I have uninstalled the DISQUS comment system. I really liked it since people could log in with their facebook and twitter accounts. However, not many were using that feature.
I have installed an email system for comments only. You will see a check box next to where you submit your comments. I have not tested this but from what it looks like it should work. This is to be known as “Aggie’s emails” from here on since she really wanted a comment email function. It is optional but if you like to follow comments on a per post basis….this is for YOU.
This blog is different than the Survivor Blog. On that blog I required people to log in. Here you do not have to register or log in. All you need to do when you comment is give your name and email.
To have an avatar you need to setup an avatar over at gravatar.com to associate with your email. Once you have a picture connected with your email at gravatar.com then you can use that same email here and then that picture will show up.
The “tech support” comment was that I would rather people just email me instead of complain about issues in the comment section. I promise to do what I can to make this blog rock (as I always have) but I think it looks bad when people complain and vent about stuff in the comment section. I enjoy email and like to think I am not that scary of a guy. So email me at bbblogger@big-brother-blog.com and I will do what I can to fix any issues.
So this post is NOT getting emailed out to everyone. It is just here to have people test and comment up.

Not that you need to look now…… but if you ever want to look for a new avatar… just google what you are looking for with the word “images” after it. ….. for example…. “Starry Eyed Images” 😆
That should give you a lot of choices…… just right click on the pic and save it to your computer…. then upload it at gravatar.

I just heard that Janelle, from BB6&7, has gotten married! Also, that she has agreed to be a *part* of the BB12 experience! I don’t know if tht means she will be a HG or maybe be on House Calls or behind the scenes. I personally hope she isn’t going to be an HG yet again! Twice was enough. I am not a fan of the repeat performers . There aren’t enough people clamoring to be on BB that they can’t find a dozen NEW people!!?
Another vague tidbit is that there is another *very* popular, very recent BB alum who may be participating as well. That’s it. That’s all I got. Just enough to whet our appetites anyway, I guess!

Next, the big news for this season’s live feeds exclusive will be that one of my personal favorites, Janelle from BB6 and All-Stars, will be appearing for weekly Big Brother 12 events which can only be found on the live feeds. This won’t be available on CBS so if you want to see the Queen of the PoV you’re going to have to sign up. Luckily, Chelsia from BB9, Queen of the Easter Eggs, will be back with her own weekly Express Lunch show also only on the feeds.

Well, I am glad that they have both gotten gigs out of their past 15 mins of fame but that it won’t be as HGs. The best part of watching BB is getting to know the personalities of all the NEW HGS.

Here’s another piece of info that doesn’t tell us much! 🙄 😆
The executive producer of Big Brother, Allison Grodner, talks about the 12th season of Big Brother which is set to air July 8th, 2010!
The main highlights from her audio interview are that the number of house guests will likely remain the same as previous years (12 to 14), the house guests will be pushed to their limits with more difficult challenges than before, this season the game will be more interesting for the fans and more challenging for the house guests by having different challenges than previous years.
The theme of Big Brother 12 will be that of summer camp a “Beach Theme”. Allison addressed the rumor that next season could be the last season. Allison said that considering the success that the show experienced last season, this season is expected to have the same again and as such there is no intention of canceling Big Brother. Allison states that she embraces the Big Brother fans, so much so that she regularly surfs the different Big Brother web sites to verify information and to stay connected with fan opinions.
“Expect the Unexpected” is Big Brothers motto and Allison warns Big Brother fans that this seasons houseguests will have different backgrounds and personalities than we have ever seen before.
