OK…so I am going to be honest. I have not been watching Big Brother tonight. The reason is I almost do not have to since the best information is contained in all of the comments to these blog posts! 🙂
First off I would like to appologize for the site being down tonight. It seems that since there is a live HoH competiton that after the show on CBS is done….people want to know what is going on. Well….everyone came to Big-Brother-Blog.com and thus crashed my server. Well…not so much crashed it but made my hosting company so worried that they had to suspend my site for melting the server. After 3 hours of phone calls and chatting I was able to tell them to bring them back up. I am going to be upgrading the servers to make sure these last 7 days are outage free!
As far as the HoH competition, I know the following (and since I am not watching could be WAY WRONG). Daniele is out and broke a rabbit. (I have no clue what that even means) I know Zach and Dick are at each others throats and still each have a hand on a key. I know Dick had to piss really bad and almost wet himself.

I was glad when Dani used the PoV on Dick..even though it was a given Jameka was leaving, Dani made a symbolic statement since her dad had used a PoV to protect her. It was a surprise to Dick that Dani would make the gesture. He seemed really really happy. I thought it was cool of Dani!
Also, glad we got to see the SH tonight finally! We may get a surprise and the HGs vote for the most strategic player versus emotions.

I don’t believe Evil is getting squirted on more they just incessantly showed him more because he won’t shut the f@ck up. I felt VERY badly for Dani as the poor thing was clearly shivering violently and horribly hypothermic. I hated to see her spirit break but thats one disadvantage to having near 0% body fat. I think she immediately headed for a long warm shower. I hope Zack won tonight’s competition because an Evil-Dani finale will be BORing.
If Zach makes it to the final 2 Zach wins. EVERYONE else HATES Dick and they only dislike Zach. The HGs should remember that Zach sensibly tried to get Jessica & Co. to evict Evil instead of AmB(OOHOOHOO)her. Jessica in her gut knew that would be the smartest move but she let dumbass Eric sway her to evict Amber. That was the dumbest decision in BB history next to all of Jameka’s dumb decisions (no HOH competitions times 5, saving Jenijerk…)

Dani is out of round one…currently, Dick & Zack remain standing on their ‘carrots’ both soaking wet and Dick is shaking pretty good. They started at 5:30 pm PST so it has been six + hours.
While the rabbit machine remains broken (not having to hop over the bunny), they still have the faux rain/thunder storms…no bathroom breaks, no food, and each with one hand still on the big key.

Dick is NOW jogging in place – he must be getting numb – the water increased even more – he’s zoning out! WOW it’s like a hurricane right in his face!
He looks over at Zach – continues to jog – hope he doesn’t loose his footing – he’s a strong fighter!! Rain continues relentlessly!!! He continues to try to warm up by jogging – his hand is shivering! Dani continues to look on and encourage him. The water increases even MORE – Dick is jogging – don’t see Zach – his hat protects him. NOW the water is INdirectly hitting Dick – as though to give him a break. Zach is jogging LIGHTLY in place – seems VERY confident. Dick is now still – jogging again. The way he’s jobbing he could loose his footing easily.
OMG the water is increasing yet again!!! he has to stop becuase it’s so strong that he can’t jog without loosing his footing.

NO ONE is saying anything – this is SO ridiculous!!! I thin BB made a big mistake with this challenge! BUT, it is what it is – as a famous philosopher has said, LOL!
Anyway, it continues – Dick is spitting, plane flies over, Dick is jogging WAY to hard right now! He’s in a FULL jog – could VERY EASILY loose his footing – Zach barely lifting his feet.
Dick is breathing hard – he’s wairing himself out right now the way he’s jogging!! It’s almost too ahrd to watch – you know he’s going to fall the way he’s going.

Thanks Lisa….that’s the way it’s worked before and the main reason I would like to see Dani rested and studying now…then, if Zach wins this part, Dick and Dani decide which will take him on and end Part 2 quickly with one giving it to the other.
Zach and Dick both are both wearing out mentally and physically. Dani stands the better chance of taking final HoH…so, Dick and Dani if they are in part 2 together will let Dani take it quickly.

Honestly I do not care on this one. It will be the next 2 I will be interested in.
I would like to see it be a Dick vs Zach final. I think I want Zach to win but man….watching this live feed….I am feeling for Dick. He just looks defeated but will not give up.
I think Zach wins this hands down since he is not wasting energy and he has a hat. That is quite an advantage since he is not getting water in the face!

Dick and Zach are both still in. The water stopped about 3 minutes ago so they are having a short rest break but still holding onto their keys.
Not sure about what would happen if the string broke.
Dick said to BB “thanks for showing a little mercy. this is brutal” and then turns to Zach and says “good job zach. this is definately not easy” while zach remains quiet.
Seem are both are happy for this short rest.

Live feeders are saying Zach’s fingers are turning purple. Circulation would be the cause. He should, logically, be in much better shape than Dick and if anyone would have the circulation problem, it’d be Dick. I’m sure the hard jogging is wearing Dick down faster…but, it’s keeping his circulation better than Zach’s.

WOW. I am impressed, this is really a brutal thing they are going through. I’m wondering if Dick asked before the comp. started to get a couple nicotine patches put on ? He really smokes alot and I’m sure not having one by now is hard his body.

Zach is the one who appears to be closest to an actual medical problem with the purple fingers…so, if the comp. is changed or they think he is in serious trouble, that would be the cause of any on the spot changes in the comp.

Reminds me of when the first Survivor and Richard Hatch just jumped down from the final 3 competition and still ended up winning. I am not saying Dani is going to win but she will probably win HoH since she will be the most rested and of sound mind.

Previews of Survivor China were great. I was thinking, watching it, what one of the staff members of Survivor said…this upcoming Season has the same type of ‘feel’ that the 1st, original, Survivor had to it. Which is very cool indeed!

I know , I have to up in 1 hr 45 mins. gosh, my husbands right, I have really gotten too deep into BB this year , but the the Showtime thing really helped me see how the HG are , way more than the small amount we see in the shows when they’re on. Would they stop the comp. if Zach’s fingers stay purple, and if so I wonder how long they have been like that? Do they have a medic or someone like that is around to make this decisions. Because I really can’t see Zach just quitting because of the fingers (even though he could do perm. damage to them).

Here is an interesting example of just how low Big Brother and CBS have sunk this season. It was originally posted on YouTube and features Dick telling Daniele that he has cheated.
The cheat came in the form of a letter he received from his son Vincent when Dick was HoH. He details to Daniele how certain messages and codes were designed to tell him who he could trust and who couldn’t trust. It is against the rules to receive communication from the outside because it can create an obvious unfair advantage.
Of course this was recorded by Big Brother.
It was broadcast on the live feeds.
Anyone who wants to see it can see it and Big Brother and CBS just don’t care.
Big Brother no longer has any resemblance to reality and it is no longer a fair game. It’s simply manipulated and scripted for ratings. Even blatant cheating is allowable so long as it does not change the direction Big Brother wants the show to go. It’s been obvious for weeks that Big Brother is engineering a Donato win. Dani will definitely have the advantage if Zach takes this part1. These guys are gonna be super sore and mentally spent.
I hope D & D do the best thing and if it is them in Part 2…they end it immediately..as soon as BB will allow…and lets Dani it to go against Zach in Part 3. That way, she is not spent mentally and will remain rested both physically and mentally. They will realize this game plan…I’m sure.

Zach did a great job last night. He really psyched himself for this. Dick’s taunting was undaunting, but his endurance was incredible no matter what you think of him. I, too, noticed that Dick & Dani were in total hurricanes as Zach was barely being misted. I felt horrible for Dani, she was absolutely freezing. I hope the three of them can at least get along and be civil towards one another during these last few days. Hopefully, D&D can pull off the next two and move into the final 2. =^^=

So my man Zach pulled it off …. GOOD FOR HIM !!!! I knew he would win an endurance comp …. but didn’t know that it was going to be as brutal as it was.
Dick certainly was slingin the insults around … guess his plan of action did not get it this time …. hahahaha …. Zach is more hardheaded than Dick is and does not rattle like the girls did. I did not get to see much of the comp BBAD didn’t do show much but the store room … so I went to bed. HAHAHAHA …. KARMA BABY …. IT’S A BEAUTIFUL THING !!!!!
Dani made Zach some tea …. very un-Dani like behavior don’t you think … that to me was a nicer gesture than the emtpy one she made using the veto on Dick …WTF … it meant nothing … Jameka was going home anyway .
So what do D&D do in the next comp … does Dick let Dani take it … I would say yes … Dani has a better chance of beating Zach than Dick does … IMO … and a better chance of winning the jury votes than Dick does if Zach makes to the F2 and personally I think his chances look pretty good.

Phase 1 – dani drops out early, dick tires out Zack as much as he can. If he wins great, if not at least Zack is worn out.
Phase 2 – give it to dani
Phase 3 – A rested dani vs. worn out Zach. If Zach wins through all this, he deserves to be in the final 2.

This competition was BULL&*&*&. It was geared for Zack, not to mention they should NOT have allowed him to wear a hat. Don’t get me wrong if he wins that is fine with me but BB is controlling this game yet again. If you watch the video’s on this competition that rabbit goes fast thru the whole thing. Then right before Dani fell it goes very very slow almost like it is going to stop then she falls then it goes fast again for everyone else. BB needs to redo this comp. because there was a malfunction with that game…it is so obvious.

I, too, was very impressed with Dani. She really is a strong competitor, but I think this one would have killed me, too. She’s a tiny, little thing, with barely any fat, so she has no padding to keep warm. Plus, they poured more water on her and Dick than the misting they gave Zach, and it gets cold in L.A. at night lately. I didn’t see the bunny break on her, though. While watching the After Dark show they cut to commercial and when they returned there was Dani absolutely hysterical & freezing.
I tried to do a fly by, but couldn’t get the clearance. =^^=

All of them were given gloves from what I saw. Dani and zach put them on and Dick decided not too. Zach generally wears a hat, and it was smart. Vivian…I’m so disappointed. Being a romantic is one thing, but Beauty and the Geek? That will never go anywhere. Since the game is over, she will finally see who he is.
I also think that jury house package was staged. I think they only brought Dustin in with his bags because I didn’t see anyone else with theirs and they only showed them together once. I think they have them separated, put them together in the house in Palm Springs for one day after Eric showed, they were able to trash talk, watch the video, then back to a hotel. The pool game was fake, the drinks, etc., I think the whole thing was filmed just for the quick footage.

According to another live feed server, Dick said he thinks the bunny broke before Dani hit it. Said it had been lurching a bit already and it lurched for Zach and Zach kicked it. It lurched again for Dani and she did not clear the pole.

HAHAHA…It is not just this server melting. bigbrotherupdates just warned in the Live Feed Updates forum that people need to slow down their browser refresh rates or they would close the thread due to overwhelming traffic.
Anyone saying BB8 is not getting watched is nuts!! I have always felt that if Big Brother can get the ratings it does during the off season, it may just be able to compete during the real season. I want 2 BBs a YEAR!!!

Traditionally the 3rd part of the final HOH comp has not been endurance, its Q&A about the other HG so it won’t matter that Dani is physically more rested than Zach. I’d like him to win the final HOH so that it won’t be a D&D final, but Dani is really good at HG trivia so he may not stand a chance.

I am watching BB After Dark that I taped last night, and I am so sick and tired of hearing E.D’s vulgar mouth…….if I was danelle, I would not speak to him for the rest of my life…….he thinks that the house guest all like him, but little does he know…..if it comes down to Zack and Dick in the final 2, I think that Zack will win hands down……I really don’t think that Dick will get any votes from any of the the jury members……now that would be the upset of the season……Dick coming in second and Zack winning…….Dick thinks he’s got it made……..well I don’t think so.

So true in so many ways. I was laughing when I watched the show yesterday and Dick announced Zach could not beat him in the F2. Dick is delusional about that. Though I must admit I have seen a past Jury ignore their own hurt feelings and vote for the “best player” who I feel is Dick. Not the “cleanest” player or the best competitor, but he spent the whole game in everyone elses heads. And the Jury has had a few weeks to get over their bruised egos. You saw how dustin greated his “arch enemy”. He seemed over it.

Keep in mind I was a Eric/Jess/Dick fan. I wanted Eric/Dick for F2. Only in the last 3 weeks has my respect for Dani grown (whining aside) to the point I want her to win.

There were long breaks on ShowTimeToo after Daniele dropped out & they showed the storage room. When they came back I noticed Dick’s feet had soil on them from the ground so a major readjustment had to have been made. I also heard over the speakers the BB people saying something like ‘OK Dick now put your left hand on the key …’ I’m paraphrasing of course.
I don’t think the jury has enough respect for Zach to give him the prize if he went to final 2. He was disliked by everyone and hasn’t really done anything to further himself in the game except to kiss the arses of every HOH. Rewarding a non-player?
Dick says it straight … his commentaries on Zach while in this HOH competition are classic. Dick is a better man than Zach. Zach admitting that Jamessika straightened out his panty munching ways! What a joke. Amber, Jameka & Zach are less ‘good people’ than they think.
How is this cheating? If it’s true then this is genius “[Dick] details to Daniele how certain messages and codes were designed to tell him who he could trust and who couldn’t trust …” from his last HOH letter.

Nancee, Dick definately has some emotional problems but during the rabbit competition that was obviously tactic. Towards the end he even told zach he was doing great and should be proud (paraphrased that). Dani kept telling Dick to distract Zach. Dick spent a few minutes deciding what to do and then jumped all over him for the panty muncher thing and the midget thing. I was laughing my A$$ off. Dick has gone over the edge a few times, but I think that is because he cannot filter his thoughts or feelings. When I am mad at someone, I think about what I am going to say, filter it and then try to be rational. I think Dick does not have that filter and says what he (and many of us) think.

Dorrito fans…come on. Zach is not a floater. Considering he didn’t have his daddy or any other friends in the house to fight his battles for him is atleast worth considering here. Whenever the other house guests targeted Dani, Dick went on one of his pathetic rants to distract the players from his daughter. Zach had absolutely no support and was looked at as an easy target and not worth putting up. Why blame him because nobody recognized he was flying under the radar. God I know the jury in the past has looked beyond the hurt feelings. In this case though I think it goes beyond hurt feelings. I think there was a degree of nastiness this time that is unparalleled. The other thing that I think will be the undoing of the Donato’s if either is against Zach is their inability to see the similarity between some of their actions with respect to broken alliances etc; and what others have done. Kudos to Zach. He did not let that pscho Dick intimidate him with his disgusting verbalizing. Keep in mind that tha arrogant D and D did nothing around the house to prepare for this. They played cards, stayed awake for hours. Zach stayed up in his room,slept, rested, prepared. He was smart enough to wear a hat. They all had a choice to wear what they wanted, but D and D were so sure of themselves, they did not think ahead. Stop complaining about the broken bunny being responsible for Spawn’s loss. The people complaining about the bunny seem to forget the mysterious blue ball getting into Jameka’s container during that comp. Shit happens! Oh Well!! Daniele’s attitude when her father lost was typical. She honestly could care less. She sees dollars, not a father in pain. Not that Dick does not deserve the pain! If Dick were smart he would have saved his energy and put it into playing the game, not wasting it by the constant verbal onslaught. Yelling and screaming takes energy. That energy could have been used elsewhere. He knew he was not getting through to Zach because Zach was too focused. He should have realized that early on and just tried to get through the ordeal. You know the show is going to come up with a competition for rd 3 that Zach has the best shot at winning. You can’t tell me the show doesn’t fix this stuff a little.
I know that everybody complains about ED and his ridiculous behavior but I blame the morons in the game even more for letting the donato’s stay together this long. The other people deserve to get beat if they didn’t realize that having a family alliance in the show would be unbreakable.
The reason Will and boogie did so well is because their alliance was unbreakable. Most other alliances come apart at some point – but a father daughter combo is a lock.
After ED spilled the drink on Jen’s head, that should have been enough for everybody in the house to boot him out on sheer principle. They let him ruin their once in a lifetime experience. You can’t tell me the show was as fun for the contestants this year as any of the other years. I’ve never seen people so miserable.
Again though. I blame the entire group for being that stupid to allow an idiot to stay this long. They had more than their fair share of chances.
And, lastly, that america’s player thing is crap. I think the show rigged eric’s vote to boot dustin instead of ED so they could keep the conflict going.
How’s that for a rant.

David, I like the rundown. Also, in reference to anyone thinking Dani was so upset because she lost, I didn’t see it that way. She is tiny & petite with nary an ounce of fat on her. Being soaking wet and cold for hours was all she could take. She was upset at herself for stopping and not being tougher, but there’s no way she could have continued. If none of you have ever been THAT cold for THAT long, you’re lucky. As fierce of a competitor as she is, she could only take so much. And how Dick did it as long as he did was amazing to me. He couldn’t shake Zach no matter what he said, and had to give up. (I know a lot of you think Dick is evil, but some of the faces Zach made scared the crap out of me. He’s frighteningly scary looking sometimes.)
Also, Dani asked her Dad if he wanted her to use her veto on him. He said no. She asked again saying that it would only be fair since he used his on her. He still said no. That’s why it was a surprise to him when she used it on him, they had agreed that she’d use it to save herself.
I view D&D as serious competitors in this game not taking it to the ridiculously personal level the jury house HG’s have. Sadly, due to the game play of the jury house, they will vote for the HG that hurt their feelings the LEAST!

Angie, Zach has been the dark horse in this competition. He didn’t bother winning comps until they mattered. He showed serious game play last night and barely wavered, it was incredible. But Zach stands a great chance to win HOH. If he does, I think he’ll bring Dani with him because everyone in the jury house wanted her out before her dad because she won so much. Okay, just got back and there are 1.2 million posts so I don’t know what is going on. No short bus remarks, but when is the 2nd part of the comp? OK if anyone else out there is as PISSED OFF as I am after watching that TORTURE last night – then you can help by doing what I just did. I called the producers and told them what a travesty that was last night, that we would NEVER have done to an Iraqi prisoner what they did to those three people last night. The damage that PROBABLY done to dick COULD be long lasting – and to all of them, for that matter. If you get hypothermia – it’s not a laughing matter – it doesn’t take HOURSE to recooperate – it takes DAYS if not WEEKS. And they are expecting them to compete TODAY???? I am outraged. I could NOT believe that they would do this for 7 1/2 hours while the fingers were turning purple – their lips were turning BLUE!!! They wree shaking so badly they could barely walk. Well, I for ONE, DO believe in BROTHER’S keepers (PUN INTENDED) and if you are as outraged as I am you can call the following numbers:

Lisa, I love your passion. I remember, I think Season 3, when the other Danielle, the beautiful black girl was sitting in water holding her key while it snowed on her. She had the same reaction this Dani did and it was painful to watch. I was sick inside watching Dani last night. Not only her disappointment at giving up, but she was absolutely freezing. I have to say that was the most brutal one so far I think in BB history … but on a bright note … Zach can sit the 2nd one out … plus I don’t think they where willing for the guys to hang on as long as they did. They where in for the long haul … Survivor as been doing comps like that for years … and even worse … any body remember fear factor …. I am sure CBS has cover their butts on this one .
I am not a fan of D&D …. but I tink that the tea was a sincere gesture JMO .

Sherrelu…I’m just curious. Why don’t you think Dani taking her Dad off with her veto was genuine? She asked him if he wanted her to and he said no several times. They decided not to use it on him, but she did anyway. It’s obvious she has some deep rooted issues with her dad, but it’s still her dad and I look at her as being very conflicted when it comes to him. And I applaud them both for doing very well at keeping their private business out of the BB house for the most part. I definitely think the tea was genuine gesture, too. =^^=

I didn’t say it was not genuine … just that it was a empty gesture because Jameka was going home anyway … it would been more believeable if there was a chance that Dani could go home and it would have been a awwwwwh moment for me … but since the outcome was going to be the same … didn’t feel a thing. NO problem BBblogger – it makes ma glad I’m retired – the passion in my life literally wore me out, LOL!! I used to take EVERY single kid under my wings and TRY 100% to get them the opportunities their own parents didn’t care about – GREAT kids, some even got off of drugs, a couple made it into the olympics, and quite a few went pro in their chosen sport – even helped get a GREAT man to stick it out in a high school that was loosing for years – I sent a letter to the principal telling him about this GREAT man as a coach and KNEW if they kept him that they would be on the winning end – well within 2 years they were beating the BEST in the area – D.C. area. They were an all black Catholick school – poor kids all of it – and they came back – it was SO awesome. To this day I heard from on of his players – that he tells the story of a woman who believed in HIM and his program and inspired him to continue fighting and on THAT is what brought them to where they were – can’t tell you what if felt like to hear that from a kid who benifitted by OUR fight! I REALLY miss that part of my business! And as far as contacting your senator – it always helps to have one as your lawyer, LOL!! I’ve ALWAYS got an angle – thinking about getting someone SOMEWHERE, LOL!
Anywho – I did what my conscience dictated and it’s how I brought up my sons – they live by that as well! It’s NOT an easy life – but I sleep at night!

i spent last evening in a live chat room waiting for the outcome of the 1st. part of
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------the hoh comp. congrats to zach. he did a good job and deserves to win because he was in better physical shape and was able to hold on longer. that is
it..it was not pre-destined…bb did not rig it so zach could win in retalliation of dick’s previous behavior…and (as far as i know anyway.) amber did not call god on her cell phone and ask god to make sure one of the good people won it!
as to the hats/gloves theory….zach usually wears a hat…dick and daniele had discussed that the comp. would probably include water so they could have worn hats also. i’m pretty sure that if daniele and zach both had gloves…dick was also given the option to wear gloves. perhaps dick felt that if the gloves became wet they would be slippery. i don’t know..no one except for dick knows why he chose not to wear gloves. did the bunny stop in front of daniele forcing her off the carrot? as much as i have pulled for daniele to win the entire thing it pains me to admit that i don’t think so. the bunny would go at varying speeds around in a circle to confuse the hg’s and to break up thier rythym. daniele held on as long as she could…she was wet and cold and miserable. the bunny slowed down in front of her and she scooted back a little bit…then she tried to jump but foot slipped off carrot causing her to go down. as daniele fell she came down on top of the pole hard.probably causing the bunny to stop working. i feel so sorry for daniele…she is a tiny little thing and she is probably quite bruised today as a result of her injury. but again…it was not sabotage. or a conspiracy. and for all those who have said that daniele was a baby and she gave up on purpose. they must have been watching something different than i…because it was clear to me that when daniele walked off she was limping and in obvious pain. now as to dick…oh my goodness what a marvelous creature that man is! hate dick or love dick…we all have to admit that what he accomplished last night is a testament to sheer will power. dick is 44 yrs. old and a heavy smoker and not in the best physical shape. how many of us did not think he could hang on for 1 hr. let alone 2 hrs…3 hrs. ..4..hrs. good god the man hung on to that key for over 7 hrs. i stand up and applaud him. i have pulled for dick and daniele from day one…and before the jeers begin..yes i know dick is rude, crude, obnoxious, arrogant, despicable..(and all those other epitaphs being bandied about) but i was touched by dick and daniele’s story and have come to care about them. if zach ends of winning the money..that is all well and good..but i think dick has already won far more than $500,000. last night his daughter said..i love you dad..i am so proud of you. those words probably mean far much to dick than $500,000 or even $1,000,000. so for all you grinches out there…didn’t your heart start to swell just a tiny bit as daniele put a blanket around her dad’s shoulders and say good job. that touching scene brought more than one tear to my eye. so i say again…well done zach…good job daniele..but i reserve my standing ovation for dick…who has made me laugh with his antics…made me cringe with some of his comments…made me stare in disbelief at his behavior…
made me want to throw things at my tv. but most of all dick has engaged my emotions and i am so rooting for him..yes dick is flawed..but are not we all? go dick go..you are a prince among fellows…and i salute you.

Dick and Dani talking about the next competition – figuring it will be some kind of puzzle in a, perhaps, classroom-type of setting. They’re sitting in the bathroom, Dick on couch and Dani sitting on one of the bureaus.
Dick really looks exhausted and Dani sounds tired. Zach comes out of the bathroom, sounds tired as well. They’re all being congenial – but I have a feeling everyone is TOO tired to care at this point!

Lisa, we are o.k. I just letting people know because it is a good idea to get supplies in case a really big one is coming soon. You never realize until it’s too late. You should make sure you store enough water for your family and have food you can eat with out preparations and medical supplies and medicine and prescription meds., bed rolls in a good location if you have to leave your dwelling. Tents are good too, you might have to sleep outside.

That does it for me. Not watching the finale. . . and defintely not watching BB ever again.
This game was decided before it ever started. CBS coerced it to this point to have a finale with daughter/father . . . the two most hated players in the history of the game . . . to bump up the viewers on an otherwise dying network.
