Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind (on the wall)…(deviant) smiles they gave to one another…oh the way they were! 🙂

I just couldn’t help it! Things in the BB house appear so grim and many of you have decided to leave the show and the Big Brother Blog! I understand. I thought about packing it in, too, but after investing our summer in this game, let’s grit our teeth and see it to the end. Next year has to be better; right?

Now that Kevin has won the POV, he’ll take himself off the block and Jordan will be his replacement. As sweet as Jordan is, she simply cannot win challenges. Kevin will vote to evict Michele and then they’ll squash Jordan like the ants they’ve been battling before high-fiving their way to the Final 2. Apparently Natalie did not participate in the POV. Pretty sure she was offered money in exchange.

Yesterday, Natalie told Kevin that Jessie will be “destroyed” that she’s engaged, “No dude, you don’t know how much he was into me. And I left him a goodbye message saying that he could never have me, and now I’m engaged. I’m afraid he’s going to take it bad.” Best laugh I’ve had in years, but she’s serious! However, the rumor is that she didn’t see her boyfriend, she actually got to speak with Jessie who informed her that he was not going to vote for her to win. I don’t think we’ll ever know the truth about Natalie. I don’t think Natalie knows the truth about Natalie!

Michele will continue to take her pleas to Kevin to work with him in order to remove Natalie’s chances of winning the 500K. Kevin will tell her he’ll “think about it” then run upstairs and blab the whole conversation to Natalie so they can have a great big laugh at Michele’s expense – over and over again – their favorite activity. But Michele will soldier on in order to save herself and wouldn’t it be nice if she did?

I hope Kevin finds a way to cleanse himself of Natalie cooties. Yesterday, he finally put his foot down and told Natalie that he was just going to have a “normal” POV ceremony instead of the nasty-gram he was planning on delivering. And with everything else going on in the house, the HG’s really appeared to all have fun with each other in last night’s “fashion show.”

The tiny table now has just four chairs. Our Big Brother house will be down to Natalie, Kevin and Jordan on Thursday, unless Michele can change Kevin’s mind. But it is only a game. And this season reminds me of a delicious plate of hot, spicy, yummy Mexican food. The good stuff is gone, and all that remains is that corn cake that no one eats.

O’ Big Brother, where art thou?

by BBBlogger on September 5, 2009

And what have you done with our show?

It appears it’s been hi-jacked and it’s barely recognizable. Who are these people in our house, playing our game? 🙂

As the new HOH, Natalie decided to nominate Kevin & Michele for eviction so Michele leaves the house. Apparently, her well-practiced eviction speech was laced with venomous statements toward Michele as she donned the HOH bathrobe and a crown. She spent at least half a day thinking of variations of humiliation for Michele and how she, herself has played this game “without losing my integrity or lying.” Is she really convinced of that? Either way, she told Jordan that she expects her to vote out Michele.

Thankfully, there is the POV which could hopefully backfire for Natalie. Jeff already told Jordan to team up with Michele and I really hope she does. But her kindness may be her downfall because she shares TMI with Natalie. I wonder what would happen if Jordan won the POV and used it on Michele? With no one left to nominate, Kevin leaves; right? I’d like to see that if only for the entertainment value of Kevin’s final days in the BB house with Nat!

It seems Pandora’s Box came back into play, but the details are unclear. I couldn’t quite piece it together, but there are rumors that it’s not over yet either. That could be how/if Natalie was able to see her boyfriend and get a twist tie engagement ring. That’s what she’s telling the HG’s. She also said that he told her, according to the blogs, that she’s “hated” in the house. So maybe she did see him. You can’t tell what’s true when it comes to Nat, but if her boyfriend is reading from this blog, this could be one truth she’s telling!

I’d still like to see her leave the BB house and go off to infect the jury fun house. This is one person who needs a lesson in humility. That’s just me, though, and I have to admit that her nasty strategy has put her in the Final 4 and there’s no denying that it has worked for her. But for me the extent that Natalie has taken her game is beyond anything remotely respectable. There are more honorable ways to win this game. And for her to tell Jordan to vote for her in Final 2 because she’ll “have to pay for a wedding”…she may as well have just told Jordan to her face that Jordan doesn’t stand a chance of winning this game.

Okay commentators, let’s have it! We’re so close to the end, we’ve invested the summer on this BB house, so how do you want to see the game play out?

Who Wants to see Natalie’s HOH Room??

by BBBlogger on September 4, 2009

Anyone? Aw…come on! Hellooo? Is anyone out there? OMG! Are all the viewers gone? Did I hear a *click*? I swear I thought I heard a *click*.

After Jeff’s final plea to remain in the BB house fell on Natalie’s deaf ears, Kevin’s tie-breaking vote evicted this years’ favorite player. Jordan’s reaction was solemn, probably having already resigned herself to the fact that he’d be leaving. She didn’t fall over in a pile of tears, she remained strong even as her BFF walked out the door to the first standing “O” of the season.

I believe Natalie was always a sore loser, blaming the game, circumstance or others for her failure to win. And now we see that she is an ungracious winner as well, heralding Chima and revenge for Jessie. I was especially humored at her claims of “always” having kept her word which no HG has ever consistently done in the BB house. Yet Natalie believes her delusion of honor will have her skating to the bank with 500K.

It’s anyone’s game at this point, but now I have decided to pull for Michele, but I would not be disappointed if Jordan won. I believed that Kevin was the “dark horse” in this game, but his clinging to Natalie will probably lead to his ultimate eviction. Natalie may convince Kevin that she has to put him on the block “so the others don’t think we’re still together” which is what she said to him last week. Duh! Everyone knows they’re together. But if she chooses that, and either of them wins POV, it’ll be Jordan & Michele on the block and one of them will assuredly go to the jury fun house, placing Natalie and Kevin in final 3.

I was personally grateful that the trip down Jury House Lane was a quick one. How many times do we need to be treated to Jessie’s shirt rip display? I was actually happy to see Russell. Lydia? Not so much.

Regardless of the final two, if America gets to vote, they’ll need to ask for it before the end of the game in order for there to be time for the votes to be recorded, tabulated & finalized.
But could you imagine?

Natalie & Kevin Final 2: 2 Cents
Jury votes and it’s a tie: 6 Cents
America votes for Kevin to win: 500K
The look on Natalie’s face? Priceless

For me…it’s ABN, people. ABN. Anybody But Natalie. As Kevin said, “The word ‘lie’ in in her name.” What say you?

It is Thursday morning and tonight either Jordan or Jeff will be leaving the Big Brother 11 house. This is when I open up a post just for you to cast your vote to evict.

As it is in the Big Brother house, sometimes the 2 nominated house guests are friends and people you do not want to see go. This is when you have to think GAME and you have to chose one to walk out the door after eviction.

So who will it be?

Jordan who has been poor at competitions and skating by relying on Jeff’s guidance and assistance.

Or

Jeff who is a threat at most competitions and a strong player.

Personally, I think Jeff will be walking out of the house tonight. If Kevin, Natalie and Michele know anything about this game that is the most logical move. However, this is Big Brother and who knows what will happen tonight!

So the diary room is yours…please cast your vote to evict!

Peace, BBBlogger

PS: also vote at Big Brother Fans for a chance to win an Apple iPod! 3 polls to earn points and most points at the end of the season wins an iPod! Good luck!

Jeff vs Jordan is America’s worst case scenerio?

by BBBlogger on September 2, 2009

I have blogged about Big Brother for about 5 years now and I have never seen 2 house guests that America loves so much as Jeff and Jordan. In every poll I have put up…Jeff dominates…and Jordan is usually 2nd!

I even know happily married women who profess their undying love for Jeff just from watching this season of Big Brother. Crazy eh…

So with Michele doing the only thing she could do which is take herself off the block and solidify her final 4 position, Jordan was then put up in her place causing millions of fans to scream NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

So like it or not Jeff or Jordan is leaving the Big Brother house. My favorite part about this has been all the crazy ideas and scenerios that have come up. One has been about another VETO, one about another Coup d’Etat, one about America voting off who should go and another about Jordan leaving the house for Jeff. All very entertaing for sure!

So like it or not….one of the 2 will go. Game wise I think Jeff is out. Personally I would love to see Jeff stay and partner with Michele. (I want Michele to win it all still) So I am curious….what do you want to see? Who is leaving this week? Give me the final 4 scenerios you see and how Big Brother 11 is going to wind down?

Peace, BBBlogger

PS: still time to win an iPod at Big Brother Fans with 3 new polls up. Vote now since they close on Thursday before the live show!

Are we all suffering from BBFS? Big Brother Fatigue Syndrome? Seriously, it’s a new thing! The “slap chop” guy was promoting it just last night! No….really… 🙂 Oh, okay, just a bit of humor for our clever commentators!

Reading your posts and watching everything Big Brother makes me believe that we are rather annoyed with all the remaining HG’s. Instead of being excited about these last few weeks, it’s more like, “eh? What else is on?” Am I “off beat” or does this group seem much more vicious in their trashing of each other than past seasons? It’s my humble opinion that we’re all just a tad disappointed – okay a LOT disappointed in our Final 5 and that appears to be reflected in your posts.

But here’s something I was thinking about last night. Okay…it’s a stretch, but stay with me here…maybe Jeff is “acting” defeated and “pretending” he’ll be evicted when in possible reality – he already knows that the Pandora’s box key actually keeps him safe from eviction. It seems that most of us really like the Dyn-o-mite team of JJ and maybe CBS is afraid of the collective *click* of the channel switch they’ll hear if Jeff, the most popular player this season, is evicted. After all, this IS Big Brother! They control everything about this game. That’s the definition of Big Brother! Just like this board…Big Brother is watching…it’s a thought and maybe a hope that Jeff will be around to see Final 2.

In the meantime, the veto was used by Michele – on Michele, of course. The mean spirited plot Natalie cooked up fell flat, and it wasn’t even strategy, it was just villainous. Now Jeff & Jordan sit on the block together, side by side. Someone’s going home. Jeff has resigned himself for eviction and is disappointed in who he has become as a person in this game. He said he can’t even look at himself in the mirror due to his behavior.

Kevin & Natalie, the high-fiving squirrels, are thrilled at the future accolades they’ll receive from the jury house castaways. The trash talk continued and the forming of some new, but sort of unrealistic alliances, took place as well. If Natalie and Kevin make it to the Final 2, Natalie may not win because she knows the jury probably likes Kevin over her. But she believes she can win over Jordan or Michele.

I still think Kevin is conflicted. I think he wants to make the right moves, but he’s just not sure what those are. Although he talks a big game to Natalie and has her assurance that Jeff is out this week, it would be nice for him to make a bold move of evicting Jordan. If he took Jeff to Final 2 with him, he has a better chance of winning the 500K.

Jordan is campaigning for Jeff to stay and for the HG’s to vote her out. She believes he’s done all the work (you don’t say…) and deserves to stay over her. But she is making plans for a Final 2 deal, which is smart because she probably won’t be evicted this week.

Michele is playing solo – ostracized by the other HG’s. The only time she was allowed to “hang” with the “cool kids” was when she was sitting on a toilet seat suspended from a metal structure. No one in that house has really stepped up to play with her, try to be her friend or attempt a true alliance. She said yesterday that she felt like Zach from Season 8. So props to her for forging ahead, holding her own and making it to the Final 4.

What’s to come for our Houseguests? And what about us, the viewing audience? Surely CBS must have something up their network sleeve by way of entertainment. I’m hoping for a huge, shocking twist! How about you?

{ Comments on this entry are closed }

It’ll be another hot day for the Houseguests in their California Big Brother house. At least they can splash around in a pool and enjoy the A/C! The frequent comparison to “hamsters” isn’t all that far off! They sleep a lot, eat a lot, play games, bicker, fight and the way they rehash events is kind of like being on a hamster wheel!

So…even after Jordan decided last week that Natalie was untrustworthy, she was cutting deals with her yesterday for Final 2, saying the jury votes would be “fair” were it between the two of them. Does that mean Natalie’s final 2 deal with Kevin is off? Doubtful. Natalie may not be much of a winner in mental, physical or any other kind of competitions, but she wins hands down in deception and manipulation. She speaks endlessly about how athletic she is, that she’s smarter than Michele (!) and how she can win, but she doesn’t win.

Michele is the only HG who outwardly says that she doesn’t understand why everyone wants to keep Natalie around. But since Michele is their favorite punching bag, no one listens to her. Michele has played this game alone from day one. Everyone partnered up fairly early on, and she was never invited to play their “reindeer games.” At this point, I think it would be kinda nice to see her win the whole thing.

And I do have a correction: Yesterday, while Natalie spoke of the first HOH competition, she sarcastically stated, “I won the first HOH, pretty sure I did…” Well…the truth is, she DID win the first HOH, but it was automatically given to Jessie as part of the “clique” twist.

Jeff believes he is out of options, yet he still hasn’t tried to strike a deal with Kevin – the one person who holds the deciding, tie-breaking vote. It appears that he’s resigned himself to eviction and his ultimate doom in the jury fun house.

And to be honest with you all…some of the content on the feeds and BBAD was just too much for me to take. The endless trashing of HG’s and constant smacking while eating (I know they can’t help it – it’s amplified) and Natalie running her mouth makes me very grateful for the FF & mute buttons on the laptop & remote.

But here’s something to consider: Unless they bring back an evicted Houseguest to make a jury of 7, America may get the deciding vote on who the winner of Big Brother 11 will be. Or maybe they’ll let us vote on which evicted Houseguest should be allowed to vote for the winner. And maybe there’s still a twist yet to come and we’ll find out Thursday.

We all have to stay tuned…even if our favorite goes home this week.

Another Pleasant Valley Sunday in the BB House!

by BBBlogger on August 30, 2009

After a day of nominations and a late night POV, the HG’s were oh so tired yesterday! It’s been blazing hot on the West Coast, so Jeff & Michele spent some time in the pool, but mostly our final 5, tired or not, kept plotting and planning their next move in the game.

Just for fun, I thought I’d take a moment to give a little bit of background on our Final 5. You can get more info from the CBS website, but I wanted to highlight just a little bit about each of our contestants:

Jeff is an advertising salesman (Don Draper from Mad Men – anyone?), outdoor guy who loves to play sports. He considers himself witty, outgoing, adventurous & curious. He hopes to play the game in a way that it won’t embarrass his family. He’s most proud of playing running back for Benedictine University. He turned 31 in June.

Jordan is a some time waitress who considers her mom her hero and believes it will be difficult to be apart from her for so long being in the Big Brother house. She has a brother & sister and says that no matter what happens in the house, she’ll still stay the same sweet person she’s always been. She’s a party girl who won’t get intimate on TV because her Grandfather will be watching. She’s 23.

Kevin is a graphic designer who was excommunicated from his family at age 21 for having not followed the Jehovah’s Witness faith. He’s had no contact with his family or those friends in almost 9 years and he hopes that being on Big Brother will show his family that he’s accomplished something. He turns 30 next month.

Michele at age 27, has her Ph.D. in Neuroscience. She’s a news junkie, former band geek and self-proclaimed nerd who used to get beat up in school for being the smartest kid in class. She’s hoping to win by not dominating competitions and stay under the radar.

Natalie holds a bronze medal in Tae Kwon Do as a World Champion (not Olympic). She claims to have no problem lying, cheating & stealing to further herself in the game. She also considers herself a big poker player who will use those skills to win. She’s 24.

I know we mostly know this stuff, but sometimes we forget that our HG’s have lives outside of the BB house! They all have reasons for being there and reasons to win!

And for you Jeff fans – he may not be down & out. Michele is scheming to find a way for him to stay and it appears the two have made up, in a sense. And Kevin & Natalie were actually trying to convince Jeff to convince Michele to use the POV on Jeff! Like that would happen! Jeff called them “cuckoo for Coco Puffs” for that idea and Natalie assumes now that Michele has a “crush” on Jeff.

If Michele takes herself off, up goes Jordan. If the vote is split – Michele for Jordan, Natalie for Jeff – Kevin breaks the tie and more than likely Jeff goes home. Unless Jeff can cut a deal with Kevin, who doesn’t appear to be very enthusiastic about bouncing Natalie, he has a slim chance of remaining in the house. Of course Nat continues to say she can beat Michele in anything mental or physical, cuz “Physical’s my thing” and I guess Kevin is ignoring her BB history of not winning anything.

It’s all a Big Brother balloon in the air, so post your thoughts! The HG’s may be losing focus, but let’s try to stay on topic here! And BBBlogger says to keep it clean and nice and NOT PERSONAL or the comments will be turned off!

Remember…Big Brother is watching! 🙂

Mysteries abound in the Big Brother House!

by BBBlogger on August 29, 2009

With only 5 Houseguests remaining in the Big Brother House, the nominations & POV are more critical than ever if Kevin has a hope of making it to the Final 2.

To relieve some stress, Big Brother awarded the Houseguests with a strange challenge (they said don’t call it a Luxury) that involved falling money, a secret door, handcuffs, a “lost” Kevin, a “found” Kevin, clues, “Pandora’s Box,” and a key. The details are still so sketchy, I don’t want to assume the conclusion since it appears there is still some mystery for them to uncover! A new power, perhaps? Or part of the POV competition?

Once the fun was over, Kevin spoke to the Houseguests to see where their “heads were at” as far as nominations. This gets a little funny (to me) because I think Jeff is now the poster boy as to why you shouldn’t use the Veto. He used it to take Russell off the block, and Russell voted to keep Jessie in the house, who was Jeff’s target. Jeff also used the Veto on Kevin and removed him from the block based on the promise that if Kevin won HOH he wouldn’t put Jeff on the block.

Whoopsie! SPOILER: Kevin went through several scenarios and only to decide that he only had a few choices of block sitters and unfortunately, Jeff had to be one of them. Their discussion got somewhat heated, but Kevin was being forthright explaining to Jeff that he didn’t want to be like Marcellas (BB Seasons 3 & 7) and make a huge mistake or the dumbest move in BB history. Clearly Jeff is not happy, and he’s hoping to win the POV. He also reminded Jordan that she needs to be focused on winning, too, so she could get him off the block. But she just twirled her hair, gave him that “look,” and said a half-hearted “Yeah, yeah…okay.” Poor Jeff. He looks so defeated these days!

For those of you who think Michele is Kevin’s target, that’s not exactly true. He stated several times that he wanted J&J out. And he still has Natalie chirping away as if she’s HOH this week and calling all the shots and in a way, she is. To me, her arrogance and entitlement attitude toward Kevin is kinda like Randy, the marionette puppet on Pee Wee’s Playhouse who would drop from the sky to make Pee Wee’s life miserable. If only Kevin had Jambi to grant a wish…

At midnight, after scaring the HG’s with “aliens” and flashlights in the mirrors, they dressed up in space suits and BB held the Face Morphing POV competition. The feeds didn’t return until after 3:00 this morning (PST)…and the winner? MICHELE WON POV! Since she’s on the block with Jeff, she’ll use it on herself, Kevin will nominate Jordan and more than likely, Jeff will go home. Evidently, Michele blasted through this competition to win, Natalie squeezed by Jeff for second, and last place? No surprise there: Jordan. And I haven’t heard if “Pandora’s Box” had anything to do with the POV.

Sorry folks. Looks like the Jeff/Jordan “couple” is about to be split. But this is Big Brother, so expect the unexpected! Where do we go from here?

Thoughts? Ideas? Strategies? I thought so… 😉

{ Comments on this entry are closed }

What a departure! It was clear early in the day that this board wanted Natalie to be evicted (I know I did), but that’s not how it went down last night. No matter what side of the house your vote fell, Russell’s eviction from the Big Brother house was dignified and classy. And his subsequent conversation with Julie assured us that he understands this game and knows that Jeff made the right play. He would have done the same thing to Jeff if given the opportunity and that’s part of what we love about Big Brother!

We were also forced to see Lydia & Jessie in the Jury House. (I did the peekie through the fingers thing) Jessie’s choice of apparel was, interesting…but he’s a man that loves the cameras and isn’t exactly shy about his personal exposure! Of course I was expecting to see him standing in the wind donning the Captain Unitard outfit surrounded by smoke & mirrors. And with all of Lydia’s trash talk about Jessie and how he “played” she and Natalie, it was all hugs, kisses & smiles upon seeing him. Not at all like she said she’d be toward him, but who here was surprised?

During the HOH competition, the disappointed look on Jeff’s face as he watched Jordan was obvious. I think he was hoping she’d step up and give it 110% for this all important competition, but he was wrong again about her focus and physical ability. It makes me wonder exactly why she entered this game in the first place. Perhaps she didn’t realize how difficult it would be or perhaps she simply lacks the competitive spirit. Natalie had a disappointing finish, basically giving up when she saw how well her partner was performing. Michele had some hard falls, but she kept on going knowing she probably wouldn’t win.

The Russell bashing continued last night and Michele spent much of the evening crying with the thought that she’s next out of the house. Watching Kevin read his letter from home was both sweet and emotional. Interesting that he wanted Hamburger Helper in his HOH basket! I’m sure that’s a BB first!

Kevin has some tough decisions ahead and we know Natalie will be a constant chirp in his ear. Maybe he’ll decide to silence the bird…maybe he’ll try to get Jeff out of the house or at least split up the J&J couple. Or maybe he’ll go after Michele who is strong in her own right. Not too many choices when it comes down to the Final 5 – so what do you want him to do? What do you think he WILL do?

Be kind, show respect and let the speculation begin!
