SPOILERS or NO SPOILERS…that is the question

by BBBlogger on July 2, 2012

Okay, its July now…the real countdown has begun. As usual, BB14 rumors and ideas are flying around the Internet. If you want to check it out, read JT’s and Kevin’s comments in the previous blog. I’m sure you realize that it’s BB14 producers themselves spreading rumors to build excitement as we get closer to the big day, but it’s still fun to speculate!

Julie Chen will do a preview show on The Talk on July 12th, which just happens to be the same day as the season premiere. BB14 fans were hoping this show would air earlier to give us some information, but nope. Oh well, July 12th is going to be a busy day.

BBBlogger and I are trying to figure out how this blog should be run this season. I would love to see blogs as often as possible, but that would involve talking about things going on inside the house that haven’t been aired on the prime time shows–in other words SPOILERS. In past years, I’ve never released spoilers in my blogs. Spoilers are constantly flying in the comment section, but I only recapped each of the prime time shows. So tell me…what do YOU want? Blogs with SPOILERS or blogs without? We will go with the majority in the comment section, so please take the time to tell us.

Another option is I will blog something everyday (but not always say anything!) just to give you a clean page for your comments. It may be as little as “Okay here you go, clean page…comment.” Let us know what you think. I do know I find it hard to scroll through the comments when they get in the high numbers, so a clean page everyday may be better for everyone.

Remember that you do get a discount if you subscribe to the Live Feeds prior to the show starting. Why subscribe? Well, you know that there is going to be at least a couple HOH competitions that will go over the live show times. This is why I get it. I can’t stand not knowing what’s going on! Why is everyone always pushing the Live Feeds down your throat? Well, because owning a blog costs money and when you click on the Live Feed button through BBBloggers site, he makes a penny or two to help with his expenses. I’m sure you all know that he isn’t a bit pushy, so that’s why I am! 🙂

Star, I saw that you were having a problem with the Feeds, did you get it straightened out? If you didn’t email me at oursurvivorblog@gmail.com and I’ll see what I can do. If anyone else needs to email me that’s the address to use.

I did read the comment about more polls. I’ll coordinate this with BBBlogger. Anything else you want to see this season, just speak up.

I’m happy to be back with my BB friends. Hopefully, I can work two jobs, blog BB14, finish moving into my house, sell on EBay, watch the Olympics AND find some time to sit back and relax and enjoy the summer. It should be quite a ride!

Stay tuned…Bloggergal

Hello there! Remember me? BBBlogger?

Well everyone, I am back and better than ever! I feel like I am just waking up from a long nap and it is time to “get to work”!

I am going to be changing some stuff up, getting some new (and old) guest bloggers involved, a new chat room, and updated forum, more savings on the LIVE FEEDS and just pull back the curtain and let the inmates run the asylum in the comment section! (within reason…Big Brother Blogger is watching after all!)

The most chilled out, laid back, daily post opinion blog about the reality TV Show Big Brother is back baby! Since BB8 we are still kicking and this season we will see us hit 50,000 comments! I may just have to give out a few more iPods this year. 🙂

Big Brother Finale….Contains SPOILERS West Coast!!!!

by BBBlogger on September 14, 2011

The beginning of tonight’s Big Brother finale was great. They showed all the best minutes of all this seasons shows. I guess there were some good times, huh?

Even though we all know what happened in the first HOH competition, it was interesting to get to watch parts of it. It did reinforce the thought that Adam is one lousy Big Brother player. Seeing him in the second competition, well he’s just sad. Porsche fought for the HOH on that spinning thing, but I can understand her falling off. I wouldn’t have made it a minute! Spinning…ewwww! The best was Rachel’s face after winning. She was not affected at all by that endurance competition. I loved how she made sure everyone new that she could have gone around for a much longer time.

The final competition had Porsche and Rachel having to decide how HG’s finished a statement. It was kinda funny that Rachel didn’t get Brendan’s statement correct. She did get two correct, while Porsche didn’t get any correct! Rachel is the final HOH and gets to decide who will come with her to the final two.

In the meanwhile, back at the Jury House, tensions were high. Jeff still is really PO’d at practically everyone, especially now that Jordan is sitting next to him and is no longer in the house. From the advance segment, it looks like Kalia is going to vote for Rachel. The commercial is currently on and I surely hope that Rachel wins this thing and that she takes Porsche instead of Adam. Adam getting $50,000 so that Rachel can insure her win would NOT be the way this Big Brother should end.

After the commercial, Rachel does what I think was the right thing and takes Porsche to the final two. Adam, still delusional, thinks if he made it to the final two, he would have won the whole thing. Huh? He is fun and I’m sure I’ll be seeing him at future Reality TV show events. I think he was more interested in the popularity anyway. I look forward to meeting him someday!

Both Rachel and Porsche handled the questions from the Jury Members well. I did think that Rachel should have blamed emotions and living in a controlled environment for her hurtful remarks, but I think she did well for herself when she complimented Kalia. Kalia seemed happy with her answer. Porsche was relying heavily on her Golden Key interfering with her ability to show everyone how good she played. I don’t know if she convinced anyone with her answers. I sure hope not! The commercial is on again….waiting….waiting… my nerves!!!!

Next segment was the final speeches and the votes. From Danielle’s comment, it looks like she voted for Rachel. Rachel has Brendon, Jeff and Jordan, so she only needs one more of the other four to win. I have a funny feeling she’s going to win unanimously, but we shall see in a minute. Again we are waiting…waiting…waiting!!!

The first out HG’s make their appearance. Julie asks a number of questions, but only of Evil Dick, Cassie, Jeff (tons), Shelly and Kalia. You wouldn’t even know that Lawon, Dominic and Keith were even there. I don’t think that was nice.

Finally, the votes! Brendan votes for Rachel. Danielle voted for Porsche. Okay, I admit I was wrong. I really thought she was going to vote for the player who played the best. Jeff voted for Rachel. Shelly surprised the heck out of me and voted for Rachel. It shows that she didn’t let her emotions enter in to it. At this point, Rachel realized she was going to win because she knew she had Jordan’s vote and she started crying. Kalia also surprised me and voted for Porsche, but I’m sure (yea, right) that she wasn’t following Danielle’s lead, were you Kalia? Jordan predictably voted for Rachel giving her the win and $500,000! She should have one heck of a wedding and honeymoon! After the commercial, Julie revealed that Adam voted for Porsche. Really, Adam? Really? I was very disappointed in him.

The final thing is America’s Favorite Player and that was Jeff. I didn’t know who would win this, but there you have it.

Thanks everyone for all the compliments and well wishes. I’ll meet you at the new Survivor blog. If you aren’t into Survivor check out www.ourbigbrotherblog.com and www.ouramericanidolblog.com. I just purchased them and I’ll be getting them online shortly. Much hugs and kisses….Bloggergal

Another Season of Big Brother is Almost History!

by BBBlogger on September 14, 2011

Hi everyone!

Tonight brings the finale of Big Brother 13. It wasn’t the most memorable season, but fans all over the U.S. must have liked it because ratings were up. The last week or two is always anticlimactic for me. Once you get down to three, nothing exciting is happening in the house and everyone seems to lose interest. I notice comments on here are trickles where it used to be a flood!

There doesn’t seem to be overwhelming support for any of the three final HG’s. I think it’s a shame that some of the really strong, serious players were eliminated so early this season. Looking back now, I am surprised that the final three would be Porsche, Adam and Rachel. I’m going to have to stick with Rachel. She is an amazing competitor. Once she put her mind to winning this game, there really wasn’t any stopping her. Hopefully, she will beat Porsche today so that she gets to decide who sits next to her.

I’ll be back after the show on the East coast to post my final blog for this season. If you want to stick with me and Snakebit Sal/Luv2ShootPics, follow us over to www.oursurvivorblog.com. We will have some interesting blog posts. I’m in contact with Gillian Larson from Survivor and will be attending a number of events with past Survivor contestants. I’ll try to get their opinions and thoughts about Survivor South Pacific.

If it is okay for me to email you, please post a comment with just the word YES and I will add you to my email list. Come back tonight after the finale! Bloggergal

Big Brother…An Then There Were Three

by BBBlogger on September 9, 2011

Thanks to everyone for the concern for me! You all are the best! Just to quickly update you. My son stayed in the dark until the power came back on sometime during the night. He hasn’t looked in the refrigerator yet to see if the food is spoiled or not. He had work early today. I plan on helping him get an emergency kit together this weekend. He moved right around the time my husband lost his job and I never thought about it. My other concern is family and friends who are (very) flooded in Northeastern PA. The river has crested, but it went up amazingly high. I talked to some of my immediate family and everyone is good with no flooding. I’m not sure how many relatives and friends have water in their homes and businesses. So that’s it from me. Below you will find Snakebit Sal’s (aka luv2shootpics) summary of last night’s show and also SPOILERS for what happened after the show. DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW WHO WON HOH LAST NIGHT!

Thanks so much SS/luv2shoot or whatever the heck your name is 🙂 I appreciate your help. Let me know if you need to get even during Survivor! Bloggergal

It’s down to three people and one week to go!
After last night’s eviction, tonight’s POV completion is for an F3 slot and the power to remove the next jury member.
Adam seems to making his move late in the game and will be a F3 competitor. Adam gets his HOH key and they all go to check it out. I never saw so much bacon in my life. Gummy bacon and bacon stuffed toys. The dude is a real bacon freak.
Porsche made the first plea for help from Adam to remain in the game. She made a move to go to F2 and be an all newbie game. Rachel made her plea and then Jordan confronted Adam and in his non-committal way left Jordan hanging as to who he will nominate. She already has a feeling she will be going to be the next evictee.
Adam nominates Jordan and Porsche with Jordan as the supposed pawn. Adam said to the two nominees that they need to earn the veto if they want to remain in the game! All the DR conversations with the girls are basically the same, “I need to win to make F3”. Not only does it give that person an F3 spot but they get to decide who gets the third spot with the veto winner and Adam.
The veto competition is “The Jukebox Veto”. They must match events with evicted players. They all get off to a slow start but Porsche is stacking her blocks on the ground before she puts them up on the pole. Jordan is confused and slowing down. Porsche puts hers on the block and makes a mistake. She didn’t know how many were wrong and reworks her stack and wins the POV. Rachel cries because she lost and Jordan says “Oh well”. Rachel really has a breakdown believing she will be evicted. Jordan again comforts her.
Rachel talks to Porsche and makes her argument for staying. Porsche makes the comment about who to keep…Jordan, who she can beat in F3 comps or Rachel, who can compete and may not take her to the F2.
Porsche uses the veto to save herself and Rachel must go up. The mandatory speeches are made and then Porsche chooses Jordan for eviction. The wrong move in my opinion!
Jordan is so easy going and calm about the whole eviction. Jordan praised Rachel’s game and admitted that she helped to keep her in the game. She said they balanced each other out and maintained some sanity from Rachel. The goodbye messages from Adam and Rachel were heartfelt and nice to Jordan. Rachel said that she hopes they remain lifelong friends.
The Final HOH competition part 1 began in the Big Brother Mixer. They had to stand on a small pad and hang on to what were the mixer blades. They lowered them into the butter mix and sprayed them with icing. Adam started complaining of pain early and it spelled doom for his chances. He lasted about 25 minutes when the feeds cut out. When they returned about five minutes later he had dropped out. The girls still looked casual and in control. Again the feeds cut out, sheesh. Another five minutes later the feeds are back and Porsche is now struggling. The strain and pain are in her face. Porsche starts trying to communicate with Adam about the game if she drops. Porsche is worried about drowning and asks Adam to be sure he helps her when she drops. She is afraid to let go and fall into the butter batter. The feeds again cut-away. Porsche and Rachel have been up for almost 50 minutes. The feeds come back and it is evident that Porsche dropped and Rachel has won part 1 of the Final HOH competition.
Adam is complaining that his legs are killing him. The girls are sore but not complaining as much. They are looking for cold packs for their muscles.
Now we must wait for the next competition which will be between Adam and Porsche for the rite to compete against Rachel for the Final HOH!
Good night and have a good weekend.

Tonight’s Big Brother Reveals the Final Four

by BBBlogger on September 7, 2011

With only a week to go, Big Brother is in fast forward mode. Tonight, but taped from yesterday, we saw the Veto Competition, Veto Ceremony and HOH competition. Tomorrow we will see the nominations, Veto Competition, Veto Ceremony and eviction. That will leave us with the final three who will compete next week for the $500,000.

The Veto Competition was with OTEV (that’s Veto spelled backwards). He’s the Big Brother God-Like Power of Veto Competitions. The HG’s had to know the answer to OTEV’s question and then find a pie plate with the correct HG answer on it. Mostly the HG’s knew the correct answer, but finding the correct pie plate wasn’t as easy. The last to return to OTEV with the answer was eliminated each round. First eliminated was Jordan. She is not having a good Big Brother season. Second out was Rachel. That’s unusual, but it all comes down to luck I suppose. Third eliminated was Kalia and yes, the tears flowed and flowed and flowed. The last question was between Adam and Porsche and Porsche chose the wrong answer. She was first back to OTEV, but she realized her answer was wrong and had to go back. Adam wins the POV. Has he been laying low all this time? Hmmm.

Not mentioned during the show, but very evident on the Live Feeds is that Adam was harassed by everyone in the house for the entire week. Jordan kept asking him if she could trust him. Kalia and Porsche wanted him to take one of them off the block. Kalia hounded Adam, reminding him of the Newbie deal, etc. In the end, Adam chose to remain true to Rachel and Jordan and did not use the Veto. I’m not sure if this was the right thing for him to do, but since I think Rachel should win, I was happy that he did it.

So the nominations remained the same and the hounding of Adam continued. Would he vote to keep Porche or Kalia? Jordan talked to Rachel and asked if she would mind if she voted to keep Kalia. She wanted to prove that she stayed true to the end. If you remember, Kalia had a deal with Jordan to never put her up and Jordan wanted to return the favor. Of course, Jordan did this knowing full well that Adam was voting to evict Kalia. The tie-breaker went to Rachel and Kalia was promptly evicted from the BB house. Kalia’s fate was sealed when the Fortune Teller began speaking. All HG’s felt that Kalia would be very hard to beat in a memorization-type competition.

As I said above, the HOH competition involved memory. For an entire night, the Fortune Teller would laugh and the HG’s would have to run in and listen to her newest fortune. She had a fortune for every house guest. It was very important to remember it word for word. Rachel, since she couldn’t play, slept through the night in the HOH room. The sleep deprivation adds to your stress when trying to remember the exact wording. Julie would read a statement and each HG had to decide if it was true or false. The statements were only off by a tiny word here or there if they were false. I have to admit, I couldn’t remember any of the fortunes correctly and I heard them a number of times! Adam once again pulled off a win and he’s the newest HOH. Two wins in a row. Once again, I have to ask…has Adam been hiding in the grass or is he just finally finding his mojo?

I remember a conversation that Adam had with Jordan. He told her if it came to this (him winning HOH/Veto), he would let her have the power to chose who would be evicted. In other words, if possible Jordan would be off the block and she could pick either Rachel or Porsche to be evicted. Of course, the Veto is anybody’s to win and it is THE most important competition so far. Besides Adam, this person is guaranteed a slot in the final three and also gets to pick that third HG. I’m convinced that Rachel will do everything in her power to get that VETO around her neck once more. If she doesn’t, there is a chance she won’t be in the final three. After all, would you want to be standing next to her when the votes are cast? I do think that Rachel has played the best game and does deserve to win Big Brother 13.

Before saying goodnight, I have to comment about Shelly’s arrival in the Jury House. Jeff is PO’d with her big time. I don’t like Shelly, never did, but I do think she played a good game and he needs to grow up. She played him and she played him well. He shouldn’t act like a big baby over it. I did love when Brendan clapped while watching Shelly be evicted though!

Tomorrow night will be very interesting. I can’t wait to see the final three, but I am sad that our Big Brother season is almost at a close. I guess Survivor will be everyone’s fall addiction. Good night…Bloggergal

Rachel Once Again Controls the BB House

by BBBlogger on September 4, 2011

Tonight we saw the completion of the HOH competition. To quote Adam, “Rachel is like a robot”. She is a determined competitor and she pushed and pushed and won HOH. Adam came in a respectable second this time.

Immediately Kalia and Porsche ran to Rachel and promised her heaven and earth if she would just keep them safe. Rachel, rightfully, doesn’t know who to trust. At this point in the game, you really can’t trust anyone, but this seems like a “no brainer” to me. Kalia and Porsche have to be separated.

The Pandora’s Box segment was a lot of fun. As soon as Adam came into the house, you just knew eventually Tori Spelling would show up. Adam was so cute and happy to meet his star crush. Rachel did a great job with Jesse upstairs. She has some acting ability. Maybe that should be her career goal.

I wonder if Rachel spent any time thinking that this might be her chance to get rid of Jordan. Did I hear you gasp? Think about it. Last time Jordan went to the finals, she won. Is she the one you want to take to the finals? This is the difference between Rachel and Shelly though. Rachel, even if she thought about it, stayed loyal to Jordan and her alliance.

After much ado about nothing, Rachel does the predicted thing and nominates Kalia and Porsche for eviction. Everyone will have the chance to win POV and change the direction of the game once again. I bet you know what happens, but I’ll wait until Wednesday to talk about it.

Wednesday is a special eviction episode. See you then! Bloggergal

Big Brother’s Shelly is Shown the Door!

by BBBlogger on September 1, 2011

Finally, Shelly is out of the Big Brother house! Thank goodness. I know she had her own style of playing, but I couldn’t take it another minute. Kalia voted to evict Adam, making the eviction 2 to evict Shelly and 1 to evict Adam. Jeff is going to be happy to see her walk in and even happier to voice his opinions to her. Should make for some good TV next week.

Don’t count that Fortune Teller out of the game yet! As I mentioned before, the live cameras have zeroed in on something on the table in the room with the FT. Could it be a coin to make her work? We shall see!

On the whole, Brendan, Danielle and Jeff acted like mature adults when the three realized they were all in the Jury House together. Danielle did gloat a bit over Kalia getting Jeff out, but Danielle does realize it was all her doing that made the three of them end up in Jury instead of in one of the winning chairs. Brendan looks better when he doesn’t shave (my opinion!). Jeff was really upset when he realized that he accidentally through the clown shoe out of his bin and it was sitting right next to him. If he had just glanced over, he would have won POV. Oh well, no crying over spilled shoes???

The HOH was a physical competition involving crawling, running and diving through icing-type muck to pick up donuts and return them to a pole. The HG that put the most donuts on in a certain length of time (12 or was it 13 minutes?) wins HOH. Everyone started out okay. Adam was actually almost keeping up with Rachel, but you just know after a handful of trips, he would get slower and slower. The same goes for Kalia. I’ve been watching the live feeds this week and Rachel, Jordan and Porsche work out the hardest–walking and running around and around the yard. Since Porsche can’t compete, that leaves Rachel and Jordan. I won’t say who won, but I bet you can guess! Check the comments–the spoilers are out.

I will say that I’m happy with the results of the HOH. Let’s see who gets nominated this week. We are getting down to the wire! Have a good weekend. Bloggergal
