Hi, everyone!
I wanted to wait to post until I could tell you who won the veto but apparently, they are still playing the comp. It’s been going on for about two hours now.
I’ve been up at Lake Texoma for the weekend, so I haven’t gotten much of a chance to check the live feeds. So, I apologize if this isn’t my best post but here’s what I can tell you about what’s happening in the house:
Christmas is the HoH.
Remember how Christmas was saying, in the diary room, that she would make a big move if she was HoH? Well, apparently, her big move is to backdoor Mark. I’m not really sure if backdooring the guy that all the other houseguests want out of the house really qualifies as a big move but it is what it is.
Christmas nominated Matt and Jason for eviction, with the plan being to use the veto to rescue one of those two and put up Mark as a replacement. Paul — and, regardless of what Christmas says, this is pretty much Paul’s HoH — has said that, if Mark wins the veto, he’d like to get rid of Jason. Apparently, it really bothered him when Derrick pointed out how close Alex and Jason are. Alex even referred to Jason as being her ride or die.
Paul and Christmas are also currently paranoid about Kevin, of all people! Kevin talked to Cody when he wasn’t supposed to. Over the past few days, Kevin has been seen talking to Mark. Christmas, Paul, and Josh have apparently gotten it into their heads that this means that Kevin is some sort of masterful puppet master and that he’s secretly working against them.
Last night, Paul also made a final three pact with Christmas and Josh. Whether Paul was being sincere about that or not is anyone’s guess.
Finally, if you thought Christmas might backdoor Paul this week — well, it’s not going to happen! It actually can’t happen. Apparently, as a result of the HoH competition, everyone got a temptation power. Mark’s power was called “Save a friend” and he could use it to grant immunity to any one houseguest (other than himself, I assume). So, of course, he gave immunity to Paul!
I guess Mark is trying to show Paul that he’s on his side but seriously, that was a huge mistake on Mark’s part. Paul is still determined to get rid of Mark and we’ll probably have to spend most of Sunday’s show listening to Paul gloat about it in the diary room.
As for the veto, the players are Christmas, Jason, Matt, Paul, Mark, and Raven. Apparently, Paul throw a little fit when Christmas picked Raven to play for the veto because he specifically told her to pick Alex.
Finally, there was a rat lose in the Big Brother House today. Everyone was told to wait in the HoH room while crews laid down traps and searched for the rat. That seems kind of appropriate.
