Big Brother 21 — Week 5 Nominations

Hi y’all!

So, there were no big surprises in today’s nominations. Last night, after about two and a half hour of hanging and spinning around on a swing, Holly finally won the HoH comp. It all came down to her and Analyse and, considering that they’re both in the same alliance and were pretty much planning on doing the same thing as HoH, it’s kind of weird how long the two of the spent competing to see who could stay on their swing for the longest. This might be evidence that Holly and Analyse don’t trust each other as much as they claim. More likely, it probably just means that neither one of them is smart enough to know that it’s often better to not be HoH.

(Earlier today, Analyse told Tommy that she didn’t know what “an adjective” is. Interestingly enough, Tommy said that he didn’t know either.)

Anyway, Holly is now HoH and that essentially means that Jackson and Jack are now HoH. Despite the fact that Jackson spent the previous week yelling at her and breaking up with her, Holly has been more than happy to allow Jackson to join her in the HoH room.

Jack and Jackson wanted to target Sam and Nick this week so, of course, that’s who Holly nominated for eviction. Sam and Nick are on the block. If either Sam or Nick wins the veto, Holly has indicated that she might put Kat up as a replacement. This makes sense, considering that Kat and Jackson apparently fooled around during the first week in the House and Jackson has often said that he can just go back to Kat if anything bad happens with Holly. So, if Holly can’t get out Nick or Sam, she can always get out her competition.

(Sidenote: Jackson really is one of the least likable people that I’ve ever seen on this show.)

So, Holly is now HoH. Jackson is no longer a Have-Not, though he’s still whining as if he was. And Sam and Nick have been put on the block.
