Our Gal Britney is Eliminated from the BB14 House

by BBBlogger on August 31, 2012

I watched last night’s show twice because I still couldn’t figure out why Shane chose to keep Danielle over Britney. That didn’t help. Why did Shane keep Danielle over Britney? Anyway, as you know by now, Britney was evicted from the Big Brother house last night. Ahhh… In Britney style her before eviction speech ended with “as a wise old player once said, Dan you’ll always be Judas to me”. Touche’ Brit!

Okay now here’s the thing. Dan clearly manipulated the house, got himself off the block, managed to get Britney up in his place and evicted, but Frank and Jenn are the bad guys? Huh? Dan holds a “funeral” for himself. He gets everyone (except Frank) to cry for him. He convinces the HG’s that Danielle is “dead” to him, but Frank and Jenn are the bad guys? This is why I can’t cheer against Dan. Everyone else is just so darn gullible. I’m not liking Dan as a person, but I have to admire him as a Big Brother player.

Dan’s personality in the Big Brother house is interesting to watch. Did you see him laughing in the other room when Ian and Frank were fighting. Notice that he was IN THE OTHER ROOM. He stays out of conflict. ALWAYS. At least twice Britney went to Dan to discuss what happened. What did Dan say? Nothing. He stays quiet. He doesn’t argue or let the others goad him into saying something he’ll regret later. Also by playing this way, you never know what he’s thinking or what he is going to do next.

I hated seeing Britney leave the Big Brother house. She definitely was a character. I loved that little scene where she mocked Dan in the backyard. The thing is the other HG’s seemed amused, but not convinced. I’m wondering why Britney didn’t take Ian aside and try to convince him how conniving of a player Dan really is. I didn’t hear about her doing that, so if I’m wrong let me know. I would think she would have tried to convince the house to get rid of Dan ASAP. The only thing I can think of is that she admires his game play so much and since SHE was “gotten” maybe she wanted to watch the others suffer the same fate.

Let’s move on to the HOH competition. This one had the HG’s standing on a small disc which was hanging on a rope in the air. Liquid was shooting out at them and a big cushioned arm thingy would hit them every now and then as they went by. The ropes twirled in constant circular motion. When the thingy hit, it would make the individual rope twirl also. Yep, not a good competition for the motion sickness crowd. I did hear one of the HG’s ask another if the Dramamine was working. If I took Dramamine, I wouldn’t be nauseous, but I’d be asleep! In typical Joe fashion, he stayed on for less than a minute. Jenn also didn’t make it until the end of CBS’s live show. Those two are so sad when it comes to competitions.

The live show ended here, but I’m going on with what happened so stop reading if you don’t want to know.

Third off the ropes was Danielle. She could not stand the twirling motion. Next one to drop was Dan. Did he feel sick or did he throw the competition? He didn’t seem to be able to move off the ground so I’m thinking he was sick, but he still could be keeping his hands clean and not wanting to be HOH. This was within the first hour of the competition. All we have left swinging is Ian and Shane. Everyone in Twitter land was convinced that Ian had this one in the bag. You can only assume that this is true because after about another hour, Shane asks all the HG’s to go inside so he can talk to Ian in private. He asks Ian to swear that he and Danielle are safe and will not be up for eviction this week. Ian swears. Shane jumps down. Ian is the new HOH.

Shane is looking more and more like an idiot in this game. In the beginning, he was supposedly “using” Danielle and acting slightly romantic to make sure she would play the game the way he wanted her to. Do you realize that somewhere along the line that changed and now Danielle is “using” Shane to make sure he plays the game the way SHE wants him to. Shane is a follower and not a leader. Frank acts the same way as Shane. Someone convinces him of something and he acts. No thoughts are coming out of Frank’s head. Dan is Danielle’s puppet master, so put her in the category with Frank and Shane. Joe and Jenn are floaters and don’t even count. That leaves Ian and Dan. Ian confuses me because I’m not sure if he is being influenced by anyone in particular or not. Definitely, Dan is in charge of this Big Brother 14 house!

Last I heard, Ian was planning to nominate Frank and Jenn with Joe as the replacement nominee and pawn. Once again, Frank will be the target for elimination. Hey, wait a minute! Frank cannot play for HOH next week. So why on earth would you try to get him out THIS week? Wouldn’t it be better to get someone out who CAN play for HOH and eliminate one more threat? Hmm, I know, how about Dan? If Dan leaves the house this week, the only HG’s that can play for HOH are Danielle, Shane, Jenn and Joe. If Frank leaves the house this week the HG’s playing for HOH are Dan, Danielle, Shane, Jenn and Joe. If Danielle leaves the house this week, the HG’s playing for HOH are Dan, Shane, Jenn and Joe. See where I’m going with this? Think, Ian, think.

Sadly, all we can do is watch and hope! Bloggergal

Just when you thought Big Brother 14 had NO CHANCE of being EPIC…Dan comes back from the grave (literally) and makes some amazing moves!

If you did not watch Wednesday’s televised show, I highly recommend you watch since I think Dan showed why he is someone to watch and why he has WON Big Brother in the past.

Ian might have GOT Boogie but it is looking like Dan is making sure he is the last Coach standing!

On a personal side note, I have for years thought Dr. Will Kirby was hands down the best player ever in the Big Brother house…after last night’s show…I am actually reconsidering my long standing belief!

So the house has been flipped and Brit is on the block. A place where she did NOT expect to be…

So let’s hear it Big Brother Blog faithful! Who is out this week? Is it Danielle or is it Britney? VOTE in the comments below! (or on the poll to the RIGHT!)

Peace, BBBlogger

Dan Shows How the Game is Played on BB14 Tonight

by BBBlogger on August 29, 2012

Usually Big Brother’s Wednesday night shows are a little boring, but that wasn’t the case tonight. The Veto competition had HOH Frank, the two nominees Dan and Danielle, Shane, Britney and Jenn facing off. They had to identify a drawn picture and then if they were correct take a punishment to receive the points. The plan was supposed to be that Dan and Danielle would throw the competition so that either Britney or Shane would win. Then the Quack Pack would have the ability to keep all five members safe. However, I don’t see how that would have worked because if Britney or Shane won POV and used it, what was preventing Frank from putting up the other…either Shane or Britney?

Anyway, Dan never attempted to throw the competition. He wanted to win and take himself off the block. This SHOULD have been a huge alarm to Shane and Britney that he didn’t care if one of them replaced him on the block. Frank was ahead in the competition when he broke the rules by saying a word aloud when it was Britney’s turn. This got him disqualified. Britney couldn’t name one of the drawings and this left the final to be between Jenn and Dan. Jenn pulls off the win and holds the second POV. Along with winning, she now must remain on slop for the remainder of the game. Now, at this point, everyone thinks that things will remain the same. Ian isn’t using his veto and Jenn isn’t using hers. Dan will be leaving the house on Thursday. Quick aside…Shane couldn’t get ONE word in that competition? Not one word, Shane? Good for you…let the others take the punishments and you sit and watch.

Dan’s punishment of spending 24 hours in solitary confinement is a curse for the BB14 house. He spends all that time figuring a way of of this mess. He devises a plan to get himself and Danielle safe this week. The man is diabolical. Part one had Dan come out of 24 hours of isolation acting kinda strange. He was pretending to be disoriented, looked pale, etc. All the HG’s were concerned about his well-being. Suckers! Part two had Dan staging an elaborate funeral for himself. He spoke about all the HG’s, nicely I might add. He had everyone, except Frank crying like he was really dying. What the heck is wrong with you people? This is Big Brother. It’s a GAME. GAME. GAME. Can’t say that word enough times.

Next Dan does something that the HG’s find unbelievable. He turns to Danielle, tells her she knows what she did and tells her that she is dead to him. The shock on all the HG’s faces was pretty funny. Everyone is trying to figure out what Dani could have done to make Dan so mad, especially Dani. She’s crying her eyes out to Shane.

In the meanwhile, Dan has moved on to step three. He goes up to the HOH with Frank and squeals like a stuck pig. He tells Frank everything about the Quack Pack, about Ian, etc. Frank believes him because after all, he’s telling the truth! Dan sneakily convinces Frank that instead of evicting him they should concentrate on evicting Britney. He would have gone after Ian, but Ian has the Golden Power of Veto. Jenn has already pledged her loyalty to Frank so Frank doesn’t think she will have a problem using the Veto to save Dan. Then Frank will replace Dan with Britney. A new alliance of four was born…Frank, Jenn, Dan and Danielle.

I knew all the above, but what I didn’t know is that Dan told Danielle the whole plan BEFORE the POV was held. I thought Dan had kept her in the dark until after the Veto ceremony. She’s not so innocent looking to me now.

The POV is held and Ian doesn’t use his. Everyone is expecting Jenn to do the same, but she uses her Veto to take Dan off the block and Frank zeroes in on Ian. He tells him since he can’t put him up, he’s going after his “besty” Britney. You could actually almost see horror on Ian’s face. Britney, of course was shocked.

I still don’t understand how the votes are turning against Britney. If Ian, Shane and Joe stick together, Britney would remain in the game. Somehow, everyone, yep even Shane seem to be heading toward evicting Britney. I’m hoping they say tomorrow night how that happened. I really don’t understand the switch. Through the Live Feeds, I’m also seeing that Dan is NOT looking like a bad guy in all this. Huh?

Tomorrow’s live show should be another interesting one! See you then…Bloggergal

Big Brother 14 Wednesday Update

by BBBlogger on August 29, 2012

Hello Everyone!

First of all, to let you know, we have a couple of new posters at the end of the last blog. I just approved their comments, so “regulars”, go back there and make them feel welcome!

Next, I have no idea what to say on here! I don’t know who to believe since everyone seems to be telling everyone else what they want to hear. As Mama Margie says, I heard through the grapevine that last night Shane told Brittany that he was voting her out. Then I heard she took both Xanax and drank (a lot) and ended up in the ER. I haven’t had a chance to read yesterday’s comments, so I’m not sure if you saw that too. After I finish this very short blog, I plan to spend a little while on Flashback to see what the heck was going on. I did hear that Brittany was back in the house and sleeping.

That’s it for now. You have a fresh page. Have a great day. Bloggergal

This blog contains spoilers!!!

The Veto ceremony was held and Jenn used the Veto on Dan. Frank replaced Dan with Brittany. Ian flipped out. Why, you ask? Well, I think because HE wants to be the mastermind this season, but Dan definitely pulled ahead with this latest scheme. Think about it. Dan was on the block. Everyone was set to vote him off. Frank supposedly hated him because he felt that Dan was behind getting Boogie out of the house. What does Dan do? He goes to Frank, with the Bible and swears he’s telling the truth. He tells Frank ALL. He explains how it was Ian that told Brittany about Mike going after her and Shane. Yes, it was Ian and Brittany and Shane, but lets face facts…Dan wanted Boogie out of the house just as much as the others. However, he is able to turn the table around and next thing you know, he’s off the block and Brittany is on.

So now we have Danielle and Brittany facing off this Thursday. Dan, academy award actor that he is declares his hate for Danielle. At his funeral speech, he tells her “You are dead to me.” Huh? The sad part is that the other HG’s fall for this, hook, line and sinker. Dan’s closest ally all season has been Danielle and all of a sudden she is “dead” to him. Shane, Brittany, Ian…what are you thinking???? Okay, so this is where I’m totally confused. I don’t understand why this next vote isn’t a no-brainer. Ian, Shane and Joe vote to save Brittany. Jenn and Dan vote to save Danielle. Brittany stays and Danielle goes. This leaves Dan and Frank with one less ally, right? Wrong? Frankly, I have no idea. I think that in terms of winning, Danielle seems to be the stronger competitor. That alone would have me vote for her to be evicted. What if it was Shane against Dan on the block. We know Brittany would keep Shane, but what would Danielle do? Hopefully, Joe is telling Shane the truth when he says he will vote whichever way Shane is voting. I would be very surprised to see Ian vote Brittany out of the house. In fact, knowing how he feels about her being backdoored (and him looking stupid), I would for sure think he would want to see Danielle get evicted.

Update on America Votes…PayPal is far ahead of Live Feeds as the award for Star’s 50,000th comment. FYI, Star…feel free to vote and influence the votes anyway you see fit!

Have a safe Tuesday, especially y’all in the storm’s path. Bloggergal

Big Brother 14…It’s Getting Good!

by BBBlogger on August 27, 2012

Hi All! I’m so sorry. There was a miscommunication between me and BBBlogger. I thought he was writing yesterday’s blog. I wasn’t able to check on that because it was one of my famous migraine days. That’s also why the comments weren’t moderated.

I can’t believe all that I missed yesterday! Wow, what a day and night to be on the Live Feeds. I did spend a little time this morning on the Live Feed Flashbacks. I wish I could just sit all day and watch what went on yesterday, but I have a feeling I’m going to need some time to see what happens after the Veto competition.

On the TV show last night, we were able to see Frank win the HOH and also watch what happened with Pandora’s Box. The television show is always so strange for me to watch because as faithful BB followers we are so far ahead than that. For the sake of completion, Ian won the Golden Power of Veto by playing the crane machine and getting the Veto ball out. That competition was started by Frank opening Pandora’s Box. Frank was able to pick three boxes that contained random amounts of money. He made $3,333 plus a few more dollars. From what I understand Ian can only use the Golden Power of Veto before the regular veto today. He only has one opportunity to use it.

Frank put Dan and Danielle on the block. This is where the TV show ends. Here come the Spoilers…

The Veto competition was held and Jenn wins. It was the “Who Wants It More” competition which means the competitors had to agree to punishments to try to win the Veto. Jenn agreed to remain on slop for the remainder of the season. Frank has to wear a carrot suit. Brittany and Danielle were chained together for 24 hours. Dan spent 24 hours in solitary “disco” confinement. Joe didn’t get the chance to play. Frank also had to take Chum baths. There’s more, but I’ll hold off until the show comes on TV on Wednesday.

So lets review for a second, Dan spent 24 hours in solitary confinement. All he had in there was his amazing scheming brain. I think he spent all 24 hours working on various plans to get himself out of this predicament. When he comes out of confinement, he was determined to “play the house” and boy does he. Since I was sick, I probably missed some of what went on. I did see that he pretended to be really sick after coming out of confinement. He had all the HG’s worried about him. It was pretty funny to see.

Next came Dan’s epic funeral speech. This, you have to see for yourselves. Check out Kevin’s comment from yesterday #144. This is why the BB Live Feeds are amazing. Not only do you get to watch Live, but you also have the opportunity to Flashback to any time you want to see.

After the speech, Dan goes up to the HOH with Frank and tells all. Ian and Brittany are thrown under the bus without any kind of regret from the Master game player Dan. To make a very long story short, by the end of the night Frank, Dan and Jenn are in an alliance. Jenn agreed to save Dan and Frank has agreed to replace him with Brittany. I’m a little confused about this because I don’t see the votes going in Danielle’s favor, or doesn’t it matter to Frank and Dan? I would assume that both Ian and Shane are solid votes for Brittany. Dan and Jenn would be solid votes for Danielle. That leaves Joe as the deciding vote. I’m not sure, but I would think that Joe is with Shane and Brittany over Frank? Help me out here BB fans!

So anyway that’s part of what went on in the BB house yesterday. Here’s a fresh page, please fill in where ever I dropped the ball. Bloggergal

Double Eviction on Big Brother 14 Last Night

by BBBlogger on August 24, 2012

Happy Friday Big Brother fans! I’m going to give you a quick recap of last night’s Big Brother show, but seriously, you need to watch this one. Julie tells the house guests that tonight is a Double Eviction. No one is surprised because on the previous night, the contestants practiced a game and Shane was allowed to practice too. This could only mean that the game would not be used for the next HOH competition.

We do a quick review of Jenn all upset and declaring that she will get revenge on Shane for putting her on the block (huh?). Then BB shows us how Dan remained quiet and protected Ian. In fact, all the Quack Pack were protecting Ian.

First eviction vote had Frank and Ashley as the only two voting to save Boogie. Boogie, of course, immediately realizes that Ian is a snake in the grass. Ian whispers to Boogie that he is going to hear things he won’t like, but that Ian respects him. Boogie whispers to Frank not to trust Ian. I think by this time Frank kinda figured that out! LOL

Seriously, if you haven’t watched the show, go find the House Guests goodbye messages to Boogie. I’m not going to repeat them here because I can’t do them justice. Just suffice it to say that Britany and Ian were awesome. In fact, Ian was so awesome that Boogie stood and tipped his hat to him.

Quickly we move on to the next HOH competition. As predicted, it’s the Before or After competition. If you have been watching the Live Feeds then you now that Ian has been waiting for this competition. He has an incredible memory and he says he knows if “so and so” brushed his teeth before using the potty. (Yep, I cleaned this one up a bit!) I’ll just skip right to the end, it comes down to Ian and Danielle in a tie breaker. Tie breakers are tough in Big Brother because it really can only be a guess. Ian is closer to the correct number and wins HOH.

This part was fun for me. Julie tells the House Guests to move into the living room for the nominations and we see Dan and Britany running after Ian. You just know that they are trying to get into his head so they can influence his nominations. Big Brother shows Ian making a deal with Joe for next week. I have no idea why. Does Ian think Joe is going to win HOH? Anyway, Ian nominates Frank and Ashley.

At this point, my husband and I ran scenarios. If Frank wasn’t nominated and then he won POV, he would have had the opportunity to take a player off the block. If Ian decided to go against the Quack Pack and nominate Dan, would he have the votes to evict Dan? If Dan stayed after being nominated by Ian, it wouldn’t be pretty for Ian. Of course, if Dan was evicted, it still might not be pretty for Ian. I saw that a lot of people thought Ian should have eliminated a “big threat” from the house, but I also see why Ian didn’t do it.

Playing in the POV competition was Frank, Ashley, Ian, Joe, Shane and Jenn. I figured it would come down to Shane and Frank since the competition involved a bit of physical activity. If Joe was in better shape, he might have pulled this one off. Frank pulls off another POV win. Here we go agin. Britany is right, Frank really does have nine lives.

When Frank takes himself off the block, Ian nominates Joe (as a pawn). The two speeches by Ashley and Joe to save themselves from being evicted are also “must watch events”. Again, I can’t describe this to you. Go find the tape!

Ashley is voted off with her only vote to stay coming from Frank. I won’t go into how Ashley was acting during this live show. Go watch her and make your own decision about that gal. Frank is shown ranting around the house about how “that poor girl” was sent out of here for nothing, etc. No one is really happy about the results of the second eviction. Frank was the target and now he’s still in the game and wanting his revenge.

At this point the Live Show on CBS ends. So if you are one of those that only watches the TV shows, stop reading now because I’m about to discuss the rest of last night’s happenings.

Every season of Big Brother, the one person that most of the house does not want to win the HOH manages to pull off a big win. Well, that happened last night. Yep, Frank is the new HOH. Uh-oh Quack Pack! And the kissing-up begins! You have to admit, it is funny to see how the House Guests turn from hating someone to “hey, I didn’t mean I don’t like you”. I’ll leave it here for you to speculate who Frank wants out of that house the most. If I were HOH, I’d be going after Dan and Shane. You have to get the most physical players out of the game. Stay tuned…Bloggergal

Boogie, Boogie, Boogie! 3rd time in the house and things are looking bad as the first REPEAT winner of Big Brother! So with Boogie’s friend Frank now safe thanks to VETO and Jenn being up on the block most people think it is a sure thing that Boogie is GONE.

Well…maybe? What does Big Brother have up their sleeves? Could they pull a magic box out of a hat?

It honestly does not matter at all what I think or what the other people thing. Here, on Big Brother Blog, all that matters is what you think!

So BBBlogger has opened up the diary room! ATTENTION!! Please report to the diary room and cast your vote to evict either Mike “Boogie” or Jenn! Comment below…

Peace, BBBlogger

PS: Today we will hit 50,000 comments! I might have to give a prize to the 50,000th commenter so GOOD LUCK!
