Big Brother 14 Wednesday Update

by BBBlogger on August 1, 2012

Not much new to report on in the Big Brother house. Everyone is on edge. The coaches seem to know that either all or some of them will be entering the game. Frank is kissing up to Wil trying to change his vote. Danielle is being watched closely because her vote could change at any minute. She’s constantly acting like a fool with Shane and he keeps rebuffing her and she doesn’t see that he is not interested. It’s getting pathetic. I don’t know about you, but the constant game talk that consists of the exact same conversations over and over and over are getting to me. Will Thursday ever come? Bloggergal

Big Brother 14 Tuesday Update

by BBBlogger on July 31, 2012

Okay here’s a quick summary. Shane is HOH. Frank and Joe are up for eviction. At this time (I think!), Ian and Jenn will be voting to evict Joe while Wil and Ashley will be voting to evict Frank. This leaves Danielle with the deciding vote. She is expected to follow Shane’s recommendation and vote out Frank. However, if by some chance before Thursday she realizes that Shane DOES NOT have any interest in her romantically, she may act like a woman scorned and vote out Joe. I sure hope she does!!!

All of a sudden the coaches are making plans for IF they get into the game. Hmm…Big Brother producers…lettin’ the cat out of the bag early, are we? If the HG’s realize this is a real possibility, will they change their minds and keep Frank? Stay tuned! Bloggergal

Last night’s show highlighted the coaches competition. There was a Big Brother gym and the coaches had to compete on some really weird gym equipment. Each round eliminated one coach and that coach had to open a locker with a prize or not (as in Brittany’s case). The first exercise involved moving back and forth on a “rocking horse” type gadget. I hate to be vulgar, but did that remind anyone else of anything? I’ll leave it there! Brittany (of course) came in last. Her locker card said that she had to pick two people to be Have Nots for the week. Once again, Ian volunteered. His theory is that the players will keep him around if he keeps volunteering. Brittany picked Joe as the second Have Not since he’s never been one.

The second activity involved hip action. This one eliminated Boogie. His locker had a card worth $10,000. It was divided up into three amounts $6,000, $3,000 and $1,000. It was up to Boogie who got what. Greedy rich man that he is, he kept the $6,000 for himself. Frank gave him the go ahead to give the money to his teammates. That was really nice of Frank, I thought! Boogie gave Ian the $3,000 and Jenn the $1,000. Ian was very emotional. He said he’s never had that much money at one time and was very grateful. Boogie did comment (not on the show) that he thought about asking if he could switch and give Ian the $6,000 instead. He hadn’t realized how important it was to him.

The third activity involved flicking a switch back and forth with your tongue. Janelle excelled at this. I couldn’t help but think…well, never mind! Dan picked the next card which was a sushi party for him and five HG’s. He chose all three coaches, Danielle and the HOH Shane.

Since Janelle was the winner she had the option of trading a player or declaring a player safe. Since she knew that Shane was going after Wil this week, she chose to give Wil his key.

Wil being safe threw the house into a bit of a spin. Now Shane had to decide if he would go back on his decision of keeping Frank safe. I think Brittany is a PIA with Shane. If I were him, I’d be telling her to just go sit down and shut up. When all was said and done, Shane put Joe and Ashley on the block. Ashley was crying big crocodile tears in the DR one minute and then smiling the next.

Spoiler time…

Shane once again wins the POV. He is now deciding if he wants to keep the nominations the same or change them up. Janelle is playing for all she’s worth and swearing allegiance if he will switch it up and nominate Frank. Before bed last night, Janelle, Brittany, Shane, Danielle, Ian, Ashley and Wil had a meeting up in the HOH and it was decided that Frank would be put up and out the door this week. Shane went downstairs to give the good news to Joe.

I had a thought I wanted to share. You know how it’s always announced that America is voting to give the coach a “choice” to enter the game. Maybe the plan is to have the Coaches Competition and whoever wins it has the choice to enter the game. What do you think about that?

As the comment section shows, a LARGE number of you are voting NO to the coaches entering the game. A number of past Reality game players are totally PO’d about Big Brother even considering this. I also read that JoJo has not surfaced on any social media giving the indication that she is in sequester, so I guess we shall see!

Have a great Monday all! Bloggergal

Big Brother 14…Sunny Sunday!

by BBBlogger on July 29, 2012

Hi All!

Just a quick blog update to get you a clean comment slate. Once again, Shane has won a competition–this time the POV. This guy is HOT and I don’t think the target on his back can get any bigger, can it? It looks like Joe will be going home this week, but it would probably be better for Shane to backdoor Frank. I don’t think he’s ready to turn on him yet though, which actually is a good thing if the coaches come back in the game.

I hear from all the comments that BBAD was very good last night, so I’m off to check it out! Have a great day. Bloggergal

Shane’s Picks for Eviction Are In

by BBBlogger on July 28, 2012

Olympics…Big Brother…Olympics…Big Brother…I’m having a hard time paying attention to both! So, I’ll admit I cheated and looked at all your comments to get my information. Shane has put Joe and Ashley on the block. Janelle once again won the coaches competition and declared Wil safe. Lucky for him because he was going out the door! I see that not all of you agree with Shane, but I think he did the right thing. He’s keeping Boogie and Frank on his good side, but he also has the opportunity to backdoor Frank this week.

The thing is if the coaches enter the game after this week, Shane is going to need Frank big time. Its too bad we know this and he doesn’t. I did watch a little bit of when Brittany was sitting alone in the HOH room talking to the camera. Say what you want about the gal, but she knows something is up and she thinks (knows?) the coaches are going to enter this game. I really think there had to be something in the contract that allowed for this contingency. They couldn’t have signed up to be coaches and then all of a sudden “surprise…you are a player now!”.

I didn’t catch who the Have Nots are this week, nor do I know what America chose as the foods, but I’m sure you’ll fill me in on that. I think I read that Ian once again is a Have Not. Okay, enough is enough Ian.

Enjoy your weekend, all! Bloggergal

Will the Big Brother 14 Coaches Become Players?

by BBBlogger on July 27, 2012

Surprise! Surprise! America gets to decide if the coaches come back in the game or not by a vote. I read all the comments, so I know that some of you feel like I do, that it won’t matter how we vote…those coaches are entering this game. From the beginning, it had to be the plan. There’s mixed feeling here on this blog. Some of you are adamant about the coaches NOT coming back and some are kinda resigned to the fact. Let’s face it, the show is boring and the coaches should instill some drama when they become players. Do I think it’s fair? Nope! But, hey what can you do?

To recap last night’s show, JoJo was evicted from the BB house. Shane stuck by her and was her only vote to stay. Julie never mentioned the Jury so I guess we can assume JoJo was not put into sequester.

The HOH competition was so unimaginative wasn’t it? The players had to hit a ball with a hockey stick. There were rows with numbers on them and the ball that landed in the highest number won. This seemed like a game of mostly luck and maybe it was, but Shane once again kicked butt. Some of the players, including Shane were trying to bank their shots, but mostly this backfired on them. Shane is HOH. Shane…Frank…Shane…are we seeing a pattern here?

Last night in the BB house, everyone was scrambling to try to stay off the block. Brittany is pushing for Frank, but she isn’t aware that Shane and Frank have a deal. Last I heard, it is going to be Frank and Wil. I hope that’s not the case. I don’t think its going to help Shane at all to break his alliance with Frank AGAIN so soon. These players need to utilize the “backdoor” strategy. Putting the players you want out on the block doesn’t mean they are going home.

Brittany admitted last night that it was her fault that Willie lost it in the house because she told her other team players to stay away from him. Ya think, Brittany? In actuality, Brittany has been the cause of most of the problems in the BB house so far! I’m not sure if she’s doing it on purpose or not, but she was lying up a storm last night. Shane seriously needs to play this game for himself and NOT listen to his coach.

Shane and Danielle made an alliance (showmance?) last night vowing to take each other to the final two. I don’t think she has the game in her to last until the end, but we shall see.

So shall we talk about the inevitable? What is going to happen when these coaches become players? All I see is them steamrolling over the current HG’s. If the coaches are added early enough, the current players may have a chance to gang up on the veterans immediately. This would be their only chance. Of course, I don’t see that happening. What I think will happen is that the coach and his strongest player will unite and cause much havoc! If Frank manages to squeak through this week and then Boogie is put into the game…Yikes! I also see Dan teaming up with Shane and Danielle, leaving Brittany hanging out to dry. You have to admit, it will make the game more interesting.

Have a good weekend! Don’t forget the Olympics start tonight…I’m very excited. Bloggergal

So did anyone else see another Chima incident this season? I mean what is up Willie. Did the first week power of HOH go right to that Hantz head or what?

As my friend Spider-Man learned, “With great power comes great responsibility!” but I guess Willie is not a fan! 😉

So not only did Frank NOT get evicted but he came back to win HoH and has been the man this week. Also Shane proved that he is a strong competitor and winning the 2nd POV in a row.

So after Shane used the POV and took himself off the blog (which is a smart move!) then the renomination of Danielle has brought us to this point.

So who will be leaving the Big Brother 14 house tonight. Will it be JoJo or will it be Danielle (putting Team Dan out the BB14 house!)

I would like to see Danielle gone and see what happens to Coach Dan but I am at a point where I do not really care. Besides, it does not matter who I want out, what matters is who do YOU, the reader of Big Brother Blog, the best opinion blog for Big Brother that is on the internet because YOU the reader are in charge of commenting, and talking about the show!

So what do you think: JoJo or Danielle? Who do you nominate for eviction tonight?

Please cast your votes in the comment section now!

Peace, BBBlogger

Big Brother 14…Shane Wins His Second POV

by BBBlogger on July 26, 2012

Good Morning!

As seen on last night’s BB14 show, Shane is definitely a force to reckon with. He won his second POV and saved himself from what would have been certain eviction. The competition involved searching for menu item titles and placing them on a board in the correct order in the fastest time. This was one of those “anyone can win” competitions proving Shane has some brains along with his brawn. Ian came in a close second.

Shane has been talking with Frank (and hence Boogie) about forming an alliance. If they stay true to each other, they would be very difficult to beat. Shane suggested to Frank that instead of replacing him with Danielle they should target Wil and get him out of the game. I thought this was a good idea, but Frank didn’t go for it. Sure, he wants Shane to piss of Janelle so he’s sitting pretty.

So, as expected, Danielle goes up on the block. It’s her against JoJo. As of the last time I listened, it looks like JoJo will be leaving the BB14 house tonight. Can’t say I’m sorry to see her go. I think they are idiots though. They have strong or potentially strong players and they vote out one of the two gals that haven’t really shown any game so far. This will eventually bite them in the butt, just like last week when they kept Frank in the game.

The choices for Have Nots this week are Garbanzo Beans and Giblets, Cereal and Salmon or Lima Beans and Lemon. Garbanzo beans and Giblets have to be the worst choice but America has been kind to our HG’s so far so it may just be Cereal and Salmon.

One thing that bothers me is when the HG’s bring up “floaters”. In this season of BB14, floaters are EVERYBODY except for Shane and Frank. It’s especially funny when you hear Wil or Joe say “we need to get rid of the floaters”. I guess in essence they know they should be outta there!

Have a great day today. Enjoy tonight’s live eviction. Bloggergal

Big Brother 14…Tuesday

by BBBlogger on July 24, 2012

With 78 comments on the previous blog post, I thought I’d start a new page. I’m listening to the feeds for a minute or two. Boogie and Joe are talking restaurants. Actually, I’m finding it very interesting. Joe just said that he needs to get an agent after the show because he wants to get a cooking show on TV. Anymore it seems all the Big Brother HG’s have ulterior motives.

Have a great day all!!! Bloggergal

Big Brother 14…Bye Bye Willie

by BBBlogger on July 23, 2012

Last night, Big Brother showed us what they wanted us to see of the Willie blow up. Let’s recap.

The coaches, except Brittany, were very concerned about the new twist involving the coach’s competition. No one wanted to see Brittany win and then trade Willie. Boogie, trying to be intimidating told Brittany that if she trades Willie, they will go after Shane. It was good to see her stick up for herself and tell him she was going to do what is best for her and her team.

The coaches had to wear these weird, restricting pants for their competition. The pants allowed them only to walk sideways. The competition involved grabbing a stack of “money”, sliding across a beam and re-stacking the money. If your money or you touched the ground, you are out of the game. Brittany took a very early lead. It’s a miracle because Brittany isn’t the best competitor! Of course, in Brittany style, she goes to grab a pack of money and knocks the other money over. She’s eliminated.

Dan is still sticking to his plan to lay low and come across as non-threatening, so he is once again throwing the competition. I haven’t heard anyone comment about this. You would think the other three coaches would be wondering why he’s so bad at competitions. Let me know if you caught a conversation that I missed.

It comes down to Janelle and Boogie. Boogie is slightly ahead and finishes his stack before Janelle. All he has to do is go back to the beginning and hit a buzzer. The buzzer has to be hit before stepping off the beam. Boogie starts celebrating, jumps off the beam and then hits the buzzer. He is eliminated. He’s shocked that he is eliminated…or did he do it on purpose? You just never know with Boogie.

Janelle wins the coaches competition. She doesn’t trade a player instead declaring Ashley safe for the week. Then she picks JoJo, Shane, Willie and Ian as Have Nots for the week. This is Shane’s second week as a Have Not. It’s around this time that you start seeing smoke coming out of Willie’s ears. Everyone senses that he’s on the edge.

When they go back in the house, they find out that America voted to give the Have Nots Pork Rinds and Pudding for the week. Since those aren’t gross items, the Have Nots aren’t too upset. In fact, Ian is thrilled.

Brittany is trying to get Willie to calm down, but IMO, she is just getting him more and more riled. He keeps saying he’s going to take the pressure of his teammates. He’s very upset that Shane and JoJo are being lumped in with him. Brittany finally says a really stupid thing. She tells him if he’s upset go up to the HOH room and tell them. He dashes up the stairs like it was a “dare”. Willie goes into the HOH room and mouths off. Before walking out he says that he will get evicted before he walks out that door. Yep.

He comes back downstairs and is still carrying on when Joe makes a comment. Willie flips out and goes after Joe. I’m pretty sure this part is very edited because it doesn’t really look like Willie does anything but push off Joe, but from what the other HG’s said he headbutted Joe four times. The HG’s also said that Willie was kicking at the DR room door to be let in and they wouldn’t let him in. Of course, all the cusses are bleeped out. Janelle was kind of taunting Willie from what I read, but this is kinda downplayed. To hear the Hantz side of the story click this link.
So, as we all know, Willie is removed from the game.

I think that Brittany was Willie’s downfall in this game. Do you remember when she went up to the HOH room last week and told Willie that she thinks the coaches are going to enter the game at some point? This was Willie’s turning point. He called that meeting with all the HG’s and then it was all downhill from there. Then, when Willie was clearly losing it, instead of keeping her mouth shut, she was the one that pushed him over. Willie should have had the smarts to walk away from everyone, find a corner and think everything through, but instead he reacted with a typical macho-guy swagger. I know opinions go back and forth about Willie. There are those that are glad to see him gone and then those that are disappointed. I’m disappointed. Who are we going to talk about now…Joe’s cooking? Ian kicking himself in the head? JoJo’s blue nails? Please Big Brother…please have some amazing twist up your sleeve!

Happy Monday all…Bloggergal
