Hi, everyone!
On any other season, the news that I’m about to share would be news worth celebrating but this season …. well, this is the season where nobody’s willing to do the smart and obvious thing.
Because of the accelerated week and the upcoming eviction (which will happen on Monday and then be broadcast on Tuesday), the veto meeting was held today. John used the veto on himself. Vanessa nominated Austin as the replacement.
What this means is that, if John is going to make a big move, this is the time to make it. Liz is obviously going to vote to keep Austin. If John votes to keep Steve then there will be a tie and Vanessa will finally have to “get blood on her hands” and announce who she wants to leave the house. As well, Vanessa won’t be able to play for HoH, so John has to decide who would be a stronger contender to win the next HoH comp — Steve or Austin.
However, as of right now, it looks like John is going to vote to evict Steve, on the understand that he, Austin, and Liz will then go after Vanessa. So, chances are that Steve is going go on a 2-0 vote.
Earlier today, Vanessa told Steve that he needs to go make his case to John. However, as far as I can tell, all Steve has been doing is talking to John about past seasons of Big Brother. Steve has not been making a case for himself and he actually seems to think that he already has John’s vote to stay. In other words, Steve is being way too confident in himself and, with the vote coming up early, Steve really doesn’t have much time to spare.
(Of course, Vanessa could change her mind and ask John to vote for Austin but I doubt she will because that would mean getting blood on her hands and we all know how terrified Vanessa is of that.)
So, as much as I would love to see Austin voted out, I’m going to guess that it’s going to be Steve.

I meant to add this to the previous post, but hit the wrong button. Apparently, John
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------hasn’t learned one thing about Austin and Liz. They just want Steve gone so John has
no one to fall back on. They will stick with Vanessa and get John out next. They
will go to Vanessa and tell her John is out for her. Like I said earlier. If John doesn’t
win every possible comp from now on, he’s gone before his head can figure out what
he did wrong….like trusting the two people who promised to get Van out before and
left him hanging.
This group of HGs makes my head spin and stomach churn. Never a more aggravating
group. I thought Amanda’s season would be hard to beat on being the worst season ever.
Then came Frankie Grande, and now this inept group. Audrey could have been another
Frankie, but had too many issues she couldn’t control and didn’t know how to play the
game. Austin and Liz have taken the place of Amanda and Pizza Boy. But no season has
ever had a group that simply doesn’t understand the word strategy and have been too
trusting until they are evicted and leave the house looking shell shocked.

Robert, I too have noticed and was really put off by the first time it happened. But the
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------audience thought it was funny and him just goofing around. I don’t think he really
means disrespect as he just gets carried away with what he defines as humor. But I think
the DR should talk to him about it. It certainly couldn’t hurt. But they never do anything
about Austin’s disrespect for production when he curses them out. I’m sure he does it
for bombastic attention, but it really is irritating. I guess these things just aren’t important
for the show.

I don’t dislike them because of who they are or anything personal,it’s because they can’t PLAY!!!!!! It’s so frustrating!!!! this isn’t a brainless reality show. The fans who watch enjoy the strategizing and usually know more than most of the HGS anyway! But when we know more than ANY of the HGS, something is amiss!!! Which I think now CBS knows as well! I really want to see Austin out tho. There is no WAY a showmance should still be in the game at this point!!! And I think he is the strongest and smartest next to Van. With him out it would come down to the girls against the guys. And since I am not fond of anyone this year, at least it would give one of the girls a chance to win!!! I have said since day 1 that I wanted this to be a girls years. They are due!!! Van is the most deserving but I can’t stand her so I agree, seeing Liz beat her would be *everything*!!! 😉

@Jeanne4488… I think it was you who asked about the M&Ms. Sorry if I’m wrong. I have read like 3 days worth of post today plus responding!! I honestly missed that part too. was it on BBAD???? I did remember them using skittles before, as BCM wrote, and they use the candy to strategize since they have no way to write anything down and this time of year they get confused with too many s\cenarios as they try to make it to F2!! I also agree that she thinks WAY too much!! even while others are talking to ehr her eyes are going crazy back and forth and she thinks about, thru and past whatever you are saying to her!!!! No wonder whe always wears a hat. Her brain must need extra warmth ash she works it to a frazzle on a daily basis!!!lol

It’ll be a miracle if Van doesn’t win. No matter who John votes for, the only way he could make it to F2 would be by winning every comp. And the only way for Van to lose would be if she lost a comp when she’s one of the last three.

So far JM has been voting the way Van tells him to. I think it’s too little too late. I’d rather be watching the jury house.
OT..I still have my mom and dad… barely ‘have my dad’… my mom was the 8th of 9 children. So I’ve lost some wonderful aunts and uncles and cousins all this year. My heart aches for those who have lost their mom’s.

I won’t be watching tonight either. The thought of having to see Frankie for one second is a stomach turner!
I also can’t understand why JM wouldn’t vote out Austin. I watched a few minutes last night of BBAD when Vanessa was “telling” JM what should happen while pretending she really wanted to know what he thought, yeah right Vanessa! I could only take a few minutes of hearing her say “you know what I’m saying” and JM laying there on the bed rocking and smiling and probably thinking shut up already!

I am so glad that Frankie was only on for less than 10 minutes! The second he walked into the BB house I muted my tv and fast forwarded through the entire segment! Glad that’s over, now let’s get this show on the road! Tuesday night I am hoping Vanessa will backdoor Austin and Wednesday night get rid of either Vanessa or Liz! That’s my best scenario. Johnny Mac or Steve must win HOH. As much as I agree that neither of them really deserve to win, I would rather they win than the other three! Those three, plus Julia have gotten on my last nerve the entire season. Besides, I always root for the good guys! I have been for Steve and especially Johnny Mac from the beginning. I intend to stay loyal! 🙂 I will be checking back …..

I was really looking forward to seeing what the pros would do with Vanessa’s makeup but all the professional make up artists in the world could not help her look, in fact, she was even uglier…but Liz looked really really cute in her short ginger wig.

Watching the show last night on network was priceless. Van once again going around being paranoid and interrogating each player, all the while being the biggest hypocrite in BB history. Calling out everyone for making little side deals, when that’s all she’s done the entire season. It could be production or editing, but not one person called her out for doing the same thing. Each person left knows for a fact now that Van has also made side deals, yet they’re all too scared to mention this to her?? Very very sad.
Van has been paranoid all summer but she has taken it to new heights. I believe this will be her downfall and she will not make it to F2 as so many have predicted. Putting Steve and JMac up will be her undoing. It has already started with JMac winning veto and her putting up Austin as a replacement. She continues to dig a hole for herself by going back and forth of who to vote out, Austin or Steve. Before this, Steve would have definitely took Van to F2. Now, i don’t believe he will take her if he stays. Van has shown her true colors, and even though she’s good at digging herself out of certain holes, I think it’s too late in the game for that to happen now. If she goes back on what she originally wanted to do and back doors Austin, that will be her final mistake in the game. But if all that hasn’t woken up Steve and JMac to finally get rid of Van, nothing will.

I have come to the conclusion that Vanessa is not as smart as she thinks….she’s just really convincing when she explains something. Case in fact….she thinks people are going to the MOON!! Within five years for one million dollars with Virgin Galaxy!! LOL!!
She told JM that “Tears in Heaven” was about Eric Clapton’ s son passing away from cancer!! Wrong!! His poor baby boy fell from a high rise in NYC from an open window. Very, very sad song and yes, it makes me cry.
What my point is ……is that Vanessa could sell a snowball to an Eskimo(not making fun of Eskimos) she’s just THAT convincing!!!
Last I heard is they’re going to blindside Austin and deal with Liz after the fact.
PRobably no BBAD tomorrow night because of the eviction happening today and airing on Tuesday!! Probably a rerun or something! Oh well!! Sigh!!
Why do they think we like watching Pot Ball or Sling Band is a mystery to me! We want game talk BB…..tell them to stop their childish games and do some “scampering”!! LOL!!

Jmac wont vote out steve. He is smarter than people actually give him credit for. As we saw last night Vanessa actually wants jmac to vote for steve so she can break the tie it excites her and she does want Austin gone. I from what I saw think it will play out that way but little does she know another eviction is happening right after. And she cannot play! Good morning!! Well, I watched a couple episodes of BBAD on YouTube last night! Yuck! The camera’s were so close to Liz and Austin you could see his nose hairs! Really! I don’t remember the cameras being so “in your face” in past years. When the camera wasn’t on Austin and Liz, it was either on Johnny Mac sleeping or Steve pacing back and forth between the kitchen area and the memory wall, mumbling to himself and drinking some red beverage he kept refilling his glass with. He would go up to his picture on the memory wall and talk to it. Really weird! Austin and Liz wouldn’t let him sleep in his comfortable bed because they wanted to be alone!! Steve told them he wanted to sleep in his comfortable bed. Liz said “Live with it!” Really??? I am glad I don’t get BBAD. It is like watching paint dry! Well, that’s Jolee reporting from the YouTube reruns of Big Brother! This will probably be my last report from there because I am not going to waste another minute of my precious time watching that boring show. I know it’s hard with only 5 players left and three of them are in bed and Vanessa was up in her HOH suite probably strategizing! This lady has a lot of things to do today, so I will get myself busy and see you all …

I just had an idea while spacing out on the patio, the live feeds are down so my mind is going in circles wondering what Johnny Mac will do. I’ve wondered about Vanessa’s hats and just realized they are similar to a stoplight ie red, green and yellow. My conspiracy theory is that Mel sent Van the RED hat as a warning to stop what she was doing and the YELLOW one as a caution message. I’m either on to something or I’ve lost my ever loving mind this season. I’d have to go back to feeds to locate Vanessa’s wins and letters from Mel to prove or disprove my theory. Since I only have coffee and no adderall to assist me, I’ll most likely just wonder about it. ?

Okay, no new blog yet, so I just want to make a comment about Vanessa and her hats, no matter what the colour of the day is. I just do not get this trend of people wearing wooly hats indoors. They are in California in the middle of a drought and heat wave, she has this long hair and is always wearing some head gear. Enough with the complaints about ants and termies, every time I see these people with hats on indoors, especially the wooly ones, every fricken time all I can think of is head lice!!!
