Final Four! Eric & Jessica Evicted From Big Brother 8
And then there were four.
If you don’t want to know who was booted from the Big Brother 8 house tonight, then read no further, and don’t click the “more” link.
Throughout the week, if you watch those feeds, you knew that Dick and Daniele planned to evict Jessica even after telling Jameka she would be gone. With 10 minutes left to spare before Thursday night’s live show, the plan was for Dick to offer Jameka a deal.
We don’t know whether that deal went down, but we do know that Thursday night was to be a double-eviction event. Tension.
Jessica almost breaks down when making her speech to the house. Jameka had said before that if the vote came back 3-0, she knew she would be gone, and if it were 2-1, she knew she would be safe.
The vote was 2-1. Jameka was right, and she was safe.
After a long embrace with Eric, Jessica told CBS’ Julie Chen that her feelings for Eric were genuine. Of course, Eric had also told her that he would fight like mad for the two of them in the subsequent HoH.
And, it was a game of brains over brawn, meaning Eric would fare well — right?
After taking a 5 to 4 to 4 lead over Daniele and Dick, the venerable E.D. went on a guessing rampage (by his own admission) and WON the HoH. But this week there would be no photos from home, no buckets full of candy and chips, no treasure chests full of Marlboro Reds.
Dick fulfilled his obligation on this double-eviction night and nominated Jameka and Eric. No surprise.
However, the PoV competition, which typically I don’t believe they had done on previous Big Brother double-eviction nights (Big Brother “Fast Forward,” as Julie called it), was all about little balls. C’mon! Surely Eric would do well in a game centered on little balls, right?
Jesting aside, the back yard was set up for 700 pounds worth of small balls of various colors to pour down on them. The houseguests’ challenge? Grab eight of the green balls and put them in a container, ring a buzzer and bask in their PoV glory.
About halfway through the competition though, Jameka was disqualified. A blue ball had been put into her container. She was peeved and immediately accused Eric of sabotaging her although I think it was agreed upon that the ball probably bounced into her container. Nothing was ever said about it because Zach won.
Now, Zach had a choice. I do believe he would have been safe from nomination if he had removed one of the houseguests, but I don’t know that to be the case. Maybe he didn’t know it either. However, my thought was that he could have removed Eric, forcing Dick to nominate Daniele.
In my opinion, this was an opportunity for some high tension, even if this was a show already full of it packed into an hour. However, Zach stayed loyal to his oath and kept the nominations the same.
Eric Stein, who will forever be known as America’s Player was evicted 2-0.
He told Julie his feelings for Jess were genuine, and it was revealed that he had earned $40,000 for his AP efforts. Nothing was said to the houseguests about his role in the game, probably because he has more work to be done. Maybe it will be something they reveal on Sunday, when Big Brother is back for the HoH competition.
Unless there is some provision allowing all houseguests at this point to participate in the HoH, it will be Daniele, Zach and Jameka battling for a spot in the Final 3. There is only one vote for eviction to be had at this point, and that will happen live on Tuesday.
In other words, if Daniele wins and nominates Zach and Jameka, and neither wins the PoV, then it will be Dick casting the vote. On Thursday, the Final 2 will be revealed as the Final 3 will vie for HoH with the winner single-handedly evicting the one houseguest he or she does not want by his or her side on Sept. 18.
When this season began, and this is documented, I speculated that it would be CBS dream to have a Dick-Daniele finale. However, Zach has been a fierce competitor the past few weeks, and Jameka seems quite hungry (let the eating jokes begin!), and I still think the unexpected could happen, including a Zach-Jameka finale.
It truly is anybody’s game at this point.

I can’t believe that neither Eric, Jameka or Zach realized (and in the case of the first two, said aloud) that this was the only chance to break the unbreakable Donato alliance. Had Zach removed one of the two nominees that would have forced Danielle onto the block and they could have voted her out. The toughest competitor would be gone and the only real alliance broken. Then the remaining, minus Dick, would have had a much better chance at winning. For all the talk about game play, Eric, Jameka and Zach aren’t very good at actually playing the game. I guess they can lament that fact when they realize that they were the architects of their own demise.

I hope Danielle doesn’t win, I hope Dick doesn’t win I can see them starring in the next white trash Rob Zombie flick. Jessica and Eric had their chance to get rid of Dick or Danielle and they ignored common sense and trusted them, so they got what they deserved. I’m pulling for Jameka..she hasn’t has a chance for HOH for 5 crucial weeks(her choice) and that’s brutal. If it wasn’t for the cheesy religious crap she’s actually pretty cool..plus I like a woman with curves and she has a nice big booty.

I’m with you Brian. I TVIO’d the show and pretty much fast forwarded through the whole thing. I really wanted Jessica to win. Eric got worked over by being America’s Player. Now I would like to see Jam to some damage, but alas I think the creepy duo will come out on top.

There is no way in hell the “showmance†will continue between Eric & Jessica once they all take their marbles and go home. And, sadly, as I’ve said many times before, the jury house is full of the most immature game players, they will not vote for the best game play, but the one who hurt their little, tender feelings the LEAST. They are too childish to be objective and see the game for what it is and realize that they were all outplayed by whomever is sitting in the final 2.
And while I’m at it, maybe someone can pay for some voice lessons for Jessica so she can learn that the word “and†isn’t pronounced “eeeeeeeeeand.†=^^=

Was I the only one who saw Dick put a blue ball in his pocket early on then put his back to the camera right by Jemeka’s tube? In the kitchen later he laughed and asked her if she thought someone cheated and she said no it must have bounced in there.

CBS rewound and reviewed the tape and said GOD put the ball in Jameka’s tube, meaning it just bounced in there on it’s own. She’s in the final 4 anyway. You’re all so quick to blame Dick. He was playing for himself. And, they all shoved each other in their attempts to get the green balls. Didn’t you notice the head gear & knee pads?

people see what they want to see…i saw dick’s necklace get broken. i saw dick bend over and pick it up off the ground. i saw dick put his broken necklace in his pocket. i even saw dick discussing the broken piece of his necklace after they came inside. what earthly reason would dick have for sabatoging jameka in the pov contest? dick and jameka made a deal..she was never going to go home no matter what. seemed to me that jameka immediately suspected eric when julie told her she’d been disqualified. people just always want to start trouble.
if the cbs executives who were watching the pov competition close enough to catch the blue ball in jameka’s container..then they would have seen if dick…or anyone else put a different colored ball in. dick would have been disqualified also. there where a lot of little balls bouncing around..one could have bounced in accidently..or perhaps jameka in her haste and nervousness could have thought she had a green ball land put the blue ball in herself. until cbs makes a statement saying dick put the blue ball in jameka’s container i am not going to listen to the rabid ravings of a few individuals who just seem to like stirring up shit.

The whole “Blue Ball” incident really is a moot point since Zach dominated and won. If Jameka or Dick won (or even Eric) then I think there could have been more of a stink. Honestly…it did not matter who won veto to a certain extent since Dick and Dani had it under control. Either Eric, Zach or Jameka was gone. If there would have been a tie with the Vote then Dick would break it.
The competition that was the most important was the HoH and Eric had a chance being in the lead near the end….but he blew it. Sad….I liked America’s Player. I liked Jess better….but I digress.

That is one way to look at it “Alex’s mom”. But I know what I saw and I saw Evil ass Dick put something in his pocket. My thought was that it was a ball. He was having a hard time stuffing it in his pants so it could not have been a small necklace. A necklace could have been easily concealed. However a ball is a little harder to conceal when your stuffing it in your pants. He put the ball in Jameka’s container. It was the Marlboro Man.

I thought Dick put a green ball in his pocket, I just figured he was collecting so he didnt waste time running back and forth.
Moot point now, however based upon the comments, I would have loved to hear what BB would have done in the event there was a foul. Especially if it couldnt have been reviewed correctly until after the hour was up.
As for the shoving, I am suprised the remaining HG’s all didn’t have some scrapes and a few broken teeth! Heck, a Hockey game could have broken out!
Now if the feeds would PLEASE come back up!

Something I noticed that the fans of Jess and Eric just come on here and comment and say what they feel and all the fans of Dick and Daniele just rip them apart. I guess thats just the type of people D&D fans are. You would just about have to be to like THEM, either 16 yr olds or burnt out 50 yr olds!
Simple fact happens to be Zack’s move with his POV to not use it, when only a person who has been brain dead for 6 months might not know using the POV tonight and having Eric or Jameka replaced would have resulted with Dani on the block thus insuring her eviction and leaving Dick as a limp dick for the next HOH competition and his probably eviction simply smells of something that has smelled for a long time this year!
Ever since Dick outright assaulted Jenn and not only on one occasion, but on two occasions and his not being escorted from the BB8house as was done for lesser actions to a HG in prior years, commenced the actual visualization of this game being rigged at the hands of the Producers!
Never before in live feeds in years past has there been so many calls for to HG’s into the DR! In years past cigarettes were trashed by HG’s and never replaced, it being a part of the game, yet Dick’s were replaced in under 15 minutes! When Producers informed that destroying HG’s property was not tolerated, then Eric doing a AC task in pouring mustard on Jens shirt should have penalized him, but it didn’t!
Dani’s mentioning of Amber seeing her cousin on Power of 10 on live feeds was in direct violation of the rules they were given to not discuss at all or in any way their prize! But again nothing happened!
Unfortunately, if all we had to watch were the shows and not the live feeds, we might believe what we are seeing to be valid live survivor and other shows, but the live feeds have exposed the GAME to a lot of the rigging going on to protect the shows highest ratings HG of the season and this season happens to be Dick!

I have been waiting for this to occur all season! As an outsider of the day to day (D2D) I have been waiting for this to be said. What a relief! At least 2 of the F4 know, and after tonight, D&D + Jameka will know.
And as I mention, I suspect Zach may have known for a while.
The “fog of war” is lifting, and all remaining players will see the entire board, and this game will finally be on an even playing field.

In earlier blog therads, it was suggested that it takes time for the police to clean the blood out of the carpets.
I totally agree with that, but lordy (GOD) lordy, what is happening? There is not much time for the world to know what is happening.

I HATE the Donatos!! Both of ‘em! Yeah they may be decent in this game but that’s just because they’re both naturally manioulative decietful people. Dick has worn the moniker of “Evil” proudly. Apparentely he wasn’t really taken too seriously. And Dani… it’s like every episode she’s whining about something. Whether it be Nick, or arguing with The Dick. Well I am very disappointed that my favorite players where evicted . Eric almost pulled off winning a HOH …. close but no cigar right . The thing that bothered me the most I think about Jessica eviction was the look on the child’s face … she was crushed … sorry but that brings the momma bear out in me. She will be kicking herself for a long time for not going with in gut and putting up D&D in her last HOH. I said then and I am saying it now … that decision determined the outcome of the game for her and Eric right then and there. I hope that when all is said and done and they watch the tapes back that DICK sees that sweet little face eyes filled with tears for the rest of his natural born life. At least Eric and Jessica can say they lived up to their bargin… Dick and Dani where the double crosser this year … call that good game play if you want but I think it stinks … They could have just told Jess she was leaving but no they took the cowards way out . well enough of my whinning about the lovebirds eviction on with the weeks events.

D&D are gamers. Eric showed his true sportsmanship when he blamed losing on being AP. He was a true whiner. At anytime he could have passed on americas assignement and fortited the money he won. He did it because he wanted to hedge his investiment incase he didnt win the game. $40K is a nice parting prize, considering the second place winner gets 50K.
Another thing, Eric complained that being AP hurt him in his game. I disagree, by him knowing who america wanted voted out or pranks played on, told him who was popular in the game, or who was doing devious things that he didnt know about.

Why are people hating on Dick and Dani - it is a game…A GAME…Just a reality show to win some money. Don’t hate the player Hate the game….I love this game…..I myself could not sign up to be in situation like being sequestered in a house or put on a deserted island, because I would just freak out and go Dick on everybody. And I would not go into the diary room to apologize and says “it is just part of the game†as Dick has said in the past. I love BB.

Eric did not have a choice in the players he voted out … he had a choice in the pranks but not the eviction … and I am sorry … that did screw up his game play . he would have done better in the game had he not had to do america’s bidding. But those of you who don’t like Eric will not admit to that just like when Dick lies and manipulates he is a good gamer … but when Eric done it he was labeled a weasel and a sneak … sorry can’t have it both ways.

I am so depressed. Eric really should have let out some more flames last night. He should have stood up during the POV ceremony and said “Dick and Danielle made a deal for final four and lied. Don’t trust their word. Fine, vote me out, but don’t trust them.”
I actually like Dick and do not mind him in the F2 andI have no problem with lying in the game, but Dick constantly simpering about the integtrity of the game belies his actions.
I hope Zack realizes that he needs to get Danielle out. If he does not get Danielle out then he will not make it past F3. Learn from Eric!!

Dani is freaking out over next to nothing. HoH only gets you to the final 3, but POV this week means final 3 plus you get to vote who is out. Focus you silly young thing, focus.
Regardless of who is nominated, D or D winning POV means Jameka is done. If Zach wins POV, Jameka might go home if he thinks he can beat either D or D in the final 2, but he’s a little to simple in the head so I think he’ll just let Jameka vote one of the Donatos out.
Bottom line, 50/50 chance that Jameka is out. 50/50 shot for either Dick or Dani. Dick knows this, Dani is a little slow.
On AP Eric. Any winner of this game needs to step it up and win some competitions at some point. He couldn’t do it. Win a competition or 2 near the end of the game, and you are safe (Dani, Dick and especially Zach have all won lately). Lose, and you’re out. AP had very very little to do with it. Think of it this way, if he had been able to vote Dick or Dani out earlier, he still would have probably lost the competitions to whoever was left and STILL would be out on his backside at exactly the same point in the game.
He was wrong last night when he said the showmance with Jess didn’t mess up his game. It did (IMO).

I think Dani or Jam should go. I can’t see Zach wanting Jam in the F2. I think he wants one of the Ds. He probably thinks he could win against one of those 2. He really hid the fact he could play well. I think if Jam were to vote one of the Ds out she would vote out Dani. They all would probably want to be with Dick in the F2.. Although hopefully every single person in the JH will realize that Dick ran the show from the get go. So Dick will win!
