Big Brother 22 — What To Expect At Tomorrow’s Veto Ceremony

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 30, 2020

Hi, everyone!

So, here’s the situation in the House, for those who need to be reminded:

Enzo is the HoH.

Kaysar and Kevin are the nominees. Ezno’s target is Kaysar and Kevin was put up as a pawn.

At the veto competition, Kevin won the veto. Kevin’s not stupid. Even though he’s only been nominated as a pawn, he’s not going to run the risk of staying on the block and having something weird happen. He’s going to use the veto tomorrow.

That means that, for the first time this season, the HoH is going to have to pick a replacement nominee. This is where things get tricky because, after he won HoH, Enzo promised almost everyone in the House that he wouldn’t nominate them if the veto was used. Plus, Enzo is in so many alliances that it seemed like it would be impossible for him not to be forced to pick one of his allies. Even if Kaysar is voted out on Thursday, whoever Enzo uses as a replacement nominee will probably feel betrayed.

Just as it looked like things could get interesting as far as Enzo’s decisions were concerned, Christmas showed up to provide an easy solution. Earlier today, she approached Enzo and — get this — she volunteered to go on the block!

And, as of right now, Enzo is planning on taking her up on it.

What is Christmas thinking!? Christmas told Enzo that she views it as “taking one for the team,” but Big Brother is not a team sport …. except, of course, it kind of was the last time that Christmas played. Remember, during Big Brother 19, everyone did what Paul said. People threw HoH comps because Paul told them to. One person won a veto and did not use it on themselves because Paul assured them that they would be safe. Everyone was on Paul’s team in Big Brother 19 and it’s clear that Christmas still has’t learned that her season was not a typical Big Brother season.

Christmas is obviously confident that Kaysar is the target and that she won’t be voted out on Thursday. She’s probably right but still, I’d love to see an upset happen. I mean, to me, there’s just something insulting about volunteering to be nominated. The whole point of the game is to not be nominated. If Christmas’s act of hubris led to her getting voted out, it would be a classic Big Brother moment.

It probably won’t happen, of course. But still, one can hope.

I cant see that happening but with BB expect the unexpected! Kaysar should then go to Enzo and make every deal and promise possible! Promises to good to say no and he should go to a few others with deals. It can happen. Kaysar just seems off for some reason. He seems tired. I would love to see him get some energy and stay!

Tonight’s show was way too political for me! I realize they are using this show to do this, but I don’t think this will be acceptable to the BB viewers! Personally, I’m glad I DVR’d it, so I just fast forward past all of it!
Thank you Lisa for a good report! 💗

I agree 100%! I watch BB to get away from the politics. I don’t need to hear more complaining about it on my favorite reality show. They don’t do it on Survivor, they don’t need to do it on BB! I fast forward through it myself. Having said that, I think Kaysar is History. He hasn’t even tried to align himself with anyone. He walks around angry all the time. That is how you lose BB. See ya Kaysar…👋

CBS loves to show how PC they are, and jumping on the current bandwagon. Survivor does it too. Remember when that guy outed the trans guy? That’s my favorite show, but Jeff likes to get into the pc stuff too. It’s nice the houseguests have important conversations, but we doin’t need to see them. A lot gets cut out, all of a sudden they were both crying.

Too political? There is nothing political about believing Black Lives Matter and that police brutality has gotten out of hand. It is a matter of human rights. If you classify this as political then you are declaring yourself part of the minority that believes it is okay to murder as long as you wear a badge. Please rethink and understand that people who don’t look like you have to fear for their lives. No matter your political affiliation, this should resonate with you.

Hey you guys. I have kind of a long post but there was a lot going on very late on the LFS and I wanted to share because I’m
Pumped! lol
I was watching the LFS late which I started doing this year since we don’t have BBAD. The best part of the whole show is at 2-3 in the morning BBT!! lol Anyway everyone kept going up to Enzos room tonight trying to feel him Out. See what he’s going to do tomorrow. If you read Lisa’s blog, earlier Christmas offered herself up as a pawn to Enzo. Huh?? Who does thst?? Even I started getting suspicious. He gave her thst safety suite plus one snd was kidding about being her baby daddy. Well she went up there later after she’d thot about it snd said she didn’t think it was a good idea now. She suggested putting David up. Enzo has no problem with David tho and now is really comfortable with her going up and wants to keep it like that. She’s says that’s ok but you can tell she is nervous about it.
Meanwhile, Cody snd Tyler are in the lounge talking. I guess Dani has been
Playing both sides of the house. Even Kaysar told Enzo that. She’s telling the guys to put up “the girls’… Bay and D ay…. and telling them
To go after Ty and Cody. Tyler kept trying o get Enzo alone to talk about this. At one point Dani and Nic were in the room snd Nic told Ty she knew about the Slick Six!!!! Tyler tried to act stupid but was caught off guard and Dani left the room and deserted him! So he admitted it and said he didnt know she knew. Dani had Told her! Dani, Christmas snd Nic all sleep in that open hallway BR together and Dani blabs everything that’s going on! So Ty said to Enzo….. we gotta BD Dani! Yo! lol he said his season was all BDs and this one is BORING! When they started really talking game you could see the old Tyler come out. He’s really good at the strategy part of it. And he thinks so
Much faster and farther ahead of everyone else I think he’s frustrated as heck! You’ve got newbies and old farts in there and no ones got any guts! They finally decide to go ahead andget Kaysar our thisweek then see how to get Dani out. Enzo was laying in bed wide awake and worried last I looked.

I like how meow meow does what he wants to do, like memphis. No reason to go after david, he is a non player. Love how everyone keeps getting in cody’s ‘radar’.

I doubt Kaysar will use this strategy, but he should make the play that the men need to keep their numbers. That’s about the only play he has… but I doubt he’ll even think of it. It might not work anyway since they’ve only voted out women this season. Maybe better for the girls that Kaysar go anyway… they’ll miss a great opportunity to backdoor Dani this week though and I have no doubt that she will go after the men should the women somehow come into power! Gotta win an HOH first.. and they haven’t!

Yeah, Dani may be shooting herself playing so hard. And the star baby mama may just have got herself out the door.

Yes I would love to see Christmas go. Star is right, who offers themselves to go on the block but an over confidant fool. I don’t like That attitude. Hope Kaiser can stay

Hi, They are all ignoring the alliance of David, Bayleigh, and Da’Vonne. Da’Vonne made it a “racial alliance” when she said she would not vote against a black brother. That would not be good if a white player did the same for a similar player. David is coasting-along, makes too many mistakes and has been “carried” from the get-go.
Hope Janelle can come back in a future competition for ousted players.
Sooner or later, they will all go after each other, their disloyal actions will all become apparent.
