Hi everyone!

So, it occurred to me that some of our readers might have missed tonight’s Double Eviction episode because of the whole fight between Time Warner Cable and CBS.  So, for all of you who missed it, here’s a complete rundown of what happened on tonight’s show.

(Needless to say, if you’re on the West Coast, this entire post might count as being a spoiler so read with caution.)

8:01 pm — We start with Julie Chen, telling us that we’re about to have a double eviction night and that the houseguests don’t know that there’s even more surprises in store.

This is followed by previously on Big Brother.  We get to see Candice and Amanda fight again.

Julie tells us that this is “the biggest night of the summer.”  She also says that “tonight the jury begins.”

But first, it’s flashback time:

We again sit through Jessie taking herself off the block and GM nominating Spencer.  In the DR, Candice says that people are turning against Amanda.  Amanda complains about the “anonymous MVP” and says, “It’s time to play nice Amanda.”

We watch Amanda telling Jessie that she wants to be friends.  In the DR, Jessie says she doesn’t believe Amanda is sincere.

Amanda has a meting with Judd, McCrae, and Andy.  We learn that they have a final four deal.  Judd tells Amanda not to have any more emotional outbursts.  Amanda looks annoyed.

Candice talks to Elissa about how Amanda and McCrae are dangerous.  They’re joined by Jessie.  They talk about how much they hate Amanda.

In the bathroom, Jessie talks to Helen about voting out Amanda.

In the Diary Room, Helen says, “This would be the biggest move in the game and I can’t do it without all my allies onboard.”

Jessie talks to Judd about voting out Amanda.

In the Diary Room, Judd says he has to cover all his bases.

Helen talks to Andy in the storage room.  Helen says she’s up for huge moves but she doesn’t want to do anything unless Andy is onboard.  Andy tells Helen not to vote out Amanda.

In the Diary Room, Andy says that Amanda is his biggest ally in the house.

The next day, Helen talks (and talk) to Candice and Jessie.  Candice says everyone is crazy if they don’t vote out Amanda.  Helen tells them that she doesn’t have any “clout in the house.”  Helen talks and talks.  “Amanda has not done me any any wrong,” Helen says but she also says that she’s waiting until the House wants to vote Amanda out.

Back to Julie.  She talks to the Houseguests.  Helen tells them that the jury will be made up of 9 houseguests.  The houseguests pretend to be excited.  Julie then tells them that is a double eviction.  Julie says, “Just because you’re on the jury doesn’t necessarily mean you’re out of the game.” Aaryn looks confused.

Candice gives her final speech.  Candice tells off Gina Marie.  Gina Marie starts going: “Stop, stop!”  GM holds up Nick’s hat.  Julie has lost control.

Spencer finally starts his speech.  He says hi to his family and tells someone to enjoy school.

Amanda says “Hi, mom and dad,” and asks to be kept in the house.

McCrae votes for Candice.

Aaryn votes for “Candice the Clown.”

Helen votes for “my boo, Candice.”

Jessie votes for Candice.

Julie says its official, Candice will be leaving.

Elissa votes for Candice.

Andy hops into the Diary Room and enthusiastically votes to evict Candice.

Judd runs into the Diary Room.  Votes to evict Candice.

Julie tells us that Candice has been voted out but since she’s a juror, Julie won’t be able to give her any “news or feedback from the outside world.”

Julie tells the HGs that Candice has been voted out.

Candice throws her clown wig on the floor, hugs everyone, and leaves.  Gina Marie shouts that her mom didn’t want her as Candice leaves the house.  (At least that’s what I think GM said.)

Julie talks to Candice.  Candice and Julie talk about some of the racist comments made in the house.  Candice says that it was difficult not to stand up for herself but “I stayed true to myself.”

And we go to commercial.

8:24 — And we’re back!

The new Head of Household Competition is taking place in the backyard.  It’s a question-and-answer competition.  Julie will ask them questions about the number of things in the house.  Each HG can answer with either “more” or “less.”  For example, Julie might ask, “There are 10 chairs in the have-not bedroom,” and then the HGs would answer with either “more” or “less.”  Get an answer wrong and you’re eliminated from the competition.  The last HG standing becomes the new HOH.

Elissa is eliminated on the first question.

Andy and Jessie are eliminated on the 2nd question.

Nobody is eliminated on the 3rd question.

On the 4th question, everyone gets it wrong except for Aaryn who wins HoH for the 3rd time!  GM hugs her.

Julie says that we return from commercial, she’s going to reveal “news about the MVP twist.”

And we go to commercial.

8:30 — And we’re back.

In the house, Aaryn is talking to McCrae, Andy, Spencer, and Amanda.  They’re telling Aaryn to nominate Jessie and Spencer.  Despite being the only person to have won multiple HoHs, Aaryn seems incapable of actually being Head of Household.  Aaryn looks incredibly stressed.

Julie calls everyone into the living room.  Julie tells them that the MVP twist is officially over but she doesn’t tell them that America was MVP.  Lisa curses at the TV as Amanda cheers.  Lisa starts to wonder if maybe — just maybe — this game is being rigged in Amanda’s favor.

(Yes, this does mean that — from now on — only two people will be nominated for eviction.)

Aaryn nominates Jessie and Spencer.

We go to commercial.

8:37 pm — We’re back and we’re ready to play the MVP.

Andy, Judd, Amanda, Spencer, Jessie, and Aaryn will be playing for the Power of Veto.  The competition is called Nailed It.  Basically, they have to grab a bunch of over-sized nails from a tool box and use them to put together a puzzle.  Aaryn easily wins the veto.  Seriously, nobody else comes close.

As we go to commercial, we see Helen hugging Aaryn and, no doubt, telling her that she’s a special little snowflake.

We go to commercial.

8:45 pm — And we’re back.

Judd is talking to Amanda, McCrae, and Andy.  It looks like he’s saying that he never did something.

In the living room, Helen is talking to Aaryn,  “Do it!” Helen tells her in that Helen-like way of hers.

McCrae is hugging Amanda and sobbing, for some reason.

Julie calls all the HGs into the living room “right now!”

Aaryn takes Jessie off the block and puts Judd in her place.  Aaryn says that Judd has been playing everyone in the house.  Aaryn says she has to do it or she’ll go home.

The audience, by the way, was heard to groan when Judd was nominated.  (Fortunately, Judd is wearing his bear shirt.)

We go to commercial, perhaps so we can think about how the whole MVP twist basically screwed Judd over for absolutely no good reason.

8:51 pm — We’re back.  I’m trying not to yell too loudly at the TV because I am seriously annoyed with both the producers and the houseguests right now.

Spencer says don’t vote me out.

Judd says that he didn’t play anyone and he asks everyone to vote how they want to and not how they’re being told to vote.

Aaryn looks like she’s about to have a nervous breakdown.

Jessie is sobbing.

Amanda votes first.  Amanda votes to evict Judd.

McCrae votes “sadly to evict Judd.”

GM comes in.  GM fights tear as she votes to evict Judd.

Andy’s voice cracks as he votes to evict Judd.

“It’s official, Judd will be leaving,” Julie says.

Helen happily says that she votes to evict Judd.

Elissa fights back tears as she votes for Judd.

Jessie votes to evict Judd.  She fights back tears.

Only Helen acted happy about her vote.  That will be remembered by many viewers.

Julie tells Judd that he’s been evicted.  Judd hugs everyone.  He says “Good luck” as he leaves.

Outside the house, the audience goes wild for Judd.

Inside the house, everyone is crying.  Andy hugs Spencer.  Helen grabs Aaryn and starts going, “That was so humongous!”

Outside, Julie talks to Judd.  Julie seems to be confused as to why Judd was voted out.  Judd says, “I don’t know what happened!”  At this point, I yell at the TV, “It’s because you people screwed up that stupid MVP twist, JULIE!  YOU OWE THAT MAN $500,000!”

Julie tells us to watch next week.  For the record, she does not mention the reset button.

Back in the BB house, Helen is talking to GM.  Amanda is staring blankly at the floor.

And so, the double eviction episode ends.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — Tonight’s The Night

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 8, 2013

Hi, everyone:

Well, tonight’s the night.

Who knows what’s going to happen with the double eviction?

Who out of the current three nominees will be voted out?

Will it be Candice, the girl who has been labeled a threat despite not doing anything threatening?

Will it be Amanda, the girl that more and more people are loving to hate?

Or will it be Spencer, the most disgusting human being on the planet?

As of right now, it looks like it’s going to be Candice.

But, as far as I’m concerned, I’m voting for Spencer!

Seriously, he is sooooooo icky.  BLEH!

Who do you want to see go?  And what do you think will happen with the double eviction?

More importantly, will there even be a double eviction?

Yesterday, Julie tweeted out a picture of the Reset Button.  Last season, the four coaches (Dan, Mike Boogie, Britney, and Janelle) were all given the chance to press the reset button, which literally reset the game.  The coaches became players and, most importantly, nobody was evicted that week.

So, does that mean that we’re going to see the reset button tonight?  That’s what a lot of people online are thinking.  But how would that work?  If someone pressed the reset button, would that cancel both evictions?  Or would that just cancel the first eviction?

It wouldn’t surprise me to see the reset button show up in the house at some point in the future but I’ll be surprised to see it tonight.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — Long Day’s Journey Into Thursday

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 7, 2013

Hi everyone!

Well, it still looks like Candice is going to be evicted tomorrow night but guess what?  She’s going to get to be a part of the jury!  It was officially announced today that this season will have a 9-person jury and that the first two members of the jury will be the two houseguests voted out during tomorrow’s double eviction.

This has the potential to shake up the game because now, houseguests are going to have to start thinking about the fact that the people that they betray and upset are now going to be in a position to decide who wins the game.  Will this effect the way that people play the game?  Or will people just continue to run around like toadsuckers without a strategy?

As for tonight’s show, we should get to see the POV competition and I know that I’m very curious to see if CBS shows the fight that apparently happened between Candice and Amanda or if they’ll continue to edit things to make it look like Aaryn is the only person in the house who ever make racially-insensitive comments.

(For those of you who missed it, Helen and Andy had a conversation immediately after the POV competition where they talked about Amanda calling Candice “Shaniqua” and taunting her about Howard during the comp.  Since the live feeds were showing fish and trivia during the actual comp, nobody has gotten to see what actually happened.)

I’m also curious about why the BB editors continue to protect Spencer.  Spencer is one of the most disgusting individuals that I’ve ever seen in the Big Brother House but, if you only knew him from what they’s shown on the CBS show, you would be justified in thinking that he was just a plain-spoken guy from Arkansas.  As much as I dislike Aaryn, it does seem somewhat unfair to continually portray her as being the only racist in the house while Spencer is wandering around and telling everyone about how much he admires Hitler.

So, what does everyone think about the jury starting tomorrow?  And how many other people feel like they have to take a shower after spending any amount of time watching Spencer on the live feeds?

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — Is It Thursday yet?

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 6, 2013

Hi, everyone:

For all of this weekend’s drama (Amanda getting into fights with both Candice and Jessie, Amanda freaking out after finding out that she was the third nominee, the POV competition, Jessie taking herself off the block and Spencer being nominated in her place), things are dragging in the Big Brother House as we approach yet another predictable eviction.

It’s true that, ever since their argument on Thursday night, Jessie has been trying to convince people to vote out Amanda and Helen was actually giving it some serious thought until she talked to Andy.  As he always does, Andy protected Amanda and McCrae and argued that it was “too early” to make a big move.  This seems to be the argument that Helen always falls for and this time was no different.  After Jessie took herself off the block, Helen told her closest ally, Elissa, to vote for Candice.

Last night, Jessie told Helen that they don’t have the votes to take out Amanda.  Helen agreed and then said that they had to make sure that one of them won the next HoH competition.  So, it looks like Helen is still open to getting rid of Amanda but for now, she’s content to vote out Candice.

What else is new?  For all her talk in the Diary Room about how she’s the most powerful player in the house, Helen is too cautious to really be a factor.  It seems that all Andy has to do is say, “It’s too soon,” and Helen will automatically return to her role of being Amanda’s puppet.

(Outside of the house, Helen is a political consultant.  I wonder if any of her candidates ever actually get elected.  “Helen, I think we should start running some TV ads now that we’re down in the polls…” “No, it’s too early to make a big move like that…”)

In other Big Brother developments:

1) Aaryn is telling everyone who will listen that she now hates Gina Marie.  She says that GM has let the power of being HoH go to her head.  I’m not really sure why Aaryn thinks this but then again, I get the feeling Aaryn might just be the jealous type.

2) Judd has been trying to get back into Amanda’s good graces, even going so far as to say that he would be willing to get rid of Jessie.  It’s not working though because Amanda still seems to be convinced that Judd is HoH.  She, McCrae, and Helen have all talked about backdooring Judd in the near future because, in their opinion, he’s just too dangerous of a player.  Only Andy has been willing to suggest to them that they might be giving Judd too much credit.

3) Almost all of the houseguests have now at least considered that America might be the MVP.  Amanda, however, still refuses to believe it because, according to her, America loves her.  Aaryn, meanwhile, thinks that America is the MVP and that they specifically nominated Amanda because they’re angry about Amanda accusing her of being a racist.

4) However, Andy, Helen, and Candice have all mentioned the possibility that McCrae is the MVP and that he nominated Amanda in order to keep them from suspecting it.

5) Candice knows that she’s going to be evicted so, instead of wasting her time begging for votes from people that she can’t stand, she’s been spending a lot of time talking game with Jessie and developing a strategy that would help Jessie to both survive in the house and get rid of the people who voted out Candice.

6) Amanda says that if she (or anyone from her group) wins the next HoH then they need to nominate Jessie and Spencer and backdoor Judd.

7) Judd and Spencer have said that if either one of them wins HoH, they might nominate Gina Marie and Aaryn but that they would also consider nominating Helen and Elissa, with the plan being to get rid of Helen.

8) Just about everyone in the house seems to think that they might be having a double eviction this Thursday.  Though I’m sure some people will cite the usual “The Diary Room Told Them” conspiracy theories, I think it was Andy who first mentioned that there’s usually a double eviction at this point in the season.

9) Last night, Spencer said that he enjoys child porn and that he especially likes it when the children involved are 3 to 4 years old and he especially likes it “when you can tell they’re in the basement.”  At the time, Spencer was speaking into McCrae’s microphone and I think the joke (?) was supposed to be that Spencer was pretending to be McCrae.  Joke or not, that’s really icky.  I always feel like I have to take a shower after watching the live feeds.

That’s it for now.

Will the double eviction force the houseguests to truly play the game or will they just continue to do whatever they think the majority wants them to do?  I know I can’t wait until Thursday to find out!

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — This won’t take long…

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 5, 2013

Hey,  y’all:

This won’t take long because this is Monday and it’s my crazy day!  But I wanted to give all of you a new page where you can discuss the POV ceremony.

Today, Jessie is going to take herself off the block and Spencer is going to go up in her place.

(Edit: Right after I posted this, they had the P.O.V. ceremony.  Jessie came off the block and Spencer went up in her place.)

Last night, Helen was thinking about turning on Amanda and getting her out but — after making the mistake of talking to Andy, who can always be trusted to veto any plan that might lead to Amanda getting voted out — she changed her mind.  Jessie wants to get Amanda out and there’s always a chance that Helen might change her mind — especially since Amanda apparently no longer trusts Helen — but, as of right now, it looks like Candice will be going home.

(Edit: After the veto ceremony, Helen and Elissa had a meeting in the storage room and Helen told Elissa to vote for Candice.)

I think the question, though, is how Helen’s feelings towards Amanda will come into play during the double eviction.  I’m assuming that Amanda’s next target, after Candice, will be Jessie.  Perhaps Helen’s target will be Amanda or McCrae.

Anyway, sorry for the short update but I know you guys will have a lot of great stuff to say in the comments down below.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

P.S. As soon as I get home from dance class tonight, I’m going to be finding out what happened on The Bachelorette.  My guess: Desi rejects everyone.

Big Brother 15 — The Long Reach of America

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 4, 2013

Hi!  I hope everyone is having a Supple Sunday!

Well, America has spoken yet again and yesterday, Amanda found out that, for the second week in a row, she is the third nominee.  If anything, Amanda seems to be having even more of a meltdown this week, despite the fact that it doesn’t appear that she’s at any risk of going home.

Judging from what’s been said in the house, it appears that Amanda and Candice got into it during the veto competition.  Apparently, Amanda taunted Candice about Howard and then called her “Shaniqua” (which, to be honest, sounds more like something Aaryn would do).  After the veto comp, McCrae ended up yelling at Amanda and telling her — for the 100th time — that she has start showing some self-control or she’s going to end up alienating everyone in the house to the extent that they will end up voting her out.

Amanda, meanwhile, still seems to think that Judd is the MVP and that all of her problems are due to him.

As you might be able to guess, Amanda did not win the veto.  The veto comp was a punishment/reward competition and the only thing that Amanda won was an hourly spray tan.  Spencer won a trip.  Judd won some money.  Gina Marie won a cone of shame.  Candice has to wear a clown costume for the rest of the week.  Meanwhile, Jessie won the veto (and good for her because, as annoying as she can sometimes be, I get tired of her being constantly bullied by everyone else in the house).  Jessie is going to take herself off of the block and, as of right now, it appears that Spencer is going to go up in her place.

The plan still appears to be to send Candice home on Thursday and yes, Aaryn has already made a few comments about how happy she is that Candice is going to be evicted while dressed like a clown.

Believe it or not, I’m going to praise Gina Marie.  I still think she’s wasting her HoH on trying to get Candice evicted.  I still don’t think she has the slightest clue how to play a strategic game and my main memory of her will always be her sobbing after Nick got voted out.

But, with all that in mind, Gina Marie has probably handled being HoH better than any of the previous head of households.  A good example is the competition that the houseguests had where they imitated Gina Marie and the winner (who was McCrae but he then gave the prize up to Jessie so he and Amanda could spend another night in the HoH room — I get the feeling that McCrae thinks he might never get laid again after he leaves the Big Brother house) got to attend Helen’s BBQ.   As opposed to a lot of the other houseguests, Gina Marie does have the ability to laugh at herself and that’s something that I have to give her credit for.

(Can you imagine how Aaryn or Amanda would have reacted if the HGs had had a competition to imitate either one of them?)

Finally, I have to admit that I was a little bit shocked that Amanda was named as the third nominee, instead of Aaryn.  It’s true that there’s a lot of people who can’t stand Amanda but she also has a lot of fans as well.  Aaryn, meanwhile, is one of the most hated HGs in Big Brother history.

I think to a certain extent people have gotten used to Aaryn.  People are no longer shocked when Aaryn says or does something racist.  Instead, they just kind of go, “Well, that’s Aaryn…”

In Amanda’s case, most viewers have only recently started to turn against her.  A lot of them did like her originally but then, they saw how obsessed she was with Howard.  And then, they heard the rumors that the game has been rigged in Amanda’s favor.  Then, that YouTube video came out and suddenly, people who only knew Amanda from the CBS show could see what we’ve all been seeing on the live feeds.

(And, of course, the Brenchel Army is obsessed with getting Amanda out, which is strange because Amanda has never really targeted Elissa for eviction.  If anything, Amanda was a pretty important factor in keeping Elissa from being evicted during the first week.)

I guess my point here is that Amanda’s nomination doesn’t mean that she has somehow replaced Aaryn as the most disliked person in the BB house.  It’s just that people who dislike Amanda tend to dislike her with far more intensity than they dislike Aaryn.  People who dislike Amanda are going to be sure to cast as many votes as they can for her but I think a lot of people assume that Aaryn is going to be eventually evicted whether they vote for her or not.

Whereas, with the way the game’s been going so far, it looks like the only way to get Amanda out of the house is for America to keep voting for her and for Amanda to keep overreacting until, eventually, everyone gets sick of dealing with her.

Finally, yesterday, there was a lot of outrage on twitter because some people felt that they had caught Amanda whispering a racial slur on the live feeds.  However, if you carefully listen to what she said, it becomes apparent that Amanda did not say what everyone thought she said.  She was just speaking quickly, her voice was muffled, and people misheard.

Still, it says something about this year’s house that people were so quick to believe that Amanda said what they thought she said.  The game is less than halfway over and we’ve already been conditioned to automatically expect the worst from just about everyone in the house.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — The Long Wait

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 3, 2013

Hi, y’all:

I wasn’t going to post until after the third nomination was announced but that might be a while so I’m going to go ahead and put up a new post so that we’ll have a place to talk about “America’s nominee” once her name is announced.

In case you missed it, Gina Marie has nominated Jessie and Candice for eviction.  If either one of them wins the veto, the plan appears to be to nominate Spencer as a replacement.

Now, we’re waiting for the veto selection ceremony so we can see who America voted for.

Will it be Aaryn the racist or Amanda the producer’s pet?

One thing’s for sure — regardless of who is nominated, Amanda will blame Judd.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — The Long Week of Gina Marie

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 2, 2013

Hey out there, y’all:

In case you missed the show last night, Howard was voted out of the house on a 7-1 vote.  Spencer voted for Candice, everyone else voted for Howard.

And let’s say this for Howard — he may not have been a great player and, in the house, he often seemed to struggle to make himself understood but once he was outside and talking to Julie, Howard was a class act.  He didn’t come across as being overly cocky like Jeremy or petulant like Kaitlin.  He came across like the Howard who we all met during the first week.

But, to be honest, we all knew that Howard was going home.  It wasn’t a surprise to see him voted out.

What was a surprise was to see Gina Marie totally kick some serious ass during the HoH competition.  As predicted, it was an endurance competition.  The houseguests had to run on a spinning barrel while holding onto a rope.

Helen, Candice, and Spencer were the first three HGs to fall off their barrels.  As a result, they each won a prize: Helen got a BBQ  (and I’m hearing that she invited Aaryn to attend it with her), Candice won money, and Spencer won a bullhorn that he has to use whenever he speaks up until the nominations are announced.

Eventually, the final three left on their barrels were Nick’s Goomah, Gina Marie, Amanda’s puppy dog McCrae, and dark horse Jessie.  At first I was cheering for Jessie but when she finally fell off the barrel, I found myself in the odd position of cheering for Gina Marie.

McCrae attempted to convince GM to fall off by telling her that she didn’t want to get blood on her hands.  Silly, McCrae.  Doesn’t he realize that GM is being the guided the holy spirit of Nick?

McCrae then said that if GM jumped off the barrel, he would allow her to name both nominees.  Amanda’s eyes nearly popped out of her head at that one.

Finally, McCrae fell and Gina Marie became the new Head of Household!

(However, GM did agree to allow McCrae and Amanda to spend a night in the HoH room so that they could celebrate their “Big Brother engagement.”  Bleh.  Gag me.)

Anyway, GM’s plan seems to be to nominate Candice and Jessie for eviction.  Amanda, of course, is convinces that Judd has to go up next.  For the thousandth time, McCrae had to warn Amanda to tone it down.

As usual, Amanda responded by getting into a fight with Jessie and Candice.

Finally, America is still BBMVP and no, the Houseguest still do not know that America is doing the nominated.  (Though Howard’s reaction when he found out was priceless.)  I went on twitter after GM won HoH and it looks like a lot of people are excited about nominating Amanda for a second time.  (The Brenchel Army is as obsessed with getting her out as Amanda was obsessed with getting out Howard.)

However, assuming that GM does nominate Candice and Jessie, this will be the first week that Aaryn will also be eligible to be nominated for America.  So, I wouldn’t be too quick to assume that Amanda’s going to be the third nominee.

We’ll find out on Saturday.  For now, however, the long week of Gina Marie has just begun.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — The Long Goodbye

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 1, 2013

Tonight’s the night!

Who will be voted out of the Big Brother House?

Will it be Howard, the youth counselor who gives incoherent speeches and spends a lot of time praying?

Will it be Candice, who has been labeled inside the house as being a troublemaker despite the fact that she really hasn’t made any trouble just yet?

Or will it be Amanda, who appears to be this season’s Love-Her-Or-Hate-Her houseguest?

Of course, we all know that Howard’s going tonight.  I like Howard but I can’t pretend that he’s played a particularly good game.  To be honest, he really hasn’t played any game at all.  He’s prayed a lot.  As we saw last night, he’s given a few incoherent speeches where he, more or less, asked to be voted out.  As we discussed in the comments of the previous post, he’s been accused of sexual harassment by Amanda.

Amanda is obviously the bigger threat but the houseguests decided long ago that they were going to vote out Howard as soon as they possibly could and that appears to be what they’re going to do.

Two things to watch for tonight:

First off, I’ve heard rumors that Julie is going to reveal tonight that America has been the MVP for the past two weeks.  If that does happen, I can’t wait to see how Elissa and Amanda react.  If Julie does reveal the truth, that’ll potentially be very good news for Judd since Amanda and Helen seem to be convinced that Judd won MVP and is some sort of secret mastermind.

Secondly, the HoH competition is going to be endurance-based.  That would seem to favor the smaller houseguests.

As for me, I vote to evict Amanda!

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 15 — BLEH!

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 31, 2013

Hello everyone.

I’m using my serious tone here because, quite frankly, these houseguests are starting to seriously tick me off.

Yesterday, several of the Housguests talked about maybe — just maybe — making a big move and doing something other than sheepishly agreeing to whatever Amanda demands.

However, once anyone was actually confronted about actually playing the game, they immediately gave up and went back to the original plan of just going along with the majority and voting out Howard.

I hate her and I think she’s a bully and I’m sick of listening to her talk about how much America loves her but, as of right now, Amanda probably does deserve to win.  She’s not really playing the game but she’s getting  what she wants.  Since Big Brother 15 has pretty much been defined by bullying in the house, it seems somewhat appropriate that the biggest bully should end up winning.

That said, I do hope that someone in the house will finally grow a pair and take out Amanda.  I’m sick of her attitude and I’m sick of McCrae following her around like a dog in need of neutering.

Yesterday’s arguments started with Amanda and Spencer getting into an argument in the backyard about whether or not Spencer is trying to keep Howard in the house.  That’s right — the most loathsome guy and the most loathsome girl got into a fight and the end results were pretty loathsome.  Amanda came across looking like an entitled brat but the fight probably worked to her advantage.  Since everyone is terrified of being called out for going against “the majority,” Amanda and Spencer’s argument pretty much scared them away from voting for Amanda this week.

As for McCrae, he spent the whole argument sitting quietly in a corner.  Way to stand up for the woman you love, you pizza-delivering loser.

Anyway, all this led to Amanda whining that Spencer was bullying her and … seriously, shut up, Amanda.

Candice, hearing that Spencer said that she was his target this week, then had to have a house meeting where she attacked Spencer for campaigning against her.  And then Howard gave a speech where he said that he would rather go home then see Candice voted out.  And that’s nice of Howard and all but seriously, instead of playing the martyr, why isn’t he out there trying to get people to vote out Amanda?

In other words, WHY AREN’T THESE PEOPLE PLAYING THE FREAKING GAME THAT THEY SIGNED UP FOR!?  I could maybe sympathize if this was an act of civil disobedience.  If they were all making a united decision not to play the game in an effort to protest geed or whatever, I could at least understand why they’re all acting like this.  However, when you listen to these people, it becomes apparent that they really do think that they’re playing the game.

BLEH!

Anyway, eventually, I had a brief glimmer of hope when Aaryn, Gina Marie, and Jessie all ended up in the HoH room and started trying to figure out a way to tie up the votes so that Aaryn could then vote to evict Candice.  Don’t get me wrong.  I don’t want to see Candice leave and I certainly don’t want to see Aaryn suddenly turn into a power player.  The fact that they had to use M&Ms to keep track of the votes just reminded me of everything I dislike about this current crop of houseguests.

Still, it was at least a sign of life.  In the Big Brother house this season, two racists and a doormat using M&Ms to count votes is about as close as you can get to gameplay.

However, Candice again figured out that they were thinking of voting her out and, as usual, the houseguests abandoned their plans as soon as they realized that those plans were no longer secret.

BLEH!

Anyway, I’m sorry that I can’t be more positive today.  I’m just frustrated.  At least I can look forward to watching Amanda have a nervous breakdown on the CBS show tonight.

Stay supple,

Lisa Marie
