Hi everyone!
Well, I’m going to be spending the holiday weekend with family so I’m about to leave. But, before I go, here’s a quick update on what is happening in the Big Brother house!
So, yesterday, new HoH Steve did exactly what he said he was going to do. He nominated Austin and Liz for eviction. And Liz totally and completely lost it! Apparently, she was so upset at being nominated that she stood up and walked out on Steve’s nomination speech. She spent most of yesterday sobbing. At one point, she told Austin that she’s an “ugly crier,” and you know what? She’s right.
Liz mentioned several reasons why she’s upset. She claimed that she and Julia have repeatedly fought to keep Steve in the house. She claimed that Steve swore on his family that he would not nominate her or her sister. She said that it wasn’t fair that she was nominated because, as HoH, she was not eligible to compete. Liz especially said that it’s not fair that she’s been nominated along with Austin, one of the few people in the house who would vote to keep her. Liz said a lot of things but basically it all comes down to Liz being entitled and not understanding how the game works.
And, honestly, I usually hate to see anyone cry but it’s next to impossible for me to feel any sympathy for Liz. This the same Liz who mocked Clay and Shelli for getting upset when they were put on the block together. This is the same Liz who made fun of Meg for crying when she was evicted and who then, along with her sister, went out of her way to throw Meg’s stuff around during the veto competition. This is the same Liz who has bragged about how much she enjoys taping “mean goodbye messages.”
Sorry, Liz. No sympathy.
The POV comp is later today. The best scenario for Liz would be to have Julia win the veto. That would also be the worst scenario for Vanessa because she would probably be the replacement nominee. Perhaps that’s why, last night, Vanessa was trying to convince both Liz and Julia to throw the veto comp.
As for Austin — well, he’s acting like Austin. At the same time, I will give him some credit for not behaving as badly as some of us assumed her would once he was finally nominated. He did tell Liz that if either one of them is evicted, all the live feeders will cancel their accounts because all of them love him and Liz so much.
(Sorry, Austin — you’re thinking of James and Meg!)
The veto comp is later today! And it might be the most important veto so far. If Julia wins that veto and takes off Liz, it’ll be the end of the game for either Vanessa or Johnny Mac. If Austin or someone else wins the veto, it’ll mean that, come Thursday, the house will contain one less twin.

spirited people cannot take what they dish out. Where were the twins parents when
these two were raised? They lack basic table manners, do not know how to treat anyone but themselves decently, cannot handle anyone getting something they think they deserve (just because they are so special), act out like three-year-olds most of the time, have an
overblown opinion of their actual physical looks, and are poor sports. Really??!!

I watched that crying fit yesterday and thought the same thing Lisa! What an entitled little bitch!!! Liz and Julia bitched and hated on Steve and everyone else in the house for over 4 hours. It was ridiculous. They didn’t remember how much fun they made of everyone else when they were emotional on the block. They always said, ‘Get over it bitch’.
I hope and pray if Julia wins and Liz comes off the block that Vanessa is put up. I can just imagine the tizzy Vanessa will be in if Julia does win. lol. Steve will not have a moment alone. She will be on him like white on rice trying to convince him to put up Johnnie. I don’t believe he will. I have heard him talking to himself empathatically that he wants to take Johnnie to final two.
We can only hope!

This is a great move for Steve. But I think they will evict Austin if the twins win veto. I don’t think Steve will keep Austin and I think Vanessa will be only too happy to vote Austin out. He is her biggest threat right now. Plus it will keep most of the blood off her hands. Austin better win veto and he might be able to save Liz and send Julia packing which I figure he won’t be too upset over either. But I really think JM is safe this week. He was smart to buddy up with Steve a couple of weeks ago.

I really don’t care who wins now. All the likable strong ones are gone now with James and Meg being the last to go. With that being said, it is time for the twins and Austin to go. If they were smart, which not many has proven this season, they would send Liz, Austin, and Julie in that order home. The most likable left would be John, he just isn’t very smart when playing the game.

Looking forward to hearing results of POV also. After Thursday night’s DE., it occurred to me that no matter what happens from now on , one of the Austwins or Vanessa will be in the final three! Ugh! @Sherry, my mom had so many, I wish I could remember them all. One of my favorites is: “Tis better to remain silent and thot a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!” 🙂 (I think there is a similar saying in Proverbs). Jeanne and I listen to The Audio Bible at night. We are going through the Bible in a year. I think the Proverb I just mentioned, was read a few days ago. 🙂

I find myself wondering, with some amusement, since this season has been so absolutely awful it has ALMOST had me missing Frankie Grande; almost!!!, what the twins will think when they get out and realize how their actions were perceived and how much the live-feeders and BBAD watchers actually saw (including sex with Austin, ewwww!!!) and truly despised them, their personalities and even their insipid looks. They are not the hot, attractive girls they believe themselves to be. I’m sure they will just dismiss us all as ‘jealous.’ After all, it couldn’t be true! With one twin reinforcing the other’s delusions it’s much like having a mirror, mirror on the wall supporting the fantasy. Most of us have someone in our life that doesn’t gain by giving identical feedback. If Liz says Julia is not pretty or hot she’s basically saying that she herself is not. It helps to explain some of the narcissism, but not all of it. After all, we have our own set of twins on this blog and their behavior and comments are reasonable, kind, and considerate toward others.
I feel a little sad for Steve’s mother. Her college-age son talks to her as if she was there, looks to her, rather than peers for advice, and is quite simply a sissy – afraid of his own shadow or making an independent decision. He hasn’t mentioned having any friends outside the house, has obviously been sheltered. I’m convinced that, as mentioned previously, he must be an only child. This is probably the first time in his life he has been out of touch with his mother and her guidance in his life, since at college he can phone her and go home to see her. If she really wanted to help her son grow she would send him off to the Peace Corps for a year to see some real life and learn a few things. It’s no wonder he’s attached himself to Vanessa, the strongest woman remaining in the house. I don’t believe Steve has suddenly grown a pair with his recent nominations, I think he’s just borrowing Vsnessa’s temporarily and will have to give them back at the end if his HOH.

There’s belief out there that Steve has been doing a lot of acting and faking and is really less of a whimp than he lets on. (based on his own comments when he’s alone, little winks .. going from tears to smiles once he’s behind closed doors and admitting he was faking. Sure hope JM is in good with Steve because he can only pick him,Vanessa or Julia. Putting up Vanessa would absolutely be the super fan smart thing to do and even Steve should know that Super Fan Vanessa knows that. But keeping Liz keeps the 3 together on the other hand . I don’t believe this again they could be safe with Steve and JM! And Vanessa gone on Thursday. Sure as 6 th place ! Going to be a rough week for Vanessa. Anybody feel bad? Awe we ! @Princess, thank you for the kind words. As I mentioned before, I critique the players on BB as if I was watching a movie and cheering the good guys and booing the bad guys (or girls). In “real life” I would just pray for them! 🙂 I love young people. My husband and I had a youth group of over 100 teens, and I have always been involved with kids, either teaching Sunday School or working at music camps or Summer Bible Classes.

This turned out not to be Steve’s week to exit the house thanks to his HOH win. With Austin and Liz nominated, austwins only hope for survival was for Julia to win the POV. She didn’t, Austin did. So fast forward to Monday when Austin forsakes Liz, his damsel in distress, and allows Judas to remove Sir Austin Von Dickhead from the block, immediately replaced by Julia for the first double our pleasure, double our fun Monday through Thursday sob fest marathon. Then at vote time, Sir Austin Von Dickhead will rush to the Diary room to save his “this isn’t fair”maiden, Liz, forgetting his one vote won’t save her from the two votes to banish her certain to come from the flame throwing dragoness, Vanessa de la Styx, and JMac, Lord Braveheart for a day.
With Liz gone on Thursday, austwins will be reduced to austalavista while Vanessa puts her final PLAN into action, namely, F2 with Steve, F2 With JMac, F2 with Austin and F2 with Julia, each to be sworn on the Fu**ing Bible, her Mother and her girlfriend Mel!

I hope Liz goes home. She is so mean and makes nasty comments every time someone else goes home. Separate the showmance on the show. They sure did it fast for Clay and Shelli. If they loose the twins, who is going to cook for them? I never see JM or Steve cook or clean or anyone in the house wear slippers. I think having a twin in the house is just not fair. I hope both of them are gone very soon. I meant to say the MEAN GIRLS. It is really sad that the parents favor one twin over the other. They both need to grow up. Steve really is a Momma’s boy. I hope JM goes all the way. He may talk funny, but I bet he knows his stuff when it comes to being a dentist. He may not say a lot, but seems like a good kid. Sorry , I wouldn’t be a very good News Reporter , I’m too nosey! I just want to stay and listen to the demise! Laughing my ass off ! Austin has been in Vanessa Adderal bottle ! He is talking 200mph ! Liz shot him down⬇️, and told him he was ugly and to get out of her sight she didn’t want to see him. She said he was in on a conspiracy to put both of them up by the way they did the comp. which from what I have gathered was maybe spinning around 15 times then having to roll a bowling ball down a lane and it went three rounds and Austin is wearing the Veto but they are already saying Julia is on the block against Liz. With 3 people voting since Steve is useless?, JM, Austin And Vanessa are controlling who stays . But yea Austin is more interested in getting each person to go individually talk to Liz and tell her Austin is First Class ? , that has done nothing but protect her and her sister! No sleep tonight . Johnny Mac is so much like Bevis. Maybe he was the voice over!

Liz has been swearing like a sailor at Aus. Saying she can’t even look at him and she is NOT going to sleep with him this week. (just this WEEK???) He is walking around with the Veto necklace on s the LFers….who he things are fat nerds, btw, and saying he’ll take the doghouse! He’s got this!! And it was like Jessie passing the torch to him. I was wondering why everyone was assuming it was either Julia or Liz. Veto ceremony not til Mon usually. But if you are right, then it was part of the comp?? That seems weird. But even if they assumed, they’d be right! Steve isn’t going to put Mama Van up or his buddy JM, so she’s it!

I also wondered if Liz was really that upset or had been waiting for a time and excuse to pick a fight and break up with Aus IN the house so she didn’t have to mess with him once they were out! She did say she wanted nothing to do with him once they left. this would be a surefire way , to do that. And she can play the victim and get everyone sorry for her while she’s at it!!lol FInally some DRAMA! Haven’t really had any since Audrey left. I LOVE It!!!lol

Hey, and she really is a DJ, too, and music lover including taking online contemporary music classes from the Berklee College of Music.
Vanessa quote: “It’s very challenging to make music. It can take 60 to 180 hours of work to make just one 2 to 3 minute song. So there’s a lot that goes into it…So after I had composed about 200 different songs, I realized I needed a way to play them for people…so next step DJ!”

Some of you have stated big brother would be better if we had older house guests l think that would be a problem the youth full of vitality able to but themselves through endurance comp go with out sleep is a great bonus and what makes the show entertaining. I’m going to miss any and all of the house guests left.that leave to me this season has been better than the last three.

@ Star : Did you catch Austin talking about his antics of being Judas in the Comp and that the back flip was for Jessie and a wrestling move or act they do in the ring. Saying Big Brother did this by bringing Jessie in for MC just because Austin was there since supposedly one of Jessie friends he wrestles with at TNT wrestling is Austins best friend and Austin told Jessie to drag him to the wrap Party! I almost hated going to DQ to get a Butterfinger Blizzard but it does feel good on a sore throat. It was funny Steve cranmmed all of his clothes into whatever they give them as HOH and it came back in 4 bundles all neatly folded and cleaned just like Mama does. You know last year I thought I was pissed off at what Frankie said to Caleb / Cody about Victoria Virginity and thought BB could have done a better job of having a more balanced cast and specifically a more interesting competition fair for all, female and male, with unexpected twist as to not let people get too comfortable with being jerks all the time. And I do like a mixture of ages to go along with the 20 year old bikini girls because my eyesight is getting worse and sometimes intelligence in a conversation is pretty sexy! These dingbats get ticked off and they will get a kitchen knife. Austin will probably spend all night in the DR with a Dr. Phill! With Dr. Ruth standing by! Poor Steve is so far behind in development, he just doesn’t understand. Austin crying the blues and Steve says Austin I’m getting A——To ——-Z but what is in between the two? What can I do for you Austin? Lol! Boy! It’s like the twins think everyone else should pull a CLAY and Walk and let them win. If they do a RESET this week like they did to Frankie I’m slicing my throat! The only scenario I think better would be Vanessa and Liz on HOT SEAT just to see Vanessa Squirming!

I thought Liz’s “breakup” with Austin was well timed to get him to show his true love for her by using the POV on her, rather than saving himself. Then all would be well, Austin wouldn’t be falling apart and she and her twin would be safely in the house and Austin would be on the outside, lonely, and looking in.
There are two flaws in that plan. Even if Austin saves Liz he could be replaced by Julia which wouldn’t bother Liz that much as long as she is safe and the second flaw is that she has to actually BE worth more than $500,000 to Austin, rather than just think she is. Maybe Austin has a clue about Liz’s try nature. Maybe. We will see, but I like where this is going.

Earlier tonight, Austin made dinner for the twins. Since they aren’t talking to Austin, Steve took the dinner to the girls in their room but they didn’t eat it. Vanessa said something like that’s weird because they like eating. I thought Vanessa’s comment was funny.

@Randy…no I Didn’t catch all that about Austin/Jessie but it doesn’t surprise me. The BB producers are getting so lazy that it’s coming to light that alot of the HGS know each other! easier for them to just hook up people that are suggested to them than to actually hve to go through applications or anything!! SO Austin knows a friend of Jessie’s and the Twins knew Porche and Porche knew Janelle and I’m sure the list goes on!!!
As to having an older cast of HGS,I agree that it would be next to impossible. They just would’t have the stamina and drama drops significantly as we supposedly mature…lol I would like to see at least a couple thrown into the mix again tho. The *formula* used to be….2 older HGS and 2 black, male and female of each,, at least one gay, usually male and sometimes a female too. They were trying to do a cross section of society and it kept it from being such a HS popularity contest with a little frat boy action thrown in. lol I think they need to go back to their original formula for the show as it seems the farther they stray,the less we like it!!
It seems the comp today was some kind of bowling game or something. The players picked who they wanted to go against one on one. The break down went like this……..
Round 1 Liz vs Steve…. Liz won
R2 Julia vs Austin… Austin won
R3 Johnny vs Liz…. Johnny won
R4 Vanessa vs Austin …..Austin won
R5 Johnny vs Austin… Austin won

Ola beautiful peeps – love Lisa – love this blog – I have a daughter that graduated from Berekeley last December , my oldest, my middle who is at UDub switching from genetics to law and my youngest, the troublemaker, Isabella, who started at Xavier University in August. My middle, Angelica, who goes to UDub is so flipping smart we all love to watch BB – lately my daughters have preferred bob Canada because the contestants aren’t such assholes – -all of my daughters want either Steve or Johnny Mac to smarten up – get rid of a twin and then Vanessa – my eldest, works for high tech head hunters – they love Johnny Mac and think Austin is full of shit about medieval studies – I almost peed myself when Steve said I’m attached to my mom, but not in a siegmund Freud kind of way – and one of the twins said ” oh yeah sigmund and Roy, the ones with those white tigers, I know who they are” – your IQ should be over 50 to be on bb – those twins are mean and crazy stupid!
