The Quack Pack ducks and Jenn is Evicted!

by BBBlogger on September 13, 2012

Even though we are far past last night’s show, here’s the recap. Julie interrupted the house guests to tell them that “surprise, surprise!” the eviction would be in a little while and then the HOH competition would be held. This happened on Tuesday.

As the house guests prepared for the live (taped) show, we watch the POV. At this point, Ian is the HOH. Nominated for eviction are Shane and Jenn. Dan and Danielle are the other two remaining HG’s. All will play for the POV. Those of you that watched The Glass House this summer know that CBS totally ripped off one of their games for this POV competition. It involved jumping from one platform to another while putting a puzzle together. To try to disguise the game, CBS used timers to make it seem different. As we all know by now, Shane won the POV.

It really bothered me to see Ian trailing after Dan into one of the rooms after the POV ceremony. Dan sure does spread that “mist” that Britney was talking about. Deep down, I keep hoping that instead of Dan “playing” Ian that Ian has some incredible plan and he is “playing” Dan. A girl can dream, can’t she?

Along with winning the POV, Shane received a luxury prize. He had the opportunity to leave the BB House to attend an Olympic Gymnastics performance and he was able to take one HG with him. He chooses Danielle. They have a cute first date, but I can’t help wondering if he’s playing along for the cameras and for his game. Actually, I really think that’s what he is doing. I wonder if they had the opportunity to talk game or if BB prohibited them from doing so? No game talk during the date was shown.

At least Shane was smart enough to use the POV on himself. Ian had to nominate another HG and he nominates Danielle. That means that either Jenn or Danielle will be evicted. Ian is an idiot for not putting up Dan. I keep trying to figure out his thought process on this, but I can’t. All he had to do was get Shane and Jenn on board with a separate alliance. Ian is stubborn and is sticking to the Quack Pack to the bitter end and I do mean bitter!

After reading Ian’s HOH blog, I think I understand Ian a little better, but that doesn’t mean I agree with him. He goes on and on about his creating the best alliance in BB history with the Quack Pack. Evidently, this was something he thought about and planned for quite awhile before entering the BB house. However, he is sacrificing himself at the expense of saving his Quack Pack. Silly, silly boy. He really believes that it is him and Dan (Renegades) against Danielle and Shane (Showmance). I don’t think this whole Dan playing such an evil game would bother me that much if it wasn’t for Ian. Ian has had to overcome a lot in his life and I just hate to see him not win this. I don’t understand how Dan can be so cruel as to lead this kid (because that’s what he is–a kid) on.

It was interesting to see Jenn speaking out against Dan. She didn’t seem to be taken in by the mist. Now, this doesn’t mean that the other HG’s don’t have reservations about Dan. It means that the producers haven’t shown us if they do or not. It’s all in the editing baby!

With a vote of 2 to 0, Jenn is evicted from the BB House. Since the eviction was a surprise, she doesn’t get House Guest goodbyes. Julie surprises her with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich since she was eating slop for weeks. She immediately begins wolfing it down. If you are a BB diehard you know that before slop the HG’s would get “punished” with only being able to eat peanut butter and jelly.

Let’s move on to the HOH competition. I had questioned this and we were receiving conflicting opinions, but Ian was NOT able to compete. Not being able to compete in this competition really puts a crimp in his game, not to mention that it was a memory one and he would have slayed the competition. The HG’s had to remember pictures that they had seen earlier in the day. Julie would read a statement and they had to decide if it was True or False. Dan and Danielle tied and had to play a tie breaker. I hate those tie breakers because they really are just one big guess. Danielle played it smart and picked a very low number hoping that Dan would go over and that is exactly what he did! Danielle becomes the new HOH and thus secures her place in the Final Three.

That’s it for the television show, now onto the spoilers (she says while rubbing her hands together with glee!). Danielle now has to choose who will be put on the block, her boyfriend or her coach. It doesn’t really matter much because the winner of the POV will hold all the power this week. She puts Ian against Dan. The POV competition is held and guess who wins? Danielle! I know, right? LOL

Now once again all the power is in Danielle’s hands. She will choose who secures the second place in the final three. That player will cast the lone vote for who will be evicted and who will have the third place in the final three. Simple, leave the nominations the way they are and throw the ball into Shane’s court, right? Wrong. Danielle is now considering removing Dan from the block and putting Shane up so that Dan is the one to have “blood on his hands”. What??? I really want Ian to be part of the final three, but I also don’t want to see Danielle play right into Dan’s hands. So I’m torn. You see if she does pull Dan down, word on the street is he will keep Ian and evict Shane. Most likely this is because there will be an endurance competition and he thinks he has a better shot against Ian than Shane. In endurance, I personally think Danielle, Shane OR Ian are likely to beat Dan.

We are almost at the end of this BB season. I can tell because it’s getting a little chilly at night here in Georgia. Next Wednesday is the BB14 finale. Then we move on to Survivor! Bloggergal

xxoo Happy Birthday JT!!! xxoo

Big Brother Spoilers

by BBBlogger on September 11, 2012

A quick SPOILER blog to give you a clean page to comment on.

The Live Feeds are down and aren’t expected to come back until after tomorrow’s TV Show. The eviction was held today and the live studio audience reports that Jenn was evicted by a vote of 2 to 0.

The HOH competition was held. As far as I can tell, Ian was not allowed to compete. Dan and Danielle ended up tied and Danielle won the tie breaker. She is now the HOH and guaranteed Final Three. Easy to predict that Danielle will want to keep Shane and Dan and evict Ian. The only hope Ian has now is to win POV. Won’t it be fun if he does and then Danielle has to choose between her coach and her boyfriend (at least in her mind)?

Ian Once Again Controls the BB14 House

by BBBlogger on September 10, 2012

Last night’s Big Brother show gave us the opportunity to watch the goings on during the double eviction. When Dan won the HOH, he immediately targeted Ian. Everyone was on board to get Ian out of the house, but as we know, Ian won the POV. Dan then wanted to evict Shane, but Shane’s stalker Danielle talked Dan out of it. Dan ended up replacing Ian with Danielle so that Joe would be voted out of the house.

So now this whole game comes down to what is Ian thinking. Ian knows that Dan put him on the block. I don’t think he was convinced he was on the block as a pawn. Ian also clearly saw that Dan protected Jenn by not putting her up against Joe.

I think we have all come to believe that Shane is just hanging out in the BB house with very little game play. That could be true, but even though he doesn’t seem to “love” Danielle, he still has her caught in his net. She saved him during the double eviction. Could this be his plan or is it just dumb luck?

Danielle will very soon have to choose which of her alliance she really trusts. Will she stick with Shane or will she follow behind Dan? From a non-game standpoint, who would you choose? Yep, you betcha…Shane.

Of all the house guests, Jenn seems to be the most clearheaded. She sees that Dan is manipulating the game. Of course, she’s helpless to fight against him.

What can I possibly say about Dan? He is the consummate BB player. Don’t forget that none of the HG’s that vote on jury will see how Dan manipulated everyone until after the game ends. He definitely would be on the “evil” team in a good versus evil show. When he threatened Ian before the vote that he would “rip his head off”, Ian should have heard alarms ringing in his head.

We were able to see the HOH competition on the TV show last night also. This competition involved knowing what day certain things happened. Yep, this was a no-brainer for our photographic memory man Ian, but there was a catch. Instead of writing the number down, the HG’s had to roll a ball into the correct slot. Fortunately for Ian, he was pretty good at this. The winner of the HOH came down to either Ian or Shane, with Ian winning. After watching the whole show, I would have rather seen Shane win this HOH. He definitely would have gone after his buddy Dan because Danielle told him that Dan wanted to target him during the double eviction.

As mentioned in my previous blog, Dan talks Ian out of putting him onto the block. Instead, Ian nominates Jenn and Shane. He tells them that the Veto will decide all, which is pretty much true.

We also know from the previous spoiler that Shane wins the POV and will pull himself off the block. This is Ian’s chance to get rid of his biggest competitor and backdoor Dan. If he doesn’t get that accomplished this week, I’m thinking that Dan is going to walk away with the money once again. I’m pretty sure that Shane would vote Dan out so even if Danielle doesn’t vote for Dan to be evicted, the final vote would be up to Ian. Ian will win Big Brother if he gets Dan out of the house on Thursday.

IMO, if Ian does not put Dan on the block, he doesn’t deserve to win Big Brother. It’s do or die Ian…please don’t let us down!

Happy Monday all! Bloggergal

Big Brother 14 Sunday Update

by BBBlogger on September 9, 2012

All of this blog is spoilers – so skip it if you want to learn as you watch the TV show.

When we last left BB14, both Frank and Joe had been evicted from the Big Brother house. Since Dan was the last HOH, he was not able to compete for HOH. The HOH competition was held off the Live Feeds. It will be shown on the TV show tonight. As we all know by now, Ian pulled off his second HOH win.

We are now down to the Quack Pack…Ian, Dan, Danielle and Shane and lone duck…Jenn. Ian decides to put up Shane and Jenn. Who is the target? Well, that depends on which BB house guest is lying.

The Veto competition is held and Shane wins! Now, Shane SHOULD pull himself off the block. Believe it or not, Dan tries to talk him into NOT coming down. He tells Shane he has the votes to remain in the game. Luckily, Shane doesn’t fall for this, but I have to admit, I was scared for a second there!

I have no idea who Ian is going to put up in Shane’s place. I’m sure you are all sitting at home screaming at your screen for Ian to backdoor Dan. Dan has asked Ian a ton of times if they are definitely in a Final 2 alliance. Ian actually gets irritated and tells Dan I told you a ton of times Yes. I’m surprised that Ian is planning to go this way. He’s watched the show, why would he want to take Dan to the end with him? Anyone of the others would be a better choice. I doubt that Dan will take the chance of bringing Ian to the Final Two. Ian is really the only other one with a chance to win this game.

So stay tuned to see what Ian does….Bloggergal

Big Brother 14 Holds Another Double Eviction

by BBBlogger on September 7, 2012

Good Morning! Did anyone stay up last night to watch the aftermath of the second HOH competition? More on that later.

Julie started out this episode of Big Brother announcing that it was again a Double Eviction week. The live votes for evicting either Frank or Joe was quick to follow. The vote was 3 (Shane, Danielle and Dan) to 1 (Jenn) to evict Frank. He handled it pretty good, but admitted to Julie that he was upset with Dan. Dan keeps mowing them down one after another.

The HOH competition was questions and answers. Ian must have been so upset that he couldn’t play. Dan pulls off the win. This scared the heck out of me because I knew that all day Dan was planting the idea of putting Ian and Joe on the block. Sure enough that’s what happens. Dan nominates Joe and Ian for eviction.

Since there are only six house guests left, all get to play in the POV. The POV was a long puzzle/maze. You had to move your shark the correct way through the puzzle to the end. The first one wins POV. Thank goodness this was Ian. You go Ian!!! Of course, Ian saves himself and Dan has to put up a replacement nominee. Before the POV ceremony we get to see Dan scurrying around first talking to Jenn and then Ian. Danielle is trying to catch him, but he shakes her off. He replaces Ian with Danielle. That’s when I realized that he was asking Ian and Jenn who they were going to vote for if Danielle was up against Joe.

The live vote is next. Ian, Shane and Jenn vote to evict Joe. Well, Joe, you had a good run didn’t you? It was funny when Julie asked him if he was deliberately throwing competitions to keep the target off his back. He laughingly agreed with Julie, but then admitted that he tried his best to win competition after competition and he just couldn’t do it.

That was it for the live TV show. I don’t have much in the way of spoilers because I haven’t had a chance to catch up yet. Here’s what I know for sure. Ian wins HOH again! I couldn’t be happier. I so want to see him win this BB game over Dan. I just can’t stand the thought of Dan winning the money again. From what I read, Ian first wanted to put up Dan and Jenn. Of course, Dan talks Ian out of it…there’s that Dan mist again. He is going to put up Shane and Jenn. If nominations stay the same through the POV, Dan and Danielle have the deciding votes. I would assume that Dan wants Shane out, but what will Danielle do? Will she vote to evict her boyfriend/snuggle buddy? This should be interesting.

The other question is who does Dan want to take to the final two? I would have tried to keep Joe. Could it be that he has his sights on keeping Jenn? He did say something to Danielle about Memphis, so maybe he feels that Danielle is his Memphis this time. The bad thing is that because Ian won HOH, he won’t be eligible for the next HOH. That’s right isn’t it? I’m remembering that everyone gets to play when we reach the final three, not the final four. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Have a great day all! Bloggergal

See what I did there? I slipped in a Joe VS the volcano reference. What? Too soon??

So this week we have Joe on the block as a renominated player against the hated Frank who is a strong player even if he has “Little Orphan Annie” hair! (wonder what conditioner he uses!)

So is the quack pack back Jack? Is Frank gone and now in the jury? Are Joes floating days over? In just a few short hours we will know for sure…but it really does not matter what happens tonight.

What really matters is what you, the faithful readers of Big Brother Blog think. So I am opening the door of the diary room and summoning you to VOTE to EVICT either Joe or Frank! Who do you vote for? Cast it now in the comments below!

Peace, BBBlogger

Who Won the POV Last Night on BB14?

by BBBlogger on September 6, 2012

Last night’s Big Brother show highlighted the Veto competition and ceremony. Since Jenn and Frank are on the block, they play automatically, as well as Ian. The other three chosen by random draw were Dan, Danielle and Joe. Shane was the only HG to sit this one out. This was on OTEV type competition. In case you don’t know, OTEV is VETO spelled backwards. In past BB, OTEV was a God-like statue that would ask questions. The HG’s would have to know the answer and dig through some kind of mess to find the correct answer. Then they would have to climb a ramp and place it before OTEV. The last person to return would be eliminated. This competition had the same premise except this time OTEV was an alien that needed corn to fuel his spaceship. The final duo was Frank and Dan. Dan was hoping that Frank would throw the win to him, but, for once, Frank was smart enough to realize that the only way HE would be safe is to win. Unfortunately, he didn’t win and Dan now holds the Power of Veto.

Question for all you BB fanatics. Did anyone else realize that the alien said “The Golden Power of Veto” and not just the Power of Veto? If this has been discussed in the comment section, I apologize. I haven’t had the opportunity to read the comments yet. At first I thought it was just a slip-up, but then the alien said it again. There is a difference between the two isn’t there or has it always been referred to as the Golden Power of Veto? I had to take my migraine medications so maybe I’m just a little loopy!

So anyway, Dan decides to use the Power of Veto on Jenn since she used it on him last week. Poor gullible Frank is FOR this idea because he knows that if Dan uses the Veto on him, their secret alliance would be revealed. I wonder how long Frank thinks he could be in a secret alliance with only 7 people in the game? Dan uses the veto on Jenn and Ian puts up Joe as the replacement nominee since he agreed that both Danielle and Shane would be safe this week. Poor gullible Frank thinks that Joe will be voted off and he will stay. Poor gullible Frank .

Throughout this whole episode, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for Frank. He is just so gullible. After what happened to Mike Boogie, you would think he’d smarten up. But, alas, Britney is correct…Dan spreads a “mist” and you are forever under his spell. The same goes for Ian when it comes to Dan. I really think Ian should win this game because he is there for all the right reasons. He is not interested in celebrity status, he needs the money. But, more than needing the money, Ian LOVES the Big Brother game and is playing out a dream. Dan too loves the Big Brother game. He is the master manipulator and I’m continuously amazed at how he manages to get everything to work exactly as he wants it to. My only problem with Dan is that he has already won Big Brother and I don’t think he should have even had the opportunity to be in this particular BB season. What I would like to see is a Big Brother ALL Stars with ONLY BB winners. Let us find out who truly is the best BB player ever.

Danielle just gets more and more annoying as time goes on. Did anyone notice that when she was doing here DR session, she was saying “I”. For instance, “I need to get Frank out of this house.” “I have been trying to get Frank out for weeks.” Danielle needs to learn some humility. Oh wait, she will learn when either her boyfriend or her coach vote her out of the BB game!

Tonight’s episode is a double eviction once again. It should be a great show. Get those DVR’s going!!!

Have a great day all. Bloggergal

Ian Finally Gets His Turn in the BB14 HOH Room

by BBBlogger on September 3, 2012

Last night’s Big Brother show did provide some insight into what’s going on in the BB house. It seems that Ian realizes (and accepts) that the only way Dan could save himself was to throw Britney and Ian under the bus. I think because Ian is such a die-hard BB fan, he realizes that this was an epic move, even though it hurt his personal game. So, it seems that Ian has no hard feelings when it comes to Dan. In fact, Ian wants the Quack Pack back in full force. That means Dan, Danielle, Shane and Ian are in an alliance. Of course, Dan is still in an alliance with Frank and Jenn. He’s making sure he has all his bases covered.

I’ll summarize the HOH competition again really quickly. Joe fell off at 2 minutes (LOL) and Jenn at 5 minutes (double LOL). Danielle was really dizzy from spinning personally in circles as well as around in a big circle. She had to jump off and frankly, I understand. I wouldn’t have made it very long either. Dan was next to succumb, leaving Shane and Ian the last two men standing. Shane was hurting and so he asked all the HG’s to go inside so he could talk to Ian in private. After insuring that he and Danielle were save, he jumped off. Ian became the new HOH.

Ian’s intelligence is fun to watch. He is so matter of fact about all he knows, he doesn’t realize that others are looking at him with dropped jaws! Will any of us ever forget that the element Bismuth is an ingredient in Pepto Bismol? Wouldn’t you love to have Ian with you at a Trivia contest?

Now don’t shudder, I have to talk about Pandora’s Box. When Ian opened the box, the room was set up like Christmas. There was a Christmas tree with lots of presents. Ian was told that if he opened Pandora’s box, he would receive all the gifts. Ian opened Pandora’s Box. He received a lot of cool “Ian-type” gifts including a telescope, Legos, a blow-up alligator, etc. When he saw all his nice gifts, he knew that the other HG’s probably were not having any fun downstairs! In the meanwhile, downstairs, when what to my wondering eyes should appear, but Jesse in a Speedo, Santa hat and vest (no cheers!). The man is overly buff–you know, like the Pillsbury Dough Boy. Jesse also has a Christmas bag of presents, however, these were all healthy snacks. After Jesse gives out his gifts, he proceeds to remove ALL the junk food from the house. As you could imagine, our noshing HG’s were not happy. However, I was. The Big Brother house is becoming more and more like a vacation house. Let the players suffer a bit!

At one point, Ian had almost convinced himself to put up Joe and Jenn instead of Frank. He was thinking like I was…that Frank can’t become HOH this week so there is no rush to get him out. Dan was concerned about this and said that they may need two tries to get Frank out. Ian ends up putting Frank and Jenn on the block. Is there a chance that Frank can save himself once again from eviction? I didn’t think Dan could save himself last week, so, yeah, I guess there is.

Have a great Labor Day everyone! Bloggergal

Sunday Morning Big Brother Spoilers

by BBBlogger on September 2, 2012

Good Morning!

The POV was held yesterday and who came out of the woodwork and pulled off the win? Yep, Dan. Hmm, you can win when you want to right Dan?

I caught a part of the conversation between Dan and Ian running different scenarios to get the best use out of the POV and further their game. The most likely scenario is that Dan is going to pull Jenn off the block to show her he is grateful for her pulling him off last week. Ian will replace her with Joe and Frank will go home. Dan and Ian were talking about taking Jenn to the final three (huh?). Another option was that Dan would talk to Joe and tell Joe that he won’t use the POV if Joe guarantees he won’t be put up next week. Dan is worried that Joe will get HOH and put him up next week? (huh?)

Well, lets dream a minute or two. It would be pretty funny if Joe does win HOH next. Assuming Frank is voted off, Joe then puts up Dan and Shane or Dan and Ian. Dan gets evicted. Remaining in the BB house is Shane, Ian, Joe, Jenn and Danielle. I can dream, can’t I?

How many HG’s has Dan made final two or three deals with? He definitely told that to Danielle, Frank, Ian and Jenn. Did he tell Shane and Joe the same thing? So much going on in there, I can’t remember!

Okay, back to the real world. Frank has more than likely run out of lives this week. If Dan saves him, it won’t help Dan at all in the short run because Frank can’t play for HOH. Saving Frank would definitely put a huge target on his back.

Shall we bring up Danielle? Maybe spending all that time locked up in the BB house and taking pain medication is affecting her brain cells. As you all have mentioned, the gal is off her rocker. I actually feel sorry for her because she’s going to be sorely disappointed after getting out of the BB house.

I too watched Britney and Jeff’s interview. They really should make her the co-host of that with Jeff. They have a good rapport. I would be just as happy to see Britney doing the interviews herself. When Jeff asked Britney if she was interested in a career in the entertainment field, she really seemed to not be, most likely because her life is with her husband…not in Hollywood.

I’m going to see the Atlanta Braves/Phillies game today. My son is in from San Diego 🙂 Have a great Labor Day Sunday all. Get away from your computers and go DO something fun! Bloggergal

Saturday Big Brother 14 Update

by BBBlogger on September 1, 2012

This Big Brother season is unique. It’s the first time that I can honestly say I have no idea when a player is being honest and when a player is saying the truth. Some of the players are just so dumb they probably don’t remember what they are saying and it looks like they are lying.

Nominations were held last night and I am about to reveal who Ian nominated. Ready? Set? Go!

Ian nominated Frank and Jenn. Not a surprise since this is what he said he was going to do from the beginning. His plan is to put up Joe as a replacement nominee if either Jenn or Frank win the POV. Also, last night, the HG’s were chosen for the POV competition. The only one not playing is Shane. Ian told Dan that if Joe or Danielle wins the POV and takes down Jenn, Dan would be on the block. If Dan wins POV and removes one of the nominees the other would be evicted. So in other words, Dan can save Frank and “Judas” Jenn, or vice versa.

I got a kick out of a conversation between Dan and Ian last night. Dan asked Ian what he planned to do in the future relating to having been on Big Brother and Ian said that he planned to attend charity events. He specifically mentioned my favorite charity event Reality Rally! So hopefully, I will get to meet Ian in April.

A hilarious (IMO) bit was when Danielle told Shane that she’s worried that guys will want to date her after BB because she’s a celebrity now! OMG…her ego is ridiculous.

It’s Labor Day weekend. Rest, relax and enjoy yourself! Say adios to summer and hola to autumn! Bloggergal xxoo
