Last night Big Brother’s clumsy clip show really didn’t show us anything new – except Kristen eating a dead spider and the overreaction of the other HGs. I think she forgot she was in the Big Brother house and not in a wet cave on Fear Factor. And as uneventful as it’s been in the BB house, after seeing who makes up the jury and the evicted HGs, do you really miss these folks? It’s clear every season that BB provides a really nice dinner for the Final 3 and instructs them to talk about their former HGs so they can insert the accompanying clips. Similar to the final cast members of Survivor reminiscing as they walk along grabbing memorabilia of the tribe members they outlasted.
Clever CBS editing turned some of the most verbally vile HGs into likable cast members. And with a clip clip here and there, some who were relatively harmless grew Big Brother tails & horns. The ” ‘rastling” between Britney & Lane was cute, but we saw that footage a few weeks ago. And did we really need to hear Rachel’s laugh again? Along with the spot on HG parody impersonations? Be honest…did you hit the “mute” button on your remote?
And under the “Is it me or…” file am I the only one who thought the Zingbot idea was more than likely the result of a nightmare after a bad taco by one of the CBS Competition Creators? And the giant singing clam decked out in a bow tie must have been after some bad cheese indeed.
Enzo knows his Penguin is cooked and his chances of making it to the Final 2 are slim to none. But that’s not stopping him from campaigning between snacks and naps. He’s trying to convince them both to take him because he “ain’t won nuttin’ but a Vedo,” and they won’t vote for him “on accounta I made ’em laugh.” Do you agree? Here’s a guy who doesn’t think Alaska is a state because it’s not attached. But he also formed the alliance, so while he only has one Veto and a 3D TV, he did make it to Final 3.
After seeing Captain Kosher, it got me to thinking…some of these HGs gave themselves appropriate nicknames, especially Meow Meow since all he does is sleep. Seriously. He gets up to take a break from sleeping, gets tired from his break and goes back to bed. I don’t know how he’ll get a sitcom with a sleep-based plot, but “That’s Our Enzo!”
We’re not going to be seeing any DR sessions to know what these self-proclaimed “Dodos” are thinking, so while we wait for Wednesday’s finale, let’s have some fun! Share your favorite moments of the season and give yourself a Big Brother nickname! We have da Brains, da Beast, da Animal, Captain Kosher, Meow Meow, and some other nicknames I won’t put in print, so what’s yours? What would you name your fellow blog mates? I stated on the last blog that CBS is lazy with this show. If you look at the ratings, BB leads every other show at that time slot every night it is on. Too bad they cannot be more creative.

I would like to have Meow Meow come to my house. My dog hates cats and kills them. I, personally, don’t hate them but if they don’t stay out of my yard, they are fair game. Doesn’t bite them, just shakes them to death and wonders why they don’t get back up and play. I think he believes they are just moving toys. However, Meow Meow is one I would let him have at it.

Granted a bad year for BB for the show, not for the ratings – but this quality of “entertaiment” could effect future ratings. BBAD is a total turnoff as was the Live Feed after all competitors who were at all interesting (or even intelligent) were knocked off. At this point does anyone really care who wins? As far as I’m concerned A.B.E. – Anyone except Enzo. – But even at that, I don’t care. High hopes in the beginning, a dud ending.

these people may have money but none of us know what is going opn in thier lives. For example maybe they have a family member or a child with medical conditions that require medications or surgery or a disease all that could cost alot of money so maybe someone makes 100,000.00 a year and spends 40,000, 50,000 or more on medical issues. As the saying goes don’t judge lest ye be judged. Reason I can understand this is because my medications alone cost over 1000.00 a month out of pocket

Having money or not having money has no relevance on being a Houseguest on Big Brother. The show is not a charity and has never claimed to be. It is an excuse for us to escape our own reality for a bit, and indulge in some fun voyeuristic entertainment. And with this show, the true fanatic can watch them 24/7. Our voting should be decided by who we dislike or like… and even by who we think played the best/smartest game or was the most entertaining. I’m sorry to hear you don’t have insurance Tammy. I guess it’s hard to get insurance if you have a pre-existing condition. I know a few people that can’t get insurance for that same reason. Medical ‘anything’ is very expensive. 🙁

Sorry Tammy. If i had thought any of the three guys left had medical issues i wouldn’t have said what i said. BUT i seriously doubt that they do or they’d not be living as they are. I DO have medical probs and DO know how expensive it is and i don’t have even my own house or anything nice to the point i don’t even invite ppl over and my car looks like it belongs on blocks but sometimes you just hafta be glad i’m at least not in a tent somewhere.
As far as the show i guess i don’t think any of those three deserve the money and it’s just my opinion.
enzo is a big floater but when kathy was playing everyone bitched about her floating. so it’s just junk like that , that bother’s me.

Finally!!! Since you brought it up Betty, etc…..I am still scratching my head about that call yesterday and I watched replay after replay. Even the announcers couldn’t say much except it was a new rule. New rule???? It looked to me like he caught it in the end zone, both feet were down etc. What was the problem??? Why didn’t it count?? As far as Big Brother is concerned, well, I have to agree this year was really poor. I even switched back to HBO over Showtime since BBAD was a yawner!!! AHHHH remember the days of BBAD when Evil Dick was yelling and sneaking around??? Those were the days. As long as Enzo doesn’t win, I could care less who wins. I don’t think anyone of them “played” the game. If I had to choose out of the three, it would be Lane. I understand your point Tammy about people playing the game versus their needs, but why, if you have money, go on a reality show like this one and try to win over someone that really needs the money???? Just a thought.

That was my point Dawn the perception of having money doesn’t give the whole picture ie: medical problems, debts, extended family having problems the list is endless. take the guy on survivor for instance Russel owns an oil well but what wasn’t said is about how much money he owed it exceeded what he makes which explains why he was on the show

I don’t think anyone goes on BB or Survivor or Amazing Race to ‘make money’. They go for the adventure of the game… because they love the show and want to do it themselves. With the exception of the people that are ‘cast’ because they are looking for a ‘type’, which unfortunately, or maybe not, is happening more and more. With Survivor I know… can’t speak for BB, but from what some of you have said maybe so.

my fav part on bb was when ragan told rachel the only real thing about her was the zits on her chin.
and the puppet socks were really funny too, but not as funny as ragans comments.
Not even going to touch nicknames for anyone on this blog with a 10 foot pole, lol. I know that I have been called a few choice names, 🙂 but not even going to go there, cause those don’t count.

Dawn, it all had to due with money according to my bookie. To many bets against the Lions in Vegas and if the Lions won they would have really had to pay out mega bucks! Sad – football is getting like the boxing days of old.

OK, the reasons why people with money get on the show:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1) They generally have time to spend almost 3 months without working.
2)They usually are the personality types production is looking for.
3)They are paid while they are in the house, which is from any money they win while in the house.
4)I need the money, but no way in hell could I get that much time off.

Morning Blogade, Fran, i agree with you I think there should only be people on BB that need the money, I really hate to see people that are financially well off get even more money. these people are so boring they went to bed before 11:00 o’clock last night even before BBAD was over. It will be kind of a relief when this season is over i really thought season 1 was the worst season but this season was surely the worst. looking forward to survivor hopefully, that will be a good season. 😆

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------seems like forever since i was here, have been able to catch up on reading all the comments, i see not much going on, which might be a good thing. jane, got your email and txs for the txs lol, also wrote down info on the book, yes that is the one i was referring to.
so glad one more bbad, i really think for young men they do an awful lot of sleeping, especially enzo. they best get their sugar level checked, i know being bored can make you sleepy but how much they do seem a bit over the top. i think lane tries to keep busy by showering, i was taken a bit by surprise, how he turned on shower, walked away, checked himself out in the mirrir all the while water is running. he must have taken a shower that lasted at least 1/2 hr. guess that is his key to escape boredom. i noticed enzo telling hayden in the back yard how it was them two all the time together, as matt had ragan and lane had brit. guess he is still laying groundwork for him to co occupy the throne come finale. i still think it is going to be hayden and lane. looking forward to survivor, seems from what you all are saying it is really a good show.
