Hey Big Brother Blog faithful! It is that time of the week again. The noms have been made, the veto has been played, the people on the blog have changed and now it is time to evict one of the Big Brother 13 house guests from the house.

This week due to the couple twist and Rachel winning veto…..Rachel and Jordan are safe! The part that makes it even more crazy is that…they will be able to VOTE OFF who they want since only Rachel, Jordan and Kalia will be voting! How is that for flipping the house!

So without any further ado…

Please cast your vote for Shelly or Adam. Who do you want to see evicted from the Big Brother 13 house!

Peace, BBBlogger

I have to admit, I enjoyed watching Rachel win the POV. I know I say this every blog, but Adam was first off. He muttered to himself “embarrassed”, yep, I think you should be! Jordan was second off and her reaction to losing was a bit strange. She said she doesn’t like pain and after all this isn’t Survivor. Hmmm, but yet she wants to win? I lost a little respect for her with that statement. Shelly was the next to drop. She cannot win a competition and I don’t believe you should win Big Brother if you can’t win a competition. You hear me, Adam? Porsche dropped next, leaving Kalia and Rachel battling. You could see how strong Rachel is when she had her legs wrapped around Dummy Brendan. There was no way she was going to lose that one. Are you thinking this competition was made for Rachel? After the Pandora’s Box twist comes a competition made for Rachel. No, must be just coincidental–right? Hmmm….

Watching the Shelly/Jordan apologies (again–I saw them on live feeds) made me sick. She just keeps spouting garbage. If she had apologized to Jordan prior to the Veto, maybe, just maybe you could believe her, but she didn’t did she? Shelley waited until she was in trouble and then she went and did what she had to do. Hopefully, it doesn’t help her AT ALL.

At least now Shelly is saying the truth in the DR. She told Rachel and Jordan what she thought they wanted to hear and then admitted in the DR that she is doing everything she can to get to the final three. Shelly actually even swore on God that she was telling the truth. I don’t advise standing too close to her for a long, long time–you never know when lightning will strike.

I”m sure this is obvious, but, Rachel takes herself and Jordan off the block and since the only duo left is Shelly and Adam, they are the replacement nominees. The only three votes for eviction will be Rachel, Jordan and Kalia. This basically gives control of who will leave the house to Rachel and Jordan…let the butt kissing commence!

Big Brother mentioned a tease for tomorrow’s show about how things get heated in the Jury House when Brendan, Jeff and Danielle get together. I’m thinking the Live Feeds might be better to watch in the Jury House then in the Big Brother house. So, it’s almost time for the live eviction. I’ve been monitoring the live feeds and it looks like Shelly will get voted out, but never count your chickens before they hatch. I’ll be on pins and needles until I see Shelly walk out that door.

Good night all! Bloggergal

Will Pandora’s Box Tilt the BB House Power?

by BBBlogger on August 28, 2011

Tonight’s Big Brother show filled in all the holes from the beginning of the Double Eviction on. We were able to see the conflict between Shelly and Jeff when Adam finally told him that Shelly was voting to keep Danielle. Jeff even when voted out still couldn’t comprehend that Shelly voted to evict him. He even turned to Adam and asked if he voted him out.

The fight between Shelly and Jordan was the next spectacle. I was very proud that Jordan finally spoke her mind and let Shelly have it. The way Shelly was talking to Jordan just floored me. She really is unbelievably evil. She makes ED look like Mr. Nice Guy.

The HOH competition was extremely tense. You could cut the tension with a knife. Porsche was really good when practicing this game, so her winning isn’t too much of a surprise. It also isn’t surprising that the first one out of the competition is once again Adam. Sometimes I wonder if he really isn’t even trying to win. After all, he keeps floating and floating and floating.

Having Jeff eliminated takes quite a toll on Jordan and Rachel. After losing the HOH competition to Porsche, they know they will be nominated for eviction. What these two veterans need is a miracle. A miracle? Oh wait, what’s this Pandora Box twist? Porsche opens Pandora’s Box. She receives $5,000, but unleashes the duo twist back on the house. What that means is that the remaining HG’s have to play in teams of two. The HG’s get to pick their partners. Porsche quickly asks Kalia to be her partner and Rachel asks Jordan. This puts Shelly and Adam together whether they like it or not. This is a very big advantage for Rachel and Jordan. Even though they haven’t announced it yet, it is pretty obvious that they will be nominated for eviction. But only one of them needs to win the Veto to take both of them off the block. If they are able to do this, then Shelly and Adam would automatically be put on the block and we will finally see Shelly walk out that door.

If you watch the Live Feeds, you know that the Fortune Teller has started to light up and move. She used to have a sign that said “Do Not Disturb”, but now that sign is gone. Shelly spends hours and hours trying to figure out how to get the Fortune Teller to speak to her or give her something. So far, nothing. At one point, the live camera feed goes to the coffee table and zeros in on a box. I take this to mean that there is something inside that box that will get the Fortune Teller to give something to the HG who figures out what to do. I sincerely hope that the player is NOT Shelly. I think it’s kinda strange that the only one interested in the Fortune Teller seems to be Shelly. Why aren’t the other HG’s interested?

So that’s it for tonight. Wednesday will show who is nominated for eviction, as well as the Veto competition and ceremony. See you then! Bloggergal

I’m too lazy to read through the comments so I don’t know if this has been reported, but Shelly is up to her old tricks again. She had a “heart to heart” with Jordan and continued to lie, lie, lie. I actually had a hard time reading what she was saying! I do have to admit, she sure can play this game. She continues to move to whomever can get her further in the game. Hopefully, Jordan is smart enough to realize that she is continuing to “play” her. Of course, Shelly’s tears were flowing. She’s quite the actress. Here are some of the things Shelly told Jordan. These may not be exact words.

Shelly: I am not on their side at all. If there is something I can do, I’ll do it (referring to Kalia/Porsche).
Jordan: I don’t understand why you sided with Dani. Shelly: I never sided with Dani.

Jordan actually apologized to Shelly for her outburst! Shelly too apologizes to Jordan. Shelly kept bashing Rachel in an attempt to separate Jordan from her.

I know I wrote a ranting blog about Shelly and I don’t take back what I said, but I do have a very negative view of people who are taking a game like Big Brother and attempting to assert it into real life. Through Twitter and Matt Hoffman and Ragan Fox, I have read some horrible comments about how people are attacking Shelly and her family in the “real” world. Not on this site–thank goodness! Things like that are totally uncalled for! One comment has even been sent to the FBI, that’s how serious of a threat it was.

If Shelly makes it through this next week, I will be unhappy, but totally in awe of her. She is playing one heck of a Big Brother game. I think I said this before. I think so many people dislike her not because she is playing the game so well, but that she doesn’t admit she is playing the game when she is in the DR. If she lied to everyone and then went in to the DR and said “Yep, I’m lying to everyone. Aren’t the other HG’s real suckers?” Then you could at least understand her a little better.

Another topic that is flying around the Internet is whether Rachel is pregnant. That really isn’t any of our business, but wait, is it? Is there any chance that Rachel has planted that in all the HG’s heads so that if she does make it to the final two, she might have a slight advantage? Something to think about!

Have a good Sunday. I hope everyone in the East gets to dry off very soon and the West gets a break from this paralyzing heat. See you all tonight. Bloggergal

The Big Brother Newbies Seem to Have the Upper Hand

by BBBlogger on August 25, 2011

I was up half the night with the goings-on in the BB house. Danielle seemed to be getting Rachel’s vote. Rachel wanted assurance that Shelly was with Danielle and Porsche. Danielle, Shelly and Rachel met in the storage room and both Rachel and Shelly said they were in to save Danielle. Now this isn’t in order, but at some point Rachel went to Jeff and asked him if he threw the corn husk veto so that Adam could take himself off the block. Well, we all know he did, but he denied it vehemently. Rachel was upset about this because when Adam came off Brendan was put up and out the door. Jeff asked Rachel “who told you” and she replied Shelly. Finally, the bells went off in Jeff’s head and he realized that Shelly has been playing all sides from the very beginning. Then, he decides not to confront Shelly until after tonight’s eviction. But evidently, Jeff and Shelly did have a blow-up, but BB didn’t have it on the live feeds, so no one knows exactly what happened.

Okay on to tonight’s show. I don’t know if Rachel was always playing Danielle, but in the end, she voted her out, along with Adam and Jordan. Shelly stayed true to her (final!) word and voted to keep Danielle and of course Porsche did the same.

The HOH competition was Before/After questions. First to be eliminated Adam (again). I didn’t write down the order of the rest, but it came down to Kalia against Jordan for the final question. Kalia had it correct and won HOH. Oh wait, I forgot to comment about how Rachel called Danielle a bitch in her goodbye speech. I’m sure many of you mentioned “karma” and it sure seemed to be in play during this HOH comp!

Kalia went arm in arm with her two best buds (at least for that moment) Porsche and Shelly to decide who would be on the block. Not that it was such a hard decision. Kalia puts Jeff and Rachel up, as well she should have from a game point of view. One of the Jeff/Jordan couple needed to go out the door.

Veto competition players were picked during a commercial and the only one not playing was Jordan. It was find two shoes in a big bin of balls and do it first to win. Not much skill in this one. More luck than anything, I think. Porsche wins. She doesn’t use the veto.

During the commercial, Jeff was pressuring Shelly to vote to keep him. I didn’t see the blow-up between the two of them, but I’ve seen Jeff pissed off, so I’m guessing she wasn’t falling for that “by-gones be by-gones” line. (How do you spell that anyway?) So the voting commences and Adam and Jordan vote to keep Jeff, while Porsche and Shelly vote him out. Kalia is the tie-breaker and Jeff gets sent out the door. I like Jeff, but he can be a bully, so I’m not disappointed. I would rather have seen Danielle stay in the game than him. He sits down to speak with Julie and he’s spitting nails (teehee). I love when a BB player realizes that they are no longer “King of the HOH”.

So, do you think they transported Danielle and Jeff separately to the Jury House? Probably. I can’t imagine the two of them sharing a ride. At least Danielle was spared the suffering of being in the jury house with Rachel and Brendan.

I didn’t hear Julie about this week’s HOH competition, so fill us in if you know when it will take place? TGIF Bloggergal

It is that time again, time for BBBlogger to open up the Big Brother Blog diary room and find out who you think deserves the boot this week.

Either Daniele or Kalia will be leaving tonight. Daniele has been setup to be shown the back door but is that the best move for everyone else in the house?

I honestly think that Dani is a threat and this should be the best move for the returning house guests…however, if the alum are not careful, the newbies might just reclaim the house!

…but it does not matter what I think. All that matters is what YOU, the readers and commentors of Big Brother Blog think. So I turn it over to you…the diary room is now open.

Who do you cast your vote to evict this week? Daniele or Kalia?

Peace, BBBlogger

Big Brother Has a Visit From the Zingbot

by BBBlogger on August 24, 2011

Since Danielle has a pass to play in this week’s Veto Competition, there are seven players playing this week. The only HG not playing is Rachel. At this point in the game, all the HG’s realize how very, very important it is to win the Power of Veto, well, except for Adam and Shelly.

Was it just me, I couldn’t understand hardly anything the Zingbot said. I kept rewinding, but it didn’t help me. Oh well, I don’t think it really mattered to me anyway.

Both Shelly and Adam threw the Veto. They were mostly just walking around with the puzzle pieces and not trying at all. Not that I think they had a chance of winning anyway. Continuously throwing competitions will be your downfall in the end (hopefully!) Jeff kicked butt again and won the Power of Veto. Danielle, Porsche and Kalia know they have to suck up to Jeff “big time”.

Every Power of Veto winner goes into the DR and says that they aren’t sure what they are going to do. Then they go and stare at the picture wall with that serious look on their face. I think once in a while BB can switch it up and let the player do what he/she wants. I would like to see the Power of Veto winner go up to the picture of who he/she dislikes and throw the finger. Teehee. Oh well.

When Jeff used the Veto on Porsche, Rachel looked very frightened. Evidently, she didn’t trust Jeff that he wouldn’t backdoor her. Not that I can blame her. But Danielle ends up on the block, not Rachel.

I don’t reveal in my blogs what is happening on the Live Feeds, but what is going on since the Veto is crazy. Shelly is all over the place telling everyone what they want to hear. Adam, well don’t get me started on Adam. When oh when will the HG’s figure out what is really going in the BB13 house? Could it be that they don’t figure it out before it’s too late? I sure hope not!

I’m so looking forward to the Double Eviction tomorrow night. I like to watch the show when something (alright anything ) is going on! See you tomorrow night, but not until after it airs on the West Coast. G’nite Bloggergal

My Personal Rants on BB13’s Shelly

by BBBlogger on August 22, 2011

If you read my blogs, you know I very rarely state a strong opinion on a BB13 player. I’ll tell you who I like and who I don’t like, but I think this is the very first time I’ve written a blog AGAINST a player. Yes, I think it’s a bit personal. I’ve seen too many executives in high positions make decisions and not once think about the employees they will hurt with those decisions. Has Shelly done this in her career? I have no idea, but I’ve learned that you don’t get to the top by being nicey-nice. This is exactly what Shelly is doing in the BB house.

I found this bio on Shelly on the Internet. It was connected to an article about her being promoted to Vice President at NBFog. It was dated February 2011.

Prior to joining NBFog, Shelly managed her own business, M3 Product Solutions, providing outdoor retail customers’ product development and sales solutions. Handling a variety of products from initial concept to sourcing in the United States, the orient, and the pacific rim, she has worked with several entrepreneurs, assisting them with product and brand development to bring new, innovative products to a variety of markets and diverse distribution channels.

Shelly also served as COO of John Marshall Design out of Baton Rouge, LA. During her five years, she oversaw the expansion of the product line from ceiling fans and ceiling fan accessories to full product line offerings for complete home and lodge decoration, to include bedding, draperies, and bath accessories. Company sales doubled every year during her tenure. She handled all operations internally as well as handling the sourcing of everything from textiles to hard goods.

Shelly cut her teeth in the outdoor industry as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Robinson Outdoors, expanding the ScentBlocker® and Scent Shield® brands from $4 million in sales to $18.8 million in four years. She was also a key member in the acquisition of Whitewater Outdoors in 2003.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Sportsman’s Legacy Foundation. Shelly is a mom to a beautiful seven year old little girl, and proud wife to a former US Marine and owner of a pool restoration, remodel, and maintenance company.

Being a feminist, I say good for her. I always like to see women work their way up the corporate ladder. So, where am I going with this? Did you hear Shelly talking like Kellie Pickler from American Idol? She never heard of hummus. She couldn’t pronounce Guacamole. I’m finding it very hard to believe that someone with the above credentials would talk like that. IMO, Shelly is playing the HG’s and the rest of America or should I say trying to play us. I’m not falling for it. Shelly took sales of that one product from $4 million to $18.8 million in four years. That is no easy feat. Shelly is smart-very, very smart.

I see comments on this blog comparing Shelly and Rachel. Yes, they both lie playing Big Brother. EVERYONE lies playing BB. That’s the whole idea of the game. It’s not that Shelly lies. It’s the way she lies and presents herself. I know that if I still had a seven-year-old child at home and I went into the BB house, I would miss her terribly. But wait, I’m a VP. Why am I going into the BB house? Why don’t I stay home with my seven-year-old and my stay-at-home hubby? That’s right, I want to be on Big Brother. No matter what the reason, if I was in the Big Brother house, it would be by MY choice. I don’t think someone came to Shelly’s home, kidnapped her and dragged her into the BB house. So, what I think is that Shelly uses her daughter as a way to manipulate the other HG’s. It worked on Jordan, didn’t it?

Speaking of spending the summer in the BB house, I wonder how many of us could get our employer to give us the summer off to play on Big Brother? Also, how many of us could offer other HG’s six figure jobs?

I wish I had the money to hire one of those planes to fly over the BB house with a “Shelly is playing all HG’s!” sign. Hopefully, the house guests aren’t falling for her innocent routine. I know that Jeff and Jordan talked alone about Shelly and agreed that they don’t trust her. In fact, they said they believe Rachel over Shelly. Someone mentioned in comments that they thought the final two are going to be Shelly and Adam. What a horrifying thought that is!

Okay so my ranting is over. I’m sure I’ll take a lot of flack in the comment section, but I usually don’t have time to read them, so sorry! 🙂 See you on Wednesday. Bloggergal

Big Brother Balance Shifts to Jeff’s Side

by BBBlogger on August 21, 2011

Sunday’s blog always seems so “after the fact” to write. I’m pretty sure all of you knew everything that happened on tonight’s show a few days ago.

First we were shown the rest of the HOH competition. Did they say how long it took for Jeff to win? I didn’t catch it, but it looked really grueling to me.

For the first time, my husband became very vocal about how much he hates Shelly (tee hee). I think she’s still doing a great job of working the HG’s.

So did anyone notice the color of Shelly’s skin during the segment about the kitchen table. I guess she’s using bronzing cream?

Ridiculously, Big Brother decides that Jeff gets to pick the Have Nots. Why? No other HOH was able to pick the HN’s. So, of course, he chose Porsche and Danielle because they had never been Have Nots and then threw in Kalia “their friend” to keep them company. I don’t think this was fair at all.

Jeff predictably nominated Porsche and Kalia for eviction with his plan being to backdoor Danielle. I love Danielle so I don’t want to see this happen, but it is the right thing to do for Jeff’s game. I’m looking forward to Thursday. I love double evictions! But before that, we still have to go through Wednesday’s Veto Competition. See you then! Bloggergal

Bye Bye Brendan (Again!)

by BBBlogger on August 19, 2011

Nothing really to comment about during the first half of tonight’s show, until Shelly’s daughter said on national TV that her mother should stop lying–from the mouth of babes! Did you check out Shelly’s house? My husband choked when he realized that Shelly’s husband is a stay-at-home dad. Sorry dear, a CEO I’m not!

Time for the votes. Brendan stressed that he will be the first Jury member and that he will be voting for the player who competes the hardest–not the floater. He also took the opportunity to call Danielle “Judas”. It didn’t seem to bother Danielle at all. Not surprisingly the only one voting to evict Shelly was Rachel. Brendan is gone for good this time (I hope!).

The HOH competition began during the live show. The HG’s had to fill a bowl with liquid racing back and forth on a very slippery path. Jeff and Porsche took a very early lead. Jeff with his powerful strides could make it back and forth quicker than anyone else and Porsche seemed at ease on the slippery surface–maybe she’s a skater? That was it for the live show. Check out the comments to find out who won.

Julie revealed that next Thursday is double eviction night. Yay–I love double eviction night! See you on Sunday. Bloggergal
