Big Brother 24 — Tonight’s Vote and HoH Results

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 11, 2022

I’m up at Lake Texoma on a little vacation this week so I not only got to see Daniel get voted out but I also got to do it while sitting on a deck, surrounded by still water and the beautiful countryside.  What an ideal way to watch the season’s second most annoying player get voted out!

(The most annoying is Jasmine, with her fake accent.)

Daniel came up with the brilliant idea of trying to sway the other houseguests by calling them all clowns and announcing that this was the most boring season ever.  Amazingly, this did not win him any votes.  Terrence kept his word and voted to keep Daniel but everyone else voted to evict.  Daniel left the House and told Julie that he wasn’t upset.  (LIAR!)  Then Julie explained that the Leftovers Alliance formed specifically because of Daniel yelling at Taylor.  The look on Daniel’s face was priceless.

After Daniel was evicted, Julie announced that any future evicted houseguests would now be going to the jury house instead of being sent home.  She also announced the end of the Festie Bestie twist.  There was much celebrating.

The HoH comp was the wall.  This is the comp where the HGs have to hold onto a wall and the last to fall becomes the new HoH.  In the past, this is a comp that has often gone on for hours.  This season, it lasted 47 minutes and it ended with Taylor being crowned HoH.  I would assume that means Terrence and Jasmine are probably in trouble.

However, the houseguests don’t know that there’s yet another twist coming up.  Next Thursday, the Houseguests are going to be split into two separate groups and there will be two HoHs.  It’ll lead to a double eviction.  Julie made it sound like this would all be done in one night, in a special “two-hour live event.”  Hopefully, we’ll learn more details about it as the week goes on.  To be honest, I’m a bit tired to twists.

Anyway, for now, Daniel is gone and Taylor is HoH!

It’s that time again!  It’s time for us to open up the diary room and allow you to vote on who you want to see leave this week!

Following the veto ceremony, Daniel and Kyle are currently on the block and Daniel is currently the target, even if he’s having trouble understanding that.  We know how the houseguests are going to vote but how about you?  Who do you vote to evict?

Do you vote for….

DANIEL, the Elvis impersonator who says that he loves the game

or

KYLE, the internet sensation who might love Alyssa?

Cast your vote in the poll over on the right side of the page or in the comments below!  And then be sure to watch on Thursday to see who goes home!

Happy voting!

Big Brother 24 — Delusions, Part II

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 9, 2022

Hi, everyone!

I just checked in with the Big Brother House.  Daniel was talking to Terrence and it sounds like Daniel might have convinced himself that he’s going to survive this week.  Daniel thinks that Terrence, Jasmine, Indy, and Alyssa will all vote to keep him and he’s even come up with excuses that they can use if anyone asks why they voted to keep Daniel.  For instance, Daniel was telling Terrence that Terrence could say that he voted to keep Daniel to pay him back for voting to evict Ameerah during the 2nd week.  Daniel would still need one more vote, though.  Earlier, he seemed to think that Brittany might vote to keep him but, as we know but Daniel doesn’t, Brittany is a member of the Leftovers and is allied with Kyle.

Daniel also thinks that Turner is “America’s Player” and that we, the viewers, are voting on who Turner should vote for.  By that logic, Daniel really should be making more of an effort to keep us happy!

Daniel is not the only with delusions.  Last night, Terrence told Jasmine that he threw the veto comp because he was convinced that Michael was going to keep the nominations the same.  Jasmine then went to Alyssa and claimed that she (Jasmine) was the one who threw the comp.  Jasmine essentially stole Terrence’s story.  Why exactly Jasmine would have to throw a physical comp like OTEV when she claims that she can barely walk, I’m not sure.

There are a lot of delusions in the Big Brother House right now but they’ll all come crashing down on Thursday!

Big Brother 24 — Week 5 Veto Meeting Results

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 8, 2022

Hi, everyone!

Sorry for the late update. At the veto meeting day, Michael did use the power of veto and he did put Daniel and Kyle up as replacements. At first, Daniel was pretty upset about it and walked around the House saying “goodbye” to everyone. But, when last I checked, he was excited because Jasmine and Terrence said that they would vote to keep him. “I just need 3 more votes!” Daniel told the camera.

Well, good luck with that, Daniel! As of right now, he is very much the target and both Terrence and Jasmine are (finally) starting to figure out that there’s another alliance in the House so I’ll be surprised if they keep their word to Daniele.

Daniel told Terrence that he’s planning on just “relaxing” for the next few days and not starting in the trouble. I have a feeling that won’t last. We’ll see what happens!

Big Brother 24 — Delusions

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 7, 2022

If you want to know just how delusional certain people in the House are, consider this:

After Michael and Brittany won the veto, Jasmine went up to the HoH room to talk to them.  When she came in the room, she saw that Turner was already up there talking to them.  Jasmine ordered Turner to leave so that she could talk to Michael and Brittany alone.  Turner left and Jasmine kind of rolled her eyes as he went, suggesting that she still somehow doesn’t know that Turner is working with Michael and Brittany.

Jasmine went on to tell Michael and Brittany that this was going to be a great week because they finally had a chance to get a dangerous player out of the the game.  That player was Monte.  Jasmine spent a lot of time explaining why she felt that Monte had to go this week and she said that the most important thing was that neither Michael not Brittany use their veto.

After Jasmine hopped out of the room, Michael had a good laugh at her expense.  Not only did Jasmine reveal that she thinks Monte is the biggest threat in the House but she also revealed that she had no idea that Michael and Brittany are in an alliance with Monte and Joseph.  She even lied and told Michael that the entire house wants Monte gone and that if Michael used the veto, he would have everyone in the house upset with him.  How Jasmine can still be so clueless, I have no idea.

It got even better, though.  An hour or so later, Terrence approached Michael and said that he didn’t mind staying on the block.  He went on to make the same pitch that Jasmine made, telling him that this would be a great time to get rid of Monte.  And again, Terrence made the same mistake that Jasmine made.  He not only revealed that Monte was his target but he also revealed that he doesn’t know who is aligned with who.  Whatever chance Terrence had of becoming a part of the Leftover Alliance is now pretty much gone.

For her part. Jasmine seems to be pretty sure that she convinced Michael to not use the veto.  And Daniel is starting to feel confident that he’s going to survive this week.  Daniel even thinks that he would have a majority to keep him but that’s just because he’s somehow under the impression that Brittany would vote to keep him over Kyle.

Of course, as of right now, the plan is still to blindside Daniel.  All the efforts that others have put into trying to push Michael around have just made Michael more determined to stick to the plan.

The veto meeting is tomorrow!

Big Brother 24 — Week 5 Veto Comp Results

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 6, 2022

Hi, everyone!

The veto comp was held today.  Apparently, it was OTEV.  Daniel and Kyle were not even selected to play in the veto, which really upset Daniel because he knows he’s probably going to be the target this week.  After the veto draw, he even told Kyle that he was giving up and that he was prepared to go home.  But then later, Daniel talked to Terrence and tried to convince him that, if Daniel and Kyle do go up as replacement nominees, this would be the House’s only chance to get rid of Kyle.  So, Daniel might not be as ready to leave as he’s been saying.

Anyway, the veto was won by Michael and Brittany.  I imagine that Michael will end up using the veto because Michael has been telling Brittany about how much he distrusts Daniel.  We’ll find out for sure on Monday but, as of right now, it seems pretty certain that Daniel and Kyle will end going on the block and replacement nominees and, if that happens, Daniel will be sent out the door on Thursday.

As always, we’ll see what happens!

Big Brother 24 — Week 5 Nominations

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 5, 2022

After Nicole was voted out last night, Michael won the HoH comp!  The means that Michael and Brittany are safe this week and, in theory, this should be another week where the Leftovers get out their target.

Michael made his nominations earlier today.  He selected Monte, Joseph, and Terrence to go on the block.  The plan is for one of those three to win the veto and use it.  Daniel and Kyle will then go up as replacements and Daniel will be voted out.  If Daniel wins the veto, Terrence will become the target.

There is a potential complication, though.  Kyle and Alyssa are now a serious couple.  (Last night, Indy got mad at them because they were making out while Indy was trying to sleep.)  Kyle is also starting to think about what’s going to happen in the House when there are only seven people left.  He’s concerned that Joseph, Taylor, and Monte are going to team up to take out himself, Michael, Brittany, and Turner.  Last night, Kyle told Michael and Brittany that they need to start making plans to get rid of either Monte or Joseph as soon as they can.

If Daniel wins the veto and Monte is still on the block, would Kyle decide to go after him?  Before the nomination ceremony, Alyssa told Jasmine and Indy that she thinks Monte is the biggest threat in the House and all three agreed to vote for him if he was on the block.  Would Kyle betray the Leftovers to join his girlfriend in voting to evict Monte?

It’s hard to say.  First, we have to see who wins the veto.  We’ll find that out tomorrow!

For now, what matters is that Michael’s HoH, Monte, Joseph, and Terrence are on the block, and Daniel is the ultimate target.

Big Brother 24 — About Tonight (Spoilers)

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 4, 2022

Hi, everyone!  You know the deal, by now.  Below, I will be talking about who was voted out this week.  If you don’t know who was voted out and you don’t want to learn until you get a chance to watch tonight’s episode, read no further!

Okay?

Alright.

So, tonight — by a vote of 9-1 — Nicole was evicted from the Big Brother House.  Daniel was the only person to vote to keep Nicole.  Upon leaving the House, Nicole may have told Julie that she knew it was going to happen and that she wasn’t angry but Nicole was lying, at least about the “not being angry” part.  Nicole knew that there was a chance that she was going to be voted out but she never stopped campaigning and, even on the day of the vote, she was still saying that she thought she might have the votes.  She told everyone that she was a cop, thinking that would win their trust.  Unfortunately, for her, Terrence hates cops and once word got around the House that not even Terrence would be voting to keep her, that made it easy for people like Jasmine, Alyssa, and Indy to justify voting to evict her.  No one wanted to be the odd one out.

Daniel was the only vote to evict Taylor.  He knows that he’s in trouble now and, hopefully, he’s finally figured out that there is an actual alliance in the House of which he’s not a part.  At the end of tonight’s episode, Daniel seemed pretty desperate.  While the other houseguests laughed and joked in the kitchen, Daniel paced in a bedroom and kept saying stuff like, “Send me home now.”

As for Nicole, she was also convinced that there would be a battleback and, last night, she told Jasmine that she was sure that she would reenter the House right after being evicted.  Nicole turned out to be wrong about that.  (And, really, with all of the COVID tests that have to be done, I doubt CBS is going to send anyone else into that House for the rest of the season.)  Nicole has also said that she expects that she and Ameerah will be invited to be on The Amazing Race.  I kind of doubt that will happen but we’ll see!

As for Taylor, she’s in a good position now.  After Nicole left, she selected Alyssa and Indy as her new besties.

For now, the feeds are down.  When they come back, we’ll have a new HoH!  If it’s not Daniel, he’s going to be in trouble this week.

Now, with that out of the way, it’s time open up the Diary Room!

Who do you vote to evict this week?

Do you vote for….

TAYLOR, the pageant winner

or

NICOLE, the cop-turned-chef?

Vote either in the poll on the right side of the page or in the comments below!  And then be sure to watch on Thursday night to see who will be voted out!

Happy voting,

Big Brother 24 — Kyle and Alyssa?

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 2, 2022

Hi, everyone!

Well, it had to happen.  After being pursued by Alyssa from basically the minute that they both entered the House, Kyle has finally broken down.  After weeks of telling all of the other guys that he wasn’t attracted to Alyssa and that he would have no problem voting her out, he kissed her yesterday and now, he and Alyssa are the season’s first official showmance!

You know that production is excited.  They love their showmances.

But what does this mean for Kyle’s game?  Kyle is in the Leftovers but Alyssa isn’t.  In fact, Alyssa is a player who the other Leftovers have been talking about voting out pre-jury.  Up until yesterday, Kyle was one of those saying that they needed to vote out Alyssa.  Add to that, Kyle has said many times that he was worried that if his alliance constantly saw him with Alyssa, they would think that he was giving her information.  As of right now, it still seems as if the Leftovers trust Kyle but how long will that last?

Kyle was just talking to Michael about this.  Kyle said that he is head-over-heels for Alyssa, which goes totally against everything that he was saying just three days ago but whatever.  Michael assured Kyle that it wouldn’t be a problem and that everyone trusted Kyle.  What’s interesting is that, during the conversation, they both agreed that they don’t particularly trust Monte, Joseph, and Taylor.  Kyle said he would rather work with just Michael and Brittany.  That shows that Kyle and Michael are already thinking about what’s going to happen when only the Leftovers are left in the Game.  It sounds like we could easily have a 3/3 split with Turner as the swing vote between Joseph/Monte/Taylor and Kyle/Michael/Brittany.

As for what’s going to happen this week, the Leftovers are still planning on voting out Nicole.  Daniel still thinks that Taylor is the target and even Nicole herself seems to be thinking that she might survive.  (She’s convinced that Michael will vote to keep her.)  But make no doubt about it, Nicole is the target this week.

We’ll see what happens!
