If you don’t want to know who won this week’s HoH, which was a test of endurance hanging upside down from a swing — then don’t read any more.
After more than two hours hanging upside down, Daniele is the new HoH. However, the test of endurance was another reason for evel Dick to pummel Jen and Kail with insults. Big Brother did his thing, too, making sure the houseguests were covered in goo the entire time.
The feeds kicked in as soon the contest was down to four — Jessica, Jen, Daniele and Kail. Jessica gave out due to arm pain and was consoled by Eric. That left Dick to hurl vile insults at Jen and Kail — all strategic, I’m sure. At one point, Dick invoked the wrath of Jameka for making fun of Kail’s faith.
Kail was perilously close to disqualification several times, and Jen might have been disqualified. Big Brother stepped in and took off the feed as Dick lodged a complaint to “Michael.”
Then in a twist of fate desperation style, with only Kail and Daniele left hanging, the Oregon mother got Daniele to promise NOT that she wouldn’t nominate her but that she would NOT go home. Daniele’s promise seems genuine, and I suspect Kail might be safe again this week.
Kail stepped off, giving Daniele the win, and Daniele made it clear to her dad what she had promised Kail, noting that she still planned on Jen going home. Tears and cheers abounded, and there you have it — first before anybody else, right here on big-brother-blog.com.
I suppose I should touch on the eviction, but because you know Kail was in the HoH competition, you know who went home. It was Nick in a 6-2 vote, with Dick and Daniele both voting to evict the Minnesota football stud.
Eric and Zach were again the two to vote outside the group, yet this time there was no time to deliberate on the voting. That could change tonight now that the emotional contest of endurance is finished; however, with the exchange between Daniele and Kail, I can’t imagine Kail would be on the block come next Thursday for a third straight week.
As I posted earlier tonight, the live feeds caught Kail asking for a drop-out form. Big Brother talked her out of it best I could tell, and Kail certainly battled hard in the HoH competition, even with Dick leveling insults.
As for Daniele’s task ahead of her, Zach and Jen seem to be the obvious choices with Kail as a possible back-door nominee. Other possible back-door nominees include Jameka, Jessica, Dustin and Amber.
While I know better than to trust a Big Brother houseguest when he or she gives their word, I suspect Kail is off the hook this week. So is Dick, and unless the LNC comes up with a back-door strategy, Jen is a marked, marked woman. Now, I will note — my personal opinion — that she’s not such a bad person relative to the crap she’s taken. I would also note though that Dick, as bad as he appears to be, is playing effectively at this point.

I can’t believe that Danielle got HOH! I am SICK, DISGUSTED and OUTRAGED the way “Evil Dick” (just what he is!!!) is allowed to violate, cuss and fight with Kail, Jen and Jameka the way he does! He is a BULLY, an ATHEIST and EVIL!!! The house should have already tried to get him out of there before he ends up winning the game! I hope Danielle will stick with her word to Kail and not nominate her this week. That would show some integrity, obviously her father knows nothing about that, and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I don’t know why America keeps saying they won’t her evicted! What has she done? Her and Jameka have never been anything but kind, respectful, honorable and honest to that whole house!!! Why does America won’t an “Evil” bully to win this game??? He makes me sick to my stomach! I hope that a “Christian” woman, such as Kail and Jameka, will win this competition and show “Evil” that GOD DOES AND WILL PREVAIL!!!

I am not sure why the houseguests still do not see Dick for what he really is, a bully, a man who obviously hates women, and a totally dishonest, insincere person. There is absolutely nothing to like about him and the sooner the guests can get together to find a way to get rid of him, the better off they will all be.
I still don’t by the “strained relationship” of father and daughter. I think Dick and Daniele are in it together to split the winnings when one of them wins the game.

Ahhhh that’s so sweet. I almost teared up when I saw Dick and Danielle exchange there hugs and whatnot. I’m glad Nick is gone. What kind of creep continues to profess his love for someone in a relationship who has clearly said she only wants to be friends??? Can anyone say stalker??? Danielle winning HOH is best case scenario for the group this week. Could she please put up Amber. Everything that happens in that house she cries over, good bad it doesn’t matter! And lie!!!! Right to Nick’s nether regions on the bed there, it was practically her idea to put him up! And Dustin should have taken the cruise and the money. It’s a game show, and you know, according to Jameka all pre-ordained anyway….

As a psychology major, I believe that Amber has some serious “issues” she needs to address. I have never witnessed anyone cry as much as she does. The tears may be a sign of bigger issues that have little to do with the house. Further, can someone please give the girl a comb!!

Amber has already said she takes anxiety meds and other various depression meds. And, I agree with you – that one has some major issues.
Hasn’t anyone noticed what a WIESEL Dustin has been. The worst HOH was HIM! HE split up many alliances based on pettiness! He’s sitting listening to everyone trying to wonder what happened while it was HE who GUARANTEED Kail that she would stay and TODAY, Kail got a guarantee from Danielle. Kail has played every single HOH like this! HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO people!! This is a pit of snakes and there is only one person telling the truth – believe it or not – DICK! You may not like his style but you canNOT discount the facts!! Doesn’t take a psychologist to realize these people are ALL troubled – Jameka has commited every sin in the book BUT murder!!! I think everyone likes Dick because he is so blunt and up front about EVERYTHING!! It’s so hilarious to watch! Yeah, I don’t agree with some of the things he says, such as telling Jen he has more respect for a pile of dog crap than her. That is going a little too far. He’s just REALLY entertaining to watch.

I was unaware of the whole meds thing with Amber. I still have a problem with the crying and definitely the grooming.
However, I agree that Dick is the ONLY straight shooter. I am beginning to like Jessica, but the voice thing really is going to take time. Jameka, what can you say, she hides behind Jesus only when it is convenient for her game play and not when she is scheming behind the backs’ of others.
I would like to see Jessica win it….she seems like she is the most sincere and nice.

I agree…ENOUGH with Amber’s crying. I think that she, too, has some issues going on. As for Dick, yes, he does tell it straight, but it’s how he says it…it’s abusive and uncalled for! I WANT HIM RAN OUT OF TOWN! I can’t stand poor little Danielle either….why don’t someone run her out of town with her Pa!!!
