Big Brother 13 First Nominations Are…

As we all expected, the “all-star” BB contestants are sticking together and trying to eliminate the newbies. This show was weird to watch since we all know that Dick is out of the house. Dick was the most active working to shore up the numbers by converting two newbies to the all-star side. He went after Porsche and Adam. The plan is to put up Porsche and Keith and then vote out Keith so that Porsche has the golden key. Dick has assured that Porsche will vote with the all-stars.

Dominic made an alliance with Lawon, Cassie and Kevin to stick together and vote out their partners if nominated. This confused me because that’s only four votes, so what good does that do them? I’m not sure how the voting will go, but it sure doesn’t look good for Kevin.

The first Have/Have Not competition was televised tonight. Of course, the all-stars sailed through the competition. Why they were able to play together as a team is beyond me. The Have Nots for the week are Cassie, Lawon, Kalia and Shelly. I still hate the Have/Have Not part of Big Brother. It just seems so silly to me. I liked when all the contestants played for specific food items, etc.

Evel Has Left The Building!

Well, I for one was very excited that Evel Dick was back on Big Brother. I might not always like what he says or does, but the entertainment value was there either way. Waking up on Friday morning to find he wasn’t there was a bummer. Jeff and Jordan are eye candy and all, but they can be very, very boring BB houseguests.

As I’m sure you all did, I went searching for information on what happened to ED. Here are his latest tweets:

I will be releasing a public video statement on @RTVZone in the next couple days concerning my departure from the Big Brother House. (8 hours ago)

But to squash the rumors, I am not in jail, don’t have cancer, my mother son and girlfriend are not in the hospital & I was not kicked out (8 hours ago)

Well, if no one is sick and he wasn’t kicked out, then I guess he voluntarily left the house. Perhaps he had a difference of opinion with production? Another thought I had was that maybe he has a work contract that he needed to honor. I have no idea, but I guess it doesn’t really matter because there will be no Evel Dick in Big Brother this season .

I fast forward through BBAD and I do keep up by reading all of your comments and tweets. As far as I can tell, nothing too exciting is going on in the house so far. I guess for production reasons, the HG’s haven’t been going outside which I notice is annoying all of you out there who are just in this for the bathing suits!

I haven’t spoken to BBBlogger about whether I can talk about what is going on in the house prior to CBS showing it on TV, so I’ll stay away from nominated houseguests, POV, etc. for now. I do see that you all have been covering it in your comments.

None of the new houseguests have won me over so far. I have to admit, Cassi is beautiful. My first thought about her when I watched the premier was that she couldn’t care less about the show, which would mean she’s there to get publicity. Adam seems to be trying too hard. He wants to portray this ED-type image and make it into the BB Hall of Fame, but I’m not sure he has what it takes. I was disappointed with Dominic and Kevin in the HOH competition. I was thinking two young, healthy guys should be hard to compete with in comps, but nope! Not sure what to think about Kalia and Shelly yet. Porsche like annoyed me like from the very like first minute like she spoke! Lawson seems fun, but I don’t think he’ll be able to compete and win too many competitions.

Then we have our returning contestants. They are formidable and if I were a new HG, I’d be shaking in my boots. They win competitions–A LOT. If they continue to stick together, there isn’t a chance that the newbies can oust them. If the new HG’s can get Dani in their corner, they may have a shot.

Big Brother 13 starts with a bang….er Twist!

Big Brother 13 has begun and wow. I have to admit. I am getting old…but is it just me or did Evel Dick look old tonight when he was interviewed in the diary room? #imajustsaying

I have seen many Big Brother premiers and some have been good and some have been ok…(nothing like when they brought in the Ex’s) But the 3 twists for tonight’s show worked very good for me. Let’s talk about the 3 different twists a little bit

Twist #1 – Partner up. AKA Big Brother 9 part 2 Guess we are going to be chained at the hips with someone else. So much so they are even on the blog together! I guess this makes some sense since the dynamic duos/double trouble stuff would be setup for the 3 returning couples.

Twist #2 – 3 old duos come back! Brenchel/ED and Dani/Jeff and Jordan are back in the Big Brother house! I never minded Rachel however is it me or did the editing really show her annoying laugh a few times too many tonight! Oh well. Guess we are stuck with her for a bit (especially with her winning the first HOH!) I have mixed feelings about returning people to the Big Brother house but it will help ratings and feed sales! Twist #3 – Big Brother Golden Key! I think this is an intriguing twist…something new that the creative minds at CBS came up with. Basically, 2 people up. One out and the other gets a gold key. They are in the house until the final 10! (4 weeks free pass) How sweet would that be…if you get the key…you are then a floater for a month. Should be quite interesting!

So those are the twists. I would rate this season after only 1 episode a 8 out of 10. We will have to see how these twists play out. Should be interesting for sure. I think it would have been a 9 or a 10 if they would have brought back Dr. Will Kirby back to compete head vs. head against ED! CBS missed a huge opportunity with that one!

Big Brother 13 cast and the Dynamic Duo Twist…

“This season, some of Big Brother’s most familiar faces will be re-entering the house for another shot at the game!”

Next it says:

The listed couples are:

– Dr. Will and Mike Boogie
– Jessie and Natalie

So who would you like to see return to the Big Brother house? My first thought was that
I wouldn’t want to see the past Big Brother winners return (Evel, Dr. Will, etc.), but then I
remembered how much fun they are in the house and now I’m not so sure. I definitely
don’t want to see Jessie and Natalie come back–please NO BB!

I don’t know if CBS is going to pick or are they deciding by the vote. I think it’s a good
twist. It works on Survivor, so why shouldn’t it work here?

Tomorrow, tomorrow, we love you Big Brother 13 cast reveal is tomorrow!

So what’s so special about tomorrow you ask? Well, tomorrow we will be exactly 1 week until Big Brother 13 starts on TV and we will be finding out the poor unfortunate souls who will be subjected to our watching their every move for the next 3 months!

Yes from what we have been told, tomorrow we learn the Big Brother 13 cast and who will be in the Big Brother 13 house!

Thursday at 9:00am EST, 8:00am CST, 7:00am MTN or 6:00am PCT

Excited? We are…plus then I can change the graphics on my pages! 🙂

So we will be watching and talking. Then over the next day or so we will start speculating and getting to know the new cast of Big Brother 13!

I am very excited as everyone that Big Brother 13 is only 2 weeks away! I hope that our little slice of the Big Brother blogosphere is somewhere you will want to hang out and chill.

I know that we have had many extremely long comment threads…some over 500 comments which hey….IT IMPRESSES ME! I love all of the comments and enjoy the playful banter that ensues! 🙂

OK…so is it to late to change my mind on Big Brother 13?

I think in the back of my head for the past year I have thought…Big Brother 13 is going to be an all star season…but I am changing my stance.

I am almost 100% certain that this year will not be an all star season! Wanna know why? Here is why…

1. If it was, CBS would all ready be teasing the crap out of us that our favorites are coming back. Has not happened yet…
2. I was told via Twitter that @Kassting confirmed earlier this year that #bb13 was NOT an all star season.
3. Feels like it would be too soon since the last all star was BB7 was (after 6 seasons!) so that would mean BB14 will PROBABLY be the next all star season.

So since I am now resigned to accepting that Big Brother 13 is going to be another regular old season of Big Brother…who do you want to see in the house? What kind of people? What kind of age/sex/personality?

Let me hear from you….tell BBBlogger what you think who will be in the house in only 17 more days!

Early Birds Rejoice! Less than 3 weeks until Big Brother 13

So can you feel the anticipation building? Another blog post after being dormant for 8 months! Crazy stuff! I feel like I am calling my friends and saying “Guys! We are getting the band back together!”

When Does Big Brother 13 Start?

Well, we are so glad you asked! Big Brother 13 starts this summer on CBS. Oh, you want to know the actual date that Big Brother will once again be on TV.

Big Brother 13 begins on Thursday July 7, 2011.

For the record, BBBlogger has guessed the correct date the past 2 years! 🙂

So with only 56 days until we dust off the old Big Brother Blog, I just want to know who is ready and who will be here with us.

Just think, an entire summer of BBBlogger, BloggerGal, Donna Rose and Nat from BB9. What more could you ask for? 🙂

So start planning on making us your daily pit stop on the world wide web!
