Hi, y’all!
So, tonight was the conclusion of the Celebrity Big Brother premiere. We not only got our first Head of Household but we also got our first two alliances and our first three nominees!
That’s right! Three nominees!
To the surprise of probably no one, Ryan Lochte defeated Jonathan Bennett to become the 1st Head of Household. (They had to swing around and knock blocks off of two billboards. There really wasn’t much doubt that Ryan would win, though Jonathan put up a good effort.) Since Jonathan lost, that meant he became the first nominee. However, Julie Chen Moonves then popped up to explain that, even though Jonathan was now on the block, Ryan would still be nominating two people to join him.
That was good news for Jonathan. Even better news for Jonathan is that he managed to form an alliance with Ryan, Lolo, and Natalie. It’s an athlete’s alliance and they seem to be pretty strong. (Originally, Jonathan wanted to do a Power Alliance of Seven but it turned out that Joey doesn’t “do alliances” So, apparently, Jonathan decided to just go with four.) Meanwhile, The Mooch, Tom, and Kato formed an alliance of three, a self-described nerd’s alliance. As the Mooch explained it, they would just wait “in the back” and watch while everyone else played themselves out of the game.
That’s not a bad strategy but it hit an immediate snag. Taking Jonathan’s advice, Ryan nominated Tom and the Mooch for eviction. So, will this be the end of the Nerd’s Alliance or will Jonathan totally alienate everyone in the House by playing too hard? We’ll find out this week!
Big Brother After Dark starts tonight on PopTV and the live feeds should be coming on around the same time. Tomorrow, on the CBS show, we’ll get to see the very first veto comp of the 2nd season of Celebrity Big Brother!

I don’t watch Celebrity BB, only the summer version, but I do get your emails for it all. However, I don’t recall from seasons past if it was there, but, in this day and age of so much weird stuff (and people), do you think it’s wise to post your actual home address on your emails? If it weren’t that I lived in Minneapolis and worked near the Minnetonka area for many years, I might not have noticed.

After watching the first BBAD all I can say is… I miss Ross and Marissa!!!! Watching these people so far is like watching paint dry. Or like watching the last few days of BB when no one is speaking toeach other. CRICKETS! lol I’m actually glad now that Tamar is there or there wouldn’t be any drama.

Smh And of watching Ryan swim and work out. And listening to Joey drone on and on! They seemed fine on the show but just in the house…. YAWN! !
However…. I just heard Lolo and Nathalie saying something about the Mooch is gone and that he was a mole?? I thot it was a BB thing but it’s starting sound like he’s gone gone. Maybe he’s just in bed but I wish they had talked about the Mole thing a bit more.
I think the problem
Is most of these people do not know how to play BB. Have probably never seen it. So they don’t really know what to do with themselves.

This is like the season ED walked out the door and we never knew why!! WTH is going on??! I really wanted to see what he’d be like out of Washington too. I’m bummed. Star, I Googled “What happened to Mooch,” and it said he was kicked off of the show because he was revealing information about the Whitehouse! He was called to the Diary Room and never came back! 😕

Yeah, but Omarosa did the same thing without getting kicked out so I’m thinking there’s more to it. It could just be the Mooch didn’t like being on the block.

Thank you Lisa! Tonight was interesting! I felt it was so weird seeing all of those strangers in the Big Brother house. They all seemed out of place to me! I don’t know why I felt that way, maybe because several of the guests were familiar! That’s why it’s called Celebrity Big Brother! 😕 I guess I’ll get used to it! The Diary Room had the same woman (can’t remember her name) on so many times!!!!!!

Jolee I could not agree more! IMHO this is a very boring cast. I’m not very interested at all. Tamara and Candyee got on my last nerve! If Tom Green tells one more ‘nut’ joke I might throw up. He’s not funny one bit!

The Mooch is currently in Switzerland for the Davos Economic Forum. He attends every year and, according to him, he told the BB producers that he would be attending this year, regardless of the show.

Okay, so here’s what apparently happened. The Mooch left because he wanted to go to Switzerland. Ryan and Jonathan nominated Kandi in his place, which upset the other women in the house. Ryan and Jonathan are basically letting their “power” get to them and they’ve managed to tick off nearly everyone. They had a veto comp and it sounds like they had to play in pairs in again. Kato and Ricky won the power of veto so they each had a separate ceremony. Ricky did not use his veto but Kato is going to use his veto to take Tom off the block. Ryan is going to nominate either Dina or Joey as a replacement, little realizing that everyone in the house is currently talking about blindsiding Jonathan.

Okay, this is insane. Here’s what it sounds like happened. After Ryan nominated the Mooch and Tom, they had a veto comp. Ricky won it. Ricky did not use the veto. Then, the Mooch left and Ryan had to pick a replacement. So, he went with Kandi. And because of that, they had to do second veto comp, which Kato won. And now Kato is going to use the veto on Tom and Ryan is going to nominate either Dina or Joey as a replacement.

I would have liked seeing a bit more of the Mooch. I hope it gets better the few weeks that we have to watch. I agree last season was more exciting. Oh well, we will see.

Veto ceremony results: Tom Green is safe. Joey Lawrence has been nominated. Ryan asked him ahead of time if he was okay with going up as a “pawn.” So, the current nominees for eviction are: Kandi, Jonathan, and Joey.
