So the word on the street is that Big Brother 9 is starting in late January or February 2008. You can all thank the PERFECT STORM of things for this change.
1. The writers strike. The longer this baby goes, the more reality TV (and Big Brother) we will get.
2. The success of Big Brother 8. Like it or not, it was huge for CBS and ratings. CBS wants to get it back on the air as well. Love him or hate him…you can thank BB8 winner Dick since he made BB8 what to watch last summer!
3. The writes strike. I think this is the main reason it is coming back early so I figured I would list it again! 🙂
I heard a rumor about this and read in Entertainment Weekly that they are doing this along with the promotional commercials for Big Brother 9 and applications during survivor. Feeling very VERY excited about getting an extra dose of Big Brother going on.

OMG!!! This is cool! Does anyone think that CBS will buy a disabled guy(me) playing the game with his daughter? You know I would mostly handle the mental end of things, while my gorgeous daughter ( luckily she gets her looks from her Mom,lol) would handle most of the physical stuff. First of all, Julie Chen IS back. Here is information I’ve found for you guys, enjoy!
New information on the Big Brother 9 House: Source
*The house is extremely colourful.
*The living room and kitchen are decorated like a winter cabin- logs and stones,—to match the winter season.
* White birch mural paper up in the Diary Room!
*The living room sports a circular couch for the bb9 Houseguests.
*The third level is no longer the log wallpaper and is bookshelf wallpaper.
*The HoH room has a surfer theme.
*The other bedrooms have low walls which divide up a little bit of individual space for the big brother houseguests.
*One room has a nautical them!
*The backyard now sports a firepit to keep the HG warm on the frosty winter nights.
*The pool is also heated now.
Diary room is weird looking. It won’t have the crunchy paper. The hamsters go in next Friday. They’re already in sequester… ” becuase julie chen has begun filming entertainment tonigth segments.. and will reveal a secret sooner than expected”.
If both BB’s do well, we’ll get 2 bbs next year as well. 6 women 6 men. Plus 2 more women and 2 more men… who will be at a different location (Like uk bb) and have different rules. (!)
Evel Dick will have a small role “in the way that he will only be doing promo commercials for showtime.. nothing else. ( nothing like janelle visitn the bb89 house )”
