Happy Independence Day!
So, here’s the basics of what happened last night with both the live show and the HoH competition:
The Live Show started off on a grim note. Julie was not smiling. The audience was clearly hostile whenever Aaryn, David, Jeremy, or Gina Marie appeared on screen. Though CBS is still refusing to broadcast any of the remarks that we all know have been made in the house, it was also obvious that Aaryn is no longer going to be getting the whole country girl edit that she got in the previous two episodes. Obviously, CBS wants to take advantage of her new role as villain without admitting that they’re basically giving a spoiled, homophobic racist a chance to win $500,000.
While we didn’t get to see any footage of Aaryn saying any of the stuff that caused Zephyr to drop her, we did get to see a lot of Jeremy. We saw him making out with Kaitlin and we saw a little of fight with Amanda over the red wine. We did not see him wiping his ass with Elissa’s hat. Again, it’s not that I would want to see that but CBS again seems to want to take advantage of Jeremy’s villain status without telling viewers the full story of what a disgusting bully Jeremy truly is.
Then it was time to vote. Jessie gave a rather bland speech. David gave a typically David speech. Elissa — foolishly, I think — says, “Nobody comes between me and my Big Brother game…” After those three speeches, I would have been happy to see any of them go home.
The voting breaks down like this:
Amanda — David
Aaryn — Elissa
Nick — David
Candice — Elissa
Spencer — David
Kaitlin — Elissa
Helen — David
Howard — David
Gina Marie — Elissa
Judd — David
Jeremy — Elissa
Andy — David
When Aaryn cast her vote to evict Elissa, the entire studio audience booed and you could tell by the shocked look on Aaryn’s face that she heard them. (And Aaryn later told Gina Marie and Jeremy that she heard the booing.) Though a production manager then went, “Shhhhhh!” and got the audience to shut up, the audience pretty much screwed their favorite Elissa with all of their cheering and booing. The house is already jealous that Elissa is Rachel’s sister and most of them are worried that she’s going to win MVP every week. By cheering and booing, the audience pretty much confirmed those fears.
(I don’t really blame the audience as much as I blame CBS and the show’s producers who really don’t seem to understand just how much controversy this season of Big Brother has stepped into).
But anyway, David was voted out on a 7-5 vote. Aaryn looked angry. I’m tempted to say that David looked shocked but David always kinda looks like that. Julie attempted to interview David. David didn’t have much to say. He did ask who the MVP that nominated him was. Oddly, Julie refused to tell him.
Then, it was time to pick a new HoH and guess who won?
Aaryn!
Guess how she won?
By cheating!
You can find the full details in the comments section of the previous post but basically it went like this:
The HGs were separated into teams of two. (Even though the teams were supposedly selected at random, it seems convenient that Aaryn got to work with Jeremy.) This is one of those fill-the-jugs competitions. One teammate fills his cup with barbecue sauce. He then pours the sauce into a cup being held by the second teammate. The second teammate then runs down a slippery lane where she pours whatever sauce she has into a big jug and whichever team fills the jug first wins. And then the 2 people on the team decide which one of them is going to be HoH.
(At least I think that’s how it worked. Unfortunately, since the HGs are incapable of going 50 minutes without cursing, a lot of Julie’s explanation ended up getting muted.)
During the competition, instead of pouring from one cup to another, Jeremy and Aaryn simply switched out cups, which allowed them to finish first. Jeremy allowed Aaryn to be HoH because that way, he can still compete for the title next week.
Now, seriously, this cheating — video of which is available on YouTube — would not have been tolerated on any of the other big reality shows. If Aaryn and Jeremy had tried to do this on Survivor, you better believe Jeff Probst would have called them out and disqualified them from the rest of the competition. If this had happened on the Amazing Race, they would have ended up with a 3 hour penalty at the check-in mat and Phil himself would have told them how disappointed he was in them.
However, on Big Brother 15, cheating like this wins Aaryn the key to the HoH room and the right to nominate two HGs who didn’t cheat for eviction!
Or, as Gina Marie put it once she was up in the HoH room with Aaryn and Jeremy, this is Aaryn’s way of giving the middle finger to everyone who booed her. Aaryn added, “Suck my dick, America” and, as reported in the comments section of the previous post, asked America why they would want to send her home because, “what else are you going to look at all summer?”
BLEH!
Anyway, it is sounding like Aaryn is planning on nominating Elissa and Helen for eviction. Hopefully, this week’s MVP will nominate either Gina Marie or Jeremy.
And that, sad to say, is the current state of affairs in the Big Brother house.
Oh well. At least we get fireworks tonight!

PS… I do agree that Amazing Race & Survivor would enforce competition rules. My point on the other page (in case anyone misunderstood.. and it may have been vague).. was that the things these people are saying we see/hear because we have 24/7 access. I bet other reality shows have similar people saying similar things… but we never see that.
Doesn’t make it better.. but BB is under a much bigger microscope.

Good Morning, Oh My Goodness this season is driving me crazy! I really am trying to talk myself into not watching it anymore this year. CBS really has shocked me by not listening to America and taking the HOH key away from those two cheaters, or even pulling Aaryn from the house. She clearly was not raised properly and has no respect for her fellow house guests. There is NO WAY she could not have known that all of AMERICA would hear the horrible things she was saying. “CBS DO THE RIGHT THING and take that HOH Key from Aaryn! And while you are doing that, stop her from saying hurtful slurs that directly affect ALL of AMERICA! Geez, it’s 2013 who in the world still raises their children to use such language and to have so much hate inside them?
For me, BB is not fun to watch anymore – I think CBS has not paid attention to what America really wants to see AND hear….. for them it is all about bad drama and money. This year they chose to put in a “Frat House” full of girls and boys in HEAT. They didn’t really mix up the cast (age wise) as they have before. CBS needs to Go Back to years before and see why this show became so popular.

@JT…the difference being with Survivor and Amazing Race is, they know when the cameras are on them. As with BB, they should be careful what they say all the time (24/7). As I stated before, keep your views private and not let the world know your feelings, or pay the price.

What a waste of airtime. Can’t believe that CBS condones cheating. Every other show would give a penalty or remove the awards. When BBCanada had a similar situation they took away the HOH which made the game even spicier. It is such a disappointment and the worse cast ever and I have been watching since BB1. Cheaters, cheaters, cheaters!!!!! Last night was the pits seeing Aaryn cheat and win. Her parents should be so ashamed of her behavior. Now I wish I had gone to the grocery story like I wanted to in the first place. At least David is gone but this racist thing has got to be addressed by CBS……sooner than later CBS! There were still two You Tube videos of the racist slurs on the You Tube site as of last night. Disgusting.

Cheating is cheating. Whoever was in charge of casting must be hiding. OMG, this is shameful. The twists of new rules and Rachael’s sister was good. Others have been penalized for not following the rules why the change? Elissa lost out on HOH because she spelled 2 words instead of one word but because Aaryn and Jeremy are too arrogant and stupid to follow the rules, the rules are ignored? Maybe the show’s name should be changed to LET’S INSULT EVERYONE’S INTELLIGIENCE.

This season of BB is ridiculous! I’ve thought about purchasing the live feeds but after last night’s HOH winner getting the key by cheating, I’ve decided to save my time and money. Why on earth would I choose to support such shameful behavior? I believe we should all boycott CBS until they get their act together. CBS you can and should do something about this. It’s not too late to strip Aaryn & Jeremy of their win – next show airs on Sunday. There’s plenty of time and opportunity to award the second place (non-cheating) team the HOH. Aaryn is a spoiled little brat and I’m appalled that CBS would choose to award such blatant disregard for the rules. My 9 year old granddaughter is a huge fan of Big Brother. What kind of message is this sending to our youth? It’s NEVER ok to cheat. We certainly don’t want to raise another generation of Aaryns. I’ve had to explain to her that pretty on the outside does not make you a good person – one must also be pretty on the inside.

She was short with him and I don’t understand why ? He’s a contestant and she usually answers those types of questions.
I loved the fact that he couldn’t spell one word but was very proud of himself, hummmm hope I don’t run into him in Malibu today.
Honestly their ignorance is at times entertaining . Jeremy is a BIG BULLY and really mean to the women , I am sure it has worked for him in life so far but now the world can see it.

CBS doesn’t seem to understand that purposeful cheating would get you tossed out of the simplest card game. Racism should not b tolerated. What’s up!!!!

Perhaps the production staff at CBS should be the ones to be penalized for not taking action on this racist/bigoted chatter from the houseguests. If nothing else, penalize the houseguests at competition time for their remarks – or better yet, have them sit in the penalty box for the upcoming HOH competition. Paula Deen has been crucified for something she said years and years ago – it’s time to take action against those that condone this behavior today. I’m so glad to hear Aaryn and GinaMarie have been fired for their comments. Kudos to these companies for taking a stand. Also, if the producers condone cheating – then fire them and get someone on the staff with a backbone. Wake up CBS – America is watching …… and so is the world!!

OMG. Shoot me now. Another GD week of Aaryn spewing her filth? I just hope to hell that whomever the BBMVP puts up goes over who she nominates. I don’t know how many of you (if anyone) watched the inaugural Canadian version of BB over the winter, but they DID disqualify contestants for cheating. And one was a HOH comp! I think the Amercian BB needs to take a page from the Canadian version and disqualify her GD ass. BTW, who came in second? In case you can’t tell, I’m a Canadian. 🙂

Every season thre have been disliked people in the show “Evil D”, Dr. Will”. ( that was Mike Boogie’s friend’s name right? And the girl whom used the other girl to clean the toilet with her toothbrush! No t great with names, obviously! But…… Never has there been and stuckup racist UGLIER person in the house than AARYN! Sorry don’t Get live fees, just rotten version of BBAD on the commercialized station! Seriously if they do not address the CHEATING factor on the show last night CBS may loose many fans! I almost think they are keeping her because she is controversial! But, as I said before other houseguest are dislike, but I don ‘t think an entire fan group has insisted on removing a person from the show such a Aaryn has been. Jeremy is a jerk, but? Many players are in the game and they win, leg me navktrack a second they have not technically cheated so….. I stand corrected I would prefer to see the cheaters out anoxic necessary bring back hair boy!? Really disappointed with this season and it will probably be the last!

Also, it’s understandable that all the HGs are having to go upstairs to kiss Aaryn’s ass right now. It’s smart game play since Aaryn is going to be putting two people up for eviction but still, it’s upsetting to read about people like Howard having to go to the HoH room and pretend that they didn’t vote David.
Aaryn, by the way, is still trying to figure out who did vote for David. Last time I checked, I think she’s still under the impression that Candice voted for him. (Candice, of course, voted for Elissa.)

Starfish, no one has nominated anyone yet. Those were just my guesses based on discussions I heard.
Last I saw, Elissa & Helen were the front runners with Candice’s name getting thrown in as well.
Also, my guess that Elissa would nominate GM was because Elissa seems to be leading polls for MVP… and some of the people that saved her think they should get her to put up GM (if she is MVP). Jeremy’s name also gets thrown in here by Amanda… but MC will try to steer her away from that.
Lisa & Sue, Hard to say who was 2nd place as they didn’t finish. But it did look like Andy & Elissa were very close. And other HGs even made comments about how they didn’t know who would win between those 2 duos.

Also, I think it was Craig Long who wanted to know about Spencer’s remarks in context. I can’t help you there but he is referring to Elissa as a c*** and described her speech as c***ish. Really? There are so many other words that could be used. His vocabulary isn’t that limited.
I really didn’t know if I’d like Spencer at the beginning – and I didn’t really. Most people seemed to give him a pass so I reserved judgment. He keeps telling Helen not to talk to anyone but him, presumably to protect his alliance, and then comes up with this. I’m going back to my original assessment. I just don’t like or trust him.
BTW, Aaryn called Elissa the same thing but I expect no less out of cheap white trash like her.
Helen and Candice had a conversation last night and they were pretty close to figuring out the “boys” alliance. Candice isn’t stupid and we know Helen is extremely bright. It would be interesting if Aaryn throwing them in the have not room got them to really talk and figure out some of the strategies and alliances in the house. They might be able to pull in Amanda and McCrae, giving A&Mc yet another alliance, and Andy, too. If Andy didn’t waffle so much. He, of course would tell the boys. He does seem to tell everyone everything. Judd could be added, too. He’s another loner in the house. I really don’t trust Andy at all. I think he’s pretty expendable.
What a hoot, telling Aaryn to be more sensual. They can’t make us like her, she’s lost her job already, I’m not sure I get the point. To make her come off as a tramp? Why?

Okay, just catching up. Been behind since Survivor because of a loss in the family so going to give a comment on the show so far. First of all, I hate that giving Ellisa the MVP just because of her sister – she did nothing to earn it but have her sister win on a previous show which was so very stacked in the favor of returning players in having them first on a super ready-made team and also teaming them up in pairs of two. Had Rachael been there alone, I doubt if she would have won. Had only team Brachael been there, I doubt if she would have won. Had she been there alone with a team of returning players but without team Brachael, it is unlikely she would have won. She’s great at competitions, but she is a volcano of uncontrolled emotions. If we are going on game play and competitions, McCrae should have won MVP since he was the ONLY winner. McCrae has made me laugh since day one of this competition, but I disagree with his handling of Elissa. My very first thought when she won MVP and came to her was to make her a member of “The Moving Company” selling her off to the other members as the 7th member and bringing her to the final 7 so they could use her possible MVP vote to their advantage. After Jeremy went off on his stupid wine rant, I then thought, drop him to the 7th position and move Elissa up to the 6th. Surprisingly, it was Spencer who realized the true value of having Elissa around kept under control – for that alone, I think he deserves MVP, unfortunately, for looking like a troll in a world that idolizes looks, I doubt if he’ll get it. I think the eviction was wasted on David. He did terrible so far in most of the competitions, including the physical soda can one. His brain is like a pea and he was so easily manipulated. One of the other stronger players would have been a better choice or even Aaryn since she had the most control over him. Well, I don’t see the other feeds so I can’t comment on that other stuff – but yes, if Jeremy and Aaryn did cheat, they should lose HoH, had this been one of the other shows, they would have been forced to start over with empty jars or a time penalty.

God I love that so much. IMO, we need to see/hear all of this, no matter how much we individually Love it or Hate it, to make it all go together to be OUR show. I may have bashed previous HGs like we all do, but without the Ronnies, the Natalies, the Chimas, the Rachels, the Ambers and on and on, but what good is anything without a perceived villain?

The sad, profound Truth, IMO, is that we are knee-deep in a nation of cheaters. The guys on Wall Street lost money, then got bailed out by a government simply printing money, and then they get big bonuses again, despite the cheating. The Gore-Bush election debacle in Florida may not have exactly been ‘cheating,’ but it stunk. Our Found Fathers would hate what we’ve devolved into…different rules for different people, usually catering to the rich and well-connected. MLB players took steroids and broke home run records = cheating. Then they banned it, now they just changed the molecular structure to get their ‘juice” = cheating. I could go on and on, but this is a nasty part of our culture.

I want to add that the MVP vote was cast off of the first episode where only McCrae won anything and no one really did anything much besides that and Elissa’s only claim was to have a sister who was on this show before. I love the chatter, the back and forth between us Blog Fans! I hope not to anger anyone. If so I apologize in advance. I did want to clarify one thing to: TheKhanKubla…. I was not a big Racahel fan, not even sure how she spells it. But, Elissa did have that advantage of having her sister in the house before and I believe that is the reason that she won the first MVP. Not her superior game play. I just made the comment that she really had NOT done anything to “rock the house” and being the sis, of another player gave America the “feelings” that they may just give her a chance! She is not a favorite for me, but there are some others aforementioned that are CHEATING, against BB RULES, and are simply unattractibe purely due to their actions!
I love the show hate the schedule right now, but CRAVE the debate opportunities we have here! Love to see others whom agree and disagree with me. Don’t know why I felt the need to explain myself. But ….. It is “I”!

Hi! I hope everyone had (or is still having, as the case may be out on the West Coast) a good 4th. My sisters and I just got back from seeing the fireworks and I decided to check in and see if there were any “fireworks” in the house tonight. And apparently, there was! Lol. So. Much. Drama.

Since this is the first I’ve heard of a Jessie / Judd pairing and it has not been mentioned on Jokers and Elissa is pretty ostracized by the other HGs, added to Jessie’s desperate need for attention and craving to be in a showmance (she’s the prettiest of them all, dontcha know!), I’m guessing she made this up to get attention, cause drama, let McCrae know she was available, and suck up to Aaryn by attacking Elissa.

Everyone here agrees on most things but bring something personal to the party either through humor or up-to-the-miute- reports or just with their opinions! Never boring and always informative!!! I can’t ever remember a BB season where national news like CNN, OMG, TZM and others have been talking…seriously…about the goings on in the house! I am sure in years past they labeled this a stupid reality show and didn’t pay any attemtion to it. So , obnoxius as they are ,the HGS are getting us attention we never had before. @Princess…I think you are absolutely right about Jessie! She is SO not the center of attention by any means and supposedly isn’t used to that. The NERVE of these people!! So she is just tryng to stir shit up out of nothing. t’s pretty desparate and hard to watch!
This season seems to have very strong, abrasive players and very weak, quiet ones. I mean they all do but there is nothing inbetween this year!!! I never hear much from Spencer or Judd..not that I understand him when he does talk.. Elissa is SO shy and quiet. Her only spotlight is because of Rachel because on her own she is dull and not very bright sounding at least. And the other plaerys , like the Blondterage and the MC get all the spotlight!
I think Nick is the one to watch this year. He is pulling alot of strings and has alliances with everyone! He tries to play neutral and laid back but his yes are always going and you know he is scheming in his sleep! He reminds me alot of Dan. In looks and gameplay. I wonder if tht is wy he was chosen??
Just finished watching BBAD too. Wish I had something new to report but alas…..YAWN!!!! Just Jessie’s freak out really. Otherwise it’s SNAFU!!!lol

I had forgotten about that. You want America to like you and think good things about you because you know you’ll do better in the game and way better career-wise when you leave the house. (and Aaryn has always been clear that she’s on this show to further herself and her career/fame.) Yet the way you choose to do that is reveal such ugliness of character that CBS must issue a disclaimer distancing itself from your statements, you say repeatedly on live feed with cameras all around that America is

I thought it was really telling when she read her HoH letter from her step-sister (?) and the salutation was Dear Princess. In your dreams! You may think you own that title, but a real princess has a brain and knows how to act like a lady. (If she has to.)

Yes, there are no “right” opinions but there is a thing called dignity & self-respect. They don’t have any! Yes, we love to hate the Rachells, Jeremy’s, etc but they are actual villains in our eyes that we love to hate and it’s great fun; whereas the behavior of Aaryn & co is just plain horridly offensive. Princess… I did watch from 2:20 till 2:45.
GinaMarie handed something to Aaryn. Aaryn asked where she found it… GM said on the floor when Nick was cleaning up his clothes.
I had to watch from another camera view to see…… It was a plastic luggage tag with the initials D. G. on it (David Girton).
So that was a non-issue.
But GM was upset realizing Nick wasn’t on her side… maybe that means they think Spencer voted with them? I know Aaryn thinks that. they just aren’t 100% who the 5th vote was. It was Candice of course… but they don’t believe her.
