Unfortunately, I think Zach will show us what he’s been hiding for the majority of the game, that he can own up when he needs to. Zach and Dani at the final.

But seriously, 7.5 hours!?? It’s amazing Dick doesn’t walk out in some serious medical condition. I mean when youre dealing with this kind of money, CBS should be aware of how far people are willing to go (and how dangerous it could be for the competitors).

I do agree with Mike that subjecting the players to that type of exposure just because they didn’t have a contingency plan for the bunny going off the track is pretty irresponsible.

Even the Navy SEALs, some of the most fit and motivated young men in the world, have a medic present, on the beach, in the sand with them when they are going through their training. These excellently conditioned young men are checked out by this medic on a regular basis, whether they like it or not, even when they are showing no symptoms of anything wrong.

The show would have certainly survived had everybody gone back inside while the brain trust gotten together and come up with something more resembling a big brother competition and not SEAL hell week.

Well Zach and Dick head to head not what I expected but that may work to Zach’s favor. I think it could be a 50/50 on this one guys and Zach may pull yet another HOH. I am hoping for that outcome anyway. If our come back kid Zach does win HOH I do think that Dick will urge him to keep Dani and send him home … but Zach has the best chance of winning the jury votes with Dick. The HG do not LIKE Dick and I don’t think that they respect his game play … JMO …
Dick just went over the top too many times.
Now Dani on the other hand although they may not really like her they probably do respect her game play… that girl is awesome at competitions … even I have to give Dani her due. I hope this has open her eyes somewhat on a personal level with her Dad and they can mend their relationship . You can say a lot of rude crude things about Dick … because he is a nasty … person but you can tell behind all that hair dye , ink and black nail polish … he loves his kids and as shown that he is willing to do anything … even stand in a man made CAT 5 … for them … so what more could you ask for in a father. I don’t like him and I don’t want him to win but I can respect him for that reason.

So that being said my choice to Win is Zach … I can’t predict this one it is too tough to call … wonder what the odds are for Dick to take it all in Vegas???

Alex’s Mom, I agree with you EXCEPT about wanting to be Dani’s mom and Dick’s wife. Won’t go quite that far, but I sure do see that he loves his daughter and I think Dani is just a little young and immature is all, but still her whining does get completely on my nerves. I see the good and the bad in them all.

I am totally shocked it is going to be Zach and Dick in the Final HOH comp. I think if it is not something that is physical then Dani would be the strongest competitor. Did Dani let him win or did Dick fight it out with her? Kind of surprised with that one.

Hey Eileen, the one thing I do want to say about your post is that we do have to remember, (even though it is hard sometimes) that they are closed up in a house with each other for soooooo long with no outside distractions or stimulations and no privacy at all. I do believe she is spoiled but I also think the flaws in their personalities are magnified in these types of situations. But yes, I agree, I would definitely have to send her to room WITH supper!!! LOL

I TOTALLY agree with First Timer and am thankful others are finally seeing Dick’s true intentions. The love he has shown for Dani has brought me to tears at times, only because I can totally relate to the pain of thier relationship. So tonight is the big night, I’m very happy it’s Dick v Zack, will be a lot more interesting with these 2 may the best man win at this point I no longer have a preference. I Zack wins he will show that outcast can make it to, If Dick wins he will show that well………, I dont know what that will prove but, anyway if Dick loses he will have as far as I’m concerned a greater gift his daughter back.

Would like to hear about the 2nd comp. too, anyone? I would like to think Zach will pick Dick, as I would prefer Dick get the money instead of the brat. I believe he will take care of his kids and his parents. I still say Dani will blow it all on herself if she were to get it and we’ll see them on Jerry Springer soon.

Regardless of Dick’s personal insults during the game, I think he will get a lot of support. There may be some animosity still about Zach, but what did he really do to anyone but try to fit in? I just think he was obviously above the intelligence level of most HG and just couldn’t relate, that’s why he sometimes appeared “dumb” because he was trying so hard. I’ve liked him since the start and would love to see him win. I think it will be interesting to see what he’ll do with the money.

I still think Zach will win the 500K regardless of which Donato he is up against. However, I still really want to see D&D in the final 2!!

I think Zach will once again win HoH as he has been keeping track of events way better than Dick. Then Zach will eliminate Daniele leaving him against Dick in the final 2. Everyone will vote for Zach except for Eric because America will tell him to vote for Evel Dick. Zach will be the winner of Big Brother 8.

Not in the long run, where it really matters? Well maybe for Dick, but once Dani gets out in the real world, it will be all for none! 1. She is still too young and self-centered. 2. She will forget about dear ole dad, once shes in EuroDisney w/ Nick! 3. She and Dick need some kind of family counseling to fix “deep” issues. NOW I’M DOING THE SAPPY THING! YUK! Hello Vivian, I was just reading for a while to keep out of some coments. I am not sure if I should be hoping for your sons game to be resceduled so I hope you get to watch BB8 and see the game somehow. I think it is smart for cbs to save alittle something for the show but you do not get the same feel from watching in whole or the reactions of the HG after. I was wanting a lot more of the players in the SH ( staged or not). I think the SH guests are way more intertaining. I am torn as I know this is a game but I still do not care for the attitudes of D and D and although I think they kicked ass in the game. I want Zach to win maybe as stated before by someone He is the underdog. Zach was not a bully, crude, abusive, ungrateful and so on. TES, it is a game but I am just not into promoting that kind of behavior in any way, shape or form. I watched the first BB show and they were a bit confussed as to why BB was trying to get them so against each other and consider ( ok, it was just talk) but considering all walking out the door. I watched, I liked the nice guys and begame the game was new it was interesting and intertaining. Just my thoughts!

SherreLu, If a lot of it is out right lies (it is after all a reality show). Busting their manipulation is about as real as it gets and extremly interesting to me. So although I can choose to watch or not watch BB I am interested in the reality of it all. I DO NOT however want, like or aprove of false statements ( aside from some posts with great senses of humor). I think posters should becare not to say things as fact when it is asumed, guessing, taken out of context, or not able to be proved which is why I asked if it was a fact. Make no mistake I am a fan of the show and I have watched every season from the first to now but I am interested in what is real and what is not. Even though it is a game I am invested in it to a certain point just like great movies or TV shows that I enjoy and connect with.

This has been the worst Season in BB history. I dont think anyone really played a good game compared to previous season players. Vegasgirl … I know and you probably do as well that there is a certain amount of manipulation in ALL reality TV but … to me that part does not matter if I like it I watch it and if I don’t I change the channel … simple as that . There are always these people who want too tear these shows apart and expose them to be fake … but really the people who watch them for the most part don’t care … so what is the point really .

No offense intended, but I sometimes think there are some on this board too young to understand the implication of what Big Brother really means. The producers have TOTAL control over this show. They’re supposed to. It’s their show, it’s their game and they can manipulate it how they see fit. This show is one of my all time guilty pleasures. GO D&D!!!

David let’s put this to rest once and for all. Somewhere along the way SOMEONE laid out an interpretation of my posts as racist, when INSTEAD my posts were referring to an area that is SOAKED in anger and reverse-RACISM. I owned a business as a minority in a 90% black area, THINKING that my love for people would actually make a difference. Yeah pretty stupid, huh??? I brought all of my christian and moral ethics into my business and respected every single client that walked in my door and welcomed them with opened arms. By week 2 I had already had several threats on my life – telling me to get out of THEIR neighborhood, and to stay away from THEIR men!!! I had a fitness faciity. At the same time some of my best friends on the police force (all black, by the way), would drive by to watch my facility as I would have to be there ALONE many evenings. At this same time my boys were HIGH level athletes and would have friends over almost daily – MOST black kids who thought of me as MOM! After ten years of having my life threatened, being stalked by a guy on the SWAT team in P.G. County (WHERE my business was), being told I wasn’t wanted – I COMPLETELY burned out emotionally and physically ( the catalyst being my youngest son almost being killed in an auto accident – I hit MY proverbial WALL)!!!. BUT, by the same token, by the end of ten years, I had accomplished much in that I helped MANY poor kids realize their success by coming to me and getting a FREE membership, along with MY personal training program that would assist almost ALL of them to realizing their dreams – that being getting opportunities to get into Division one colleges and directly talking to the coaches of those college via my contacts (I had MANY coaches who would have done anything for my kids in my facility – because I had reached a place of respect and had a reputation of helping the poor kids in my community), many of them went into the Olympics and many ALSO, with my help and the help of my wonderful trainers (all by two being black), got off of drugs and went on to become decent productive citizens. I could go on – probably write a novel – but I won’t. I want all of you to know that however someone got the idea that I’m a member of the KKK or that I’m a racist – you couldn’t be farther from the truth!!

That being said – there is such an element of HATE, ANGER and MILITARIST mentality in P.G. County that being WHITE is the worst thing you could be – it’s also the most dangerous thing you could be!!!! I know this personally – I tried to change it in MY SMALLL way – but had to sell my business or end up in the hospital. It was the best decision of my life, AND owning my business was also the BEST experience of my life on SO many levels and it’s SO rewarding to hear from some of those kids who still call me MOM!! I’ll never regret it.

SO, I just want those of you referring to me as a racist – to just get a picture of someone who TRULY and WHOLE-HEARTEDLY tried to make a difference – against ALL odds!!

Really getting sick of all the comments sympathizing with Dick. I also agree with First Timer that the rift between D and D has been repaired over the course of the show, and that’s kind of nice to see between a father and daughter.

However…

Dick is basically a mean-spirited bully who is out for himself (OK, and maybe Danielle). His “strategy” of making vicious personal attacks on people’s religion (Jameka), sexual preference (Dustin), past (Amber), personalities (Jen) are hurtful, sometines violent, disgusting and way below the belt. I really don’t understand how anyone can want him to win. Don’t we all know people like this who have no regard for others and justify (or rationalize) their behavior with “the end justifies the means”? Should this kind of behavior be rewarded?

I have been a big fan of this show since Season 1, but this season has really turned me off. I know I’m in the minority on this.

Does anyone wonder why Danielle and Dick haven’t spoken for two years? When she walked away from him during one of their arguments, he accused her of “always walking away.” Her response was, “There are reasons!” Although we probably will never know them, you have to wonder about a (loving?) father who apparently made no attempt to to communicate with his (then) 19-year-old daughter for two years, and then chooses to do so in front of a national TV audience.

I can’t stand bonehead Zach (or any of the other HG’s this season, except maybe Jessica), but I hope he wins.

RonJJ, you could not be more wrong. There are many people on this blog that dislike D&D that do not get teasted or insulted. The reason is the way they present their arguments.
I find it hypocritical for someone to flame ED for the way he flames others. It seems so many claim to dislike his tactics and yet use the very same tactics themselves.
The other thing that bothers me is when I spend the time to post a thoughful response and it gets ignored completely and the person I responded to just leeps making the same assertions without responding back to my points.
The last thing that bothers me is complete blind hatred. When someone refuses to see something that conflicts with their beliefs such as the posts from your two little brothers yesterday about how Dani was mad at her father for giving up. Some of you see whatever you want to see and ignore all else.

Don’t stoop to their level. They enjoy tearing people apart that they don’t agree with. Keep comments to players on the show. They are what the blog was supposed to be about. They are immages of Dick and know how to throw the verbal insults at others. When the people you are trying to defend, Dick and Daniele, are so far beyond being defended because of their actions and personnas, then they resort to attacking others here. You may have waited along time but we save the best for last right? Guess what your sentiments had me crying (REALLY). I don’t have a father anymore I am a (just ) 37 year old woman and haven’t had him in over 11 years but still think about him EVERYDAY. So I know it’s BB and I know it’s a tv show but your post hit me right on point(in my heart)
. I was feeling those same exact emotions that you wrote. I think that Dani and ED have been able with baby steps grow. So many times I wanted to reach through the screen and grab Dani and tell her DON’T HOLD ON TO THAT HATE BEFORE ITS TO LATE..

You only get one set of parents and to a lil girl one “daddy”. NO MATTER the things he may have done we have heard him tell her ” I never left you /abandoned you. We as viewers don’t know what happened with them, but by watching Dani stamp her feet (not literally but you know what I mean) and get sooooooooo frustrated you can still see the lil girl in her. The other night as Dick was on the stump on one hand screaming such horrible things to Zach true but graphic you would see him look over at his little girl shaking and hold tight he knew his 44 year old body wasn’t going to withstand it but thought that intimadation would help. Those glimpses I caught as you described First Timer where enough for me to know how much he loves his lil girl and any parent or daughter would know that too. I know dick is hated I have always been a fan. I rather see the knife coming if you know what I mean. He is what he says. Point blank love him or hate him. He is Evil Dick but that night I seen Daddy trying so hard for his lil girl. As far as the ED haters go this is the way I feel.
I have been watching this game since Eddie won the first show. Last season the worst man if u can even call him that was on there.(poser wanna be a kid again) He did not yell or scream in people (women’s) faces or call them out. What he did was make a woman believe he truly loved her or at the least had feelings for her strong enough to sleep with her. Then him and his buddy would go to the DR for the “chilltown show” where they would call her a skank a ho you name it. High five and laugh their a**es off at her. To me a woman that has to be the worst hurt any words could ever cause. Especially after her seeing it all on live TV after the show. Mike Boogie was 1 billion times more of a scumbag then ED could ever be!!!!!

As far as Zach goes the guy reminds me of a serial killer the laughing and pointing he was doing was CRRRAAAZZYY he looked like the guy Dexter on showtimes show Dexter.. Anyway ED probably will not get the respect he deserves for a well played game. Unforunetly our PC culture would rather see whispering and backstabbing and sexually using woman then someone yelling truths in my opinion.

I laughed at her comment but it’s completely different in real life. It’s not a funny matter, I myself kicked anybody’s ass who dared called my best friend fat in high school.

Let us get one thing straight…………I have nothing against fat kids. I was one myself. My comment was for who Zach is today. Like a psycho………lying in wait…….just hoping for a chance to get his revenge on someone. That’s the vibe I have gotten from him from day one. Just the way he watches people. So puhleeeez, we all have our opinions. I’d appreciate you letting me have mine without attacking me. (and no = nothing anyone says will stop me from having or sharing my opinion). What I am saying is ED was always ED he wasn’t a chameleon which so many of us have gotten used to being. And point blank I think it sucks! CHAMELEONS NO ONE IS TRUE TO THEMSELVES ANYMORE. They speak to please those around them in real life situations.

The truth hurts and mostly everything dick said was true. He deserves his position where he is. I don’t know if you are an avid watcher but scroll up to my comments about last years winner and you may rethink Evil is not so evil afterall.

Let me pose a 2 questions to all of the ED haters.

1. If you knew someone was lieing right to someone else’s face and you were present would you say something or would you keep quiet?

2. If you watched a person turn personality wise from one way to another right in front of your eyes would you say something to that person? (Like WTF are you doing you were just acting this way and now you are acting that way????)

Most of your answers will probably be yes to # 1 to keep the peace and not get involved…
and no to # 2 because a majority of people are afraid of confrontation even if they are right. (except when people are on computers and can’t be seen and can remain anonoymous)

We are a nation who loves people who sweep things under the carpet, whisper behind close doors, etc. We don’t know what to do when confronted by our own personality a mirror if you will being held up to us and making us see how we really act. People reinvent themselves over and over and when called out on it they are “bullied” I’m sorry I’m not buying what you all (ed haters) are trying to sell.

The man confronted people about themselves asked them questions about there beliefs and only made fun of that when backed into a corner (jam and amber’s power trip in the kitchen) and was at that point he was doing it for his what did you call her narcissistic daughter. BTW Dani is hardly a narcissist if anything you could see she was insecure by the constant splitting hairs and bad body image comments she made of herself. Jen would be your narcissist.

Well anyway Im glad you enjoyed BB anyway every season there is someone to love and someone to hate. Thats what keeps us coming back for more
