Big Brother 14 POV Night

by BBBlogger on August 23, 2012

Last night on Big Brother 14, it was POV night as I call it. First we saw the draw for players. Shane drew Jenn. Boogie picked “player’s choice” and he chose Ian. Silly, silly man…Ian is NOT on your team. Frank also picked “player’s choice” and he chose his showmance partner Ashley. Ian, who is still laying very, very low (yep, his belly is hitting the ground like a snake!) decides immediately to throw this competition. When he does, BB shows Boogie commenting about it saying that Ian is playing bad. Really, Boogie? Think again buddy.

The contest is to estimate how many of a certain kind of candy there is. You write down your number. Everyone shows their numbers. At that point, the contestant has the chance to Stay or Fold. If you Stay and you are the closest to the number, you get a Lollipop point. Three lollipop points win the competition. If you are the farthest from the number, you are eliminated.

Boogie screws up early and is eliminated from the competition. At that point, he should have realized it didn’t matter what happens. He is NOT getting off the block. But, Boogie who lives in his own little conceited “I’m the man” world still thinks he has a chance to remain in the house.

Shane wants the POV and tries a little too hard. He is also eliminated. Somewhere along the line, Ian and Jenn are also eliminated. The final two are Ashley and Frank. Ditsy Ashley Folds which makes Frank automatically win. His number was closer so he would have won anyway, but still…Ashley…what were you thinking? Ashley can think, can’t she?

Frank of course is going to take himself off the block. Boogie gets this brainstorm that he can talk Shane into putting Dan in Frank’s place, so that Dan is voted out instead of him. It’s true that Dan needs to be out of the game soon also. The thing is that Frank and Boogie together are BAD for every other player. The Quack Pack will have nothing of it and don’t waver with the idea that Boogie will be evicted tonight.

At the POV ceremony, Frank takes himself off and Shane replaces him with Jenn. So, was that a deer in the headlights look on dear Boogie’s face? I wonder what footage BB will show of Boogie after finding out that he was up against his ally Jenn? He said some things that were just horrible, but not fit for regular TV.

I sure hope that we get to see Boogie’s reaction when he finds out that innocent Ian has been playing him the whole time. That “like father, like son” statement that Ian made in the Diary Room is a classic.

Tonight is going to be very exciting! A whole show with not one, but TWO evictions should not be missed! I predict that the second HOH will be held on the Live Feeds, so if you don’t have them, you might want to get them now. The next couple of weeks are going to be fun to watch. Finally, Big Brother 14 is heating up.

Last Night in the BB14 House

by BBBlogger on August 22, 2012

Here is what’s been going on in the Big Brother 14 house. Frank and Boogie continue to scheme to try to find a way to keep Boogie in the house on Thursday. Since Ashley and Frank are having a bit of a “showmance”, they pull her in. Or do they? Ashley all of a sudden has become impossible to read. She’s lying to someone, but I’m not sure who. She tells Jenn she is voting off Boogie and she tells Frank that she is voting off Jenn.

In the meanwhile, Joe talks to Frank last night and admits that he is voting Boogie out. He tells Frank that it is better for his game. Frank stays calm and tries to convince him voting Jenn out is the better move. IMO, Joe doesn’t have a “better” move. Either move doesn’t help him at all. His only hope is to keep sliding under the radar and then luck out and win something.

Ian is still playing both sides of the fence. He acts very upset and angry with Frank/Boogie/Ashley and then assures Shane/Brittany/Dan/Danielle that he is voting Boogie out. He “seems” to be telling Shane and his crew the truth and lying to the others, but do we really know what Ian is thinking? With Joe voting to evict Boogie, it won’t matter anyway.

Brittany is very frightened of the ball with the question mark on it and I don’t blame her. What twist does BB have up its sleeve now? Whatever it is, it had better not save Boogie! Hopefully this ball won’t come into play until next week.

Everyone is expecting a game that deals with the mind rather than being physical. Since we know that it is a double eviction week, this is most likely true for at least one of the competitions that will be held on Thursday. Ian has been getting a bit cocky thinking no one can beat him at certain games. We shall see young man. The time to prove yourself is just around the corner.

Tonight is the Veto competition and ceremony. Should be fun to watch Boogie’s reaction. Bloggergal

Shane Slip and Slides into Power on BB14

by BBBlogger on August 20, 2012

Sunday night’s Big Brother show gave all those without the Live Feeds a glimpse at Thursday’s HOH competition. For the record, the HG’s had to slide across a slippery pathway with a tiny cup filled with liquid and fill up an empty bottle. They had a choice of three bottles: HOH, Safety and $10,000 prize. The first one to fill up the bottle wins. In the beginning Shane, Ian and Danielle were the only three going for the HOH. Brittany, Joe, Ashley, Jenn and Dan were all going for Safety. Boogie was the only HG to choose $10,000. I would have hated this comp because I can’t stand sliding. When it’s icy outside, I stay inside! The trick to this competition was knowing where to start putting your liquid from the very start. I think if Dan had chosen the HOH bottle over the Safety bottle, he would have given Shane a run for his money. I also think that when Brittany won the Safety and the other HG’s had to switch bottles that they all should have gone after the $10,000. They could clearly see by that time that Shane had a large lead with the HOH bottle. I would have loved to see someone grab that $10,000 out from under Boogie.

Speaking of that $10,000, Frank was upset that Boogie chose cash over trying to win the HOH. He showed absolutely no loyalty, just greed (as usual). I think he figured that if the HG’s were going to go after someone, it would be Frank and not him. At that point, Frank should have ran upstairs and threw Boogie under the bus.

When the nomination ceremony took place, Boogie was all smiles when he realized he had been placed on the block. I think that Boogie has such an appreciation for the game that he couldn’t help but be amused that he had been played. The way Big Brother showed clips, it looks like Ian was the mastermind behind the whole Frank/Boogie nominations. I’m not sure if Ian was the first to mention it to Shane or not. I have to admit, it is gutsy of Ian to break away from Frank and Boogie. Since the HOH competition will have to be a short one on Thursday, it most likely will be questions. I’m hoping Ian wins. I just feel bad though that if he does win HOH, he won’t get the pleasure of having the HOH bedroom and all its perks since he will only be HOH for an hour!

Big Brother 14 POV Spoiler

by BBBlogger on August 19, 2012

Wow! There were 178 comments on yesterday’s blog. At this rate, we will hit our 50,000 comment this season. BBBlogger…how are we going to celebrate?

Just for the record, this is another SPOILER blog.

As you know, Frank and Mike Boogie are up for eviction this week. The POV was held yesterday and Frank or as everyone is calling him the “cat with 9 lives” once again pulled off a victory. The final face-off was between him and Ashley and Frank won. The HG’s are speculating if Ashley threw the competition. Maybe when we see it, we will be able to tell if she did or not.

Boogie isn’t so calm and mellow now! He is going to have to pull a rabbit out of his hat to get out of this one. Shane is leaning towards using Jenn as the pawn. Boogie would love to see Dan up next to him so he can try to sway the votes his way. Boogie and Frank were trashing the other HG’s last night calling them “idiots” etc. It’s always sad to see the soon-to-be-evicted slide into a mean, desperate, clawing spiral.

If Frank wins HOH during the double eviction on Thursday, it will be one interesting night. If anyone else wins, Frank stands a good chance of being evicted on the same night as his best buddy. I don’t really have a favorite this season, but I do admit it would be fun to see both Frank and Boogie evicted on the same night. I also wouldn’t mind seeing Boogie and Dan evicted on the same night. Coaches be gone!!!

As I’m sure you all heard, the Live Feeds were down for around 7 hours yesterday. It started with the POV, but we don’t really know what happened to keep them off so long. One of the rumors was that someone was sick. This could have been Joe because the other HG’s keep asking him how he feels now. Most of the HG’s mentioned taking long naps after the POV. A lot of the fans are pretty upset with the way CBS has been handling the Live Feeds this season. Fish and trivia are popped on whenever anything is said or done in the BB14 house. However, the main reason I get the Live Feeds is for the endurance competitions. I want to watch them live and the only way to do that is to subscribe to the Feeds.

That’s it for today. Tonight we will see Boogie’s face when he gets nominated. Bloggergal

I haven’t read yesterday’s comment section yet. I like to give you my take on everything before I read yours. So here’s what is new in the Big Brother 14 house. This is all SPOILERS.

I loved having the Live Feed last night. I wanted to be there after Boogie and Frank were nominated for eviction. Of course, that does mean that I’m exhausted today! After the nominations Boogie and Frank went up to the HOH with Shane. Boogie, showing his BB experience wasn’t ranting and raving. Instead, he played the hurt “how could you do this to us” card. Shane really disappointed me because instead of acting like a man and saying he nominated them because he needs to get them out of the house, he let Boogie place the blame on Brittany. Shane was sitting there agreeing with everything that Boogie and Frank said. “You are right, I shouldn’t have nominated you. I decided only an hour before nominations. Everyone told me you were gunning for me” and so on. It was so sickening that I changed the feed to Brittany and Danielle.

This isn’t to say that the Brittany and Danielle’s feed wasn’t just as sickening. They were Boogie/Frank bashing. I guess they felt guilty because they kept trying to justify the nominations. Jenn and Ashley were in the room with them. Both were shocked that the big guns were up for eviction instead of them. At one point, Brittany went up to the HOH room to “save” Shane and Boogie asked her to leave.

Ian was walking around not sure exactly what to do. Dan, another BB professional was laying on the couch reading the Bible. Good job of trying to look totally innocent Dan. Joe was in the kitchen cooking, as usual.

Jenn took advantage of the four gals alone to state that she thinks they should stick together. She brought up a conversation on TV that Boogie had with Rosie O’Donnell. Rosie asked why the women in Big Brother never form an alliance and the men always do. I don’t know what Boogie’s reply was but you can bet he was thinking “because men rule, that’s why”. Choke, choke. They agreed to stick together, but I don’t think that Jenn and Ashley really believe that Brittany and Danielle have their backs.

When Frank and Boogie left the HOH room, Brittany went up to see what was said. Shane, realizing that he would get caught, admitted that Frank and Boogie were blaming her for their nominations. He told her that he didn’t really talk them out of believing that. Brittany was PO’d. She couldn’t believe that Shane let her take the fall. So Brittany marched on downstairs and confronted Boogie and Frank. She asked why they thought it was her that talked Shane into nominating them. This went back and forth for awhile. Fish interrupted conversations when BB didn’t want us to hear or see what was going on.

Ian also had his time with Frank and Boogie. He did a great job of acting indignant about the nominations. I’m really starting to think this kid has it in him to win this game. Boogie and Frank are so caught up in themselves, they don’t even suspect him of turning on them.

Danielle went up to the HOH to check on Shane. This was the most interesting part of last night for me. They are talking kind of nonchalantly when Shane lets it slip that when he was in the DR before the nomination ceremony, the producers were asking him whether he was sure he wanted to nominate Frank and Boogie. Big Brother only cares about the ratings, they don’t care about the game. Of course as soon as Shane said this, the Live Feeds went to fish. Here’s hoping they don’t come up with a way to keep both Boogie and Frank in the game.

Let me interrupt this for a minute and tell you about another slip that a Big Brother HG had. Boogie was asking about how they knew how to dress for a specific competition and Danielle replied, “Rich (Meehan, Co-Executive Producer) told us when he was telling us who to vote for.” (Flashback 8/16 2:55 p.m. F2) Now maybe this doesn’t mean what it sounds like because it is taken out of context, but then again, maybe it does.

Okay, let’s go back to last night. Eventually, Frank and Boogie got around to blaming Dan for them being nominated. The only one who hasn’t been blamed of the Quackpac is Ian. The other four are trying very hard to protect him and not get him involved. Danielle wants to be blamed because she can’t stand NOT being the center of attention, but no one really sees her as the power in the house. LOL BTW, she did get to sleep with Shane last night, but even though she was all over him, he didn’t show any interest. Please stop this Danielle. Your family must be so embarrassed.

So I figure that Boogie is working very hard on getting another “biggie” nominated and evicted instead of him or Frank. Since Brittany is safe this week, that can only be Dan. I can’t imagine Shane turning on his alliance of five so Thursday should see either Frank or Boogie walking out that door. Don’t forget that Thursday will be a double elimination day. That means that an HOH, a Veto Competition and an Eviction will all be held Live. So what that also means is that TWO Big Brother players will be exiting the BB14 house on Thursday. Whomever of the two, Frank or Boogie, remains in the BB house MUST win HOH or the Veto Competition. Otherwise, my crystal ball shows Frank and Boogie sharing a limousine outta there! Teehee.

Oh, wait a minute…I forgot to mention the ball with the question mark on it. There was an outdoor lockout and when the HG’s returned to the house, there were balls on the floor leading to the Crane machine filled with balls. Sitting in the middle of all those balls is a ball with a Question Mark on it. This mark is the same one used on Pandora’s Box. Uh-oh. Stay tuned…Bloggergal

Who was evicted on Big Brother 14 last night?

by BBBlogger on August 17, 2012

It was a no surprises Live Eviction show on Big Brother 14 last night. With a choice between Joe and Wil, no one was waiting with baited breath. The vote was 6-2 for Wil to be evicted. Ashley and Jenn voted to evict Joe and keep Wil. Except for the night of his birthday, Wil was pretty quiet in the BB house. I really feel having coaches in the beginning messed up his game. I think he would have tried to form an alliance much earlier if he didn’t have Janelle whispering in his ear the whole time.

Julie played a game where she asked questions of the HG’s about current events. It’s something we don’t think about much when watching Big Brother. What would it be like to live somewhere for months without any outside input–no TV, Internet, phone? When the house guests come out of Big Brother, it must be quite an overload of information.

CBS clearly plugged itself when it featured an interview between Jeff Shroeder and Julie Chen. Jeff the cutie who has been on Big Brother twice is now working for CBS.com doing post-eviction interviews. He and his Big Brother housemate Jordan have recently moved to Los Angeles. Jeff seems to have his sights set on TV. Jeff prompted Julie to ask the question he hears at least once a day…when is he proposing to Jordan. He says Jordan has given him a deadline of his birthday which is June 5th. I’m not sure if they ever actually lived together before now. It’s one thing to have a long distance relationship, quite another to live together. At times, Jeff can be pretty abrasive with Jordan and I remember it bothering a lot of Big Brother fans. Jordan seems to take it in stride. I don’t think we’ve seen the last of these two.

Last night’s HOH competition was considered an endurance. I think that just means it lasts longer than the end of the show. The HG’s have to fill a tiny cup with liquid, slide across a slippery, downhill path and place the liquid in a container. Brittany mentioned Crisco shortening as the substance they were sliding on. During the show, America was given a chance to vote on whether they wanted one of the containers to be a $10,000 prize or a Have Not Exemption for the remainder of the game. America was able to vote through hash tags on Twitter. Hmm, does this remind anyone of The Glass House? America chose the $10,000 prize. This meant that the HG’s had a choice of three containers to put their liquid in. The smallest container was Safety for the week. The second sized container was the $10,000 prize. The third and largest container was for HOH. At the beginning of the competition, Shane, Ian and Danielle were trying for HOH. Brittany, Ashley, Jenn, Dan and Joe were all trying for safety. Frank Boogie was the only HG to choose the $10,000 prize container. I bet you have some comments about that!

I’m going to end the blog here. Later on tonight, I’ll update the blog with all the spoilers. If you want to know now what happened, check out the comment section of the previous blog. This is just fair warning that the next blog will include SPOILERS. Talk to you later…Bloggergal

So in one corner we have JOE. The cook. The guy who no one really likes and is an island in the house.

In the other corner we have WIL. Who does not know how to spell his own name! (It is WILL!) LOL Ok…well that was a cheap shot! But I hate to say it but I think he is going to be gone tonight.

Will the silent six make it to the final six? Will the quack pack become Ian’s reality for the rest of the season? What will happen? Who knows. All I know is that FRANK missed his opportunity to back door Dan. It WILL bite him in the ass! Just watch and see!

So it does not matter what I think. All that really matters is what you think! Vote now to evict Joe or Wil.

See you tonight in cyberspace!

Peace, BBBlogger

PS: hope you are all having a great week. #BBBloggerlovesyou

Big Brother 14 Puppetmaster Boogie

by BBBlogger on August 16, 2012

Zingbot made an appearance in the Big Brother 14 house last night. He zinged all the HG’s, but really hurt Danielle’s feelings when he (she?) said that Danielle was going to need a restraining order to stay away from Shane. Ouch! I hope the HG’s were paying close attention because I expect that a memory game will be coming up with questions about the Zingbot’s comments.

As you all know, Frank won the POV. The competition involved connecting a series of tubes and then working a ball through the tubes to the end hole. Shane seemed to be in second place with Brittany directing him from the sidelines. Boogie was lost and asking for Ian’s help, but personally I think it was an act. He’s too smart to win anything when he can just have Frank win and pull Frank’s strings.

Frank revisited the idea of putting Dan up. Boogie talked him out of it . Frank…what the heck are you thinking? It was funny that in the DR even DAN thought Frank should backdoor him! Alas, Frank kept the nominations the same. Tonight either Wil or Joe will be evicted.

Have a great day…Bloggergal

Tuesday’s Big Brother 14 Blog

by BBBlogger on August 14, 2012

A quick blog to get you a clean page for comments. As I’m sure all you spoiler-lovers know, Frank did not use the veto. That means either Joe or Wil leave the Big Brother house on Thursday. Wow, how exciting is that? (yep, sarcasm again!) I can’t decide which of the two I want to leave. Wil drives me crazy with his hair and Joe just drives me crazy in general. Neither one will be a big loss to BB14.

I’m not sure if any of you caught the conversation in the Have Not room last night. I’ll just say it was VERY risque and a tad gross. It should be somewhere around 3:00 a.m. PST.

That’s all I have for you today!

Some quick administrative notes:
–If you comment for the first time, I have to approve it and then you are good to go from then on. I usually come on sometime each morning to do that.
–Margie, I don’t know what the heck goes on with your name!
–JT, I know I speak for everyone when I say you have our love and support!
–All, I definitely will keep posting regarding Reality Rally. We will plan a meet-up for those who can get there next spring. Hopefully, if I can get help, we can also conduct interviews and post them to one of our blogs.
–For the record, BBBlogger and I are not married or related in any way. We don’t even like each other! Eh…he’s okay 🙂

Have a great day! Bloggergal
