Big Brother 15 — A Quick Update Before Tonight’s Live Show

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 12, 2013

Hi, y’all!

Well, J-U-Double-D was evicted last night.  As bad as I felt the first time that Judd was evicted, I wasn’t that upset this time.  As opposed to the first time he was voted out, Judd brought this one on himself by not being a very good player.  In fact, when you consider just how bad Judd turned out to be at this game, it makes it even more hilarious that Helen considered evicting him to be a “HUMONGOUS MOVE!”

I still like Judd, personally, and I would have enjoyed seeing him make it to the final two but oh well.  If nothing else, Judd, along with Elissa, seems like the only player this season with a chance to be asked back for an All-Stars season.

(If Judd had won, he really should have given half the money to his bear shirt because, seriously, I think the bear shirt is the most popular thing in the house this season.)

Anyway, after Judd was evicted, Andy won HoH.  Making it even worse is that Andy won HoH as the result of guessing a number.  Andy’s guess wasn’t anywhere close but both McCrae and GinaMarie went over with their guess so Andy won.  It’s bad enough that the rat won HoH.  The fact that he won it by randomly guessing a number makes it even worse.

Anyway, Andy nominated McCrae and Spencer for eviction.  I’m not surprised that he nominated McCrae but I am surprised that he went with Spencer instead of GM.  Spencer is Andy’s closest ally in the house so why even offer up the chance for Gina Marie to have change of heart and vote him out of the house?

They had the veto competition earlier today and Andy won.  So, it appears that the nominations will remain the same and, as the only houseguest with a vote, Gina Marie will tell either McCrae and Spencer to “get to stepping.”  And, as of right now, it seems pretty certain that McCrae will be hte one sent to the jury house.

And then, the final three HGs will compete for the chance to the the final head of household.

We’ll see it all tonight!

Even better, we’ll finally get a chance to see what’s happening in the jury house.  Rumor has it that Amanda has been up to her old bullying way, telling people that they better vote for McCrae to win.  (Of course, what she doesn’t know is that McCrae is probably going to be voted out tonight.)  Reportedly, Amanda feels that the only way McCranda will get on the Amazing Race is if McCrae wins the game.

Myself, I’m less concerned with Amanda and more curious to see if Aaryn has said anything to Candice.  I have a feeling that if Aaryn is talking to anyone, she’s probably talking to Helen and Helen is probably telling her that the studio audience was wrong and that everyone loves her.  (“You are Janelle.  You made some HUMONGOUS moves in the house…”)

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — Will McCrae Cry Again?

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 10, 2013

Hey, y’all:

Well, it’s Tuesday and the live feeds are down because someone is getting evicted today.  We’ll see the eviction on Wednesday night.

Now, if you want to be surprised at what happens, stop reading now.

Otherwise, here’s what’s going on:

Yesterday, as expected, McCrae used the veto to take himself off the block.  Spencer nominated Judd in his place.

So, today, either Judd or Gina Marie will be voted out.

And, I’m sorry to say, things aren’t looking good for the J-U-Double D.

Around the time the feeds went down, Judd seemed to have some suspicions that he was the one going home.  Even before he went up on the block, he was obsessively asking Spencer and Andy if he was the target.  Spencer and Andy have both been assuring him that their target is Gina Marie but, have no doubt, Judd is the target.

“I don’t want to go to the jury house with those girls!” Judd said at one point and really, can you blame him for not wanting to have to spend the rest of the game hanging out with Helen and Amanda?

So, unless there’s some sort of major power shift in the house within the next few hours, Judd will be voted out.

Which means that on Wednesday, there’s going to be a lot of tears on twitter.

I have to admit, I liked Judd better before he re-entered the house.  Before his first eviction, Judd seemed like the only decent, down-to-Earth guy in the house.  When he did get evicted, it was largely because of the way that production screwed up that awful MVP twist. I felt sorry for Judd and I was happy to see him get another chance to play the game.

However, since coming back into the house, Judd hasn’t really lived up to the promise that he showed during the first half of the show.  A lot of that is because he’s obviously bitter about the way he got evicted the first time and that eviction has also left him extremely paranoid.

So, again, I blame that stupid MVP twist.

But regardless of the reasons, Judd and his Bear Shirt are probably about to leave the house again.

Really, the only unanswered question is this:

Will McCrae cry again?

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — About Last Night

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 9, 2013

Hi, everyone!

So, was it just me or was last night’s episode of Big Brother kinda weird?  In just a few weeks time, all of the big personalities have been taken out of the house.  With the eviction of both Amanda and Elissa on Thursday, the show lost the two players who have dominated probably about 75% of this season.

Last night was the first episode since the show started that we did NOT have to listen to Amanda in the Diary Room.  Now, for me, this is kind of a blessing because, whenever I saw Amanda in the Diary Room with the little smirk on her face and robotically delivering jokes that were obviously fed to her ahead of time, it was like listening to nails on chalk board.

However, now that Amanda is gone, last night’s episode seemed to be dominated by Andy.  Seriously, it seemed like every time I looked up at the TV screen, there was that red-faced little rat.  I know that, since the show started, Andy has been one of the HGs that most frequently gets called to the Diary Room and I’ve heard him saying, in the past, that he hoped they were using his Diary Room visits for the show.

Well, now, they are and, to be honest, it would probably be better for Andy if they hadn’t.  If you didn’t dislike Andy before, just wait until you see him in the Diary Room.

After last night’s show, Rachel Reilly tweeted that she’s never going to watch Big Brother again.  Now, I have to say that Rachel says this pretty frequently but I can understand why she was upset after last night’s episode.  While Elissa did get on my nerves with her constant plea of “Please don’t vote me out!”, it was impossible not to feel sorry for her as Andy (who apparently has no conscience) continually called her a liar.

Don’t get me wrong.  I think Elissa deserved to get voted out because, honestly, she wasn’t that good of a player.  I’m just not happy about the way it happened.

(Of course, we also know what the show didn’t tell us — that the remaining HGs spent the rest of the night saying some amazingly vile things about Elissa and throwing her stuff around the house.)

Anyway, as for what’s happening the house right now, GM and McCrae are the nominees but McCrae has won the veto.  I believe they’re having the Veto Ceremony today.

When last I checked, Andy and Spencer were trying to convince McCrae to either not use the veto at all or to use the veto on GM.  McCrae, however, told them: “If I wouldn’t use the veto save Amanda, why the f*ck would I save GM?”

The plan right now is that once McCrae uses the veto, Judd will go up as the replacement nominee and will be voted out (for a second time) on Wednesday.

As a final note, as much as I would have hated the idea of Amanda winning the game, now I have to prepare myself for the fact that it looks like Andy or Spencer could very well end up winning.

As much criticism as this season has received, we all know that Big Brother will return next season.  Alison Grodner may or may not return and they may replace some people involved in casting this season but the show will return.

When it does return, I hope they’ll have an entirely new house.  Can you imagine being a houseguest on Big Brother 16 and knowing that you’re in the same room that once housed Spencer and McCrae?  I can’t look at either one of them without thinking about bedbugs.  What they need to do is build an entirely new house and perhaps have a priest come in and bless it.

Seriously, this season is going to leave some evil spirits that need to be exorcised!

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — I’m Back

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 8, 2013

Hi, y’all!

I’m back from my vacation and, much as I feared would happen, it looks like I’ve gotten back just in time for the show to start to get boring.

I mean, we all knew that the house would not be quite as exciting without Amanda around but that was a risk that I was willing to take because, quite frankly, I didn’t want Amanda to win the game.

Oddly enough — especially when you consider how I felt about her during the first three weeks of the game — I wanted Elissa to win.  I think, like a lot of people, I assumed that Thursday would see Amanda and McCrae being evicted, therefore clearing the way for Elissa to make it to the final two.

Of course, I was wrong.  Amanda was voted out and, because Andy did such a good job of hiding the fact that he’s a rat, Elissa was blamed.  Hence, when McCrae became HoH, he immediately went after Elissa and got her evicted.  It was exciting to watch but not all that emotionally satisfying.

Now, I have to admit that I’m still getting caught up on everything that has happened in the house over the past few days.  For anyone who hasn’t had the opportunity to read any of the comments left under the previous post, here’s a quick summary of what’s going on:

There are 5 people left in the house and it’s not the five who most of us would have expected to have lasted this long in the game:

There’s McCrae, the perpetually dirty pizza boy.  Everyone wants McCrae out but, without having the albatross of Amanda hanging around his neck, he’s suddenly started to get good at competitions again.

There’s Judd, who was voted out earlier but then won the chance to reenter the house.  Remember how excited we were when Judd first came back?  I think that had a lot to do with the fact that he was originally voted out because of stupid Helen, stupid Amanda, and the stupid MVP twist.  Once Judd returned, we rediscovered that he really wasn’t that good of a player in the first place.

There’s Spencer, the disgusting guy who hates women and makes jokes about child porn.  I mean, what else can you really say about Spencer?

There’s Andy, the rat.  Normally, I would root for Andy because, like me, he’s got red hair.  But he’s such a rat that I’m revoking his right to refer to himself as being a redhead.  As far as I’m concerned, his hair is orange.

And finally, you’ve got Gina Marie.  GM is probably the most frustrating of all the remaining houseguests because, whenever you start to actually like her, she always manages to do or say something totally inappropriate and offensive.

Seriously, who do you root for out of that bunch?  Now that Amanda’s gone, a lot of people online seem to be deciding that they like McCrae again.  But, you know if McCrae wins, he’s going to end up basically giving all of the money to Amanda anyway.  McCrae’s only hope of escaping from Amanda’s talons is to remain poor.

Anyway, after Thursday’s eviction show, Spencer won HoH.  He nominated GM and McCrae for eviction.  McCrae was the obvious target but, earlier today, McCrae won the POV.  McCrae is going to veto his nomination and Judd will be going up in his place.  Either Judd or GM will be evicted on Wednesday and then on Thursday, one more houseguest will be evicted and that will lead to the final HOH challenge between the three remaining houseguests.

There’s a point during every Big Brother season that the jury house becomes more interesting than the BB House and we’ve definitely reached that point for season 15.  Personally, I would love to know how Jessie, Candice, Helen, Aaryn, Amanda, and Elissa are all handling being trapped in a house together, considering the fact that, since they can no longer win the game, they don’t have any reason to continue to pretend to like each other.

You have to wonder if Aaryn has said anything to Candice since she arrived at the house.  Is Helen still telling Aaryn that she’s Janelle?  How has Jessie reacted to seeing Amanda and, even more importantly, does she know that Judd and Aaryn hooked up the night before Aaryn was voted out of the house?  Finally, did Elissa get her wedding ring back?

One thing’s for sure.  This is going to be one of the most bitter juries in Big Brother history.

Anyway, that’s it for now!  I’m glad to be back and I’m looking forward to seeing how this season ends.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother Live show madness and aftermath

by BBBlogger on September 6, 2013

So I really hope you were all watching last night! I mean it was amazing!! Peyton Manning throwing for 7 touchdowns in a single game…..oh wait, we are talking about the LIVE SHOW and Double Elimination last night on Big Brother 15. Right…my bad!

Well it starts out like this, Amanda and Spencer are on the block. Amanda has a slim chance of hope that Andy (yes Andy of all people) is going to save her and if that happens then maybe Elissa will have a chance to do something in this game. (I have to admit…she has grown on me and I am hoping she will do well at the end)

So then it goes down like this.

Amanda is voted out. 2-2 Tie with GM kicking her out.

McCrae wins HOH. (I did it for you Amanda my love….)
Without hesitation puts up GM and Elissa for his one minute of vengeance.
Judd wins POV and of course does not use it.
The 3 guys, Spencer, Judd and Andy all vote to evict Elissa and she is gone. Her game is out just like that.

Best part is, she thinks McCrae voted for Amanda and ruined her game. HAHAHAHA The truth is, Andy turns from simple floater to a game bending mastermind. He even has the balls to tell Amanda (who had no clue) that he did it in the video. Gutsy since he still would like her VOTE…but who knows. Could be good or bad but quite simply. Andy is the reason that Amanda is out of the house and part of the reason that Elissa is too. He is the master exterminator.

So when the dust settles, we have 5 left, McCrae cannot be HOH, Amanda and Elissa are gone and it looks like McCrae is screwed this week.

So what did you think about last night’s show? Did it go down how you wanted it too? Are you happy with the results?

Who of the final 5 are you cheering for? GM is the last lady standing. J, U, to the double D is my pick since he came back and did not leave again right away. I like him. He is quirky and deserves a shot. I am not an Andy fan but he is doing what he needs to in order to be there. Or Spencer….the guy just does not get voted out! LOL

See you in the comments! Love you all!

Peace, BBBlogger

Hey everyone,

BBBlogger here and we are once again opening the Diary Room for you, the Big Brother Blog faithful to cast your vote to evict either Spencer the renom/pawn/sucker or Amanda the one everyone hates (except McCrae).

Since everyone is hating on Amanda I found the comment from Caprice2000 entertaining. She said…

We’re asked to “expect the unexpected”, not to “accept the unacceptable”.

(I did make 2 slight edits to the above comment but the sentiment is still conveyed!)

Is this how everyone feels when watching Amanda this season?

So a lot of buzz about Elissa wanting to save Amanda and go final 3 with McCranda. Thoughts? A bunch of BS? Is Amanda going to live through tonight and the DOUBLE EVICTION??

Enough about me and my crazy thoughts…what about you. Who do you want out? Is tonight the end of the longest running Shomance ever? #whatever or is it the end of Spencer’s on the block luck streak. #7timesthecharm

CAST YOUR VOTE TO EVICT IN THE COMMENTS BELOW!

Big Brother 15 — It Doesn’t Make Sense!

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 4, 2013

Hey y’all!

I won’t be back from my vacation until Saturday evening but I wanted to take a moment to give everyone a new page to comment under and to post a quick update about what’s going on in the house.

So, as we all know, Amanda and McCrae were nominated for eviction and Amanda basically had a meltdown.  If you haven’t gotten a chance to see Amanda losing her mind over the nominations, be sure to watch the show on Wednesday because they will definitely show some highlights.

(But will they show Amanda attempting to hit Elissa with the storage room door?  That’s what I want to know.)

Anyway, they played for the veto and McCrae won.  There was some attempt, on the part of Judd and Amanda herself, to try to trick McCrae into using the veto on Amanda by trying to convince him that Elissa would go up in Amanda’s place and then Elissa would be voted out and both Amanda and McCrae would stay.  (Of course, the real plan was to trick McCrae into staying on the block so he could then be voted out of the house.)

I have to be honest — I almost expected that McCrae would end up using the veto on Amanda but instead, he used it on himself.  Despite Amanda’s attempts to convince GM to nominate Elissa as a replacement.  Instead, GM nominated Spencer.

So, it looked like Amanda was sure to go and even McCrae said he didn’t know whether he would vote for her to stay or not.  (Seriously, McCrae is the worst Big Brother Husband in the show’s history…)

But then, earlier today, I heard some news that left me saying, “It doesn’t make sense!”

Apparently, Elissa and Amanda are now in an alliance.

To a certain extent, it could make sense when you consider that Elissa has always said that she wanted to have an all girl’s alliance and you have to suspect that Elissa thinks that she could beat Amanda in a final two situation.

However, to an even larger extent, it makes absolutely no sense.  Amanda hates Elissa, her main loyalty is always going to be to McCrae, and, considering how bad Amanda is at competition, it’s not like she’s going to be able to help Elissa by winning HoH or the power of veto.

Elissa is depending on Andy to join her in saving Spencer.  However, Andy — as of right now — doesn’t seem likely to do this.  So, that would make it appear that — in a worst case scenario (at least, for those of us who want Amanda out of the house), the final vote would be 2 — 2 with GM casting the tie breaker and, presumably, sending Amanda packing.

Then again, if anyone could convince GM to vote to keep Amanda, it would probably be Elissa because GM and Elissa have gotten pretty close this week.  However, will Elissa even consider the possibility of a tied vote or will she just assume that Andy will vote to keep Amanda?

For perhaps the first time this season, I can’t predict who will be leaving on Thursday.

And let’s not forget that Thursday is going to be a double eviction episode as well!

Regardless of what happens, it’ll definitely be interesting to watch.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — The Declining Fortunes of Amanda

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 31, 2013

Hi y’all!

Greeting from Baltimore, or Bawlmer as my boyfriend and his family call it!  Yes, I am on vacation but I’m also addicted to Big Brother and, with everything that’s going on in the house right now, there was no way I could resist the temptation to post a quick update.

(Plus, seeing as the previous post was up to nearly 600 comments the last time I looked, I figured you guys could use a new page!)

So, for those of you who haven’t had time to read all of the previous comments, here’s what’s happened in the house since Aaryn got evicted last Thursday:

1) Gina Marie won head of household.

2) Amanda was convinced that GM was going to nominate Elissa and Judd and basically spent all of Thursday night taunting Elissa and telling Elissa that she was going to be sent home next Thursday.

3) Amanda met with GM in her HoH room and broke down into tears.  GM hugged Amanda while rolling her eyes.  When Amanda’s back was turned, GM looked at the camera and mouthed: “I’m nominating her.”

4) On Friday, there was a competition that involved popping a lot of balloons and making a huge mess of confetti in the house.  Spencer won a car.  McCrae was upset because he didn’t win anything but, at that point, he could still take some comfort from the fact that GM would never nominate him, right?

5) GM nominated McCrae and Amanda for eviction.

6) Amanda went insane and wandered about the house, saying: “It doesn’t make sense.”

7) Eventually, Amanda ended up in the HoH room where she screamed at GM that it didn’t make any sense.  GM screamed back that it made total sense.  Amanda screamed that GM now had a huge target on her back because the entire house wanted Elissa gone.

8) McCrae lay in bed reading the bible.

9) Amanda continued to scream and then told GM that whoever won the veto would take either her or McCrae off the block and that whoever the replacement nominee was would then be voted out.  Judd replied, “So, I should just pack my bags now?”  Amanda screamed some more and then, in between sobs, said she didn’t even want to be in the house anymore!

10) Amanda then got in bed with McCrae and the two of them spent a lot of time crying.  At one point, Amanda said that GM not only blind-sided them but she blind-sided Andy as well.

11) Actually, the rest of HGs (including Andy) were very happy with the nominations.

12) Amanda attempted to have a meeting in the storage room with Andy and Spencer.  When Spencer said that Elissa was listening at the door, Amanda through the door open, obviously hoping to hit Elissa with it.  However, Elissa had left the room so Amanda avoided being kicked out of the house.

13) They held the veto competition earlier today.  McCrae won.  Apparently, Andy did something during the competition that was designed to let everyone know that he’s no longer a member of Team Amanda.  Amanda, as a result, is now very concerned that they might not have any friends in the house.

14) Before the veto comp, McCrae was the target.  Presumably, he will take himself off the block and Spencer has volunteered to take his place.  So, it looks like it’s going to be Goodbye, Amanda on Thursday.

15) Judd, Andy, and Spencer are now apparently paranoid about Elissa.  Earlier, Judd even said that he would rather get Elissa out before Amanda.  However, GM is pretty close to Elissa right now so it doesn’t look like anyone other than Amanda or McCrae is trying to convince GM to nominate Elissa in McCrae’s place.

16) Finally, this Thursday is going to be a double eviction!  A lot of viewers would probably love to see Amanda and McCrae both go out on the same day but, as always, anything can happen!

Well, that’s it for now!  Than you, everyone, for making this site so much for to both read and write for and I hope y’all have a safe Labor Day weekend and I’ll be back full time in a week!

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Oh what a night! After watching a live eviction I always want to blog “Did you see that?” or say “Can you believe that happened last night?” Obviously, if you are reading this, you did watch and you did see it and you are excited to find out more!

Well here is what we know…

(PS SPOILERS BELOW so if you are not interested in them, STOP READING!)

Last night it was emotional for Gina Marie. I mean come on, Aaryn took the martyr approach and said if the whole house is voting me out, you should vote with them! HA! Well it was unanimous! With a vote of 5-0, Aaryn you have been evicted from the Big Brother 15 house.

Aaryn walks out and as expected boos but there was applause and quite honestly a weird mix of a reaction! I mean, it all makes total sense why…but it sounded weird to me.

Then Julie, trying to really give herself meaning on the set of Big Brother, starts laying into Aaryn and asking some tough questions…my thought was it was justified, but was it necessary THEN? Love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

The HoH comp was chicken, egg, Easter, craziness. At the end GM won and is your new HOH!

How much do you want to bet the NOMS will be McCrae and Amanda?? Bet you all a dollar! (hope I win!)

So enough of my rambling…what are your thoughts. Did you like the way it all went down? Happy that Andy survived another week? Excited about another double eviction next week? What is the special comp that is going to happen? (lame product placement or movie tie in thingy)

Hope to hear your thoughts. All is fair game. Thanks for being here with me during LM absence!

Love you all!

Peace, BBBlogger

PS: There is still time to get the feeds and watch with us. Pay for only a month and watch until the bitter end! Join us wont you?

Please report to the diary room and cast your vote to evict Aaryn or Andy!

Looks like Judd is back in the house and he wasted no time and he was snuggling and hugging and spooning and making out with Aaryn last night. Guess he is feeling like she is OUT tonight so need to get some quality time in before that happens! (or something along those lines)

Now I am not 100% sure who will go tonight (always expect the unexpected) but my guess is Aaryn and just think how will the crowd react when she walks out the house! BOOS? My guess is YES!

Should be interesting no matter what happens LIVE tonight.

So enough about my thoughts….what do you think? What do the readers of Big Brother Blog think will happen tonight. Please cast your vote in the comments below.

Peace, BBBlogger
