BB11…Are the Alliances Changing?

by BloggerGal on August 17, 2009

Is it Monday again????

As mentioned in the comments, last night’s BB was fun.  My favorite part was Kevin’s reaction at Jessie’s “wake”.  His facial expressions were so funny!  I didn’t think that the part with Lydia and her unicorn was funny–just really strange and kinda sad.

Meanwhile back in the house, “times…they are a changin'”.  Sorry, don’t forget I just saw Bob Dylan!  Jordan and Jeff are talking about backdooring Russell.  This seems to have stemmed from two things.  One is a conversation between Jeff and Kevin where Kevin tells him that Michelle and Russell plan to stick together to the final two.  The other is Jeff’s realization that it was Russell that voted to keep Jessie.  My problem with this is that Jeff shouldn’t care about any of that right now.  What he needs to do is think about the voting numbers and how/who is evicted will affect him and Jordan next week.

So Jeff tells Kevin and of course Kevin runs back to the two girls.  Now they feel like they have a chance to take over the house again.  Kevin has a conversation with Lydia and Natalie about Jessie and before you know it both the girls are AGAINST Jessie.  Yep, that’s a complete 180!  Natalie is saying that all along she was only sticking with Jessie so he can help her game.  Lydia is calling him a d-bag and saying he used her and why didn’t America tell her.  That girl is something else!

I think that Kevin is doing an amazing job manipulating practically everyone in the house.  I go back to what I said in yesterday’s blog, Kevin needs to get voted out now.  Do you think backdooring Russell is the best thing for Jeff and Jordan?  One thing about Russell is he has stuck to his word.  If he won HOH next week, I don’t think he’d target Jeff or Jordan (yet).  Jordan can’t compete for HOH (not that it matters–she didn’t win this one on her own) so if Russell is gone that leaves Jeff and (maybe) Michelle against Lydia, Natalie and Kevin.  You know that one of those last three will win HOH, it’s going to happen sooner or later.  Please take Kevin out!

Have a great start to your new week.  Stay tuned…Bloggergal1

BB11…Chima’s Departure Aftermath

by BloggerGal on August 16, 2009

Happy Sunday everyone!

Shall I summarize?  Chima either quit BB11 or was asked to leave by the producers.  There is an email circulating that (supposedly?) Chima wrote saying that she quit.  You really can’t be 100% sure, but it does look legit.  If she is saying the truth or not is a matter of personal opinion, don’t you think?

After she left, the BB producers decided that they would consider her evicted, although she does not get to go to the Jury House.  Next they held another HOH competition.  Jordan won this competition but from bits and pieces of the “guys” talking, it seems they threw the competition so that she would win.  If true, that’s sweet.

Jordan’s mother is going to lose her house.  Her parents got divorced and Jordan says her father spent all their money.  She if very concerned about her family.  Of course, there will be comments positive and negative about this.  Is she making it up for sympathy votes, etc.  Whatever.  I don’t think that someone should win BB because they need the money.  I think the person who plays the best should win BB11.  You have to play really well to get to the final two, so it usually works out okay.

As documented in the comments, Lydia flipped out last night.  Everyone, but especially Michelle and Jeff were involved in the fight.  Some think she’s trying to get evicted to get some alone time with Jessie in the Jury House.  Maybe.  Natalie is happy to let her go to the Jury House.  Kevin and Natalie and Lydia keep carrying on trying to come up with ideas to destroy the other alliance.  All they are doing is making themselves look more and more like two-year-olds.  Kevin wanted them to join the others to eat, but Natalie and Lydia refused.  I think that’s the famous “cut your nose off to spite your face”.  They told Kevin to go out, but he didn’t.  What a wimp.  He actually said if he wins POV, he’ll take Lydia off.  Well, he said that, but I don’t think he’d do it.  If he does, he’s crazy (too?).

I would expect Jordan to put up Lydia and Natalie.  When she was talking to Jeff, she thinks that Natalie should be evicted because she is the stronger player.  Not sure if she is the stronger player, but she is still thinking logically and strategically.  I agree with Jordan that to get rid of Natalie before Lydia is a good idea.  An even better idea would be to get rid of Kevin because he keeps those two girls a bit in check.  Let them flounder without him.

The only comment I have about Lydia’s hair is that it doesn’t match the unitard.  Once again, I have to say that her behavior in the house really scares me.  Hopefully, she’s “playin” us all and putting this whole big show on for America.  I don’t really see it that way though.

Time to get on with my day.  Can’t brag about my plans because I haven’t decided what I want to do yet!  We’re thinking of going to the Western Finals of the LL World Series in San Bernardino at 5:00 p.m. pst tonight.  I have to do a little school shopping with my college-bound senior.  He’ll be leaving CA to go back to Penn State on Wednesday <sigh>.  Last year though…but then the second one starts college <bigger sigh>.  LOL  Have a great day. I can’t say it enough times that our commenters’ are the best on the Internet!!!! Stay tuned…Bloggergal1

Chima is gone from the Big Brother 11 house!

by BBBlogger on August 15, 2009

I love being a blogger about Big Brother 11 but I have to admit, I try hard to still have a life and get a decent amount of sleep.

Well, from what I know at this moment (I just woke up) is that Chima has left the Big Brother 11 house. I do not know why? I do not know when? All I know is that when Big Brother says “Expect the Unexpected” I guess it goes for house guests and the production team.

So now we are all asking…”What happened?”

I am going to find out and will post later day. If you cannot wait, I highly recommend my favorite Big Brother site of BB11 Dish.

My personal thoughts and feelings are…

Chima is quite the woman to have been dubbed the sorest loser ever after the first Have Not competition. To have effected the house so much to make the usual LIve Show be taped. To be so threatening and challenging of “Big Brother” and the producers during the show.

In my mind, Chima defines the word Diva.

Now, from a game perspective, she should have at least stayed…because anything could happen. She basically made it over 1/2 and even if she was not loved or liked, still had a chance…she should have seen this once in a lifetime opportunity through.

Anyway…

COMMENT and let me know your thoughts. (please keep the comments clean. I will delete comments I find rude or out of line)

Peace, BBBlogger

PS: also read this information…very interesting but does sound like Chima! Big Brother Fans

Last night was….

by BBBlogger on August 14, 2009

Epic? Awesome? Too expected? Planned out? Staged? Game Changing? Lame? Best ever?

What word would you use? Me…well I wanted to title this post “I told you so!” but figured that would not be nice…

I figured Jeff would use it…and he did…and made me laugh when he stood up. He also did everyone’s bidding and put Jessie and Natalie up and Jessie is now GONE! Whew!

So that worked out….

I found it interesting how Chima was more than calm…maybe editing…but if it was the editing then why did they let the statements like “I am going to have to talk to the producers” go through and make it to the show? So weird.

I also found it SAD that one house guest (CHIMA) caused so much of concern for the live show that they had to tape it. How does that work? I mean….I know some people were even turned away from attending. Read one of my Twitter friends accounts on getting tickets to the live show only to be turned away…

The crushed fans of the BB11’s Jessie eviction

I want to start by explaining that as crushed as I am, there are 80-100 other fans just as crushed. Being a big brother fan, it’s hard to explain the excitement of thinking you’re going to be included in a live show as many don’t have the ablility to do so. Some go through huge lengths to make it to such a show, such as flying across the country, putting their jobs at jeopardy, or even financial hardship. To non fans, of course this sounds crazy. “Your problem to love something so silly to take such risks, your nuts!” But I don’t think I need to explain this any further to true fans.

At the beginning of this season, my one and only goal (besides just enjoying the season) was to make it to a show. I soon found out (through my favorite hang out, thebigbrotherklub.) that there was new site to request tickets from this year. The process was actually pretty simple. Register for the waiting list, wait for an e-mail announcing the release of tickets, and then signing up for them. The trick is noticing this e-mail before the dates (in which they send out 4 at a time) are full. The first set I was (with my luck) day late, a dollar short. No biggy, my fault. Since then I’ve made it a point to make sure I checked my e-mail on a regular basis. So last Thursday, (the Ronnie evection) as the show started, it hit me, “check your mail!” BAM! There it was, the golden ticket for the 13th, and un full! Upon printing this ticket, I danced, screamed, called my friends, and posted all over the klub. (while the current showing was paused of course) cloud nine! Ronnie gone, Jeff got the power! And I was going to the show the very next week to watch it all unfold. The next week included tires on my car, a major tune up, re arranging my days off, setting up a baby sitter for the kids, and buying a new attire to wear. (again, Im sure some went through much more, this is just my experience)

D-day -1. The night before the live show. With Jeff’s power, speculation on Chima’s reaction, and who knows what else, an e-mail arrived with the announcement of the “live show” being moved up 4 hours. Ok, we goto my mothers house, (she’s watching the kids evection day) spend the night, get up at 5, get all prettied up, and traffic promoting, we make it on time. A hard change, yes.. but after the preparation, we weren’t about to give up, plan B now in effect.

D-day… The nightmare begins. Air mattress, baby that wakes up any time we move and the excitement allowed about 3 hours of sleep. After a 5am wake up call, a few red bulls, and a bit of kicking each other in the butt a couple of times, (me and the wife) we hit the road. 15 to the 210, to the 164, to the 19, 45, 101, hell I dunno….. We arrive in studio city. With the use of the car pool lane, good music, and the excitement of getting there, we make it at 9:45 am, tickets say no later then 11:30. Awesome right, we’re good to go eh?

Streets are dead, we’re dead wired (on red bull) and our nerves have us in a cluster fuck. We follow the directions to a tee and drive right to the studio. Upon pulling into the first parking garage, we’re told where we need to be is one block down but the gates don’t open tell 10:30. Ok, that’s cool. We then spend the next 30 minutes in a McDonald’s parking lot passing a bit of time. Here is where our first mistake lies, should have stood outside no matter the parking. After being told where to go, (at 10:30) we drove down the street to scope things out, we see the parking garage, cruz down the street a bit and even see the outside of the studio before turning around, We saw 4 people standing on the sidewalk outside of the parking structure. Eh, yeah, prolly here for BB but who knows, we’ve plenty of time right. We try to enter the garage at 10:15 and were told not to return to the garage until 10:30 sharp! This we can do, we go 1 block back up the street, park next to a metered parking space and wait out the last few minutes. During the next few minutes, we notice the area where the “few” people were standing turn into a few more, but Walla! They open the garage. We’re the 5th car in line, we’re good to go! So we thought. Upon reaching the 4th level, which was the first we were permitted to park in, we quickly find a spot which we had to squeeze into; I mean we almost had to crawl out the window to get from the car. But again the excitement had us wanting to get downstairs and in the studio before most, I would had parked ON another car had I been in a 4×4. Elevator? Hell no! We’ll run down the stairs, which did indeed get us there before the others that had parked on the same level. SWEET, here we are production crew, complete with head sets, clip boards, and maybe 20-30 people already in line. Then we hear a voice “excuse me sir, the end of the line is down the stairs and to the left” hmmmm.. No biggy, the end of the line is only down two short flights of stairs, short meaning like ten stairs each. Ok, we’re still early; I know for a FACT they can at least fit 100 fans in the studio.

The stair well was veeeery confined; there is a brick wall that towered over us at least 20 feet. No air, no room to stand, and fans are starting to line up above us from where we JUST came from! We felt like rats in a pit. A production crew member walked down the stairs several times counting those in line commenting on how he was going to have to be the person to piss a lot of people off, all the while cussing under his breath. Idle gossip consumed the nervous fans as a voice finally rang out. “If you are here because you know somebody in production, or if you have a priority ticket, (if you have a priority ticket you’ll know it btw), please come upstairs and you will be placed in a stand by line” stand by meaning your in obviously. Only a few seemed to weed out of the line at this point, the next announcement came as “If you have traveled here and have travel documents, please bring those to the stand by line” ok, understandable… Note: at this point, the line had passed way behind us into the basement level. Id say prolly 60+

Minutes later, (after standing in the hole for close to an hour) the line started to move, 1 step 2 step, 3 step, 10… next flight the same. Within a few moments we’re on the main level and the line again stops. Me, my wife, and about 20 ahead of us and 60+ behind us sit almost expecting the inevitable, wait. This is what upsets me. They KNEW there was no more room and continued to direct the late arrivals towards the end of the line. Ok sure, maybe there were a few more seats, I dunno. But tell the first ten in line to hold up and tell the rest their fucked. But no, they have us stand for another 20 minutes while walking around mumbling under their breaths. With fans bending over with back pain, rocking from side to side with sore feet, I over hear a production crew member on his cell “yeah, there’s prolly 80-100 left” you’ve got to be kidding me, a studio that holds prolly 100 fans, they let us sit and stir this whole time knowing damn well it wasn’t going to happen. It seemed like forever until the announcement was made.. “Due to a large VIP list, being late in the season and all (say what?) We can’t fit anymore fans in. we’re sorry. If you give us your tickets, we will turn them in and you will have to call the number on the second page tomorrow and they’ll see if they can get you in later in the season with “turn away” tickets” whatever those are.

The only the only thing I can figure is that from the sounds of it, the production knew it was going to be a turning point in the show and had their “buddies” admitted before the fans already holding tickets. They did make the effort to place those that traveled from out of state, or those with “priority tickets” but come on! There needs to be a cap on VIP’s that can displace the whole of an audience that should rightfully be seated. If I had shown up close to the dead line, or was close to the end of the line at all, I would graciously accept this and try again another week. But to pass out tickets and turn the majority away when the fans were doing exactly as told. It’s saddening.

I’m not sure If I’ll make another attempt to drive another 3 hours each way even, though it’s something I love so dearly, after this experience. If I do, I’ll make sure to not do as they say, stand my happy ass right in front no matter the time, or no matter how kind the production crew was. (Which they did happen to be very kind, not that it helped) I’m talking “in your face! Tow my car! I don’t care! Let my ass in!” The fans make this show, so show them some respect CBS! We’re not cattle……….

Driving home was the worst, yes there was no traffic to contend with as on the way there, but the lump in my throat from being taken from such a high to heart break was like washing a winning lottery ticket to shreds for a big brother fan. Only a finale ticket could compare to my expectations for this showing. But I know with family members of the HG’s and the “VIP’s” this is impossible. I’m crushed, disappointed….. Words cannot describe.

So….now Michele is in charge. She was SO SO QUIET and now she holds the power. What is going to happen? I know last night Chima was in chatting with her….is that a sign that the “Brains” are FINALLY in control? Or is Michele smart enough (or brave enough) to target Chima and get the cancer out of the house!

That is my thoughts….what do you think? What is next as we move into a DOUBLE ELIMINATION WEEK! (whoo hoo!)

…the game is getting good!

BB11 Jessie Gets Shown The Door!

by BloggerGal on August 14, 2009

Hi!

It took forever to read all the comments!  I was going to take the weekend off but I can’t resist giving my two cents worth!

I went to listen to “the wake” .  OMG, they are so pathetic.  Kevin should be running in the opposite direction as quickly as he can.  Did anyone ever read the book “Who Moved My Cheese?”  It’s a parable about two mice who are in a maze.  They are very happy in one section with a nice big hunk of cheese and then little by little the cheese starts to disappear.  That’s because they are eating it!  When inevitably all the cheese disappears, the two mice are surprised.  But here’s the thing.  One mouse says well okay my cheese is gone I had better go out into the maze and find more.  The other mouse sits down and starts complaining and asking “Who Moved My Cheese?”.  Instead of doing something about it, he just complains and complains.  See where I’m going with this?  Kevin Eleven provided us with Jeff’s quote where he says pretty much the same thing about Chima/Nat/Lydia.  Grow up and play the game women!

Off topic for a minute or two…”Who Moved My Cheese?” is one of my favorite books because it teaches every one of us that life constantly changes and you have to go with the changes.  Complaining and whining about life not being fair isn’t going to get you anywhere.  Sometimes I have to pull the book down off the shelf and re-read it because it’s easy to feel sorry for yourself and start throwing blame, but in the end you have to pick yourself up by the bootstraps and get going!  Something like this is going on in my life now and so I’m probably due to read the book again.  Most likely, something similar is going on in a lot of lives right now due to our economic upheaval.  BTW, the book is really small and only takes about an hour to read.  Also, I’m not related to the author!  LOL.  But, I do highly recommend you read it if you haven’t already.

Okay, back to Big Brother 11.  I’m not sure if I saw this mentioned in the comments, but did everyone notice how when Jessie was put up for eviction he immediately ripped off his first tee-shirt?  Below was a second shirt that said “The Man, The Myth, The Legend” with a picture of himself underneath.  Ewww.  But it does show he knew he was going home last night.  It is plain to see that Jessie has an agenda and appeared on BB for the notoriety and publicity.  Did you hear him tell Julie that he will be a sports announcer?  At least I think that’s what he said–I’m too lazy to double check!

The HOH competition would have been very hard for me.  I can come up with the right answers but in a split second is a whole other story.  I’ve been wishy-washy about Michelle because she seems to turn on a dime, but I’m kinda glad she won.  I’m still a feminist from way back when!

Also, I have to admit I thought Russell looked hot last night.  I like those hats on guys–but they have to be the right guy to wear it.  Did anyone else notice that Chima’s girlfriend also had a very shiny (sweaty) face–just like Chima always has?  What’s up with that?  As mentioned in the comments, Chima’s grandmother was great.  She handled herself well.  She had to be mortified when she heard her granddaughter’s language, as I’m sure Russell’s family was too.  I know my boys probably say stuff like that when they are with their friends, but if they ever did that on national TV, I’d be PO’d!  I hope I raised them better than that.  Of course, I think I raised them not to sell their soul on national TV and appear on a reality show!

I haven’t had a chance to review BBAD yet.  I did read what y’all said and hope that Michelle does what you said and nominates Chima and Natalie.  I did catch the very beginning where Chima and Natalie were in the HOH room talking to Michelle.  I thought that Michelle would probably go against them because Chima was talking like she was still in charge.  If I were Michelle that would send me in the opposite direction.  If both Natalie and Chima end up off the show next week, I wonder if the other HG’s might actually start enjoying their time in the BB house and have some fun?  Wishful thinking on my part?

I see that Jordan slept with Michelle in the HOH room.  That’s a good sign for J/J group.  I do have to say one thing though.  I don’t like Chima or Natalie, but I wonder if Michelle is doing the right thing by getting rid of a female.  For her to win this game, she is going to need to get rid of both Jeff and Russell.  She’ll never beat either of them in an endurance competition.  Is she giving up her chance to do that?  I’m not saying that’s what I want her to do.  I want her to put up Natalie and Chima.  But I’m asking you if you think it will help or hurt HER game in the end?

Also not BB related…My baby (border collie/lab, one and half year old puppy) developed a “hot spot” yesterday and I had to take him to the vet.  The poor thing was all stressed out and sick.  I never thought I’d get so attached to a dog.   Messed up my day and my “pocketbook”.  Also,it  looks like my “cheese is going to move”.   When I know what’s going on, I’m coming to all my new BB blog friends for advice and encouragement!

I’m not sure but I think yesterday had a record-breaking number of comments.  BBBlogger–is that true?  Let us know what the record is so we can make sure to break it!  Have a great day and stay tuned!  Bloggergal1

It’s Thursday and WWJD – What will Jeff do?

by BBBlogger on August 13, 2009

How many of you started thinking of Amber from BB8 with this blog title? 🙂 “God bless you God!” Those were the days. As far as religion goes all I can remember from this season is Ronnie reading the bible and Jessie saying a prayer before eating then swearing right away afterwards!! (Very classy!)

But I digress…

Thursday means Live Eviction night. Jeff has the power. So many amazing comments on the last post (over 150) and lots of people really want Jeff to use the power, nominate Jessie and Natalie and watch the drama begin.

The best thing for ME this week has been knowing that really and honestly, Chima has held on to an illusion of control. She thinks she is in charge and that everything is working perfectly. If you want to see PROOF of this claim….read the HOH blog from this week posted at Big Brother Fans. (thanks YNKEFN for reposting it!)

http://www.big-brother-fans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=319

HA! Great stuff!

Jeff has been given the power of the Coup D’Etat and boy…I sure hope he knows EVERYONE EXPECTS it to be used. Even I hope it does….this house needs a jump start.

So, read the comments on the previous post or feel free to post your own. It is anyone’s guess who is going home tonight. Everyone WANTS Jessie or Natalie to go…but perception outside the house is ALWAYS different than perception inside the house. That is what makes it good TV! Plus, with Russell running his mouth last night on BBAD…who knows!

If you are on Twitter, be sure to follow @BBBlogger since I am going to be giving away some iTunes gift cards soon (maybe today) so do not miss out on that!

Lastly, we are going to be having a BB11 watching party tonight in the Big Brother Chat Room since tonigths show will be one of the best for the season! Hope to see you there tonight before, during and after the LIVE SHOW!

I love all my readers and am thankful that we have such a wonderful and active blog! It is YOUR BLOG….let us know what we can do to make it better.

Peace, BBBlogger

PS: give BloggerGal1 lots of love for keeping this blog rocking….she has been doing a good job and trying hard to keep everyone informed and engaged! Love ya Gal!

This week we are once again opening the Big Brother Blog diary room. However, I am not sure if we should focus on Lydia and Russell or if we should focus more on WWJD? (What will JEFF do?)

I am extremely intrigued with the idea that Jeff SHOULD or SHOULD NOT use it. I have heard many different theorys on Twitter and in my chat room about why he should and why he should not.

If Jeff uses it, he will be able to get someone out he wants out. Break up the Chima/Jessie/Natalie group and help his cause.

If Jeff does not use it, he will be hoping Russell is gone since he is a threat. That would be one reason why he should NOT use it but could Russell be an ally to Jeff?

So the question boils down to it….SHOULD JEFF USE THE POWER?

…and what about Chima? We know she is the “biggest sore loser in BB history” from the first week when she lost the HAVE NOT competition and made a big scene. Is it me or will she FREAK OUT on Thursday.

…and I mean FREAK OUT! SUPER FREAKING OUT…..it will be Mt. Saint Chima erupting on BB11 when she realizes that her week of being HOH was basically nothing and that Jeff really had the power this week.

CRAZY STUFF!

So instead of casting a vote to evict this week….tell me how you see Thursday night going down.

  • Will Jeff use the power of Coup D’Etat?
  • Who will Jeff nominate in replacement?
  • Who will go home?
  • Who will win the next HOH?
  • Who will win Big Brother 11? (ok…maybe a little early for that one!) 🙂

If you KNOW the answers we are having a contest at http://www.big-brother-fans.com/forums/ where you can win an iPod with the right guesses to these questions! Join us and play along! Who knows….you may win an iPod by watching the TV show you love!

Big Brother 11…A Reality TV Game Show

by BloggerGal on August 11, 2009

So you all know that Big Brother is just a reality TV game show right?  The people in the house are real people just like you and just like me.  Yes, they may be actors or actresses or models or whatever, but they are still people.  They are playing a game trying to win $500,000.  It’s fun to “hate” them, call them names and criticize them, but it’s all in fun–isn’t it?  I never really “hated” Ronnie.  I just didn’t like how he played the game and wouldn’t have him as a friend.  Every person in the house has a family and friends rooting for them.  Evil Dick was well…evil…but he was just playing the game.  I think God should bless every single one of them in the house, as I think that God should bless every single one in this blogger community.  I also say a prayer that absolutely not one of us (nor any of our daughters, etc.) should ever have to go through what Chima and those other four girls went through.  So how about we stick to Big Brother game play on this blog?  Thank you.

As mentioned in the comments, Kevin didn’t use the POV yesterday.  This didn’t surprise me.  He knows that Lydia has the votes to stay so why stir up the pot?  Chima wouldn’t have put up someone to “backdoor” anyway.

Right now all the HG’s are just sitting around waiting for Thursday.  Everyone knows there’s a big question mark out there due to the Coup.  Most suspect that Jeff has the wizard power.  BB keeps calling him into the Diary Room.  In comparison, Jessie said that he was called into the DR once in two days.  One point I’d like to throw out is that when (or if) Jeff uses the Coup, the players will then have to immediately decide who to vote out.  Will that affect how they vote?  In other words, are some houseguests more influenced by what others tell them than their own thoughts?  If Jeff does put up Jessie and Natalie, Jessie should be out the door without a problem.  Especially with this new “all girl” alliance.  Michelle would vote Jessie out over Natalie.  At least I think that’s what she would do.  Are the current alliances really the real alliances?  Who is lying and who is telling the truth?  You just never know in the BB house, do you?

I have to agree that these houseguests are the most boring we’ve ever had on BB.  They don’t do anything but sleep and every now and then talk game.  I guess the dislike for each other keeps them from getting together to play a game or come up with some funny, crazy way to entertain the BBAD crowd.  During past seasons, HG’s would do that.  “Oh, it’s 9:00!  Let’s give the people a show!”  That’s too bad because I think it will be the demise of Big Brother, although CBS reports that ratings were up for Sunday’s show.  I don’t even turn on BBAD anymore.  I just check your comments and if you say something happened, then I go look!

Speaking of BBAD, last year Showtime put BBAD on at 9:00 p.m. on the West Coast so we were watching the show at the same time that you were on the East Coast.  They would replay it on the West Coast at midnight.  I liked this better because it allowed us to see what everyone else was seeing.  Now at midnight, we are watching what happened three hours prior.  It’s really what I dislike most about moving to the West Coast–that we see very few shows (except sports of course) live.

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.  Tonight will be the POV and the POV ceremony at 9:00 p.m.  I assume we’ll see a piece on the Jeremy Piven movie too.  So stay tuned…Bloggergal1

BB11 Monday Ramblings

by BloggerGal on August 10, 2009

Good Monday Morning,

Got ya’ going with the Russell/Jessie nomination suggestion, didn’t I?  Teehee.  Happy to see that people read what I write–LOL.

A few thoughts about last night’s show.  How about Jordan asking Jeff random, dumb questions when they were laying outside?  That has to get old fast.  I can’t imagine him listening to her for the rest of his life.  She’s so sweet and a genuine good person, but her thinking is amazingly random.  But, he answers her very calmly and matter-of-factly.  So cute!  I know I keep saying it over and over–can’t stop myself!

I agree with all of you about how Natalie controls Jessie.  It’s interesting how he just does and says whatever she wants.  He’s been doing that from the very beginning.  It’s kinda weird.  Is there more to their connection than meets the eye?  I, of course, never liked Jessie, but the way he acts with Natalie is amazing.  His “I’m the man” attitude doesn’t mesh with his “Natalie’s the man” reality.

On a more serious note, you have to admit that Chima really does deserve our respect.  I can’t imagine going through what she went through and not letting it affect her.  God bless her.

Jeremy Piven was very mellow when he visited the Big Brother house, wasn’t he?  Who else thinks he had no idea what Big Brother was before he was contracted to do that little promo for his movie?   He’s great in Entourage.  I’m looking forward to seeing the movie.

So what did everyone think about how the HG’s divided up to compete in the Have/Have Not competition.  I’m sure BB edited out the indecision or discussion prior to them breaking up into groups.  Do you think that Big Brother told them how to divide up?  I guess if you think about it, the only logical choice was for Jordan to go with the Jesse, Russell and Natalie.  Although it would have been a little more fun to see Lydia with them, wouldn’t it have?

I have to go get the oil changed in the car.  Have a great start to your week.  Talk to you soon.  Stay tuned…Bloggergal1

Sunday in the BB11 House

by BloggerGal on August 9, 2009

Hi Everyone,

It’s Sunday afternoon, almost night on the East Coast and I’m finally getting some time to write.  For the sake of clarity, I’ll summarize what’s been going on.  Up for eviction this week are Lydia (again!) and Russell.  Chima is HOH and she wants Russell gone from the house.  This pretty much clears up the issue of whether their fight was real or not.  Speaking of fights, they had another little tiff earlier today. The live feeds went down so it’s not really clear what happened in the end.

The POV competition was held and Kevin came out the winner.  Now he has to decide whether he’s going to use his power to take Lydia down or not.  As far as I can see, he’s not going to use the POV mostly to keep from targeting himself later in the game.  I don’t think I would use it to save my “friend” either.  Why should he?

There have been a lot of comments about what is going on with Jeff.  I think he’s really smart and will do what is the right thing for himself.  But, I don’t think he’ll decide what that is until the time comes.  Getting rid of either Russell or Jessie is good for Jeff.  Deciding which one to keep and which one should go must be really hard.  If it were me, I’d put Jessie up there next to Russell and let the houseguests decide with their vote.

I haven’t been watching the Live Feeds but I also noticed some comments about Jeff and Jordan not getting along.  My guess would be that Jeff is trying to distance himself from her to keep his mouth shut about the coup.  Kevin asked Jeff before about Jordan and Jeff replied “Jordan is my rock.”

It was good to see Kevin finally win something.  Hopefully he’ll continue to step up his game!  I would love to see Jeff or Jordan win the HOH this week so they can get some private time in the HOH room, not to mention some luxuries.  Sorry I don’t have anything new to add!  The five “haves” have been watching the movie, so nothing much has gone on this afternoon.  Enjoy tonight’s show.  Stay tuned…Bloggergal1
