Big Brother is Must See TV!

by BBBlogger on June 20, 2007

It is true. We are all excited that Big Brother 8 is only 2 weeks away (can you believe it?!?) and we here at Big Brother Blog are extremely excited. It has been a long and boring fall, winter and spring while waiting for another Big Brother Summer!

Our main website, Must See TV, has been having a few issues with it’s current ISP. Since it has been having issues, we decided to move it. So as of June 20, 2007, Must-See-TV.com is now setup successfully on its new server and the move is complete!

With the move we decided to add a few things…

1. We reinstalled the cool plugin called vBSEO so that we can get some better Search Engine Rankings. It has helped up out quite a bit and as of today we are on the first page of Google for the following search terms.

Big Brother 8 Forums (currently #3 on Google) and Big Brother 8 Spoilers (currently #13 on Google)!

2. We added a “tag cloud” at Must See TV tag cloud and so far so good! Now I know what you are thinking…what is a “tag cloud”? Go and check it out. It is a neat way to find items based on keywords you are looking for.

3. We also will be adding new forums to follow some of the new Reality TV Shows that are going on right now.

So please go over there and say hello. We are looking for people like you to join our community and enjoy watching reality tv and Big Brother 8 this summer!

So the rumor has it that “Boston” Rob Mariano may be a part of Big Brother 8. Here is what we know…

CBS loves Rob! He was involved in Survivor (2 times) and the Amazing Race. He even got married on CBS with the lady who won Survivor All-Stars, Amber Brkich, in a 2-hour special. Currently he is also working on a new show for CBS and from what we hear it will be huge. We are chatting about that on the following site.

Reality TV Show

Per Rob’s Wiki located at…
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Mariano

it says that he will be involved with BB8 on July 5, 2007. However, Wiki is not always a reliable source of information.

To keep up with all the news and opinions, join us in chatting about this rumor on the Must See TV forums here…

The mother of an All-Star Ann Pierzina-Killian

by BBaholic on September 10, 2006

Saturday, September 09, 2006 – 3:02 pm

“What it’s really like to be the Mother of an All Star”… by Ann Pierzina-Killian

Truly, I can only speak for myself. But I can only imagine what the other parents went through also. Many of the same things. I will start by addressing CBS; I believe we should have had the contact numbers or emails of the other parents from the get go, or at least a private chat room for venting and support. Here goes…

As an All-Star Mom, we’re pro’s at this now right? This is our 2nd time around. Yikes!! For four of us, it’s pretty fresh.
Let’s go back to round one. When I was first told by my kid, that she was going to be on a reality show, I asked; “What’s that?” All she said was; “Oh Mom, just watch it on July 6. You’ll see me there!” When she entered the BB house last season, it was my very first episode of Big Brother. Let’s set the record straight. This is not a reality show. This is an “UN-reality show!”
And Oh Boy, Did I ever see her there! And in 15 million other places on the internet.
For the first 2 weeks I was totally stressed out! It dawned on me that 2 million people were watching every move my kid makes, and picking her apart like a rag doll.
I was shocked into “reality” when I browsed all the BB sites!
I wasn’t warned about this!

I did not want to see my child slandered, made fun of, or hurt in any way.
Being a spiritually deep woman, I gave her to God. It dawned on me real quick, she would need His love & protection in this crazy & hostile environment. I also started asking others to lift her in prayer. I started seeing a change. It was a good change.

When it was announced once again, she would be going back on the show, it was like “Oh boy, here we go again..” Get ready for the emotional roller coaster.

Watching the feeds:
(And I‘d be surprised if there was a parent who did NOT subscribe for the live feeds.)
Lou Gordon hit the nail on the head last year when he said; “It was like getting my kid back for the summer!” He was right. For me it went a bit further…it was like really getting to know my kid as an adult for the first time. You raise these children to the best of your abilities; they go off into the big bad world. You really have no idea how they truly turned out. All you can do is hope for the best.

The feeds were a bit addicting( to say the least.) It was very comforting to watch your child sleep. It was funny to see many of the same habits & characteristics they had as children surface in the house. It is very endearing to hear them talk about you, and realize you mean more to them, then you could ever of hoped for or imagine.
“Seeds planted, and tended with care, build strong roots and bear beautiful fruit.”

It is agonizing to see them hurt. There is nothing you can do. When your child is hurt, scared or sad, you cannot reach into that screen and surround them. You just have to sit there and feel it too.

When your child cries. You cry.
When they are lied to and betrayed…you feel betrayed. You get angry. When they are scum-bagged, you do not like that scum bagger. When they are played, you do not like that player. When they are lied to, you do not like that liar.
How many times do we have to keep telling ourselves; “It’s just a game!” “It’s just a game!” “It’s really, just a game!”

It is with great pride, when you see the person they’ve become. When they are real. When they are genuine. Polite. Generous. When they are true to themselves and their alliances. When they win competitions, or help their alliances win. It brings joy to see such a competitive, winning spirit.

It is with fear & apprehension, when they might do, or say something that you do not want the rest of the world to see or hear. Including everyone in your hometown, your whole family , your co-workers and just about everyone you know. When they get too sippy, (BB, you really need to watch the alcohol allotments) you want to reach right in there and say ok! You’re cut off kid. Remember now… you’re on National TV!
What about their hormones?? And yes, this age has more then they know what to do with! OMG! This is waaaay more then a mother ever needed to know about. Please maintain your dignity in there, oh child of mine! Wheeeew!

It can be a bit annoying, to have to talk BB with everyone you run into, and feel you have to explain to them what is going on. Like… go to BigBrother .com and figure it out! Puuuhleeze!

The Big Brother House lurks in your conscience and your sub conscience the whole time they are locked within those walls. How many times have you awoken in the middle of the night and said; “I wonder if they are all right? Or wondered what they are doing?”
It has a trickle down effect in all other aspects of your life. The longer they are in there, the more power that house has over you. And I am speaking from two FULL SEASONS right down to the last 3 days. (BOTH TIMES dang it!)

When they leave that house, it is with great relief. Uh huh. It is. . . Your protective mode can finally come down. What an exhausting state to be in for 3 months.

It is with great surprise, and pride and joy to see the support from the million trillion fans. This show is bigger then I could ever imagine it to be. WOW!
The fans have picked me up and carried me when I’ve been hurt or down more then once.
The fans have celebrated with me and loved on me. Thanks be to them!

It is with fascination, as I watch the bond that these houseguests have made for life. That for the most part… it was just a game in the BB house. Outside of it, they have built many friendships for life. I find myself forgiving the other houseguests for the awful things they have said and done to my child. Especially when they are looking you in the eye and are remorseful. They don’t have to ask for my forgiveness.

Again I’ll say… I needed and longed for the other Mommie-Mommies of the BB All Stars during this time. More then once…

8.15 Recap

by Big Brother Blogger on August 16, 2006

The HG had a food fight during the long feeds block. Aparently, they also brought food into the pool, which is another no-no. Erika gave Mike a lap dance as well. There was another feeds block as more music was played.

James told Mike to vote out Marcellas on Thursday. Mike said that he already decided that he would. He also tells him that if his power can send anyone home, to send Janelle home. Mike seemed to agree. Will told Erika to befriend Janelle because they are not voting her out this week.

Throughout the night, we had a lot of cards playing as quite a few HG (Danielle, James, Mike to name a few) went to bed fairly early. Howie, Janelle, and Will were the last ones still awake, and they did some studying for the HoH competition on Thursday.

After their studying, they strategize. Will said that the floaters kicked George out–he’s not invited to any more meetings. They both think they need to evict James before evicting George. They then talked about who they would vote for once the final two came around. Howie and Janelle are very upset for what he did to Kaysar (betrayed their alliance).

After more talking, Howie and Janelle finally dozed off at 2:15 AM.

Danielle was the first one up at 6:50 AM. She picked up the house a bit and had some alone time for nearly four hours until the other HG awoke. Erika was the next one up at 10:35 AM, along with Marcellas and Mike.

Erika told Danielle that she has to be honest with Marcellas and tell him that she will vote him out. They want to know how he is voting and is upset that he hasn’t talked to them lately, but has talked to S6 and CT. They have a feeling he may be drifting over to the other side. They also agree that CT needs to go because they are just floating and are the ones controlling them game. (Finally–someone other than me has figured that out!) They agree that George, Howie, Will, Janelle, and Mike all need to go (in that order, I think).

As the others awake, Danielle tells the ones up that Marcellas is not targeting Janelle. Those basically made the house want to get rid of him even more. (I think that’s what Danielle wanted.) They (Danielle, James, Mike, and Will) all agree to vote out Marcellas, and thus evicting him.

The Legion of Doom had a talk. They all agree that after this week, Janelle needs to go, and then Erika, leaving them, George, and Howie. They can pick those two off easily.

James and Mike talked about how dumb Janelle was for putting up Marcellas. Shortly after this, a lockdown was issued to get the HG out of bed. (It’s 1:30, and some of them still aren’t up yet.) They also removed a couple of the beds in the house.

Danielle and Marcellas both think Erika will be the one leaving because Janelle told Marcellas he was safe. However, S6 also told Jase and Diane they were safe when they were nominated; however, they were the ones evicted.

James thinks that if Janelle wins HoH after this coming week, then she will nominate Danielle and Mike.

Janelle thinks the next HoH competition will be endurance, while Marcellas thinks it will be a crap shoot. Meanwhile, Danielle and Will are talking about how long they think they will last in the house. Will says one or two more weeks, while Danielle says two weeks.

Danielle and Howie had a long talk about how they play the game and about their individual seasons. Howie then talks to the rest of the S6. James said that if he wins HoH, he will put up George and Howie! They all laughed, but James said that he wasn’t kidding. (He’s not!)

Howie told James to throw the next HoH competition. James said no, and completely went off on Howie, saying that he is nominating him and George because they have done nothing at all this entire game except agree with people. He is also mad that he keeps taking Janelle’s side. The three have a pretty big argument about why Howie and Janelle don’t trust James that much because of his whole situation with Danielle. James says that he wants Danielle out. Howie and Janelle seem to believe him, but James storms out.

Mike and Will think they have the votes to evict Marcellas–their two, plus Danielle and James. They agree that Erika needs to win HoH next week to take out Janelle. Meanwhile, Marcellas asked Janelle if he was safe, and she told him yes and to not worry.

George told Will that he will vote however they want him to. (George–you too?)

Show Recap:

Danielle and Erika were not surprised by their nominations. James said that Danielle needs to stay for him. Marcellas is sure that he will be nominated should one of them be saved by the PoV. Erika and Mike’s Showmance has definitely heated up, even with a proposal! (Not really, of course. But it was still entertaining.) Marcellas desperately tried to reason with Janelle that their deal to go to the final two still stands. Marcellas in DR: “If I win HoH, the buxom blonde is toast.” (So much for the deal…)

The second Coup d’Etat clue was a giant needle and thread. Howie guessed, “Wolf in sheep’s clothing,” after help from Janelle. He told the other HG he guessed, “Spool of lies,” which the HG did not buy at all. Time to pick players for the veto competition! The players are Will, Erika, Marcellas, Danielle, and James.

Time to compete for the veto competition! A surprise host too! Nicole from BB2! Here are the rules: First, a former HG will do a particular task. Then the HG write down a time that they can do that task. If they do it in that time, they stay in the game, and get to eliminate someone else. If not, they are eliminated. The first guest was April from BB6–she had to eat some gross crap (don’t remember what it was!!) Will beat his projected time and eliminated Marcellas. The second guest was Scott from BB5. He has to participate in the flamingo toss. James beat his projected time and eliminated Erika. The third guest was Jack from BB4. He had to place a glass on a table after being spun in a chair after two minutes. James did not beat his projected time, so he got eliminated. The fourth guest was Hardy from BB2. He had to last as long as he could on a mechanical bull. Will did not beat his projected time, so he got eliminated. Therefore, Danielle was GIVEN the PoV. (Dear God–she SUCKS at comps, but she has won TWO, thanks to other people!! GRR!)

Howie and Janelle were extremely upset at James for not getting rid of Danielle in the PoV competition, like Janelle told him too. She then talked to CT about why Will took out Marcellas. Will said it’s because Mike does not like Marcellas. They told her to put up Marcellas, but also not to trust James. Will tells her to put up James, but Janelle doesn’t agree. Erika, Janelle, Mike, and Will took a shower together. Howie was not happy to be left out of it.

PoV Ceremony: Danielle used the PoV on herself. Janelle put up Marcellas in her place.

Who will be evicted–Erika or Marcellas? And who will win HoH? Plus, will the Coup d’Etat be won, and will it be used? Find out Thursday

8.14 Recap

by Big Brother Blogger on August 14, 2006

The HG continued to talk over what the Coup d’Etat power brings. Danielle thinks the power is to bring one evictee back. James thinks that idea is stupid. Danielle and Erika are mad that they guessed so early.Janelle told Marcellas that the others are convincing her that he should be put up, but only as a pawn to get Erika out. Marcellas thinks otherwise and that he will go if he is put up tomorrow. She then tells him that she will put up George, but the others aren’t going to like it. Danielle walks in on them talking, but Janelle quickly says that she was only telling Marcellas the possibility of him going up tomorrow. After Janelle leaves, Danielle and Marcellas begin to wonder why Janelle would leak out her strategy to them. Marcellas said that the worst possibly thing happened again–CT winning the Coup d’Etat.

Will once again tried to convince Janelle to put up Marcellas by flattering her. It seemed to be working. Meanwhile, Danielle and Erika talked about the vote. They agree that Erika would stay if Marcellas went up, but they aren’t so sure if George would go if he was put up.

BB once again gave the HG alcohol, so what happens? Another hot tub party with whipped cream, body lotion, and more! During the whole ordeal, Marcellas told James that he will not nominate James or Janelle should he win HoH next week.

Erika and Mike became VERY close last night. They went up to the HoH bed and made out. The feeds kept going in and out, so not sure on what else they possibly did. (Too bad she has a good chance of going this week…)

Will tried to convince Janelle to put up James and bring it Erika as their new fifth member. Howie and Janelle quickly rejected him saying that James would definitely then work together to take Janelle out.

Danielle was the first one up today at 7:20 AM (she has been getting up much earlier than normal lately–similar to when her and Nakomis would get up between 8-9 AM when she was in the house). Erika and Mike joined her by waking up at around 9:10 AM. Danielle bragged that she’s been up since 5:30. (There she goes again–she gets up at 9, tells people she gets up at 7…gets up at 7, tells people she gets up at 5. What’s with her?) They talk small talk, hardly any strategy. The usual wake-up call came at 10 AM with BB saying the PoV ceremony would be in two hours. Danielle and George think that whoever goes up will stay considering S6 wants Erika out so bad. James once again told Howie and Janelle that they need to stop celebrating after HoH and PoV wins. Mike thinks Erika will not put up CT. They really want Janelle to put up Marcellas so he will go. When Janelle wakes up, she tells them that she plans on putting up George, which sparks them to convince her to put up Marcellas once again.

George is still shocked that he was not nominated today at the PoV ceremony. Marcellas thinks that Janelle is picking on “the fag,” and doesn’t like it. Mike and Will aren’t sure who to vote out. Janelle tells them not to tell Erika or Marcellas anything until Thursday. They need some time to think about the best situation.Janelle asked Marcellas if he was okay. He said he was, then Janelle said that he was safe–she will convince the house to vote out Erika. (Janelle still likes Marcellas as a person–quite a bit actually. I think she will be very sad once he is evicted. However, since he is a floater, she doesn’t like his game play, much like the rest of the floaters.)

Mike told Danielle to vote out Marcellas. She said okay, but still needs more time to think about it. She then talks to James, and he plans to vote out Marcellas. However, he’d much rather see George go this week. (Weren’t you convincing Janelle to put up Marcellas, oh I don’t know, ten hours ago?)

George talked to Janelle and thanked her for not nominating him today. He said that if they came to a similar situation (where Janelle needed his vote or something), then he would help her out. He is just unbelivably shocked that he did not get nominated today. (Get over it George! You’re safe!)

James told Mike and Will that if one of them wins HoH, to put Danielle and James up. James will hopefully (in his terms) win the PoV, so they can backdoor Janelle.

And the campaigning begins…both Erika and Marcellas asked George for his vote, which made him even more schocked that he wasn’t nominated. Erika is sure she’s safe because CT won’t vote her out. Danielle agrees. George told Erika he would vote out Marcellas.

Danielle and Janelle whined to BB saying they wanted some alcohol. The nights get more exciting in the house when they have alcohol, they said.Mike is upset because George won’t commit to anything. He tells Danielle that he thinks he can convince George to vote the way he wants. He says that nobody knows that Danielle and CT have a deal.

Will wonders if there will be another America’s Choice or a luxury competition.

BB gave the HG a “half-way point” party, and George got to eat! They had pizza, cake, and of course, alcohol! However, they started playing music for them so we get some fire! It will probably continue for quite a while.

PoV Ceremony outcome: Of course, a BB classic, the PoV ceremony did not start until 1:15, 75 minutes after its scheduled start time. Luckily, there was only a 30 minute feeds block. As for the outcome–it seems Marcellas was nominated. George was shocked because Janelle told him he would be the one going up. Marcellas seems very upset. I’ll update if I hear otherwise!
