IT’S THE BIG BROTHER 11 FINALE!
*************************

Can you believe we finally made it to the end of Season 11 of Big Brother? After all the fights, disagreements, hard luck stories, tantrums, lies, frustrations and nastiness – and that was just on this board 🙂 It’s all over tonight! We’ll finally get to see who wins the final HOH, the reaction of the departing Houseguest, and who they bring to the Final 2!

Many of us considered leaving our Big Brother show, but none of us could. Besides being a lesson in human behavior, this show is entertaining no matter how you look at it. Most of us were disgusted by Chima; thought Ronnie was quirky; laughed at Casey; voted for Jeff’s Coup D’etat; we were charmed by Jordan’s innocence; bored with Jessie’s ego; puzzled by Russell intentions; confused by Michele; fascinated with Lydia’s bodily illustrations; became annoyed with Kevin & Natalie; and barely got to know Laura and Braden!

It may not go down as one of our favorite Big Brother seasons of all time, but it certainly gave us plenty to chat about here. I, for one, have enjoyed every minute of this board as I did when I first found it during Season 8. Like the Donato season of Big Brother, we shut down BBBlogger’s site more than a few times with all the traffic!

And next year? I think we’ll all be back. Because the bottom line is that we love this show. Most of us haven’t had this much fun since we were kids on summer vacation. And for that we have BBBlogger to thank. Some of us will hike on over to the Survivor blog and many of the others he has waiting for us. And some of us may not come back until next summer for Big Brother 12. Either way, we’ll watch the Finale tonight, we’ll cheer on our favorite and we will all bask in the last summer sun as it sets on Big Brother 11. =^^=

Last night’s show was done in typical Big Brother fashion, highlighting some of the more stirring events of the season: Chima’s departure, Jeff’s Coup D’etat win, Kevin’s shout out with Ronnie and Ronnie’s melt down (they only showed one, there were several) Casey’s banana suit, the sobbing over Jessie’s eviction, Jeff & Jordan’s goofy conversations and Natalie’s dramatic, screaming fear of flying insects.

And it’s not any more eventful in the BB house now than it has been for the last few days. Most of the game talk has subsided and turned to former competitions and personal confessions. It appears our high-fiving squirrels remembered America is watching and they’d better behave if they want our vote. Every season I wonder why they wait so long to conclude this show. They know when it’s coming, it’s not like they can’t plan for it.

In past seasons, the Final 2 remain in the house for days before the Finale. Besides only having only each other to talk to and some games to play, it’s pretty boring for the viewers of the live feeds and BBAD. In my opinion, they ought to mix up the final week, bring 4 HG’s down to 2 and have their finale on Thursday which wouldn’t disrupt their schedule or ratings.

Tomorrow will end this season in a way no other BB season has. Kevin & Jordan will compete in the third and final HOH competition, the winner will take one HG to the Final 2, the third HG will go off to be with the jury and will have very little time to weigh their vote for the winner. How this will play out has been a source of serious debate on this board and I doubt that today or tomorrow will be any different. It all depends on who wins – who they take – and if they take the person they truly believe they can win against.

It’s your call, and one thing has been clear: Very few people here want Natalie to win anything!

COUNTDOWN: 2 Days Remain in the Big Brother House!

COUNTDOWN: 2 Days Remain in the Big Brother House!

I got nothin’ for ya…head back to camp. Oh, wait…wrong blog. I wish I had more to report, but with the exception of Natalie’s mouth runneth over, there’s not much going on in the Big Brother house. It’s kinda sad to see the live feeds of pillows, hallways, empty rooms and sofas. There is still the occasional fish face when they talk about diary room sessions or people they are unauthorized to speak of.

These Houseguests are Chairmen of the BORED! There’s no one else to talk to and they don’t trust each other. Jordan is working on her tan, Kevin is indecisive, and the deck of cards Natalie plays with non-stop will need to be burned after the show is over. I think ya’ll know what I mean. But at least our final 3 chatted it up a bit last night and spared BBAD viewers the endless bashing sessions of previous HG’s! They almost seemed like friends. And one thing is clear: They all miss their loved ones and can’t wait to get home.

Just a reminder, if you enjoyed this blog, don’t forget that BBBlogger has a Survivor blog, too. In case you missed the link the other day, here it is:

Survivor Samoa Blog

Please join the fun since many of us will move over there once the season begins. Sign up for the daily e-mails so you’ll be notified of the new blogs & events.

Let’s watch the unseen footage tonight and come back here and chat about it!

Final 3 Houseguests! Final 3 days in the Big Brother House!

You would think that the 3 remaining Houseguests would enjoy their last few days in the BB house, sipping on soda, lounging by the pool, skipping around playing with butterflies. Nope. Once again, Natalie spent much of her time trashing the former HG’s, mostly Michele…you know the drill. It never ends with her. It looked to me that Jordan was still the odd man out, so…Status Quo in the BB house!

Certainly they’re bored at this point with only each other for company! So Big Brother gave them some more modeling clay, a croquet set and some dominoes to play with and they appeared to be grateful for their new toys. (I think Candyland for Jordan or Rock’em Sock’em Robots for Kevin & Nat would have been more appropriate.)

They spoke about the 9/11 attacks and Kevin commented that Natalie was only 11 years old when it happened. I wonder how he will feel when he finds out that as much as she pledged her allegiance to him, she never confided the truth to him about her age. Last night he told her he doesn’t believe she’s 18 and he said they’d talk about it after the Finale.

Kevin told Jordan that he might “tell her” meaning tell Natalie that he’s taking Jordan to Final 2 because he knows Natalie will “flip” as he says – ballistic will be more like it. He thinks Jordan and himself would benefit most from the cash. At least Kevin appears grateful for having met the other HG’s even if he didn’t care for some of them. He liked the social experience, where Natalie says BB was a life long dream for her, but only appears to care about the money. Natalie + Focus = $$$.

Sunday’s show will consist of memorable moments in the BB11 house, and some unseen footage. Monday will probably be much like today, but Tuesday is the big Finale with the last HOH competition and our winner will be crowned!

What do you think? Will Kevin really tell Nat he’s taking Jordan to Final 2 if he wins HOH and “knock her block off” or will he keep quiet until the finale? If Jordan wins HOH, who is her best bet to take with her in order for her to win the Grand Prize?

COUNTDOWN: only 4 Days Remain for Big Brother 11!

COUNTDOWN: 4 Days Remain for Big Brother 11!

What a great show last night! CBS gave us a little shot in the arm with their shake up of the Finale and our Final 3! And to see Jordan win the second part of the HOH competition was fantastic! You could hear the audience support for Jordan, and the eerie silence when Natalie was up. Jordan really did a great job but could barely celebrate her victory over the complaints and excuses from Natalie’s loss. I especially enjoyed Julie Chen cutting Natalie off mid-sentence by reminding her that it was both a mental & physical competition.

Julie announced that next Tuesday, Finale night, will be the FINAL HOH competition. Only Kevin & Jordan will compete. The new HOH will be crowned, they’ll evict the last HG and that person will be immediately whisked off to be with the jury to ask questions of the Final 2. Then the winner of Big Brother 11 will be crowned in a special 2-hour event! And as we were hoping, America gets to be the tie-breaking vote. The details are on the CBS website.

For me…a die hard BB fan…I was thrilled to see Mike Boogie, Janelle, Evel Dick and especially Danielle. I would love to see another All Stars with either all winners, or all first or last evicted HG’s, or some of the more memorable players.

Jeff’s entry into the jury house was full of smiles & hugs and even Russell didn’t sweep the floor with him as he promised. He gave him a “bro hug” and they were all happy to see that he was finally evicted! Jessie immediately ratted out Natalie’s real age… seems she’s detested in the jury house, but it could be clever editing, too.

I’m actually a little excited for the Finale now knowing that Jordan still has a shot at the money! Kevin may take Jordan thinking Natalie has so many “friends” in the jury house. But I think if Jordan wins HOH, she should take Natalie. I think she has a better chance of winning against her over Kevin, who the jury praises for booting out Jeff..

On a side note…While we are all thinking about Big Brother, let’s remember that today is the 8th anniversary of the attacks of 9/11. It seems long ago, but please let us never forget.

Let’s hear your thoughts, strategies and hopes for our Final 3 Big Brother Houseguests!

It’s the last THURSDAY in the Big Brother House! Just 5 days left!!!

We’re hoping to crown a new and final HOH tonight during the live show, and CBS will be bring back a few HG’s from prior seasons to chat up this season with Julie Chen. Evel Dick Donato, Winner of Season 8, one of the most popular/controversial HG’s ever; the lovely Janelle Pierzina from Season 6 & All Stars Season 7; Danielle Reyes, Runner up from Season 3 & HG from All Stars Season 7; and Chilltown member Mike “Boogie” Malin from Season 2 and winner of All Stars Season 7!

Despite the disappointment BB fans have had for this season, THERE WILL BE A BB12 next summer! According to CBS, The ratings have increased, and the live feed subscription jumped a whopping 94% from last year! We may complain, but we love this show! I just hope they’re more selective about the contestants. Kevin remarked yesterday that he’d like to become a part of the casting process! What do you all have to say about that one???

Here is a quote from yesterday’s CBS press release:

“BIG BROTHER concludes its 11th edition with a special two-hour LIVE finale and reunion show, hosted by Julie Chen, next Tuesday, Sept. 15 (9:00-11:00 PM ET/delayed PT) as the Final Three (Jordan, Kevin and Natalie) face off for the $500,000 grand prize.”

The Final 3 face off? Does this mean the HOH really has no power to decide the HG they will take to the Final 2? Or they can’t decide until Finale night? Or maybe CBS is worried about spoilers & sites like this and that having the two high-fiving squirrels in Final 2 will plummet their ratings!

In past seasons, they have the final competitions, crown the new HOH, evict the last HG, and the Final 2 stay in the house together for a few days before the Finale! What will happen tonight? And how would they break a tie if they wait until the finale to crown the winner? I would think this means America cannot be the tie-breaking vote since there wouldn’t be time to tabulate the results. This is Big Brother, so expect the unexpected!

Every Thursday, we cast our votes to evict! But will anyone be evicted tonight? In the meantime, we can still cast our votes to evict, so please do so now!

COUNTDOWN: 6 Days Remain in the Big Brother House!

by BBBlogger on September 9, 2009

And then there were 3…

The tension was high in the BB house yesterday! Michele was getting physically sick about the live show and Kevin & Natalie were individually going back & forth with Jordan to take her to the Final 2. Jordan makes a deal with Kevin saying she’s with him 100%, then runs off and tells Natalie what Kevin said! Well played Jordan…well played.

As expected, Kevin voted off Michele ignoring her final pleas to remain in the house and her threats of jury tampering. Natalie thinks he did it all for her. This season is all about her; right? She’s entitled to this win, she’s owed this win and Kevin needs to succeed in the comps, step aside to give it to her in all her “blown-up crowned” glory. If something doesn’t happen on Thursday, we may have to face it together… Natalie could win Big Brother 11.

Kevin won the first of the HOH competitions after Jordan dropped and Natalie voluntarily jumped off – after Kevin’s promise to take her to Final 2. She will basically go through the motions for these competitions because she’s already spending the 500K. I was really hoping the producers would toss an ice block at her to *whoopsie!* knock her off the log and call it an accident. 🙂 After the comp she bragged about how she could have lasted double what she did. Why didn’t anyone ask her: “Why didn’t you?”

Kevin’s competitive spirit has really come out in recent weeks and if he wants to evict Natalie, he’d better win this final HOH. He’s strong with house trivia and has proven his focus for endurance. If he could get rid of Natalie, he wouldn’t have to hear that chirp-turned-squawk in his ear anymore.

And assuming applause, Natalie says: “America, you hear that? He is taking me to the end!!!” Or is he? There can still be deals made and solidified before Thursday. Who wins? And who will they take to Final 2?

But before you answer that, how about this: How much do you love this blog? How much fun do you have chatting up strategies, criticizing the HG’s and outguessing the BB house? Well, the season is nearly over and I would like to make a polite request of a donation to BBBlogger for all he does for us. I know times are tough, but every little bit helps. There’s a small donation button near the center of the screen. Maybe consider using it today to say Thank You to our fearless leader. Just sayin’…

Just want to let you all know that tonight with a week left, once there are 3 house guest left they will start a 3 part final HoH competition! Part 1 is usually an endurance competition so we can expect that is what they leave us with tonight.

Sooo….

That means that once the cameras fade to black, people will jump on the feeds, jump online, try to find out what is going on.

Since I run 3 very high traffic websites on this server….chances are…it will be SLOW and at times DOWN. It is the price for running popular Big Brother website. Just know that we are here and keep trying…

Lastly, if you are on Twitter….follow @TweetTheFeeds and we will keep you in the know who is winning and what is going on!

So….get ready to comment and watch as the FINAL 3 duke it out!

Peace, BBBlogger

Only One Week Left in the Big Brother 11 house!

by BBBlogger on September 8, 2009

Four HG’s remain. Final 2 combinations are few. The Big Brother Finale is a week from today! Even still, paranoia was hitting Natalie hard last night as she became more and more distrusting of Kevin and what he’ll do on Thursday! She was even yelling and threatening Big Brother to the point where there were lots of fish on the screen for a while!

We can say what we want about Kevin, but he’s really thinking this through. And he knows it all depends on the jury votes. I think Kevin would win with America’s tie-breaking vote if he’s up against Natalie. We may not agree with Natalie’s “strategy” but like I said before, whatever it was, it worked! And what if it were a man doing the same thing? Would we all be as critical? Just sayin’…

With that, I’d still like to see Natalie voted out before Final 2…then sent to the jury house… and watch as she (cue the music please…) gently breaks it to Jessie that she’s engaged… and he *sniff* *sniff* has no chance with her. Then see her shocked face when he says, “Oh…whatever…” and goes back to admiring his biceps! I think he’s completely oblivious of how she thinks he feels about her in the BB world according to Nat.

The POV ceremony was held yesterday and Kevin used the POV on himself, so Michele & Jordan now sit on the block. Natalie wants Michele out – period. I think ultimately he’ll abide by Natalie’s wishes and take Jordan to Final 3. And it could be because Kevin is seriously thinking about taking Jordan to Final 2. Kevin may vote out Michele for his own purposes, but it would be a win/win for him since Natalie would think he did it for her.

Jordan was very well liked in the house, but Kevin could easily win over her after the jury’s dislike of Jeff. We’re getting closer to the end here, so tell us what you’d like to see happen before the CBS curtain closes on Big Brother 11.

It’s Labor Day Monday in the Big Brother House!

by BBBlogger on September 7, 2009

Yes, Big Brother, we are still watching and trying to be good little commentators. And one small bright light was seeing that Kevin does know Natalie for who she is. But as Natalie rode the cape of Super Jessie, so does Kevin ride the HOH robe of Natalie to further himself in the game. He’s very lucky that he won POV, since his partner opted for time with her boyfriend instead of helping him to victory. But was it because she wanted to see him or because she (again) just didn’t care about the comp?

On a side note…if CBS really wanted to make the HG’s “annoyed” all they had to do was put Chima’s voice over loudspeaker or put Jessie’s flexing on a big screen. They could have saved money on the baby costume & talent fees.

Under the “is it just me category,” am I the only one who was surprised by Natalie’s reaction to her boyfriend? I would think there would have been joyful tears and affection toward seeing a loved one after being cut off for the last two months. And when he got down on his knee and proposed marriage to her – he choked up a little, but she seemed not to care unless he handed her a “Monty Hall” over-sized check instead of a twist tie, makeshift ring. I’m sure it may have been awkward since it was televised, but it seemed completely emotionless & staged to me.

And instead of sharing the news of her “engagement” Natalie’s default is set to “lie” first, which is what she did to the HG’s. Natalie could put the game on hold long enough for a fashion show…for collecting money in the yard…for gathering clothes in the house for the “luxury” comp…for spending hours and hours coming up with hateful nomination & POV speeches…but she appeared to be happier about the sushi than spending extra time with her boyfriend. I think it’s clear where the priorities are in her life and he’d better run for his!

Much of the feeds and BBAD contained some interesting dialogue and content. There were some cute Q&A’s between Michele & Jordan. Jordan is afraid to fly, and the subject of the Hawaii trip with Jeff came up. Michele’s answers were thoughtful and funny. The entire segment was actually kind of sweet. Meanwhile, Natalie was planning her POV speech. Wait…her speech? Kevin won, so isn’t he the one who gets to give a speech? Well, not in the technicolor world of Natalie.

I think the twists are done and Pandora’s Box was disappointing…so I ask you…do you think Kevin will decide to keep Michele for his own end game instead of worrying about the wrath of Natalie? Do you think Jordan would be all that upset if she’s voted out? After last night’s episode, have you changed your mind about Natalie?
