Big Brother 22 — Week 1 Veto Meeting Results

by Lisa Marie Bowman on August 10, 2020

Hi, everyone!

So, earlier today, we had our first veto meeting of the season. Keesha and Kevin are on the block. Enzo won the veto. And, at the meeting …. Enzo decided not to use the veto.

There’s nothing shocking about that. Enzo apparently wasn’t even planning on trying to win the veto until he saw how badly Cody was doing during the competition. From the minute Enzo put on the veto necklace, he’s been saying that he wasn’t going to use it and he didn’t.

So, who is going home this week?

Right now, it seems like it will be Keesha. She was Cody’s target to begin with and the majority of the people in the House are people who played on seasons when the HoH pretty much got whatever they wanted. I could see Kaysar and Janelle voting for Kevin because they played Big Brother back before it became normal for the House to vote unanimously. But the players from the more recent seasons will probably just go along with the majority.

Oddly, I really haven’t seen either Keesha or Kevin really campaigning that hard to stay. Kevin’s been crying a lot but somehow, he’s also gotten it into his head that Janelle is the one who convinced Cody to nominate him. In fact, Kevin says that, if he wins the next HoH, that he’s going to nominate Kaysar and Janelle!

Now that the veto ceremony is over with, maybe Keesha will finally try to make a deal to stay in the House. Even if she is the target, Kevin’s not exactly popular with the other houseguests and it’s still easy to imagine the target getting moved off of Kevin and onto Keesha. (Kevin also apparently came very close to winning the veto, showing that he’s more of a challenge threat than I think some of the younger players expected him to be.) We’ll see what happens!

Thanks Lisa! I hope Keesha goes. She seems overwhelmed to me

Kevin is always crying and Keesha seems out to lunch, so I really don’t care who goes, although hearing Kevin wants to put up Kaysar and Janelle if he wins the next HOH made me laugh. Thank for the great write ups Lisa Marie. Good to have you back!!

Keesha just being Keesha. When she first played in season 10, she was exactly the same as she is now… including being single, childless and working as a waitress in a restaurant. She made it to F4 and had F2 deals with both Dan & Memphis. She cried her heart out the night before her eviction when they told her it was all a rouse and they weren’t taking her to F3 or F2. America felt so sorry for her (she was genuinely blindsided by her eviction) that they (we) voted her as America’s Favorite Player. Keesha doesn’t “seem“ confused and overwhelmed, she is confused and overwhelmed. Back then, as now, I find her quite refreshing amongst the movers, shakers and deal makers! I’ll hate to see her go if she does. If Kevin stays, we’ll be subjected to his constant paranoia and crying jags… which I admit is more entertaining than complete cluelessness. Sigh…

I haven’t really gotten emotionally involved with BB22 yet! I’m sure I will as the season progresses!! Has anyone heard if POP is going to give us BBAD? That made a big difference with my enjoying the show! POP kept things interesting! I love seeing some of my BBuddies back! Goodnight everyone!. Stay safe! 💗💗

This is what I found when I googled ….

This year, CBS will air three episodes a week of the all-stars season of Big Brother. Episodes will air on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. … Pop, however, will not be airing spin-off Big Brother: After Dark this year.

I can’t even remember Keesha from her season. I guess she was a non-factor for me then…and now. 🙂
