I just added this to the comments but had to get this to a post before I hit the sack.
Right now, there are as many as three significant rumors buzzing cyberspace regarding the Big Brother house. Surely there are rumors daily, but given that we all expect another twist of some sort and that this twist would have to come soon, I wanted to make sure the big-brother-blog.com community was aware of these.
First rumor: Eric’s long-distance girlfriend? It’s Carol. Eric doesn’t know it (he has never met this other woman). But the producers know it, and that’s why they cast her and Jessica. They plan to reintroduce Carol Journey to the house in some fashion soon. This comes from an ex-CBS employee posting on another site. Their detail was pretty darned good, and likely so was their imagination.
However, how great would that be? I mean, I don’t wish Eric or Jessica anything but the best, but we’re collectively in this together for the great television, the drama, etc. What better drama could we have than this? Please, please, please let this be true.
Second rumor: Dick doesn’t have just one daughter in the house. He has two. And it’s Jen.
The rumor spreader on this one says that Jen knows Dick is her biological father and that the main reason she moved her mom’s photos out of the way when she won HoH is that she didn’t want Dick to recognize her. Word is that Jen’s mother is so distraught over Dick’s behavior toward Jen that she has literally begged CBS not to reveal this.
Third rumor: Jen knows all about America’s Player and has for weeks.
This stems from a diary room discovery in which Jen spotted the card producers leave for Eric every few days. Big Brother producers scrambled to offer an explanation, and this is why she refers to him as “Mr. America.” The rumor suggests that Jen doesn’t know the specifics of what America’s Player does just that he’s part of the twist.
Hey, don’t blame me if they’re wrong … but, what do you think? Possible? Are you hoping for one of these (particularly the first two) to be true?
I still say we’re in for a surprise before this season is done.
Is that who Jen was talking about when she turned around upon departing the room – to Amber – about telling Jess? Because Amber TOLD Jess, when confronted, that, YES, Eric has a girlfriend and her name is Carol??? WOW!!!! This would be GREAT!!!
And the Jen thing – OMG how much damage can these people do to young women – I really think it’s time to back off of this situation and just let it wind itself down – we’re talking about scars that will NEVER heal here – and maybe even destroying people’s lives – is that what we really want to watch? I know I don’t.

I an not sure about Carol being the long distance girlfriend. It is possible, but, if they had their relationship via the Internet or email, did they not ever send each other pictures? If so, then Eric knew Carol on Week 1. It he did, he has covered it up quite well. He is a deceitful person on many levels, so it is possible. I guess we will have to wait and see about the other rumors.
Watching the Showtime live feed tonight was difficult. For the first two hours Eric did not shut his mouth for 98 percent of the time. We had to shut it off. He is very foolish talking about not using the veto this week. His giant ego is taking over his game playing skills. If he doesn’t try to get either of the Donatos off this week, you can count on one of them winning HOH next week and putting him on the block. I can’t wait to see Eric’s face when he is sent home.

I remember Jen calling Eric Mr. America and thought it was kind of strange. I hope that CBS would not be playing a game with someones life – if Jen was Dick’s daughter – this would not be the place for her or Daniele to find that out – that could indeed cause scars that might never heal. Jenna, I agree with you. But, as I have stated here many times and many have disagreed, CBS wants ratings. If they allowed Dick to abuse people verbally and physically, what makes you think they would not stoop to this new twist if it were true?
Let us hope that these are just rumors, because once exposed, they could be life changing for some of the players and I am not sure television is the place for it. There has to be a line drawn between reality and entertainment. Entertainment at the expense of people’s lives in wrong.

Of those rumors, the only one that sounds likely to be true is the one about Jen finding the AP card in the DR.
On some BB8 message board (I can’t remember which one) a poster put up a couple pictures of Eric with his girlfriend Cheryl. She was a petite pretty girl with dark hair. I suppose she could have just been his best girl friend. I didn’t know Eric had a girlfriend he has never met. Has he actually talked about not ever meeting her in person?

so this is how rumors get started….the thing to send this show truly into jerry springer stratosphere would be the ultimate twist…that nick is dick’s son who was given up for adoption by his mother. so that neither dick or nick know the truth! (does anyone remember that old book “flowers in the attic” by v.c. andrews?) or that dick is the father of amber’s daughter and they were both so stoned that don’t even remember they met each other before…let alone slept together! as far as the whole eric/jessica/carol scenario. i just don’t buy it. why would a girl as cute as carol have anything to do w/eric? i still can’t believe jess is letting him kiss on her….i hope it’s just stategy on her part. i think if jen had found out about eric being “america’s player” she would have spilled the beans on her way out the door on eviction night. after all…she repeatedly said she wasn’t doing this for the money…and she’s not going to get any more air time…i definately think she would have told jessica…to screw w/jessica’s head and to pay eric back. after all, if jessica (or anyone else) found out that he is making money behind the scenes and screwing w/everyone’s game he would be the next person evicted. no ifs and or buts.

I’m sorry, but a girlfriend you havent met is not your real girlfriend. It does not make you off limits to other people, and it would be stupid if anyone thought so.
As for Jen being Dick’s daughter, I am suprised that no one has mentioned at how upset Dick would be at himself. People on this board like to forget that even though Dick hasn’t been the greatest dad, he still is a dad, and still would love his children anyway. Thats why it’s so hard to watch Daniele pretty much refuse to speak to him, even though he wants to take the opportunity to heal. Daniele is silly for not working through it. If Jen is Dick’s daughter too, then I think that Dick will be more upset than anyone, but I don’t think it is true.
As for Jen knowing about AP, well, it’s not that far fetched. It’s easy enough to pick up on something like that…Eric’s flip-flopping, then the fact that BB has had America’s Choice, so I mean, how would it be difficult, even if she figured it on her own???

I don’t think there is a lot of truth to these rumors…. I think it is mostly wishful thinking on some BB fans part… I have heard the one about Jen being Dick’s daughter for weeks …. I don’t really think that Carol would need to have a internet realationship …. She probably does not have a problem getting dates.
I suppose it would be possible that Jen discovered Eric is America’s player … she is a pretty smart cookie … but also she would have said something on the way out the door … the girl was off the chain last week … she would for sure wanted to let that cat out of the bag. Just to cause chaos . I do think something big will take place this week perhaps that double eviction week we have been waiting for.

Did anyone hear Dick’s comment to Eric when they called him to the DR, “They own you, dude.”??? I think the other HG are very suspicious of Eric’s relationship to BB. I would be. Dick said he goes to the DR twice as much as anyone else.
Amber – just because you buy something in your size doesn’t necessarily mean you should. You don’t have a bikini body, hon. That’s a nicely as I can say it. Beyond that, people should stop taking shots at her past drug addiction. She’s in recovery and doing a great job. Of course, it’s had an effect on her mentally. That’s what drugs do. But she’s still a mother who’s overcoming an addiction and she has feelings. Try to be a little more sensitive!
Eric – I don’t think Carol is the girlfriend. Where did someone get his present girlfriend is an “online” relationship? I don’t remember hearing that anywhere. I don’t remember him saying her name was Carol either. I’m not saying it’s impossible. This could be part of the reason why he was throwing the competitions and hasn’t tried to win an HOH. He didn’t want pics up in the room. At this point, if her were to win, it would be just like BB to put up those pics to stir something up between Eric and Jess.
Jess – if you like the boy, then kiss him back. Jump in with both feet. If you don’t like him, tell him. Or maybe you’re the best player of all and he’s just a means to an end? If that’s the case – you’ve got my vote! You’re smooth!
Dani – The wide mouth (does she have like 8 extra teeth or something?), the whining, the temper tantrums, the seeing faults only in others that she, herself, is so full of . . . . she has to go! This week! If she doesn’t go this week, it’s gonna be hell to get her out later.
Dick – No secret he’s the remaining HG I like the least. His personal habits are disgusting. I do give him very high marks for reaching out to Dani, though, and for having her back. . . . and don’t let it fool ya for a minute, if Dani or Dick wins HOH next week, Jess or Eric will go home. They’re no fools and they know they’re going to have to stab them in the back and dishonor their alliance if they have a shot at winning the money. Eric and Jess better do it first. Zack – this dude needs professional help. He’s delusional (thinks he’s masterminding this show – thinks HG like him that really don’t give a rat’s ass about him – keeps saying he can win an HOH or POV – well, duh, you’d better do it soon, dude – time is running out!), a voyeur (sneaks around peeking at everyone) and so bloody lazy it’s not funny. Do you see him cleaning up after meals? No. Cooking? No. Doing house chores? No. He just lets everyone wait on him. Send him home next week. Dani has to go this week.
Jameka – I can’t figure her out. She sat there encouraging Amber in her delusions about modeling, knowing that’s never going to happen. Was that because she’s tired of seeing Amber cry? She wants to keep Amber’s friendship in case she makes it to the final two? You can bet there’s a reason for it and it’s not just pure encouragement. And what she has done to the Christianity movement is reprehensible. Sure, all Christians make mistakes – but we don’t go on national TV and call people bitches and cuss like a sailor – then take to our “quiet places” and cry and plead and beg God to forgive us. Girl, you’ve done messed up BIG time. And think about your kids that watched that! What will they think of you?????
Jess – My pick to win. Hands down. She deserves it for letting Eric kiss her if for no other reason. I’m sure that took some intestinal fortitude.

I am strongly disagreeing with the person who said Amber is fat. Now please understand, I am very very tired of Amber crying and her love affair with the mirror. I really think she needs help and I think that she is going to have some serious issues after finding out everything that was said about her. But Fat? Come on now. I find it hard to believe that Carol would come back. Eric talks about his long-distance relationship with someone named Cheryl, but that could be a blow up doll for all we know. The rumor mill always brings about more speculation, so hopefully most of this is not true. Anyone remember Nakomis? Her half brother was in the house and they revealed that. He was happier to “reconnect” than she was. Either way, it’s a fun show yet sadly the board has turned into Dr. Phil with many making moral judgments, being hyper sensitive and saying how much they hate the show, yet continue to comment, etc.. Being the last one standing is the name of the game and it can’t be easy to get there. =^^=

I have to say I am disapointed in Jameka for encouraging Amber’s delusions, it seems a friend (even a BB friend) should try to emphasize the positive aspects about Amber. There is nothing wrong with having self confidence but I think from the things Amber has said it is obvious that she has “Body Dismorphic Disorder” in reverse. Instead of thinking she is SO FAT when she is not, she thinks she is SO THIN when she is not. Amber is a normal sized person and she could be a role model for girls, showing that a drug addition can be overcome.

Rumors…the only one that I think is true is that Jen figured out something is going on between BB and Eric but I think the rest of the house guests have a clue something is not right with him.

Like someone said before if Eric and Carol had a relationship they most likely seen pictures. Apparetly Eric’s girlfriends name is Cheryl, but Cheryl and Carol are simmilar so I dunno.

All these rumors go to prove is just how uninteresting BB8 has become. Many viewers are trying to make up ttheir own show to overcome the bordom that has set in. None of these rumors are true. They aret just wishful thinking that something finally exciting will happen on this show to make it worth the effort we alll have given this program.This reality show has become one bit dose of unreality. As far as what is happening: Erick WILL NOT use the power of veto and Amber will leave the house and enter a convent. Zach or Daniele or Dick will get HOH next week and kick out either Eric or Jessica. Then they’ll pick off the others like sitting ducks and it will be down to Dick and Daniele and Daniele will win. Uninteresting playing all around this season which was caused in my opinion by the introduction of a creep like Eric and his hit-man-for-hire contracts. And as far as Eric, in real life he probably is a drag queen at some third-rate gay caberet somewhere in lower Altuna. Girfriends? Dream on. No, this show has only a few weeks left and there are no twists out there to be had. Just more ho-hum boredom right up to the absolutely dead and uninteresting finale. I for one really have great nostalgia for previous seasons of BB. This in my opinion is the WORST season yet and that I attribute to the intoduction of the “American Player” twist. Jen did find out about Eric being AP and BB producers/Network offered her something (cash or appearances) to keep quiet about it and go to Sequester rather than try to wiggle out of the S House. This offer was accepted by Jen. And, we might find out the details after the show is over.
Either Dani or Amber won some decent moola on Power of 10 (my guess is Dani).
There are no other pre set twists. Anything else that happens will be ‘on the spot’ manipulated by the BB Producers if things slow down too much and not enough drama happens naturally.

And if you attempt to even go to a blocked site, Big Brother at the State Capitol in Trenton is watching you. You Tube is a definitely blocked site in out state offices. The only places we can go is to the state webpage portal, Outlook Express to get our state email, and Yahoo/Mapquest. Everything else is blocked because of the viruses the state’s server was getting. We used to be able to download screen savers and desktop screens. No more. A few people d/l screen savers and desk-top scenes for Christmas one year and it filled the system with trojan and other viruses. Besides that, people who work for the state are supposed to be working, not on You Tube or shopping on the internet during their work hours. That’s why we get such fantastic pay and benefits……..ROFLMFAO…..LOL

Of course it is a guilty pleasure. First season I have watched and definitely will be the last – have to see it through. It is difficult to accept humanity at is worst I guess. I have found that watching the Showtime late night edition is far better than primetime which I no longer watch. You get to see the real person on latenight, not the edited version of them that CBS portrays on prime time. I guess that is why I find the Donatos and Eric so disgusting. I find it difficult to understand that they can possibly be so different out of the house. People do not change that drastically.

Wow, some of the comments made by posters on this board are deplorable, hurtful and unnecessary. Of course, they’re always about Dick and Eric, no surprise there. I think those of you who have such an intense hatred for Eric and Dick, who are playing a game, and go as far to judge them at a personal level based in part upon their physical appearance should seriously get a clue, get help, quit watching and quit posting. Like, first it was just Dick and then Eric had to get brought up into it. So what if you don’t like Eric. Most people don’t like him because of his “sleaziness” and “dishonesty”. Seriously, use your brain (if you have one) and realize, especially since it’s been pointed out by dozens of people by now, and realize that Eric can’t play the game for himself because of America, and instead he is forced to change his mind, act impulsively and make up lies. If he didn’t, he would have been out of the house ages ago.
Oh, sorry, I guess I should be mean to Dick, too. He’s verbally and mentally abusive. To be honest, those of you who sit in front of your PC and call people names and think of possibly hurtful insults just to throw at these people, who are simply playing a game, are the ones who are abusive. I don’t think Dick is abusive. Even if you do, by acting the same way as him you’re just cowardly and hypocritical. You can hide behind the anonimity of your computer and never have to face these people in reality, whereas at least Dick has the courage to confront people. I’m sure most of you wouldn’t say a damn thing to Dick in person if you could because you’d be afraid to. Congratulations, you can trashtalk people. Hope you’re proud of yourselves.
I would just like to clarify that I’m only speaking to those who just can’t seem to keep their hands and thoughts away from incessant insults; everybody is entitled to their opinion but seriously, whether or not these people are playing a game, they’re still people. WOW, these posts range from funny to weird to out there But I do need to reply to the last post…Although I highly agree that bad mouthing someone just for the fun of it is wrong, judging Dick as being a bully and abusive is a fact as he is verbally abusive and he is a bully. Is that the way he is in his real life. I do not know but I suspect so because I would not and could not be that verbally abusive to anyone and it is not right. Reading the posts at the beginning of this board just floored me. I have said since week one that this season is the inbreed cousin of Jerry Springer’s show. If I were one of the people working the camera’s behind the walls, at the end of the show I would have a complete lockdown and have all HG’s moved to the backyard so that any and all sharp and dangerous items that could cause great bodily harm are removed. Not just for all the remaining HG’s but for the people running this nightmare of what used to be a fun summer fling show of strategy and entertainment has become anything but.
I can honestly see Eric the Ferret only being capable of an on-line romance and that’s why in his words “its been an off-again, on-again relationship”. I can totally see his short man complex posting a fake picture. I honestly think CBS found him in some New York Performing Arts School or perhaps he’s a lacky behind the scenses. One night he referrenced “not even getting a five minute package” of any scenes he was in. I’m no pro on Hollywood/producing lingo but that caught my attention like a lightening bolt.
The other thing about the newest rumors are if Jen is truly Dicks daughter from a drunken night of “where’d that stain on my sheets come from” is downright despicable of CBS. Also explains why Jen quickly took down her Mom’s picture in the HOH room and she didn’t want to chance Dick’s alcohol soaked brain putting two and two together. He also made the comment last night that he hated Jen from the moment he saw her in the house…. How can you hate someone as intensely as he proved thru all his vile actions towards someone (a young woman no less) that you have never met? Gut feeling? I don’t know but it was very odd to me. Could it be he has some lingering flashbacks of a one night stand with Jen’s Mom? Something he can’t quite put his finger on?
Also, how would he like seeing someone dump a drink on Danielle’s head – a relationship he says he is so desperate to reconcile. I wouldn’t tolerate that kind of bahavior to a complete stranger. The whole Amber/Jameka God thing is also very obnoxious. How can you pray so vehemently and then use the kind of language they both do time and time again? How do they obsolve themselves of that? I don’t care if they say ED drove them to it, if they are the true Christians they so stoutly shout from their soap boxes, it doesn’t fly with me.
It appears that CBS handpicked this nightmare of clashing personalities and the ones that are left are hanging by a very thin string of sanity. When they find out they’ve been played and humiliated by CBS, I will have no pity on any of the people associated with this show. I don’t remember ever hearing of any past HG’s having to undergo “pyshce tests” in past shows so that alone leaves a bad taste in my mouth, like it was all premeditated.
Sadly, I find myself wanting to see how this all plays out just in hopes that CBS has not become the vile and consciouseless TV programming network. Who knows, all this could be a bad, bad dream and Bobby from Dallas will step out of the shower

Earlier this evening, Entertainment Tonight did a promo clip for their show tomorrow night. I was at the stove and couldn’t see the TV but did hear everything. They will be doing a piece tomorrow on the two BB house guests who competed on P10. It said they were blindfolded (makes sense I suppose) and then went on to tell viewers to tune in to find out what….*now wait for this one people*

Okay, my two cents. First of all Kool-Aid, I totally agree with you on the nature of the posts except your remark about Dick being courageous to say the things he says to peoples face. That is not courage, that is a lot of other things, but not in the least bit courageous, but I get your drift on everything else.
Guys, this is a reality show. Just like Vegasgirl and others have said, these people have stated more than once they have watched all of the BB seasons. They knew perfectly well they would be talked about, dissected and picked on. They had the personalities (and it certainly takes all kinds to make the world go round) to think they could withstand this. I do definitely take offense when I see personal, hateful, cruel things said to and about anyone. I don’t on the other hand, think that there is anything wrong with laughing and being tired of Amber’s excessive crying and mirror affair or Dani’s whining about “hating all of these people” and Dicks constant vile comments and constant spitting and other gross behaviors. We are humans watching other humans and it is natural to comment on behaviors, just not get down and dirty and call people skanky, and fat and ugly and such mean things like that.
It is funny to watch and that is what we are supposed to do. We just can’t take things so personal or so hateful.
As far as Christianity goes, I am a Christian but part of being one is being human, sinning and making mistakes. I don’t think that God strikes down Christians who cuss, but I do think it is wrong to make a stand on your soap box about how wonderful you are by being a Christian and then not living up to your soap box. I am a Christian who cusses sometimes and asks for forgiveness but I don’t walk around making that What I AM! Does that make sense? LOL it does in my mind, but don’t think I got it across!!!!!!
Anyhoo, JMO! I am totally love the show and find it addictive, even if it is stupid sometimes. I love reading all of your posts. Thanks for making it so enjoyable!

The other night I had stayed up a while to watch BBAD and I fell asleep on the couch. You know what woke me up? On a more serious note, I think I liked Kaysar better because he did his low key and it was his religious belief but I don’t remember him ever making it about his game or thinking is was morally above others. With Jameka and Whamber, it seems more like a moral high road that they can’t pull off. I think it is using Christianity to get votes, although they don’t realize that it is turning a lot of the viewers off. I may be wrong about Kaysar. I have lost some brain cells since then.

I sort of expected them to rush the Sunday show a bit and put the POV in that show, offering us the opportunity to vote on POV usage.

Ok, Watching the Power Of Veto last night I got to see Amber in a different light. Although I was ashamed for her ( the crying, lack of education or common knowldge)I also saw her differently. I also took another good look at Dani who as always thinks of only herself! Could she not of mentioned at least a nice dinner out for grandmother? I have never seen her TRULY think of anyone but herself. Including when she SAID she was sorry about Kayle ( not sure how to spell her name) anyway, she is trly self centered at all times. ED at least thinks of her, his son and such. He is crude and verbally abusive, etc but he does have some redeeming qualities, which I do not see in Dani. I had loser parents was raised by my grandparents and consider myself so lucky to have had them and I activly pursue closeness with my family and friends not anything like poor me. I should have been so lucky to have my dad want a relationship as hers does. She needs to get over herself. At this point I will take anyone winning but D or D, I may not like it but I can deal with it. Yes, I know they are both great players cause they are there and they have worked for it but I can not stand them! Also Eric mistook getting Amber nominated for voting her out. There is a difference as they should have backed doored dani or Dick at the least!

Dick is one of my favorites on the show but if you look at the other HGs they don’t do anything on the scale that ED does. Has anyone counted the # of times Dick expectorates (ask Amber what this means if you want a laugh) when he’s in the spitting zone? Wouldn’t take too much of an effort … i.e. # of loogies divided by minutes in a spitting zone = loogies per minute.
My personal least favorite habit of the current HGs is watching Jameka (Ja-mess-ica) eat. She chews like she’s on a mission of some sort. Grinding away at 4 times the rate of your average masticator. She’s also taken on a bit of Jessica’s speaking rhythm which is something of a personality flaw hence – Jamessica.
