I picked Vanessa to win it all before the season but, she’s turned out to be a big mess. I’d be careful with wishful thinking you guys and gals because when you take out both Shelli and Vanessa in one evening, your taking most of the game playing with it and you’ll be stuck with boring people left in the game.

I, too, would do my happy dance if Vanessa left tonight, but I have little hope that will
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------happen. I liked Tonia’s suggestion of James going second. That would leave Meg and Jackie
without their brain to guide them. But I would love for Liz or Julia to leave as soon as
possible. Liz’s main function in the house is cooking and spending the rest of the evening bragging about how good her cooking was. Her next function is keeping Austin happy enough to stay in putty form in her hands. Taking up needed air space is her third
function. Julia’s main function is to glare at Austin, cut him down every opportunity she
gets, dish on all the other HGs, and complain about everything.
If only we could get paid for every third word out of Jackie or Vanessa’s mouth….we could
go on one fine vacation! Come on, JM, pull this one out and do some damage!!!

C’estMoi: I was thinking the same thing. The only reason Steve would put up Meg and
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Jackie would be to help Vanessa and hope he could backdoor Becky. John was protecting
Becky. He said he didn’t know who Steve would put up as a replacement, so he kept the
veto for himself. That means he was not working with Steve on this and was afraid of his
nomination. He was so angry with Julie. Rudeness is not in character for him. Something
had to have happened just prior to the show beginning for him to be that angry at air time.
I think he might have gotten wind of Becky being targeted. He knew his game was on the
line, as well. Right now, I think he feels pretty isolated and not connected with anyone…
except Becky. I hope with all my heart, he wins HOH and does some pay back. I knew
Jackie would be the one going home when the veto wasn’t used. James would never vote
Meg out, and Austwins are in cahoots with James and Meg, while still making Vanessa
think they’re with her. They will go wherever the power lands. I do believe Austin is one of
the most childish men for his age of any to grace the BB household. Vanessa and Austwins
are sitting pretty, unless Becky or John win HOH. I think we were all rocked back on our
heels trying to figure out what was going on tonight. I hate not seeing the messages from
the HGs, but no time. I hate we didn’t get to see what the next comp was. But at least it
isn’t boring…..for the moment. I sure want to find out what happened right before the show
started tonight that had JM so upset.

Watching LFS and it looks like Van had told Steve to BD Austin!! But JM spoiled that! then he didn’t know what to do! Idiot!! She was telling Julia this as she hates Austin. I even noticed he didn’t hug Steve when he won HOH. Unusual there, too. He walked back into the house with a grim expression and talked to no one (at least on camera) until he won veto power. The cameras didn’t show to whom he was speaking just prior to gathering again in the front room. Julie took everything in stride, glossing over it all, which made me
think she knew what was bothering him. But I’m no psychologist and could be totally wrong on my read.

Im sitting here listening to Meg complain about being put up and lied to. Why didn t they talk to us about this. First of all who talked to Shelly. Why doesn t anyone see what they do. They can t take it when it comes back to them. Can t wait to see u go Meg. They ( James,Meg, Jackie, and Becky sit and scheme and talk and flip back and forth but they get upset when it happens to them. Meg is a big shit stirrer and plays the airhead.

@sherry..maybe John was the last to findout before the show, that Shelli was leaving. they were close. but then he did vote for her to go. Unlike him. He isn’t usually a house voter. I dunno. the whole nite was weird!!
I just heard that Steve told John NOT to use the Veto! the what was his plan?? he was walking around the kitchen alone ringing his hands sayin, I didn’t want this to happen. but you were the one that MADE it happen!!! The boy is not all there!! I do think he looks up to Van for advice, acceptance and almost Mothering. but the twins do too!! She is dangerous and they should have gotten her out when they had the chance!!!

John just said that the reason he didn’t use the Veto was because he was sure Steve would ut up either Becky or James . So he was saving them. He just told Becky this and said Steve isn;t thinking social game at all. Just that he wasn’t soemone like Van next to him in the end and right now was trying to get out someone good at comps. Makes sense. I mean that Steve thinks that way.
james says he and Becky are a power couple now. The need to get more ppl on their side tho. Becky says that Aus knows what he is doing. He has a BB tatoo on his arm!!! Becky is pulling John into the group. He said to take Steve too, but Becky is like..I dunno….lol SO much talking going on right now!!! I can’t keep up!!!lol

I thought John was kind of joking with Julie but I also think he was pretty angry tonight. I think that, over the past few days, he’s discovered how far out of the loop he’s been. When he heard double eviction, he knew that he and Becky would be potential targets.
Personally, I was kind of happy to see John finally playing like someone trying to win, as opposed to just being the goofy guy.

Steve is saying how nothing bad has ever happened to him so that is why he has nothing to draw from. He;s been so spoiled and overprotected, he really has no life experince yet. Well, I apparently will have to eat my words about Liz. From what I’m gathering, Liz

now she’s going on the block. Meg thinks she’s going on the block, too. JM thinks he’s
going on the block. V was going over how everyone who’s won HOH has won twice and
included Liz with “now you’ve won two”. (Except for Austin.) Austin was bragging about
how he and LIz could just relax and enjoy this week. I don’t think A knows how to relax.
I think he’s only thinking of spending nights with Liz in the HOH bed. Wonder if Julia

Steve crazy??…yeah, like a fox!! Here is my take on Steve and I could be wrong but we shall see. He seems to have a difficult time comprehending when talking with other hg’s… pretends to be confused and they have to repeat whatever they are saying until he gets it. I saw the frustration on shelli’s face when he wasn’t following her. He plays dumb. Next, I wish I’d have kept a list of things of which he claims to have never *seen* or *heard.* I’ll cut him some slack for the inability in determining the difference between a zucchini and a cucumber, but other stuff he claimed to not know had me asking myself what rock he’s been living under!?! I mean, come on, who hasn’t heard of Howard Stern? He may have had little exposure to some things in life, but he is not as sheltered as he claims to be. He has created a certain persona…it’s all part of his shtick meant to fool the HG’s. He was smart enough to align himself with Van, one of the smartest in the house. And now all of a sudden he’s winning comps? Wisdom teeth growing in??…what are the odds of that!?!…copied from Victoria. For me it all adds up. He may be a genius, but in my experience, highly intelligent people don’t have a lick of common sense and he fits that category as well. I concede the possibly of there being something a little “off” about him, but remember, there’s a fine line between madness and genius. If things keep up this way I see Steve and Vanessa in the final two and Austin makes 3. Grrr!!!

Tonight was a big, big disappointment! I feel l little bleh about the entire evening. I was hoping for a big move! Well this didn’t happen , and the likelihood of any major upsets is slim! Vanessa rules…..sad to say! I was hoping Austin would be gone by now. His relationship with Liz is awkward at best! Uggggh!!! @Junksies…I have been beginning to think that too. I kind of have all along but kept going back and forth. I always gave him smart, not sure genius, but who knows?? but sheltered and immature and socialy awkward. I guess he can be all those things and still play well! In fact may be using them as part of his gameplay. But it just never seemed obvious enough to convince me. Until tonight. Although still not entirely sold, I did see him going back and forth between the Gremlins and Van’s side. To both, he appears the loyal and grateful alliance member. But always with just his big toe in….so he can pop in and out without raising eyebrows. He is telling the Gremlins he is done with Van and is just happy to belong somewhere. But telling them he will basically be able to spy for them on Van. (BTW….She and the Austwins are calling themselves Austin’s Angels. I jsut can’t can’t with this!!lol) SOoooo…he is doing the same thing with their side too. He is in an excellent spot right now!! And I honesly don’t know who his loyalty lies with. Or if it matter at this point!! But he may well be the evil genius you think he is!!!!

During the evictions Austin used Judus to evict Shrilly but used “I” to evict Jackie. Since Austin thinks everything out I think he got caught up in the rapid pace and forgot about Judus.
As for Steve, I noticed right away after his win a nd everyone returned to the living room that NO ONE talked to him. Everyone was talking about how they answered in the game while Steve was just sitting alone by himself. In previous years of double evictions the winner usually gets ganged up on by the other houseguests with their demands of who should be put of for eviction. I think this is the first time I have ever seen a new HoH in a double eviction not be innuadated with requests. Steve looked lonely sitting in a crowd.
Personally I think Steve does his talking aloud more for the audience, but that he is too shy to do it boldly to the cameras like Beast Mode Cowboy used to.

Looks like Steve’s parents are hoping to cash in on their Reality Star’s sudden success by putting their home on the market for $229,000 (supposedly reduced by $10,000 on 7/21) and still considerably above the Zillow estimate of $170,336.
First rule in home buying/selling: Buy the lowest price home in a high priced neighborhood, never the other way around. Average home prices in Steve’s neighborhood are in the low $100,000’s.
