Big Brother 10 has all ready started?? What??

Ok…before you freak out just take a deep breath and know that my goal is to write a good headline to get your attention so you read the rest of the post. Big Brother 10 STILL starts on Sunday July 13, 2008 for all intensive purposes.

However, as discovered from an interview with Allison Grodner from WeLoveBigBrother.com she did mention that “the game starts before they even enter the (Big Brother 10) house”. Interesting indeed!

Things to make you go HMMMMM!!

Also….it looks like we will find out the details on the new Big Brother contestants on July 9th! Excited yet? I know I am.

Big Brother 10 wants YOU!

The countdown continues….only 17 days left until Big Brother 10 begins. I still cannot believe it! Big Brother is back all ready! I for one cannot wait to see what the houseguests will do once they are locked in the house for us all to watch their every move!

As I mentioned in my previous post there is not much news out there but there is one exciting thing to let everyone know about….and that is that Big Brother 10 wants YOU! No…not to be a Hidden Houseguest and live in Evel Dick’s old closet! (Creepy!) CBS and Audiences Unlimited, Inc. are looking for people to be in the audience on Wednesdays during the live eviction shows.

According to the website they are looking for people to fill the audience during these dates…

So…to me this also says that the first 6 people who are evicted will be gone for good and not coming back into the house. Once the houseguests leave and are “exposed” to the real world they will not be entering back into the house.

I for one am excited about this…it will feel more like Big Brother from early on. I remember they used to come out to a crowd of people. They had changed it to make it more of a simple thing but it has always been a little too quiet for me.

Big Brother After Dark is returning. (I know you all are happy to hear that!)
Big Brother Blog is going to be here all summer long! I have upgraded the server. I am confident that the site will keep running without any issues. I am so happy you are all here with me…without you and all of your comments I would not be keeping this blog going!

I am working hard on finishing a few new things and will post again in a few days. A few questions that came up are….

Less than 3 weeks to BB10…are you ready?

Last season I started the countdown to Big Brother 9 exactly 4 weeks before it aired….and I don’t really have any “breaking news” or “amazing inside info” for season 10. So get your affairs in order, spend the next 20 days with your family and loved ones because once the feeds go live, you will be hanging with us for the next 3 months of your life. (sounds a little scary but you know it is the truth!)

As far as what info do we have about BB10….not much….but all I know is this…

1. Big Brother 10 is being promoted by the song “Happy Together” which rocks. My guess is that it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the show other than stating it is back (where I believe it belongs) on during the Summer!

**Side note…When I was 17 years old and a Junior in High School, I sang “Happy Together” accapella for a talent show in front of about 800 high school students. Probably the craziest thing I had ever done but it was also the best since I am not quite fearless in front of any audience or crowd. But I digress…

2. Lots of speculations on the web (as always) about what the contestants will be and about what the twists will be. CBS is quite good at promoting BB so as usual they are not letting any info leak out. Once we know, we will share the info. PROMISE.

3. Big Brother Blog is here to stay and will keep telling you our take on things in the house. We are not going to be doing hour by hour, minute by minute posts…but we will continue with the attempt at a post per day….some thoughts…some updates….and of course….YOUR COMMENTS that really make this blog a great place to hang during BB!

Some new things you can expect from us this season….

1. I am working on getting a page up that you can grab code and link to us on YOUR blogs and YOUR myspace accounts! 🙂

2. We are going to give away an Apple iPod Shuffle or 2 this year. I am still working on getting things set for that. Should be ready by July 1! 🙂

3. Oh….and we also will have a new and I hope improved chat room. More on that shortly.

Interested in a piece of Big Brother 9 history?

So every year it is the same thing…

1. House guests enter the Big Brother house.
2. House guests lie, cheat, mess around, shomance and backstab to get aligned correctly with their alliances
3. One by one they are picked off like flies.
4. Soon there is a winner and that person walks away with $500,000.
5. They have a “wrap party” and craziness ensues.

and finally…

They try to make some money off of ebay by posting personal stuff from the show.

I have one more post coming about the wrap party but I am taking my time and just letting this season slowly fade away so we can all be ready for Big Brother 10. Adam Wins Big Brother 9 with 6 of the 7 Jury Votes

Yes. I watched on Sunday….and I still have a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. How did Adam win Big Brother 9. Either he is the smartest player to ever play Big Brother or he just was always “never a threat” and people thought he was just window dressing the whole season.

All I know is after the first episode….I was NOT an Adam and Sheila fan. In fact, I am still wondering if the house is kicking themselves for not getting rid of them early in the game. I know that initially it seemed like that would happen and part of me is a little sad it didn’t. We would have had a much different ending to Season 9. The final 3 would have been Ryan and 2 other house guests and for sure a different ending.

So was Adam deserving? The easy answer is yes. He won. He lasted to the end and was able to get the Jury to side with him.

As far as the finale, it was nice seeing old house guests in the crowd. It was nice to see the first house guests who were eliminated and everyone all getting back together.

So here is where I believe CBS really drops the ball…why do they not have another hour to the show (or even 30 minutes) to talk with the house guests and get their take from what all happened. I do understand that the final 2 would have been cut off from the world and to thrust them into a live TV show setting after leaving the house would be a little tough….but still…I think the fans should be able to hear from the house guests about their experience.

Overall, it was an interesting season. I give props to CBS for trying something new with the pairing them up as couples angle…..however, I think it was not as well received due to the success of Big Brother 8 and the generic feel to all the personalities in the house. They were all young and single and looking for love (which makes sense however it did not make for very good Big Brother watching).

So here is where I am….Big Brother 9 is done. I am looking forward to Big Brother 10. I am going to make sure the blog is back and better than ever with some new features. (that I cannot share with you quite yet but they are AWESOME!)

Big Brother 9 Season Finale Tonight…Join Us For A Watching Party

Tonight either Adam or Ryan will be crowned the winner of Big Brother 9. From the looks of it on our POLL the readers of our blog think Ryan will win with a vote of 4-3. The next most popular thought is Adam will win 4-3 so basically…it is going to be close. Adam and Ryan are your Big Brother 9 Final 2…but Who Will Win?

Ryan won the final part of the HoH competition and evicted Sheila live last night. So with that we are left with Adam and Ryan as the final 2 people in Big Brother 9 “Til Death Do Us Part”.

The show was good….but the part that struck me was how the jury reacted to seeing Sharon’s exit. They now know that Adam and Ryan were working together.

I am sure that no one in the jury house will be surprised to see Sheila walk through the door.

Sunday night is the finale. Who do you think will win. Tell us who will vote for whom and if Ryan or Adam wins the $500,000 prize.

Big Brother 9 House Goes Dark (you thought I would say Green?)

Happy Earth Day everyone! Every TV station has gone green. Well for the record, my blog has always been a shade of green so I am WAY AHEAD OF THE CURVE! I am so glad you all are a part of our blog and come here for your Big Brother fix!

So here is what we know…Ryan won POV…Then the feeds went down for quite awhile. Much internet chat about them being down until Wednesday, etc, etc, etc. That is why I thought the BB9 house went dark.

Well…they came up and one of the 2 ladies DID get evicted (you will find out tonight if you do not know) so currently there are 3 people left.

The final HoH competition has begun and well lets just say it should be an interesting night.

So without saying too much, all I am going to say is you find out who is gone tonight, then Wednesday we will know the final 2 and well after that we have the Finale on Sunday! So who is going to win? Ryan is by far the strongest left in the house. I see it as his game to lose.

What do you see happening over the next 2 days. The Diary room is open.

Big Brother 9 is winding down as Ryan is guaranteed a place in the final 3

We are down to 4. Here is how I view the Big Brother 9 final four.

1. Ryan – strong player. Was on his wait out the door being “attached” to Allison. The “buzzer” intervened and he was saved. I personally think he is set to win this puppy. But as you know it all depends on the final HoH and who goes to the end.

2. and 3. Adam and Sheila – Wow. How are these 2 still in this game? From being paired up together to starting off the show at each others throats. I thought they would need a restraining order to break these 2 apart. (Ironically they are currently chained together for 24 hours) If these 2 were smart they would work together and finish the game together. They would make it to the final 2 but at this point….I don’t think they can work together.

4. Sharon – I am personally hoping for a Sharon miracle and a surprise win of the BB9 game in an upset victory. However, I am thinking that her sliding through will probably end on Tuesday. She was with the Josh, James, Chesia alliance and even if she makes it to the final 2 she probably will not have enough votes to win. My guess is she will be the next HG on the jury.

So…that is how I am seeing the game. Adam and Ryan are probably going to be the final 2 with Sharon leaving Tuesday and Sheila leaving Wednesday. These perdictions are dependent on POV and the final HoH.

So with that being said…how do you see the rest of the season playing out. We are less than 2 weeks.
