Hi, y’all:
So, they had the veto meeting earlier today. Zach took himself off the block. And guess who Christine nominated in his place?
Nicole!
That’s right. There were three people in the house who would have, at one time, perhaps been willing to take Christine to the final two with them. Hayden was one of them. Nicole was one. And the other could well have been Donny because, after all, he’s one of the few people left in the house who hasn’t made a final two deal with anyone as of yet.
So, what did Christine do?
She helped to get Hayden evicted from the house. She nominated Donny for eviction and let everyone know that she was okay with him being the target for this week. And now, she’s gone and nominated her former BFF, Nicole. Christine had been planning on nominating Victoria but, after having conversations with both Derrick and Frankie, she changed her mind.
So, is Christine just an idiot? To be honest, that’s the only solution that really makes sense to me. It’s true that Nicole was mad at her but, at the same time, Nicole also needed an ally in the house. Christine could have apologized for her part in Hayden’s eviction, she and Nicole could have worked together as far as their nominations were concerned, and Christine could have started her own alliance with Nicole, Donny, and Victoria.
Instead, Christine seems to think that Frankie is going to take her to the end. Christine also seems to think that Frankie is going to help her husband become a big star. What Christine doesn’t seem to realize is that she may be a member of the Detonators but, once all of the outsiders have been evicted from the house and the Detonators start to evict each other, chances are that she’ll be the first one to go.
And I know that a lot of us are going to enjoy watching her walk out the door.
So, the situation now is this:
Christine is the HoH.
Donny and Nicole are nominated for eviction.
At first, it seemed like Donny’s days are numbered but, now that Zach has come off the block, Nicole appears to be the new target. So, Donny will get another week to be the house’s oddly passive nice guy. Nicole, meanwhile, will get to go see Hayden in the jury house. And, as for Christine — well, she’s pretty much alone now. She’s just too stupid to realize it.
By the way, speaking of being alone, Christine got a letter from her husband when she became HoH but we didn’t hear her read it on the show. That’s unfortunate because I know that a lot of us have been curious about how her husband has been reacting to Christine closeness with Cody. (Interestingly enough, that’s a huge factor in the game that — if you only watched the CBS show — you would never know was going on.) Well, for those of you who are curious, here is Christine’s letter from her husband:
Dear Stiners,
I want you to know first off that I am so incredibly proud of you. You’re the love of my life and my best friend. I am the most blessed man on Earth that I get to call you mine.
You’ve been in that house for a while now, and every time I think I can’t miss you any more, you always find something cute to do or say that make my heart swell.
I’m counting down the days until I get to kiss you again.
Just remember that whenever you feel stressed out or sad, that I’m out here sending my best wishes and praying for you every day.
You’re my best friend and the love of my life. You’re the most beautiful girl I have ever seen and I miss hearing your laugh in real life.

Hi all, I agree with everyone who say Christine is a fool she doesn’t know the game very well or she would have realized that she’s only a vote for the boys and she will be the one to leave the house when there’s no one else but the detonators left! She can’t possibly think she’s going to the end with any of them! Anyways I can’t wait to see Frankie go home I really would like to see Zack be in the final two with Derrick because they are the only ones really playing the game. Nichole could have done some damage but to little to late. I really don’t know show will go home because it changes from day to day! I won’t venture a guess because I will prolly be wrong! I have noticed over the years that many of the letters fro home sound rather generic and never ever ever redference any actions on BB. That letter could have been written weeks ago. It was nice enough. Could have been written by Caleb’s mother too, the message is the same. Call me cynical.
Speaking of Caleb, swt your coments on his appeance on the show Sunday that you made on the previous page. .. this week Thursday Caleb will have been on slop for four weeks. Four weeks on slop and protein shakes. They really got to stop that crap. If they have to continue with the slop sh*t they shouldn’t be made to do more than two weeks at a time.
Finally about Robin Williams, Good Will Hunting is my fave, along with Dead Poets Society which I had just watched again several weeks ago, the first time again since it first came out. It blew me and my date away. GWH I have fond memories of seeing with my best friend, we talked for hours about it over dinner afterwards. She died several years later unexpectedly, heart attack on the operating table. On April Fools Day. I would like to think that she will be one of the many millions of people waiting to welcome Robin tonight at the Pearly Gates.

I loved Robin in Peter Pan. Saw that not to long ago with my Grandchildren. He was amazing. I used to love to see him on Johnny Carson.. He was on one time with Don Rickles. They had Johnny rolling on the floor laughing. He gave a lot of himself to his audience. God bless him.

@Jeanne I HOPE YOU SEE THIS….if you’re having leg cramps you may need to be on magnesium….you can get magnesium citrate or a chelated magnesium at a health food store and take it at bedtime. you’ll know how much to take when the leg cramps stop….also D3 in the mornings……..everyone just about, should be on it..it’s also great for pain and joint and leg pain…i take 5,000 units every morning. i used to have horrible calf pain and not anymore….none.

Nicole is definitley going home. Sad but true. I just hope seeing Hayden cheers her up. Altho it might not be for long if he gets back into the game. She was crying tonight and Cody was holding her. His sympathy rings so false tho as he rubs Chirs all he time too and is voting her out. She got it back toethre tho and soon was laughing and hiding her feelings. As she should. The BY went on lockdown for a bit tonight. Some people went by shouting thaT they loved ZACH!! When they told him, he looked pretty pleased with himself. Frankie looked greenwith envy!! He said today that he can’t stand it when soemone doesn’t like him. He is SO insecure! But I think alot of actors are.
I see unspoken things in Tim’s letter to Chris. It’s very loving and he used nicknames, which is intimate. But the line tha said it all for me was…Don’t forget me!!! He didn’t want to come right out and say what he was thinking or fearing in a letter that was going to be made public, but that was enough for me. It spoke volumes. But he is really in love with her and I get the feeling she runs the roost, so I doubt he will even hold it agaisnt her when she gets home. Lucky girl. Cody doesn’t want you hun. Hang on to what you got!!!

I’d hate to see Nicole go. Donny is a nice guy but a sleeper. Yes it would be some comfort to see her and Hayden get back together but if one of them goes back into the house they will be separated again. In a perfect world Donnie would be going out the door Thursday and Hayden would win the reentry contest, so him and Nicole could possibly do some damage. I don’t see that happening though.
My favorite Robin Williams movies are, Mrs. Doubtfire, Awakenings, Aladdin and I can’t think of the movie that was a real life dramatization on this Doctor setting up a free clinic. I also liked the movie with Al Pacino where Robin was a serial killer, I think it was called Insomnia.

Star – I too laughed when the HGs were sent into the house because of people outside the house shouting out ”I love you Zach’. You could tell Frankie was furious and having a very hard time covering up his jealousy! I am sure Frankie thought everyone in America loved him and hearing this was a big shock to his ego. Frankie is using his sister’s fame to help him win the game and is always shouting out how much he loves her, when in fact, I believe he is extremely jealous of her. He didn’t make it on Broadway and now seeing his sister rise to fame is more than his big ego can take. He is a selfish little boy who only loves himself!!! I have to say I am glad I taped BBAD last night, as it will be fun watching Frankie’s reaction again! Unfortunately this will probably make Frankie campaign very hard to get Zach out of the house.

Mornin’ BB fans: Just a note to say I’m not surprised Zach has fans floating around the house. He is darling in a devilish sorta way with a bit of a mean slant. Sometimes he’s cute and others not so much. Not a fan myself. Still wish Nic would stay but then Donny would go. That would be ok with me since he doesn’t seem to have any strategic game play going on at all.
As for Christine, I personally don’t think she’s a likeable person, at least on this show. Does anyone know if the letters they read are written before the show even starts since they seem to be so generic? As for her hubby thinking she’s beautiful – Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and I believe she’s beautiful to him. That’s all that matters.

RIP Robin Williams. He was absolutely the best at improve comedy. If you have not seen his interview by James Lipton on “The Actors Studio”, you missed a lot. (two hilarious hours) He had someone in the audience laughing so much she passed out and the paramedics had to minister to her. They edited that portion out of course, but Lipton announced it on a subsequent show. I will miss you Robin.

@ Jeanne, I had severe leg cramps for a year could not get to sleep if I did I was woke right back up because of them. I have been on Potassium 10 meq and no more leg cramps since starting the medication. If you go on it just be warned IF you should drink OJ or eat a banana don’t take the med. I made that mistake and was sick for days.
As for Robin Williams – to his family and friends I send my sympathy to you. I watched him on Mork & Mindy and loved him as Mrs. Doubtfire. I watched it with my kids (now grown) at least once a week they all loved it too. He will be missed.
Now off to BB – Christine is an IDIOT from day one I had my doubts about her loyalty to anyone but herself. I will be OVER THE MOON when she is gone. She should have been gone long ago. If her husband has a brain cell in his brain he should realize since she is all over Cody she has NO RESPECT for him OR for their VOWS.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, as I just read it online an hour ago or so. Apparently Frankie has been sleeping in the HOH room this week and Christine, the actual HOH is sleeping downstairs with the rest of the HG’s.
In so many words, Frankie told Christine that he’s the reason that she’s still HOH (for winning that comp solo) so he wanted to sleep up there, to which she agreed. I guess she was worried about the rest of the HG’s would be thinking her and Frankie would be plotting all night or give the appearance of being closer to each other, so she decided to NOT sleep in the HOH room this week….basically giving it to Frankie.
Frankie sure seems to be getting awfully pampered since his BOB win and talking about his sister and his *ahem* “fame”. I’m not really on the “hate Christine” band wagon. I don’t really care much about her to be honest. I just thought that was kind of a weird thing to allow….giving up your HOH room. Perhaps she thinks it’s a good “game move” but I can’t see it helping her much at all.
Also, I was looking at the jokers feed on Twitter. I guess either during BBAD or the live feeds late last night, some conversation about flying came up or something. Anyway, Frankie said he preferred flying first class opposed to flying in a private plane. Um….yeah….OK….that’s about enough of this guy.
So he’s from a rich family, has a celeb sister, talks about donating all the money to building schools (I don’t buy that shit, he’s way to greedy/vain for that IMO) and now he’s all but commandeered the HOH room? In my best Chandler Bing from Friends voice, “Could you PAINT a bigger target on your back??”
I’m going to be 40 in a few months. I don’t wanna come off like I’m some old fuddy duddy that isn’t up on things, but man….these kids today! 😉 I mean really, what a bunch of self involved, self entitled ego maniacs! If it wasn’t Zach bragging about all the Twitter followers he’s gonna have or Calib’s delusions of dating a celeb, or Victoria and her celb worship. I get it to a point. The day and age we live in now, you can get “famous” for doing nothing. A show like BB and be a spring board for some.
I think I’m finally understanding what’s going on this year. Yes, people want to win the prize. But many have figured out over the years of the show, if you make it to jury, you still get paid a weekly stipend, so you cash in for not playing the game AND get some camera time still. If you act outlandish enough in the house, but don’t completely offend America, you may get another 15 minutes of fame after leaving the house. They always have those Reality conventions where fans can meet the players….I’m sure that weighs in on them too. These younger kids are so caught up in the possibility of fame, I think it may have finally took its toll on the game.
I still enjoy the show and I will watch till it’s cancelled, but man…it sure isn’t the same BB I fell in love with many years ago. I’m sure I’m not alone on this one.

My thoughts about Christine are this: We can’t help how we look ~ even though we can improve our looks with make-up, hair style, staying away from tattoo parlors, etc. 🙂 ~ but we can control how we act. IMHO Christine is one of the worst house guests ever on BB. Her actions are so outrageous that it is really hard to like her (I rarely feel that way about anybody) ~ my last thought about looks is when you love someone, looks are not important. I think about people in movies and tv that are not good looking, but you look past their looks because you enjoy their talent. You all are probably too young to remember Jack Palance. I used to think he was really ugly, but after watching his movies, I didn’t even think about his looks anymore. So, it’s not what is on the outside that counts ~ God looks at the heart! I so agree with Mary Price & Sir Rock.
I started the season liking Christine, but aligning with the men was her fatal move. I will give her the benefit of the doubt & call her game play EXTREME NAIVETE. In my 20’s I was more trusting & gullible … you live & learn.
She claims to be a super fan, so she should know better. Somehow, she truly believes following the guys is a good game move …. NOT SO!
Sorry for Nicole today. She, too, is so young & wears her feelings on her sleeve.

Ever since Derrick got paranoid and decided Nichole lies to everyone (I can’t recall an occasion where she has been untruthful) and convinced Cody that they were better off with Frankie and Christine, the two known biggest liars and connivers in the house, Nichole’s fate has pretty much been determined. I have a great deal of respect for her for making moves in the game this summer where the motto seems to be “How can I get through my HOH without blood on my hands?”
I have no respect for Donny’s “game” when it is more important to him to go to bed at his usual time, keeping to his schedule, rather than to adjust and talk game or even socialize with the other HGs. One word, Donny, assimilate.
Frankie is simply intolerable. Even more so, to me, than Caleb.
Another Grodner season. And we will survive it.

I feel badly for Nicole, love her genuiness; but hate her annoying accent.

I think Caleb is dreamy hunky, reportedly ultra-conservative, Amber-alert obsessed but semi-game savvy.
Cody is dreamy but cuddles too easily and is definitely floating.
Frankie is full of himself and delusional that is sister is anything > “E-List” status (one level below “D-List”. Gay is OK but self-obsessed is butt-ugly.
I admire Donny for his hard work in challenges but his accent/style turns my stomach. I think that’s why Beverly Hillbilly episodes were only 30 minutes long. A civilized person can only take so much.
Derrick is playing good game but if he gets backdoor blindsided I will laugh oh so hard!!!!

I had heard about Frankie taking over the HOH too. He said it was totally his doing that Chris was HOH so he deserved it. As he so deserves everything in life handed to him on a silver platter. Like BB. NOT!!! lol Chris decided to sdleep downstairs so people don’t associate ehr with him. She is in a new alliance now with Der, Cody, Vic and herself and don’t want them to not trust her. It’s funny what a pariah he has become adn doesn’t seem to know it. Nic got dragged into the BH with him a day or so ago, left the door open adn got out as quick as a rabbit as SHE didn’t wnt people thinking she was connected to him either OR have him be able to make up thins she had said to him. For some reason, he still thinks eveyeone loves and is following him. Delusional!!! I wonder if he is like this in his real life?? Not sure frankie knows where fake frank begins and real frank ends.

Who could forget that voice. 🙂 Frankie preferring first class, I agree with deb, he can’t be recognized on a private jet. Can’t you just see him strutting around in first class and in the airport and people looking at him like he’s coo coo for coa coa puffs and he thinks he’s being idolized. God he loves himself a lot!

My take is this…Nicole or Donny is voted out, OK. but wait it just could Nichole or Hayden voted back into the house as most people liked those two as they seemed more genuine. Donny is a great guy but is not a game player. I feel Frankie is pretty much described in earlier posts. If derrick was back doored that would be a “hoot”!

Miss you all, been a crazy few days work wise and not much house action to comment on, seems everything has been stated to death.
I do feel sorry for Nicole, so tried to play a good game, just never stood a chance being on the outside of the bomb squad. I’d rather see Donny go, and I can’t recall who commented that he has had a failure to assimulate, but that is it in a nutshell. He’s good at comps, God bless him for that, but I can think of no one who has ever made it to the end by going to bed no later than midnight every night. I wish BBAD was actually filmed from like 1a-5a, that’s when all the action happens.
I’ve heard some speculation that two players could be returning looking at the end date and number of players left in the game. Can you imagine a refreshed Nicole and Hayden coming back with a vengence? That would be good!
I still think this is Derricks game hands down, but it would be great to see him manuever a twist like that. He really is so skilled on the inter-personal interactions, it’s awesome to watch him work people into coming to the conclusions he wants by making them think they are their own. The nice thing is I do believe he has a genuine heart, he has not been malicious, and he hasn’t taken his eye off the end goal.
I don’t care for the comments on Christines appearance. Who cares? It’s the content of the character… Now granted that is lacking. I don’t think she’s naive, but I think she has a lot to learn about respecting her marriage. She has had the goal all along to be the last girl, and there’s a chance she will, but the guys will just Brigade her in the end.
Glad to see Victoria hasn’t fallen into Frankie’s pocket like he was hoping. Funny how she can be savy and naive at the same time. She knows her role, she’s playing dumb, but also is dumb.
Frankie, Frankie, Frankie… Your 15 minutes are up. We are all over your entitled arse. And while the boys want to keep you for thier voting block, no one is going to cry over your departure.
Caleb is turning into a voice of calm and reason, but I still can’t take the ego he has. Plus, it doesn’t seem like there is a reality show out there he hasn’t tried out for. Sir Rock, we are the same age, and I agree, kids these days… Think life is about instant fame.. Get a job, work hard, surround yourself with people who care about who you are not what you are.. To borrow an old phrase, youth is wasted on the young.
I love that Zach got the shout-outs, eat that Frankie! Hoping the Jenga game and badmitten give him enough to do to keep him from inventing trouble for himself for the next week or so.
Is it just me, or is Cody giving Victoria a run for “Most Valuable Floater”? He’s cute and sweet and a loyal voter, but not adding much to the game in any significant way..
So I guess this turned into my “State of the HG’s” address. 😀
RIP Robin.. My earliest TV memories are watching Mork and Mindy as a family, even had the lunchbox. Can’t pick a favorite as everything he did was amazing. So glad we watched the show he had this last year, it was so fun to see him on the small screen again. All I can say is “Oh Captain, my Captain”.. A defining movie for my generation.

OK Peeps, as promised…I finally saw some info on the BB air dates and times for the conflicting NFL games. I noticed they didn’t say if it was eastern time or what, but the date is the most important thing at this point. I copied and pasted the info below. Later!
We have some important information regarding schedule changes that will occur towards the end of the season due to football programming. Things are usually done a bit differently during the last few weeks of the show but this year’s schedule changes are pretty significant. Here are the dates that you will want to make down on your calendars to make sure that you don’t miss an episode:
Thursday 9/4: final Thursday airing (9-10pm)
Tuesday 9/9: (8-9pm)
Wednesday 9/10: special eviction night (8-9pm)
Sunday 9/14: final Sunday airing (8-9pm)
Tuesday 9/16: (8-9pm)
Wednesday 9/17: (8-9pm)
Friday 9/19: (8-9pm)
Wednesday 9/24: Big Brother season finale (9:30-11pm)
It’s a bit confusing but hopefully this list will clear up any questions you have with the end of season schedule changes! We’ll continue to update you if anything else changes.

Star – I too would like to add a direct reply feature to each post, but then the various comments would develop into threads and threads of threads and the wonderful blog that LM created for us would evolve into a big ball of yarn that nobody could follow. I think I speak for a majority of us that we want to be able to read all the posts, skipping those that swerve off topic or are offensive.
I get around this by keeping another window open where I can write all my replys or comments while they are still in my mind. (I use Sticky Notes, but Notepad or Wordpad works just as well) If I want to reply immediately, I skip to the end, paste my comment, then go back to where I left off. I use a PC so your mileage may vary if you use a tablet. And yes, the inability to delete ones own posts is annoying,

I appreciate this blog so much. I became hooked to Big brother after dark when evildick would hold conversations with cameras while the whole house slept. The current season has me pondering. Derrick using his career skills makes me wondering what he told folks as to his occupation. Cody snuggling his way to a paycheck. Christine has a laugh that makes me want to grrrr. Donny is Donnie. They better figure out because they are underestimating him. Frankie is like watching a fascinating film. He has too many faces. Zach is my favorite. If I remember correctly Zach did say he hated everyone at the beginning and I was intrigued as to how that would effect his game. Victoria floats. At least she has Derrick to talk to because everybody was mean at first. Caleb. One would call him a stalker with the Amber situation. He really reminded me of a twelve years old girl. With his obsession. Now he is all about the numbers. Soon the numbers will split. Sorry this was too long. But I am glad I am not the only kindle user!!!

Craig Long…..I didn’t think of *threads*. Not good. I get frutrated with those on boards so I usually don’t even go to them. It wasn’t for me that i asked anyway. I have been here for so long I am totally used to using it as is and I agree with your reasoning. It’s just that others were saying they couldn’t read and remember who said what. I never thought of using notes on the side like you do. Good idea! But I just read and if I really want to get something down, I remember the post I was on and go down to comments. I don’t respond to every single person , but you obviously can’t. And this year is NOTHING! So many seasons we have had anywere from 1-00 to 300 posts/day. Can’t say I miss that tho. It got to be like homework!!!lol It would literally take hours to get thru it all. This is much simpler.

joy….I loved watching ED out in he BY at night all by himself, smoking away, doing monologues with the cameras. lol That was the FIRST year of BBAD. That was a total game changer for me!!! I didn’t have LFS then and BBAD took it to a whole new level. How anyone jut watches the TV show and thinks they know what is going on is beyond me!!
Love all your HGS analysies. Zach is my favorite too and I thought I would hate him at first. But I don’t see him winning it as Frankie is his BRO and he will pull him down with him. Derrick has this pretty much sewn up right now but…..BB is never that easy. Plenty of time for things to go awry. Especially if Hayden or Nic get back in the house. We are only a the midpoint. Lots could and WILL happen, I’m sure!! 😉
