For those of you who didn’t know, Daniele won the PoV this weekend, and she’ll be using it come Tuesday night on herself.
Jameka is headed home.
We’ve heard that the final HoH of the season is an endurance competition, but we have also heard there is more than one competition left. Might there be a PoV at the end? It seems to me in past years that whoever won HoH basically picked who was going to the finale with him.
So, let’s talk strategy here. If you’re each of the remaining houseguests, presuming Jameka is evicted Tuesday night, who do you take to the finale with you?
If I’m Daniele, I take Zach. Why? You don’t want seven jury members thinking even for a second that the source of my success was my father. I won multiple PoVs, multiple HoHs, and I had the balls to evict my own father.
If I’m Dick, I take Daniele. Why? It seems all the bad Dick did this year was in the name of protecting his daughter in the game. If he were to boot her now, should he have the opportunity, he’d just seem like a crass %$^#$@! He needs to bring Daniele with him so the jury members can make that connection between her success and his existence.
If I’m Zach, I take Dick. Look, it’s no guarantee that Zach would win because, historically, houseguests have frowned upon rewarding “floaters,” and Zach would technically be considered a floater. However, Daniele would destroy him in a final vote. Destroy.
Right now, if I’m guessing reality and not strategy, I say a Zach-Daniele finale results in a Daniele victory, possibly 7-0, a Zach-Dick finale results in a close Dick win, and a Dick-Daniele finale results in a stunning Dick upset. I just think in a finale vote situation, Dick will get a lot of the credit for maintaining an environment that made it possible for Daniele to succeed.

Everyone must stop responding to anything Ronjj says. I mean really, guys, he hates this show, he obviously doesn’t “get” it, it’s the first season he’s ever watched and thinks he has to “see it through.” He doesn’t. I started watching Saving Grace, HATED it, and quit watching after about 3 shows.. It’s easy.
Anyway, back to the game. I STILL would LOVE to see D&D in the end. They have played the best of anyone. However…if somehow Zach ends up in the final 2, the jury will vote for him – period. Think about the jury, people. They’re bitter, angry and were outplayed by a man that could be their dad. And their little, fragile feelings got in the way of smart moves in the game.

no matter how this shakes out…i think dick is the big winner in this. he spent the summer getting to know his estranged daughter and in the process seems to have thoroughly divided the big brother viewers. you either love dick or you hate him..and i for one love dick donato! dick can be charming as well as crude…and yes he did make a lot of rude insulting comments but at the same time he always entertained us with his antics. people have complained about dick..thrown things at their tv because of dick…screamed in disbelief at dick…rolled on the floor laughing at dick…and i even had tears in my eyes a few times because of dick. when he told the story of his best friend dying of an overdose you got to see the loyal friend in dick…and the time daniele treated him not so nicely you could read dick’s hurt all over his face. dick is a real person and his real life was being played out on our tv screens….emotionally dick and daniele’s story touched my heart and big brother became more than just a tv show to me. kudos to cbs executives for casting dick this season. people probably said you were crazy …maybe you were…crazy like a fox that is.

If either of those lying, scheming donatos win I will boycott CBS for life. I don’t care what show comes on! They played a good game by lying and by cheating ie:Dick burned Jen touched her by throwing tea over her head, tryed to forcefully make the players uncomfortable with the threat of violence and bullying and last but not least did he not admit to working out a code with his son and his letter? Is this legal? Why was he not penalized?? Even though people say they played a good game by lying and cheating Zach and Jameka are still there too. And they didn’t have to sell their souls to the devil. They played clean and they are still sitting beside them in the same game in the same house. Why do you say Jameka is already gone? Did I miss something? Couldn’t they still vote out Dick?

POV for Dani and she uses the POV on herself. Immediately after Zach is force to put Jameka on the hot seat to replace Dani. Then Dani votes for Jameka to leave, but Dick is also assessed a penalty vote by the CBS producers for his illegal use of code communications with the outside, so it’s tied one-to-one. Zach then is forced to vote and casts his vote to eliminate Dick.
So, Dick leaves in this unexpected turn of events(Expect the Unexpected), and the final three is Dani, Zach and Jameka. In the final HOH competition if either Zach or Dani wins, they oust Jameka. If Jameka wins she takes Zach to the final 2!!

Happy Belated 37th Birthday. Got a good giggle out of all the posts and opinions. Most of which I whole-heartedly agree. I do think CBS, Showtime and Big Brother should be ashamed of this season’s “accident you can’t take your eye’s off of but want to”. Can’t wait til its over just to see how things shake out. And as far as ED, I’d much rather be stabbed in the front than in the back. Its happened too often to me, I’m such a sucker. At least he said what he had to say to the peoples faces and didn’t get underhanded and act like the lying scum Eric did. What rock did they find him under?

The %!@#$’s vote and the penalty vote cancel each other out so Zach breaks the tie and home goes Ick. The %!@#$ has a complete breakdown, chases after Zach with a kitchen knife, get’s disarmed and summarily ejected by BB. Zach and Jamecka to the final two – woo hoo!

Quite a few people seem to think that D&D’s relationship is forever changed by being in the house. I personally seriously doubt it. I’m sure it will be better for a while, but neither one is mature enough to maintain any kind of meaningful relationship. Just look at how fast Danielle ditched her boyfriend for Nick and how quick they both are to jump on each other for the slightest little thing. Repairing a damaged relationship takes time, patience and understanding, something that neither one of them have much of. They did play a fantastic game together though.
Zack’s HOH speech was the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. If he REALLY came to play the game he would have used the POV during the live show to get one of the Donato’s out. Such BS. Pansy!!!

Reading the recaps of live feeds a few minutes ago and they are saying that Dick just slipped outside for a quick smoke (when they are supposed to be on lockdown) while the others are sleeping…giving him a probable chance to see what the POV set-up looks like. It seems like he gets away with so much. In years past when they had two HOH’s back to back the person who was 1st and had the “shorter” reign didn’t get a HOH basket of goodies that I recall. I think he whined enough and they bowed down and gave him one too. I know I am feeling petty about it all…he just irks the hell out of me.
I just don’t feel very excited about BB now in these final days. I think all of them were stupid to not bust up the Donatos in the beginning. Hell, if anyone had their father in there with them…of course they’d bust their ass for their kid to get ahead. That is understandable so I don’t understand why they didn’t get that? I don’t buy it that they have not really spoken to each other in two years either.
Another thing I don’t understand. Why do Dick and Dani constantly trash talk Jen? Geez…get over it! She’s been gone for a while now.

Well looks like Jameka will be going off to sequester leaving Zach, Dick and Dani to fight it out for final two. I am stilling pulling for Zach and I do think that if it is endurance Zach will make it to final two also don’t count the boy out on Q&A Zach is way smarter than the HG have give him credit for . I mean hey he made it to F3 so wheather it stratgey or dumb luck he made it and like I said before I think he is just as derserving as Dick or Dani.
Now how will the votes play out … that is a hard one . At this point we don’t know if the HG are in sequester together or alone . If they are together and Eric as been working his magic … Dick and Dani both may be out of the big $$ .
No one in sequester really likes either one of the D’s so the lesser of the two evils would be Dani … so Dick and Dani …. Dani wins ..
Zach and Dani …. Dani wins
Zach and Dick … toss up … based on game play could be Dick …
AP will also play a role in who wins grand prize … that I still say will be based on who america likes the best . Game play will not be considered in this vote.

If you think that Danielle would be happy with anything less than a win, you’re dead wrong. A split of the money will not do it for her. She’s a conniving bitch who wants to be remembered as the winner of BB8. You speak of whiners on the jury???? All she has done was whine “I hate these people. . . .” “It would really suck to make it this far and not win.” etc. She’s the biggest whiner of them all and her voice and manner of speaking really grates on my nerves. How easily she has forgotten that, had Eric and Jess not HONORED their agreement with D & D, and D & D not DISHONORED their end of the bargain, D & D would be in the sequester house and Eric and Jess would be final 4. If you say that’s what makes them better players . . . well, I guess our definitions of “better players” are somewhat different.
I agree that Jameka has no business in the finals and I’m very happy she is going home. If she thinks she’s has been a good example of Christians, she needs to go home and “repent.”
Zach is a mental nut. He thinks he’s far better than what he is. If he were this capable all along, then he should have been getting into the game long before now and he could have changed the makeup of the final 4. When he didn’t strike some sort of deal with Eric before evicting him, he sealed his fate.
It really saddens me that the game as come down to the two Donatos. The two worst pieces of human flesh to ever win this game are going to the finals. I’d almost say they deserve to be there since the other HOH’s were unable to split them up. You NEVER let couples stay together. That’s why they say, “There is strength in numbers,” people!
Dick, dick, what can I say about Dick? He’s a dick! He makes me nauseated just to watch him gloat over his position – not to mention his horrendous personal habits. I’m sure his mother is very proud of him – NOT! If you think he’s going to step aside and let Dani win this thing, though, you’re sadly mistaken. He’s already spending the money. He has an ego to match his daughter. He wants to be the winner of BB8, too.
What would be interesting is to see Zach knock one of them out. If anyone gets knocked out, I hope it’s Dani. Let her go to the sequester house and whine. I’m sick of hearing it!

9/11 affected so many lives I don’t think that I will ever be able to erase the images we saw that day from my mind. I am one of the many people that was affected by it personally my family is still dealing from the loss. At some point today if you have a person in your life that you have been meaning to call … don’t wait call them … let them know you are thinking of them … hold your children a little closer … call your parents … and say thank you. .. tell your spouse you love them … because you just never know.

Thank you Donna K. Our guys here in Tampa have so many wonderful experiences. The outpouring from the local community is amazing. More often then not, when we go to lunch, the guys in uniform do not have to pay for their lunches. Often someone walks up (without prompting) and buys it for them. I always get a little worked up, because it warms my heart. The last time I was at hooters with my co-workers, an older gentleman walked from table to table shaking everyones hand and thanking them.

I spend my early adult years doing things that made having a family tough. I have been to 30 countries and 40 states including 10 in Eastern Europe. Therefore I had kids late in life.
I have a 5 year old little girl and 7 year old twin girls. Kindergarten and First grade.
My girls are all little adrenaline junkies like me so they already love roller coasters. The twins are now tall enough to ride Gwazi (the wooden coaster at Busch) so they are bugging me to take them on it. I told them maybe after school this week…

Donna Kjj, in the past the final HoH was 3 parts. ALL played in part one, then the winner from part one sat out part two, and then played the winner of part two in part three. SO it IS possible that part three could be D & D playing each other while Zach sits there and starts packing. But like I said, I don’t know for sure that they will do the final HoH like that, and you can’t count out Zach winning.

GM everyone. I am late jumping in here this morning.
First of all, I am part of the DNP alliance and proud of it!!!!!
2nd of all….worked for 23 years but am currently a stay at home mom. Just getting a divorce, so I am sure before long I will be going back to work, LOL. My mom has a lot of health problems so I help her a lot too. Anyhoo, umemployed officially, but not really……………………
3rd Thank you all again for the your service to this country. My nephew is in Germany and they just had their first baby. He is going back for his 2nd time to Iraq after Christmas. No one will ever forget this day 6 years ago. Never, ever, ever!
4th. Since this is a BB Blog, my comment about that is…….I just want it to hurry up and get on with it already!!!! I am going to miss some of it due to a really irritating thing like parental responsibility, but I am sure ya’ll will tell me what I missed.

Aww thanks Donna Rose 🙂 I am 41 and having an nervous breakdown!!! I always thought it was really important that I was home for my children when they were going through middle school and high school. I know that is backward. I worked when they were little and that really is the hardest job in the world to stay at home with little ones. I help my mom during the day and am there for my children when they get home from school and for all of their activities and homework and studying. Anyway, nuff about that! We all have such hard jobs. Everyone has such high expectations and we put so much stress on ourselves. This is a very over-stimulated world these days, but I love it!!!

As to stay at home moms being the most important job in America, that depends on the person. My (STB) ex was a lousy house wife…heheheh (No that is not why we are divorcing…We are great friends). The house was always trashed, dinner was never ready…What is am old school conservative supposed to think about that!!! LOL David, I heard that too. As far as it being the most important job, you are right, some of us aren’t that great at it. I had a really hard time when I first started staying home with all of the time I had and not feeling worthwhile anymore. I, of course, am over that! I do keep my house clean and my kids and I eat at 5:30 everynight. Unfortunately, I have growing boys so by 8:30, they are hungry again, LOL!!!!!!!!
Sometimes I want to go back to work so badly and other times, I just can’t stand the idea!!!

Mornin’, Afternoon’ to ALL!
Live in Central Alabama…not far from Talladega.
I’m 55 yrs. … still get carded at times for cigs…ONLY because I’m only 5’1, petite and almost never wear make-up…usually in jeans/Tshirt, ball cap. Am told a lot that I look like Diane Keaton. When I dyed my hair blonde… and it was short…was told I looked like a mini Princess Di. I do have her facial features so can understand where that comes from. Have red hair/green eyes and the temperment of a slightly modified Dani.
Am happily divorced. Two sons. We’re all computer geeks now. I’ve been in the Military – mainly NATO in Germany, was a SWAT negotiator, Occuptational Therapist…recently a care-giver till the death of my parents. Kept them at home till their deaths. Now, I trade Commodities…self directed Trader. Trade online.
Nuff about me..
I can’t wait till tonight!!!! Just wish I knew what the ‘Unexpected’ is. I like to know things beforehand. Have all the facts/situations… all the ‘knowns’ as much as possible. Must be an occupational hazard.

The blog is nice because everyone is in one place. The forum can be nice because you can have multiple topics going at once. For a show like Big Brother it would be nice to have a live feed area where, if desired, people could keep us updated about what is going on in the house as well as some general discussion areas.
Both formats will do well as long as you keep it free flowing like this. Most of the other forum’s / blogs are bogged down with posting rules. I spend most of my effort here, melting your server.

FYI I live in central Alberta Canada. Retired to the country after leaving the navy three years ago. Prior to my second career in the navy I did addictions treatment for male offenders in penitentiaries and community based facilities. Now I just play with my two little miniature horses. EET, I have no problem with that but the change must go through the process.
First the Name Change Request must go to the “Alliance Name Change Working Group”. It must be considered for not less then 2 weeks and then pass with a two thirds vote. Then is gets released to the “Alliance Nomenclature Variance Committee” for a 3 week review. They have the option to accept the change as is, or make a modification and push it back to the ANCWG for another 2 week review. Once the name change passes the ANVC it must go to the “Alliance Oversight Committee” where they evaluate the cost of replacing all alliance letterhead, signage, etc. Once the AOC signs off, it goes for final review with the “Alliance Legal Review Boardâ€. The ALRB has to ensure that there is no copyright or trademark infringement issues with the new name. At this point all that is needed is a final approval by Big-Brother-Blogger.
Of course at any point the Name Change Request can be sent back to the beginning.
If you still wish to change the name, just fill out the 34 page Alliance Name Change Request and supporting documentation and submit for review.

Well guys…..I’m a 43 year old redhead. Work for the government in law enforcement. I am divorced with a 17 year old son (almost 18). How do you figure Danielle would easily win 7-0 over Zach? OMG! Big Brother has been canned. They just announced this will be their final season. I guess too many hands in the cookie jar this year. To tell you the truth, I think the show ran its course. I liked the show better when it was just a bunch of rats in a cage without anyone trying to influence the outcome. I say GOODBYE BIG BROTHER. This was the worse season by far. I just returned from flying the final banner over the BB house. There’s a huge display in the back yard, almost looks like tresses from a stage show or something. As a child, I was always taught that if you do something wrong you should pray to God and ask for forgiveness. I think that is the golden rule. When I was about nine years old, I wanted this bike. It was beautiful but I didn’t have the money to buy it. After a long time of trying to save up for the bike, I found that Iwould never be able to afford it. I remember seeing somewhere (probably showtime) that Dick said he’d been waiting for 3 years for this. I’m thinking he’s been applying the last 3 seasons to get on BB (not 7 seasons).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------And, I also believe the houseguests have to be over 18 to be on the show. So, Daniele couldn’t have been applying for the show for very long. 3 years sounds about right.
I know someone who has applied for Survivor 5 times. Still hasn’t made it on the show. Although I think he’d be a good candidate.

JOHN – I hope you are right because that’s pretty much how I see it, except I see them voting for Dick in first place over Dani, either way, THEY WIN and I hope they do. That jury house will vote for ABD Anyone But a Donato! If either of them end up in the final two with Zach, Zach wins the 500k. The jury house is full of immature, childish, overly sensitive whiney-butts whose little hurt feelings will get in the way of a vote for who played the best GAME. I’ve said that before, and I still believe it. It’s awful seeing any of them again. They all got outplayed by Dick & Dani and hopefully Zach will, too. GO D&D!!! =^^=

Ok….I am really not liking BB8….for a while now! I was just hoping….beyond that now….that Dick would get kicked off way before now…..but obviously ratings are more important that morality. ED is a true evil mean and abusive person. I can’t believe that CBS would allow America to fully be involved with awarding this sort of behavior. I know it is my option to watch or not….chosing not to from here on….. but what about our children who are watching and learning that verbally abusing and degrading others is acceptable. For any computer geeks out there who really want to know what happened…
My website was responsible for 25% of the server it is hosted on resources being used. They shut it down because of that.
So basically….too many people jumping online after the show aired….made my site be closed down.

If Zach makes it to the final 2 Zach wins. EVERYONE else HATES Dick. Zach sensibly tried to get Jessica & Co. to evict Evil instead of AmB(OOHOOHOO)her. Jessica in her gut knew that would be the smartest move but she let dumbass Eric sway her to evict Amber. That was the dumbest decision in BB history next to all of Jameka’s dumb decisions (no HOH competitions times 5, saving Jenijerk…)

I was disappointed with Jameka’s performance but I think Zach was right to level the playing field. He was in the final 3 regardless. Dick’s reaction to Dani winning the POV was absolutely sickening..I would have knocked him out cold. Zach is a nerd but he handles being insulted very well.

I don’t read reviews. But I see Zach winning it if he makes Final Two. The Jury has already stated that they “ate” the Donatos. Dick will never win unless of course someone drugs the jury. That’s the only way. Danielle, I voted out my boyfriend; I can’t make up my mind they tricked me boo hoo…is simply Amber without religion with skills. Am I the only one watching the show.
As far as floaters are concerned. That’s really stupid. The purpose of the game is to stay in the house. Most reality shows have people who win who are quasi floaters. Remember when Sarah the nurse won? Floater! Will? Floated and manipulated by being nice to people’s faces. A ton of floaters have won even on Survivor! It’s just that people wo win competitions are remembered more. I’ve watched this show since it began.
