Big Brother 24 — About Tonight’s Eviction

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 1, 2022

Hi, everyone!

There were no surprises tonight as far as the eviction was concerned.  Terrance considered voting to keep Kyle but changed his mind once it became apparent that his vote wouldn’t change the outcome.  Kyle asked Alyssa to vote him out.  Obviously, Michael, Brittany, and Monte weren’t going to keep him.  By a vote of 5-0, Kyle was evicted from the House.

Kyle’s main concern was that the audience would boo him.  As far as I can tell, he did not get booed when he left the House but there wasn’t much applause either.  It honestly sounded like production turned off the audience microphones at the last minute so who knows.

Kyle is gone and the game continues.  Michael and Brittany have been on everyone’s radar for a while but Michael just won HoH.  (Michael is a challenge beast!)  So, both he and probably Brittany are going to be safe this week (or at least, they will be until Thursday).  Terrance is convinced that Michael will be nominating him for eviction.  We’ll find out tomorrow when the nominations are announced!

Zingbot should be dropping by sometime tonight.  He won’t be on the feeds but he will be on Sunday’s episode.

Finally, this upcoming Thursday is another double eviction.

There’s only about 3 more weeks left in the season.  It’ll be over before we know it.

Kyle was treated so unfairly. He’s not a racist he’s ignorant and he admitted it. He did nothing wrong but made an assumption based on what he saw. Then Monty confirmed or backed up the way Kyle was thinking. Monty said when he went to college he gravitated toward what he was comfortable with. I’ve seen it at work when new people start. We all do it. We gravitate towards what’s familiar. If that’s what he saw or concluded leave it at that. Brittany and Michael twisted that to make him look bad. I don’t think Kyle did anything that was that bad. Shame on you CBS you orchestrated last season and probably urged the cookout idea. Race in entertainment is ruining it. This may be my last Big Brother season. It’s not about a game any more. It’s about appeasing the squeakiest wheels.
