Big Brother 21 — Week 2 Eviction Update

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 11, 2019

Hi, everyone!

So, if you haven’t seen Thursday’s episode yet, everything below is going to be a spoiler. So, read at your own risk!

So, as she’s been threatening to do, Kemi called out Nick and Bella in her speech before the vote. It didn’t do her any good, of course. Jack wanted Kemi gone and, for some reason, the Houseguets feel that they have to do what he wants. So, everyone voted for Kemi except for …. JACKSON!

That’s right. Jackson voted to evict Jessica. I’m not sure what his strategy was. I don’t know if he’s trying to stir up trouble in the House by casting a dissenting vote. (I could easily imagine him trying to blame someone else for the vote.) Perhaps he’s thinking that, if Kemi wins a chance to reenter the House, he’ll be the only person who can tell her — without having to lie — that he didn’t vote to evict her. All I can say for sure is that Jack — being the paranoid guy that he is — will not be happy about that one vote. We’re going to hear a lot about that one vote over the rest of the week.

The HoH comp was an ax throwing comp, with a twist. At the top of the target, there were two red dots, one for safey, one for $5,000. If a HG opted not to compete for HoH, they could go for either safety or the money. Now, no one hit either one of those targets. It looked to me like maybe Cliff tried to get the money but I can’t say for sure.

What I can say is that the new HoH is …. NICK! That’s right, Nick scored a 90 so Nick is now the HoH! That’s good news for Bella because she was probably going to be targeted otherwise. Nick will keep Bella safe but who will he go after? It’s hard to say. Technically, he’s a part of Gr8ful but he and Bella have spent the entire game so far trying to play every side of the House. If I had to guess, though, I imagine that Nick will play it safe and do whatever Jack says and that’s going to be bad news for Cliff. Of course, it’s also going to depend on whether or not Jackson can frame anyone else for casting the vote for Jessica. If Jackson convinces everyone that Sam or Nicole cast that vote, that person could become the new target.

We’ll see what happens!

Oh boy!! I guess it could be worse! I really wanted Sam to win HOH! I wanted someone who would put Bella on the block! Maybe Nick will surprise us all! I would love for him to have the guts to put up some of his alliance! He should realize he is low on the totem pole of the Gr8ful alliance! I’m ready for some shaking up in the house, and I don’t mean another earthquake! Thank you Lisa!
Goodnight everyone! 💗

I’m not happy that Nick won. I thought I’d like him and Bella after interviews at the beginning but I was wrong. I’m I’m now rooting for 2 rejects. Kemi and Ovi. Maybe David but I haven’t seen enough of him to be sure. Also I do like Sam and I do hope he goes far.

Jackson told Jack after comp. last night about what he did , and he laughed and said smart thinking as Jackson said poor Nicole would take the fall for , and they agreed not to tell anyone else.
