@the mortgage dr, I agree with you! CBS made wrong choices this season. Last year when I was so upset with BB, I went to CBS.com and sent them an e-mail telling them how disappointed I was with the show. I actually received an answer. I am wondering if everyone on this blog would write to them, expressing their feelings about the show, would it make an impact? I don’t think any of us really like the show! I used to have a couple of people I liked on the show, but this year it’s just Johnny Mc. Sad!!

If you asked me even a week ago my choice for eviction this week I would have said Becky but after last night’s episode I hope John gets the boot. He is on the block heading into the final stretch and talks about THROWING THE POV????? What an idiot. And his dumb horse laugh now grates on my nerves. I know he is a “fan favorite” but I don’t really know why. He has shown next to no game play and failed to align himself firmly with anyone. I couldn’t care less if he is kind of funny in the diary room. Your diary room comments do not win you BB and I thought that is what this is all about. In my best Jack Nicholson impression:

I wanted Becky and John to make it to the end together but now though I voted Becky out over there—–> I don’t know if it’s right… somehow if either one could come back…that’d be great. @the mortgage dr.: I was thinking the same thing. For the last three seasons there have
been rumors that Grodner was leaving BB because of the displeasure with the cast by the
fans. But somehow she remains. CBS needs to re-cast their production staff, if they want
to see BB continue going.
Someone said Julie Chen wants this to be her last season. Maybe it is the last season for
BB, or maybe they will get someone else to take her place. I know one season her husband
had a hand in casting decisions. Maybe he needs to re-think his involvement with casting
When something is succcessful, you leave it alone and don’t mess with it.
This year has been a hit and miss all season (mostly miss). They got rid of the things we
fans came to expect to be part of the game, took over decisions to change things without
any explanation as to why for the fans, and did a miserable casting job. Then BBAD has
become the most boring of all seasons with constant game playing (and I don’t mean
BB game playing) instead of game talk and big move decisions. Last week James made a
horrible decision to get Meg and Jackie to go against Becky’s wishes and keep Vanessa.
How’s that working for them now?
I think JM will get her out if he can win HOH. Here’s hoping. I don’t trust James to get
it done. He’s had opportunities and didn’t do it. He was the ring leader of last week’s fiasco.
I like him and his antics, but his game play has not been good.
I fear that if Austin is removed and Vanessa stays, she becomes an even greater threat.
She can mold the twins from Space Academy into whatever she wants them to be and
lead them by the noses to do what she wants. Steve follows in their wake. As much as
I dislike Austin and his actions, I think they have to get Van out first.

@macy…on the last blog, I wrote about Becky’s toe. I think she originally hurt it in teh HOH comp she won. the slip and slide thing. She complained after that about it hurting and they just had like ballet slippers on. She is on antibiotics so it’s bot a break.. I think she may have lost her toenail, and it got infected. Couldn’t swear to it tho!! lol

Once again BB has disappointed and disgusted me. If I have to hear those teenage screams of the “twins” like 12 year olds I could just scream myself. It is so irritating, beyond describing in words. All they seem to be are two immature little competitive bitches. Neither of them have a set of balls! Another perfect chance to get rid of the controlling, lying and manipulating Vanessa and no one did it. Why the heck not??? I am so confused. I think even Victoria from last seasons would have acted, had she evrr won HOH!. And for Alison Gridnor, take another member of the daily feeds off your profit margin. I refuse to pay for such shit TV. At least with a more mature set of house members it might be more game talk and less girlie sex and how manly Austin is. I am sick to death of it all. I am not watching BBAD or the feeds. I watch the regular show and that’s just to confirm none of the house guest have the balls to want to win this game.

Very disappointing day on BB. The best part of today was getting our Maggie groomed and finally getting to go out to dinner at Cheddars! Best Onion rings ever! 🙂 Off to bed and dream about how I am going to find a good book to read next week! No interest in BB. I will, however, keep blogging here. From what I am hearing, JM is Austin’s Angels target! The reason?? Austin is a big chicken shit!! But also, Van has been up his butt since the comp ended! She has all these way too complex plans and reason to give people for why they do whichever scenario. Instead of seeming like a good strategist like Derrick or Dan, she just seems neurotic and paranoid!
But it looks like either meg and Steve or Meg and James are going up with the intention of BDING JM. She was also saying he doesn’t trust Steve which is odd because they have supposedly have a F2 deal. And she thinks Steve is trying to win it and going to take JM with him because, at least in the house, no one feels like anyone would vote for JM!!
But who knows?? The hamsters are scampering and a lot could change before Thurs.
BTW….H/Ns are James and Meg….who volunteered….and Julia!! He prolly wants to keep her out of the HOH room at night!!lol I guess Julia gave Liz a dirty look like…thanks for having my back, SIS!!! Liz sure doesn’t treat Julia very well. I wonder if it’s like this outside the house too??

@Star – I can relate to your frustration of nobody to play with except possibly a few insomniacs….LOL 🙁 By the time I watch the CBS show and then BBAD I’m behind all you guys anywhere from 3-6 hours and in catch up mode. I leave my comments in the wee hours of the morning and wonder at times if anybody but a few read them. And for some silly reason for the last 2-3 shows I avoid any spoilers to try to make this season’s viewing more enjoyable by adding the element of surprise!! I do appreciate your play by play though it’s probably no consolation for your yearning for live repartee.
I like JMac but don’t get why so many are so utterly and completely enamored with him…??? For a while I thought he might win and wanted him to but have flipped my vote to James but I still think it’s going to be Vanessa, Steve and Austin in the final 3.
I would like to see Chenbot replaced but don’t look to the demise of BB anytime soon as the ratings came in at 4 & 5 of the top 5 shows 2 weeks in a row. That’s great ratings

It took Vanessa 2 seconds flat to begin telling Austin how to run his HOH with her and now predictable formula of 1)who to put up (her perceived enemy) 2) revealing a “big” secret of what somebody told her to support her lie which is unverifiable because the source has been evicted 3) all while protecting Steve…blah blah blah…more loops to baffle her audience with BS. Later when she was gone Austin shared the info with the Goblins and maybe others and they all see right through her BS wheeling and dealing but still have the most stupid rational for keeping her for a little while longer!!!! GRRR!!! They are so so stupid and deserve what they will get in the end for keeping the “bigger target.” Plus, the Austwins should have been broken up long ago but people kept them in play selfishly to gain the 3 votes not realizing those same 3 votes will sink them in the end. Dumb dumb and dumber!!

Being that my data bucket was refilled I ventured out on the live feeds to watch something from 8/14 when I noticed that Judas was in the HOH room….humm??!!! Judas wearing his black hat was pacing the floor while Steve and JMac were on the couch and Liz in bed and all were discussing getting rid of Vanessa!!! It sounds like Judas is working up the courage and putting together the plan asking should it be via front or back door…??..and who should be the pawns…??…etc. etc. Yipee!!! I’m afraid JM is a lost cause. Austin is doing exactly as I feared. He’s not strong enough
to get rid of Vanessa. Getting rid of JM is a waste of a HOH, but he is listening to the
wrong people. The twins are so quick to vilify anyone brought up and have as much game
sense as two wet sponges. That could probably go for IQ, too. Especially with Julia. There
seems to be some deep seeded animosity and jealousy between the twins. It is apparent
that Julia feels inferior to Liz, and Liz exacerbates that weakness in her. Most twins are
far more loyal and tightly bonded than these two appear to be.
JM is believing and trusting Austin to keep him safe and is willing to throw a comp for him? Are you kidding me????? This will be the final nail in his game coffin. They will
seek to keep Steve out of the loop for fear he will spill the beans to JM.
I listened to them going over every scenario for the four jurors coming back and with
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------whom they thought they would align themselves. There is no way to accurately guess
what any of them would do,except for Jackie. She would definitely go back to Meg and James. To me the smartest thing, game-wise, would be to get rid of James. He would fight like crazy to come back (I think it’s usually an endurance comp), but would have only Meg to begin his campaign to regain postion. It would keep things at the same level of play. If
JM comes back or Becky or even Shelli, they could go more towards Meg and James and
Steve. They could switch control. The Austwins are keeping Vanessa for their own numbers, but there is no guarantee she will stay with them when the going gets tough.
Steve is not going to be happy to see JM go. He is the wild card in the deck. He can win
comps when needed and is getting upset with the Austwins and Vanessa, although he
keeps a close alliance with them for self protection. He may not realize until it’s too late
than even Vanessa is against him.
It looks like the final three could well end up being Austwins and Vanessa in some combi-
nation. Unless Liz is able to drag Julia along with her, Julia may be the odd one out.
IF any of those four end up as F2, it will be the worst season of all times for me. But then
this all just my opinion and could be completely wrong.

I thought the worst summer ever was when we could no longer take booze of any kind onto “whiskey” beach at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, back in the early 70’s, but this mind numbing experiment in bottom of the barrel casting called Big Brother 17 is actually worse by far.

Why is everyone saying Austin needs to vote out Vanessa????? She is in his alliance and she always votes with her alliance; she is a vote. To vote out 1 of his alliance members is crazy. He needs to work on getting the #s down on the other side. Austin’s Angels is the strongest alliance in the house right now and if Vanessa can keep Steve on the lease that makes a 5 member alliance. But if they dont get some of the others out the # is going to go back up with the jury house member comes back in. I think even Shelli with switch sides unless they get the # down over there on James alliance side.

This week and next week could really be a lot of fun if they would just follow my plan lol. But I cant hardly stomach anymore throwing comps and hiding out walking around and talking to yourself.
