Good Morning!
Here’s what is currently happening in the BB14 house. STOP READING if you don’t want to know!!!!
Willie nominated Kevin and Kara for eviction.
Janelle and Britney have teamed up against the other two teams.
All seem to be gunning for Boogie.
Ashley and Danielle are have nots.
The POV competition has not been held.
Britney doesn’t seem to have control of her HOH Willie. He is trying to make a deal with Frank to keep himself safe for next week. Janelle and Britney both want Frank out of the house. IMO, they are right. Boogie’s team needs to be weakened.
Ashley has something wrong with her back and took pain pills. Feeds cut to fish when she seems really sick. Feeds come back, Ashley is laying down.
All players have gone straight into game playing. The women had all the alcohol last night. The men and women are taking turns with drinking. There doesn’t seem to be too much camaraderie in the house yet. I think the show plays better when the contestants interact on a personal level as well as a game level. Hopefully, they will as they get to know each other.
I still don’t like that they brought players back. The whole game centers around the four coaches. They are like puppet masters pulling the strings of the newbies. I don’t know if the newbies will ever find their way out of the shadows.
In the previous comment section, you will see some predictions about the future BB shows. I’m not repeating it here because I don’t have any confirmation, but if that’s true, the show should get interesting. We shall see.

BLOG CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!
Tonight’s premiere of Big Brother left me wanting more and more. When the show ended, I turned to my husband and asked “is that it?” I thought for sure there was going to be some twist or something that we didn’t already know was going to happen. Anyway, here’s your recap.
As usual, the houseguests were sent into the BB house in groups of 4. In past seasons, this was a big deal since there usually aren’t enough beds for all and picking your room, etc. was strategic. Big Brother played this part down and…well and nothing!
When the houseguests introduced themselves, nerdy Ian figured out immediately that Willie was related to Russell Hantz.
The HG’s were told about the “twist” of having four former players coach them. This made them pretty happy because none of them wanted to compete with the former players. As predicted, the four coaches are Dan, Britney, Janelle and Mike Boogie. Each was able to pick their players. The coaches picked up right away that Willie was related to Russell and avoided him in the beginning of the picks. Why, I ask? At least you know he has the drive to win and probably the cunning that Russell has. Like him or not, Russell played to win. Britney ended up with a pretty strong team. She picked Willie and also Shane…two strong, capable guys. Janelle took Wil, with one L. Boogie has Ian the nerd and Frank with the wild hair. Dan ended up with three gals including the forty-something year old Jodi. You see where this is headed, don’t you?
The first HOH competition involved jumping over moving blocks to get a teddy bear and getting it back to the start. The coach of the first team to finish gets to pick HOH. WHAT? The coach gets to pick the HOH. I’m NOT liking this plan…not at all. I’m old fashioned. The player who wins should be HOH. Period. Then to make it even worse, Julie announces that the coach of the team who finishes last will pick one player to be evicted immediately. Nope, I’m not liking this idea.
If you can’t put two and two together, Britney’s team with Willie and Shane wins the HOH competition. Britney picks Willie to be the first HOH. Death sentence or a good thing? We shall see. The last team to finish is Dan’s and he has to pick the player to be evicted. Of course, Dan picks the older woman. Older women do not have much of a chance on these kinds of shows. So Jodi comes in one door and very quickly is out that same door.
No clues are given to us about the future competitions and how they will be played. I’m hoping that the coaches don’t have as large a role in the Big Brother game as they did tonight. I like when players play the game and win or lose. That’s the point isn’t it?
I was expecting something more—another twist perhaps? But, there wasn’t any. At first glance, some of the players are standing out as strong competition. Surprisingly WIl, with one L seems like a contender. If Ian can survive the physical competitions, I think he’ll be interesting to watch down the line too. Then of course, Willie is going to wreak havoc on the house (I hope!). I didn’t really see one female stand out above all the rest yet. I’ll reserve my opinion for a later date.

Well, I just spent an hour watching The Talk because Julie Chen said she was going to reveal “the twist” at the end of the show. The Talk hostesses went into the Big Brother house and played a mock game similar to what the media did a week or two ago. Can you say…boring? Anyway at the very end, I’m waiting and waiting and Julie announces that there will be 12 new HG’s and 4 returning HG’s. She also announces that the four returning HG’s will be playing a separate game. THIS is news???
I think I’ll go take a nap, so I’m wide awake tonight at 9:00 p.m. EST. Enjoy the premier. I’m sure BBBlogger will be along soon to tell you about his BB Chat party. Bloggergal

(SIGH…sure am gonna miss them!!) 😉

By the way, I am going to say that WIL is going to be one of the final 3 this season. (I have a feeling!) How is THAT for a bold statement. I mean…come on…he has BALLS to pull of the green speedo in the swim suit pic…so I say he will flourish this year! 🙂
Lastly, just so you know, I posted on FB and Twitter that CHIMA was returning…it was just a joke. We all know that Mike, Dan, Janelle and Brittney are the 4 returning house guests right? Been saying it for a while now…and from the “leaks” it looks to be true. Although I have a hard time believing any rumors or leaks anymore…hell…I said in a joke post on fb about CHIMA and people were thinking it was true. Ah the power of the internet! 🙂
So, relax today and know the crazy summer addiction we call Big Brother starts TOMORROW!

Just a quick update. CBS has just grayed out two more HG’s from returning to the Big Brother 14 house. So far we know that Dr. Will, Evel Dick, Natalie, Howie, Kaysar and Danielle will NOT be returning to the BB14 house this season. Everyone seems to think that the four returning HG’s are Janelle, Dan, Britney and Mike Boogie, but who are these “everyone” and how come they think they know more than the rest of us? Those who are still in the running besides the four mentioned above are Rachel, Enzo, Jeff, Jesse, Ragan and Renny. Anyway, not much longer to wait now..just two more days until BB14 premieres! Don’t forget the sneak peak at the BB14 house on The View earlier in the day on Thursday.
Speaking of Ragan, just a quick aside. I asked him in the spring if he would be attending Reality Rally in Temecula California and he replied to me that there is more to life than Reality TV. Since Reality Rally is a breast cancer resource center fundraiser, I was hurt by his reply. If he ends up back on BB, he’ll be hearing from ME that’s for sure!

Wow. Remember when this week seemed so far away. I believe it was shortly after the finale last season and after the wrap up of the season that was Big Brother 13! We kept logging in to see if anything had changed and happened and sadly no. Nothing until Big Brother 14. Well, good news people! We are at that point. Big Brother 14 starts this week and BBBlogger has so much for you it is SICK! Here is what we are doing this year…

2. Back by popular demand I am once again launching a Big Brother Chat room. I have decided that the flash chat is not worth the pain on the server and the time out issues are annoying to say the least. I sure wish we were going to just have a house full of “newbies”. I don’t understand why BB feels that they have to constantly recycle house guests. Oh well…just a few more days now to have ALL revealed. Hopefully BB14 will start out with a big bang and not a whimper!

Even though CBS is asking you to vote, what they are really asking you is to “guess”. They have already picked the four returning players. According to the site, every day one of the players will be taken off the page with the final four remaining at the end.
I just want to say, that I would bet a good amount of $$ on the fact that Big Brother is bringing back Rachel Reilly. No, I don’t have any inside information. Rachel brings out everyone’s hate, love and DRAMA…who else does it better than her? Well, ED does, but he has a lot of irons in the fire and I don’t think he will return.
My next guess would be for Mike Boogie. I think this guy likes to show up every now and then so his restaurants stay popular.
Not sure about the other two, but the Internet seems to think its going to be Janelle and Dan.

Happy 4th of July all!!! I hope you are enjoying your day.
First, let me tell you something about the new sub-division where I live in Georgia. The cable, Internet and phone are parts of our HOA amenity package and are all connected. So why am I mentioning this? Well, on Friday, the Gas Company cut a fiber optic line and the entire area lost phone, Internet and TV. Unfortunately, if this happens again (and it may–we are having our difficulties!) I won’t have a way to stay in touch. So…if I seem to be missing…that’s why.
Second, I haven’t gotten around to reading all the comments on the Spoilers or No Spoilers Blog, but I know from JT’s count that we will be releasing Spoilers and I will try to get a new blog on here everyday. I’ll try…I swear…LOL. I also will make sure to mark the spoilers in case someone doesn’t want to read them, but that’s going to be hard for you “someone” because all the comment-ers will be talking about it!
So I’m guessing that everyone has had a chance to view the “teaser” video giving us our first taste of the Big Brother HG’s, right? I saw Shane (a house flipper), Kara (a model), JoJo (a bartender), Will (a marketing consultant), Danielle (a nurse), Willie (a tankerman), Jodi (a restaurant server), Jen (a musician) and Mike (a sailing instructor). That’s nine HG’s–see JT–I can count! Some immediately obvious stuff: Will has Fabio-style hair. Jen is our newest tattoo gal. Willie is Russell Hantz’s brother. That Hantz family sure is learning how to cash in on Reality TV, aren’t they? The gals are pretty. The guys are all over the map. Did I miss anything?
Tomorrow, July 5th is a big day. The BB14 House Guest press release will be launched. The CBS website will be updated to include the cast with photos and bios. July 7th is the day that the cast will move into the Big Brother house. July 11th is the last day you are able to sign up for the full season of Big Brother 14 live feeds for a 25% discount. July 12th is The Talk Big Brother 14 preview show. And of course…drum roll please…July 12th is also the night that Big Brother 14 premieres!
