Big Brother 15 — If McCrae asks Amanda to marry him…

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 18, 2013

Hey, y’all:

So, this isn’t going to much of an update because again, there’s not a whole lot to update everyone on.  Ringworm Boy’s eviction tonight is going to be extremely satisfying but it’s not going to be a big surprise.

Instead, I think what we’ll all be curious to see tonight is whether or not Julie will confront Jeremy about his behavior in the house and about the comments that have been made by his allies like Aaryn and Kaitlin.  (I would hope that Julie would also ask RWB about some of his own racist statements but that might be hoping too much.)  If Ringworm Boy steps out of the house and Julie spends the whole interview asking him if he and Kaitlin are going to have a future outside of the house, I will scream.

(I’ve often been critical of the way that Julie hosts the show but if she confronts Jeremy on his BS tonight, I’ll have a whole new respect for her.)

I know that we’ll also be watching to see who wins HoH.  I know that Aaryn is convinced that if she doesn’t win HoH, she’s going to be going out the door.  What she doesn’t realize is that Helen and her alliance of Amanda, McCrae, Elissa, Andy, and Judd (a.k.a. the Knock-Outs) are planning on going after Howard next.

Personally, I think Knock-Outs will maybe manage to last a week or two longer than the Moving Company and they’ll fall apart.  The problem is that both Helen and Amanda think that they’re better players than they actually are.  As quite a few people have pointed out on this very site, both Amanda and Helen tend to be — in their own individual ways — as overbearing as Jeremy and Aaryn.  Unless you’re Evel Dick or Rachel, being overbearing rarely seems to be a good Big Brother strategy.

(Indeed, in this house and with these personalities, it appears that floating under the radar might be the smartest strategy to pursue.  At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Judd and Jessie as the final two.)

But, as for the HoH competition, the rumors that I’ve come across online would seem to suggest that its going to be an endurance competition.  Personally, I like endurance competitions because they tend to let you know who is really there to play.  It’ll be interesting to see if Kaitlin will respond to Jeremy’s eviction by refusing to surrender until she’s won HoH or if she’ll have a complete breakdown like Gina Marie.

Finally, McCrae has apparently made a ring.  If he asks Amanda to marry him while they’re in the house, I’ll win 25 dollars.  If Amanda turns him down, I’ll win another fifty.

Enjoy the show tonight everyone!  With a new movie premiering on SyFy and new episodes of Big Brother, Project Runway, Hell’s Kitchen, and Degrassi tonight, my DVR is going to explode!

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — Helen Is Making The Game Boring

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 17, 2013

Hi, y’all:

On the one hand, Helen deserves a lot of credit for sticking to the plan and doing exactly what she had she was going to do.  Kaitlin used the veto.  Jeremy went up in her place.  Despite all of Jeremy’s desperate campaigning, it looks like Jeremy is all but certain to go home.

On the other hand, the Big Brother House is kinda boring when everything goes to plan.  It’s also hard to write an update about what’s going on in the BB House when there’s nothing new going on!

Seriously, somebody needs to stir something up between now and Thursday. 🙂

However, I think that Helen’s “success” as HoH is ultimately going to be her downfall.  First off, she’s gone out of her way to try to make friends with every single houseguest — even the ones who are hated by everyone else.  (For instance, there was really no reason for Helen to go out of her way to make Kaitlin feel safe.)

What Helen is failing to consider is that all alliances in the BB House eventually fall apart and the bigger the alliance, the quicker it’s going to fall.  As HoH, Helen has literally attempted to make a deal with everyone.  She may see that as keeping peace in the house but the other HGs are probably going to look at Helen and say, “Can any of us beat her?”  Helen’s success of HoH may just serve to remind us why the best BB players — people like Dan and Dr. Will — often went out of their way not to be HoH.

In other house news, Jeremy is basically begging people to keep him, Kaitlin is upset because she feels that Jeremy is spending too much time campaigning and opposed to hanging out with her, and Gina Marie is still crying over Nick and telling people that they were destined to be together.  Yesterday, some of the HGs were talking about literally having a memorial service for Nick to help Gina Marie move on but Gina Marie replied that it was still too soon.

(Meanwhile, I imagine Nick has probably decided that he will never set foot on Staten Island again…)

As for tonight’s show, we’ll have a chance to see the POV competition.  It’ll also be interesting to see if the producers will chose to show us just how upset Amanda was over Elissa’s decision to nominate Spencer over Howard.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — The Debatable Charm of Ringworm Boy

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 16, 2013

Ringworm Boy — a.k.a. Jeremy — is a strange one, isn’t he?

Ever since Nick was evicted and Helen won Head of Household, he has been going out of his way to be nice to everyone.  That’s not shocking in itself.  That’s what you do when you don’t have any power.  You suck up to the people who do.

What’s amazing about Ringworm Boy is that he’s so good at it!  Ever since he started his charm offensive, HGs have been talking about how he’s actually a nice guy and how they regret the fact that they’re going to have to get him out of the house.  Seriously, he’s gone from being the most hated man in the house to suddenly, being the new Nick.

However, much as Nick was sent walking despite being personally popular, it looks like the same thing is about to happen to Ringworm Boy.  Yesterday, Kaitlin used the power of veto on herself and, as she was planning to do from the beginning, Helen nominated Jeremy in her place.  I have to admit that I’m no longer as big of a Helen fan as I was when she first won HoH but she deserves all the credit in the world for actually sticking to her plan.

It seems like Jeremy’s only hope is that he can either convince everyone that Spencer is a bigger threat or that Aaryn ends up saying or doing something so obnoxious, stupid, and hateful that everyone will decide that they simply cannot spend another week or two with her in the house.

Fortunately for Jeremy, there’s always a good chance that Aaryn will do just that.

Still, I’m pretty sure that come Thursday, Ringworm Boy will walk out the house wondering how things would haven gone if he had simply started pretending to be nice 3 weeks ago.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — I Am Flabbergasted

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 15, 2013

Hi, everyone!

It’s Monday and you know what the means!  That’s right — I am once again just flabbergasted at how busy I am.  That means that this is going to be another one of my short updates but I wanted to make sure that everyone had a new post to comment under.

Did everyone get to see the show last night?  Here’s just a few thoughts that I had about it:

1) I’ve been pretty critical of CBS and Alison Gordner in the past but I applaud them for showing both the fight over the bed and for not editing out Aaryn and Gina Marie’s behavior.  I also applaud them for showing the conversation between Howard and Candice afterward.  It wasn’t easy to watch but it was necessary because it showed us that, despite what some claim, words and attitudes actually can and do hurt other people.

2) I do, however, wish that we had gotten to see Judd offering to give up his bed so that Candice and Howard wouldn’t have to sleep in the Have Not room.  Regardless of what you think of him as a player, Judd is shaping up to be one of the most decent people in the house but, unfortunately, you probably wouldn’t know that unless you have the live feeds.

3) How about Gina Marie screaming after Nick got evicted?  We all already knew she got emotional and cried that night (and some of us even felt sorry for her) but it was hard not to be amused by the sight of GM screaming, “I’M FROM NEW YORK AND IT’S ON!”  What made it all the more amusing was the fact that, as we watched her shout, we already knew that GM wasn’t going to win HoH.  In fact, she wasn’t even going to come close.  That’s one reason why it’s not a good idea to play Big Brother emotionally.  (It’s true that being emotional worked for Rachel but she’s pretty much the exception to the rule.)

4) Could you believe that weakass apology that Aaryn tried to give Candice while they were both “comforting” Gina Marie?

5) One unfortunate result of having to devote so much of last night’s episode to Aaryn is that we didn’t get to see Helen’s HoH room or get to hear her read the letter from her husband.

6) During the first week, I thought McCrae was going to win it all but, after the past two weeks, I think I overestimated him.  The last straw was last night when he said that he was choosing Amanda over his alliance.  Any true fan of Big Brother knows that choosing personal loyalty over an alliance is a pretty good way to insure that you’ll eventually head out the door.

7) As far as the Have/Have Not competition was concerned, I loved watching Howard attempting to throw the comp and I’ll admit that here at the Bowman house, we made a few not-so-nice comments about the sight of Aaryn covered in milk.  (“I bet that’s not a new look for her,” was one of them.)

8) I wonder if McCrae realizes that he lost to someone who was specifically trying to throw the competition?

9) Finally, as anyone who has watched the live feeds can tell you, Andy is one of the most active of the HGs.  As was discussed in the comments section of yesterday’s post, it’s literally impossible for two people to have a conversation without Andy suddenly popping up and trying to influence people.  To me, this makes Andy one of the most interesting of the HGs.  He’s the Iago to everyone else’s Othello.  However, if you solely watched the CBS show, you would be justified in wondering what Andy does all day.  That’s another reason why I hope that Aaryn is out of the house soon.  There are a lot of interesting HGs (like Andy and Judd) who aren’t getting the attention they deserve because (for obvious reasons), the show is dominated by Aaryn’s hateful personality.

As I watched last night’s episode, it occurred to me that being an editor on Big Brother can not be an easy job.  Every year, you have to take hours of footage and try to shape it all into a storyline.  That’s why people who only watch Big Brother on CBS often come away with a totally different impression of the HGs than people who watch BBAD and the live feeds.

That’s also why so many BB villains have complained that they got a bad edit.  For Big Brother to work as a show, there have to villains for the audience to hiss and there have to be heroes for the audience to root for and, often times, those villains and heroes are created in the editing room.

What makes this season of Big Brother so interesting (and often frustrating) is that the editors didn’t have to create a villain for this season.  As anyone who has watched the live feeds can tell you, Aaryn really is just as bad in real life as she is on the show.

Still, you do have to think that the show’s producers are hoping to get Aaryn out of there before the finale.  Can you imagine the reaction if someone like Aaryn somehow won?  (Even if she ended up coming in second, she’d still walk out of the house with $250,000.)  There’s been a lot of talk of the producers influencing Elissa not to put up Howard this week and, from last night’s show, it’s easy to see why.

As a TV show, Big Brother is ultimately about taking real life and shaping it into a story.  And, as any storyteller can tell you, a villain like Aaryn has to be defeated or else nobody’s ever going to want to hear the story (or, in this case, watch another season of Big Brother) again.  For that reason, I’m sure that the producers are hoping to see Aaryn voted out of the house sooner rather than later.

However, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen this week!  Jeremy has still been trying to win people over by arguing that there are bigger threats (like Spencer and Howard) in the house but it still looks like Kaitlin is going to use the veto on herself, and then Helen is going to end up putting Jeremy on the block.

And then, it appears that it’ll be time to say “Buh bye, Ringworm Boy.”

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — It Is What It Is

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 14, 2013

Hi all:

Yesterday, it was revealed that Spencer is the MVP’s nominee and the HGs played for the veto.  How long did the veto competition take?  Well, around the same time that competition started, I started watching Sharknado.  And then, after Sharknado finished up, my boyfriend and I went to Pacific Rim. And then, after we got home from the movie and having dinner , I checked back in at the house and they were apparently still playing for the veto!

But the most important thing about the Veto comp isn’t how long it took but the fact that Jeremy was not selected to play and Kaitlin eventually ended up winning it.  If Kaitlin takes herself off the block, Jeremy will go up in her place.  If Kaitlin decides not to use the veto, she has been told that she will be voted out.  So, no matter what, there’s a showmance about to be interrupted.

Kaitlin, needless to say, is torn.

As for, Jeremy: “It is is what it is.”

Jeremy has even told her that she needs to use the veto on herself and it looks like Kaitlin is going to do it.  However, Kaitlin has been such an erratic player in the past that anything could (but probably won’t) happen.

(Perhaps Kaitlin would be more motivated to get rid of Jeremy if she was aware of a conversation he had with Spencer last week where he said, number-wise, he’s had 22 partners but he plans to get married after number 25.  I believe that conversation was before Kaitlin joined the Ringworm Club but, in the end, that still means that Kaitlin is just number 23.)

My favorite scenario is that Kaitlin takes herself off the block and then, on Thursday, as Jeremy leaves the house, Kaitlin announces, “And I’m going with him!” and then proceeds to self-evict.

That would be fun to watch.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

P.S. Speaking of watching, I can’t wait to see tonight’s show on CBS.  How much will we see of the fights over the beds?

Big Brother — Drama, Drama

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 13, 2013

Hi, y’all:

I was out all day and all night yesterday and it sounds like I missed the latest drama in the Big Brother house.  I swear, with all the showmances and the secret alliances and the psychotic outburts, it can be difficult to keep up.

As far as I can tell, here’s what’s happening:

Helen is HoH.  She might very well be the smartest and the most mature person in the house but, oddly, that might not be the best strategy when dealing with the current crop of erratic HGs.

(When I first wrote this post, I accidentally called them “the current crop of erotic HGs.”  But that’s not necessarily incorrect either…)

McCrae ended up telling everyone about the Moving Company, though it sounds like he put most of the blame on Nick.  However, by doing this, he’s now made it so that Helen, Amanda, and Elissa trust the men in the house even less than before.  So, apparently, that’s gotten them thinking about forming all-girl’s alliance (and that would include bring over Aaryn and Kaitlin) and focusing on getting out all the guys.

That’s understandable when you consider that guys like Jeremy, Spencer, and Howard are big, physical threats and all three of them have given the women reason not to trust them.  (Howard finally admitted to Helen that he was the 4th vote against Elissa.)  However, I think that Helen is engaging in some wishful thinking if she thinks that she’ll be able to trust Aaryn or Kaitlin either.  I’m all about girl power but this really doesn’t seem like the year to try an All-female alliance.

Anyway, Helen nominated Aaryn and Kaitlin for eviction but her real plan was for the MVP to nominate Howard.  Then, after the veto competition, someone would come off the block and Jeremy would go up in his place.  And, if Jeremy happened to be the veto holder than Howard would go home.  (That’s right — Howard and not Aaryn as everyone originally assumed.)

However, Elissa won the MVP and, though it hasn’t been officially announced yet, it appears that she decided to nominate Spencer instead of Howard.  This led to Amanda getting really angry.

Apparently, the LFs kept going to trivia and fish last night but, from what I’m hearing, Elissa may have said that she was told in the Diary Room not to nominate Howard.

And I can understand why the BB producers might be nervous about the way things are playing out right now.  Can you imagine the reaction if the only black man in the house was voted out while racists like Aaryn and Gina Marie were allowed to stay?  It might make for good strategy to vote out a strong player but it wouldn’t make for good television.

Plus, you have to assume that the BB producers are nervous that Aaryn could somehow make it to the jury house or even to the finale.

I think that’s it for now.  Let me know what I missed! 🙂

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — Where to Begin?

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 12, 2013

Hi, y’all:

I don’t even know where to begin.

At first I was sad and upset last night because Nick was voted out of the house on a  7-4 vote.  That’s right — the Moving Company fell apart, McCrae flipped, and cute, enigmatic Nick was sent out of the house.  Here’s how the votes broke down:

Jeremy — Elissa

Kaitlin — Elissa

Andy — Nick

Gina Marie — Elissa

Judd — Nick

Spencer — Nick

Jessie — Nick

Howard — Elissa

McCrae — Nick

Amanda — Nick

Candice — Nick

As sad as I was to see Nick go, I did feel better that none of the HGs who voted for him was spiteful about it (none of that “With pleasure, I vote to evict…” stuff that Rachel would always do).  Also, while he was talking to Julie Chen, Nick seemed to be almost relieved to be out of the house.

And considering what happened after he left, who can blame him?

As for the HoH competition, it was a memory game.  Since it required an attention to detail and a bit of intelligence, it’s not surprising that Jeremy was out of the game after the first question.  Eventually, as a result of two tie breakers, Helen was named HoH!

And then the show ended but Gina Marie’s tears did not.  The minute that Julia announced the vote, Gina Marie started sobbing.  After the HoH competition, Gina Marie could be spotted staring forlornly at Nick’s now black-and-white picture.  To those who pointed out that Nick pretty much refuses to even accept a hug from her, Gina Marie replied, “He was starting to like me!  We only needed one more week and he would have liked me!”

With Helen moving into the HoH room and Aaryn, Jeremy, and Kaitlin moving out of it, the question became who would sleep where and this led to the biggest fights of the season.

Essentially, Aaryn, Jeremy, and Kaitlin decided that they were going to take over Jessie and Judd’s bed.  When Jessie objected, Kaitlin ended up calling her immature and selfish and started to taunt her by saying that the show was obviously portraying her as being “the house slut.”  Jessie, to everyone’s surprise, got a few good lines in herself.  (My favorite was when she told Kaitlin that she was happy that Kaitlin had gotten Jeremy.  “That’s all you, girl.”)

Aaryn, meanwhile, dealt with her frustration by flipping over Candice’s bed.  When Candice came down to the bedroom and discovered what had been done, Aaryn smirked and said she did it because she heard Candice making fun of her earlier.  When Candice continued to object, Aaryn started to talk back to her in an exaggerated black accent and then Gina Marie jumped up and got in Candice’s face and started going on about how Candice’s black half was coming out.

Candice replied with, “Nick is goooooooooone!”

Howard, realizing that things were on the verge of getting physical (which would have led to Candice getting kicked out of the Big Brother House), literally picked Candice up and carried her into the next bedroom.

Candice told Howard that she wanted to fight back.  Howard said that they couldn’t fight back without hurting their respective games.  Howard started to pray.  Candice cried.  It was heart-breaking to watch.

Amanda ended up confronting Aaryn, Kaitlin, and Gina Marie about their behavior.  She told Aaryn, to her face, that the show was probably making her look like the biggest racist in the world.  (To which I would say that it’s not the show that makes Aaryn look like a racist.  It’s Aaryn.)  Aaryn stated that she’s never said anything derogatory about anyone.  Then, she started crying.

Judd, who I am starting to like more and more, finally stood up for himself and for Jessie (who I also like more after last night), told Kaitlin, Aaryn, and Jessie that they are “trash.”

Aaryn, Gina Marie, and Kaitlin have all threatened to self-evict themselves as a result of Nick being evicted.  Last night, Gina Marie seemed to be the closest to actually doing it.  Oddly enough, Ringworm Boy came across as being almost reasonable.

Helen, smart player that she is, appears to be looking to backdoor Jeremy this week.  Elissa, meanwhile, is acting like Rachel and is unnecessarily obsessing over who the fourth vote was to kick her out of the house.

For this week’s MVP, I hope everyone votes for Helen.  After being a have-not for two weeks, after suffering all sorts of abuse from girls who haven’t accomplished half of what she has, Helen handled winning HoH with grace and dignity.  (Unlike Elissa, who gloated a bit and added fuel to the fire.)  She deserves to have all the power this week.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — I vote to evict…

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 11, 2013

Hi, everyone!

We’ve only got a few hours to go until tonight’s live eviction.  I vote to evict Elissa!  Not that it makes any difference because 1) I’m not in the house and 2) it looks like  Elissa and her group have gotten enough people (McCrae, in particular) to flip and therefore, Nick’s going to be sent home.

And, as much as I’m going to miss looking at Nick, I am looking forward to seeing Ringworm Boy and Aaryn react to the discovery that, thanks to the MVP twist, they essentially have no power in the house.

That said, I’m still not an Elissa fan.  Whenever she shows up on screen, I’m reminded of the fact that there are thousands of true BB fans who tried out for this season but who didn’t get an opportunity to play the game that they love because Gordner and company had to make room for Rachel’s sister.

(And, quite frankly, what the point of having an MVP if the same person is going to win it every week regardless of whether they’re playing a good game or not.  Simply saying, “Nothing gets between me and my whatever” does not count as playing a good game.)

Finally, I read that a member of the BBBlog community passed away last night. This is my first season to really be a part of things here at this site so I never got a chance to talk to or meet Mike.  However, I can tell by the comments that others have made here that he was an important and loved member of this community.  This short blog post is dedicated to his memory.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — The Unbearable Lightness of Aaryn

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 10, 2013

Hey y’all!

Well, there’s really not much going on in the Big Brother house.  The nominees for eviction are still Helen, Elissa, and Nick.  Up until yesterday, I was pretty certain that Elissa would be going home but then I started to hear some talk that things were starting to look a little bit shaky for Nick.  To be honest, I’m having a hard time keeping track of who is plotting what this season, if just because the collective house seems to have about a 2 minute attention span.

Maybe everything will make a little bit more sense after tonight’s show!  At the very least, we’ll get to see who this former BB favorite is who is returning to the show and what his message for the HGS was.  (However, if his or her message was to watch all the racist and homophobic language, it was a message that apparently went over Aaryn and Gina Marie’s heads because they were at it again, yesterday.)

Also, as HoH, Aaryn had to write a blog that was then posted over at CBS.  HoH8 posted Aaryn’s blog in the comments section of yesterday’s post and I’m going to repost it here, just in case anyone missed it.

HOH BLOG: AARYN
POSTED ON JUL 9, 2013 10:55AM

Hey Y’all! It’s your current HOH and BB Bunny, Aaryn! This week has been great for me. I couldn’t have asked for a better time to be in this position. Going into this HOH competition, I knew I had to win in order to secure my safety. Things weren’t looking too good! David leaving was extremely hard for me, and it caused me to question every person in this house. Being around someone 24/7 for even just 13 days creates a bond that is painful to break cold turkey! Thankfully I have been able to see things more clearly now that I have received a wakeup call. I have changed my game completely and am realizing what I need to do that I previously wouldn’t have thought twice about. After all, this is a G.A.M.E, and I need to be reminded of that often. I have a fireball personality and am one of the most up front people you will ever meet, and that is hurting my game. There are pros and cons of every move we make in this house, and the best I can do is what I’m doing. I’ve learned a lot about life in just 19 days, and no matter what happens I will be forever grateful for that (no matter how many times I’m sassy) .

Now, about my nominations… I know the Brenchel fans aren’t happy with me, but I hope you all get to see that I tried more than once to align with Elissa. She has a personal vendetta against me and it is in my best interest to see her walk out the door on Thursday. I hope you all can respect that this game means a lot to me, and not even the sister of someone whom I was a super-fan of is going to come in-between that. I have a lot of respect for Helen, but she is highly responsible (along with Elissa) for David’s eviction. He deserves to be here and I miss him every day. For those of you who don’t know yet, Helen and I now play for the same team (secretly)… so don’t doubt me just yet! I have turned a lot of things around this week thanks to my partner in crime, Jeremy, and I know I wouldn’t be writing this if it weren’t for him. I’m enjoying the HOH luxuries, but the greatest gift in this game is safety. Having one week to relax and get your s*** together is truly priceless. The only thing that would make this HOH better is not having to share a bed with Jerelin (Jeremy and Kaitlin)… AWKWARD! Before I go, I just want to let my family and friends know that I think about them every day and miss them more than words can explain. XOXO

CBS

Considering the allegations of cheating and Jeremy’s habit of threatening anyone who he thinks isn’t voting his way, partner in crime is a pretty good description of Ringworm Boy, no?

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie (who, after being reminded that Big Brother is a G.A.M.E., thinks that Aaryn is a M.O.R.O.N.)

Big Brother 15 — Save The Eye Candy!

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 9, 2013

Hi, everyone!

Yesterday, Ringworm Boy used the power of veto on himself so Elissa nominated Nick to take his place.

Elissa is still convinced that Nick voted to evict her, even though Nick voted to evict David and he really hasn’t given Elissa any reason to believe that he’s trying to get her out of the house.  Elissa is trying to make the argument that Nick is a big, physical threat and that the girls need to get the  boys out of the house or else the boys are going to dominate the game.

If Elissa had been smart, she would have nominated either Kaitlin or Amanda — nobody trusts either one of them and it’s always a good strategy to break up the power couples.

Strategy, however, doesn’t seem to be Elissa’s strong suit.  It wasn’t Rachel’s either but Rachel was actually good at challenges and had allies in the house so it didn’t hurt Rachel’s game as much that she was basically totally clueless for 90% of her time in the BB House.

Last time I checked, it looked like Nick had the votes to stay in the house but that could change.  I do hope Nicks stays because 1) he’s nice to look at, 2) I’m tired of Elissa saying that nobody gets between her and her whatever, and 3) Nick’s hot.

Seriously, there’s a serious lack of hot guys in the house this season.  Ringworm Boy is too much of a jerk and a bully to really be hot.  Howard’s nice to look at but he sure seems to spend a lot of time praying.  Judd’s too goofy, Spencer is always talking about Hitler, Andy looks like he’s 12, and McCrae is McCrae.  So, seriously, Nick is pretty much it.

Guys aren’t the only ones who need eye candy in the house.

They also finally told the HGs that the eviction night has been changed from Wednesday and Thursday and Aaryn was so mad.  She’s convinced that the only reason the night was moved was to give Elissa an extra night in the house.

(Aaryn, Gina Marie, Jeremy, and Kaitlin are convinced that the producers are secretly helping Elissa.  As much as I hate to even kinda agree with any of those people, Alison Gordner has always had her favorites — Jesse, Rachel, Jeff & Jordan, Evel Dick — and Big Brother does have a history of attempting to slant the game in favor of Gordner’s faves.  As has been stated several times on this very blog, the whole MVP twist seems to have been designed specifically to help out Elissa.)

On the racism front, Gina Marie spent a while last night trying to “talk” like Candice.  So, if the producers have attempted to talk to Gina Marie about some of her comments, it didn’t do much good.

I think that’s it for now.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie (who is trying to be a positive role model for both girls from Texas and girls named Something Marie.)

P.S. Yesterday’s odd blog title — Faster, Clownie!  Kill!  Kill! — was an homage to a 1965 film called Faster, Pussycat!  Kill!  Kill!  I tried to come up with a similar title for this blog post but I couldn’t think of anything more than “Nick of time.”  So, I went with Save The Eye Candy because that’s what I’m hoping the house does this week. 🙂
