Nominations Made: Jessica’s First Time
Zach had been pretty transparent in terms of who he planned to nominate in his first stint as HoH, and on Friday, he fulfilled that plan by putting Jessica and Jameka on the block.
Jess’ reaction? She apparently was peeved because she told Zach to be a man and look her in the eye when he nominated her. Little do they know, the real plan is to back-door Eric.
And little do they know that Dani is workin’ Zach something fierce, trying to work out a deal to save her and her father this week.
Could be an interesting 24 hours in the Big Brother house!

Zach is an idiot not to nominate Dick and Daniele. In one week, they will have the deciding votes (assuming they are both still around). While back-dooring Eric may seem smart in a revengeful way, it isn’t the smartest, safest, or best move for Zac. With back-dooring Eric, that makes Jessica ticked, which I think in turn would light Jameka’s fire. Meanwhile, Dick & Daniele sit on the sidelines laughing another week. Backdoor Daniele while you still can. I love her, she is awesome, but she is fierce, and in an excellent position to win. Course, Eric is the real idiot for protecting his own butt last week with the PoV. Grow a pear, use the veto, and send Daniele packing. You have to get your hands dirty at some point Eric!

Boo on Dani and her backstabby ways. The little harpy. Eric better win PoV so both he and Jess will be safe. Get one of the Donatos on the block and then vote them out! They can keep Jameka one more week at least. Eric needs to make it up to Jess for being so dumb bringing up voting out Jameka right after the noms. Dummy.

Jameka will not be evicted. Jameka will win the POV (done deal) and take herself off. Eric will take her spot and end up going home. Daniele will win next HOH and will put up Jameka and Jessica again. Since Dick sees Jessica as a threat and Eric was already evicted, Jessica will leave. Jameka will win next HOH since she’s able to play. She puts up Dick and Daniele. Zach votes out Dick. Daniele Zach and Jameka are in the final 3. Daniele wins final HOH and votes out Zach. Jameka wins BB8.

She can’t play in the HoH comp next week. Well, the first one anyway. And since there’s no PoV (they don’t know about the double eviction!) that would be the perfect time to vote her out. No worries about her getting herself off the block.

I don’t look at Dani as anything but an excellent competitor and fantastic player. We all need to remember that she just turned 21, pretty young for this kind of pressure cooker. She is a bit on the immature/whiny side, but she hasn’t gotten this far on her good looks. Watch her. She is ALWAYS thinking GAME. (Harpy…that was funny!) And she and Zach have become closer friends in the last few weeks, before he got HOH. The house needs to evict Jameka before she has the opportunity to compete in the HOH. Jessica is a major threat to anyone sitting next to her in the final 2, she needs to go. Eric will find himself in a hell of a pickle in the following weeks, and hopefully Dick can hold his temper. They all have to lie and make all kinds of deals to save themselves and get to the end.=^^=

Hmm. This is disappointing. I was hoping the house would rally behind evicting the Donato Alliance this week. If Eric, Jameka or Jess are evicted, I’ll be peeved. I probably won’t care who wins if Eric is evicted. Since you know, he’s the only way we have any say in this game.
Hopefully Eric wins Veto, saves Jessica. Then Zach is forced to put Dick or Daniele up. Then Jessica and Eric(with America’s help hopefully) evict Daniele 2-1. The double-eviction will be interesting. I have this guess that we’ll see 1 Donato and 1 J&E Alliance leaving though… I hope not.

Ronjj, I would say that VIEWING with emotions is not the way to watch. D&D have played a GREAT game, especially ED. I know this is the first season you have watched, and you hate D&D, and are only watching the rest of the show to “see it through”, but you”ll be back next year. I’d put money on it.

You are right, this is the first season I have watched, and definitely will be the last. Enough is enough! Once through this mess is about all I really care to watch. Seeing the worst side of human nature and behavior is not what I signed up for when I got involved with it this summer. And yes, I really do not, and have not since Week 1 liked D and D. I was hoping that Zack would have put up Dick and Danielle, and by some means, they would be voted out.
The house would have been left with 2 guys (Zack/Eric) and the 2 girls (Jameka/Jessica) the 2 girls do not have to be blond???
The only alliance remaining would be that of Eric and Jessica.
Hopefully America’s Player would have been asked to put himself up and then he goes away, which would be great because it would now be a fair game for the remaining players. (no one would have to play by America’s rule, just their own).
The sooner, the better because I’ve not particularly liked America’s Player. The game itself has lacked excitement. If this show was rated with all other BB episodes, IN MY OPINION, it would be at the bottom.
No one should be upset when Dick and Danielle win because they all had every opportunity to stop them but each time they were duped.

They’ll evict either Jameka, Jessica or the backdoor on Thursday. Then, they’ll turnaround and do an HoH, and tell the winner, “Guess what. You gotta nominate two right NOW.”
They will either do a PoV on the spot or tell the houseguests to go in and vote right there. Next Thursday, for those of us BB nerds, will be quite fun to watch because there will be no time for deliberation.

Sorry, I was probably confusing. The PoV will be on Saturday like normal, during the day … as far as the double eviction. What it means is that we’ll go through “the cycle,” from HoH to nomination to a vote ALL within the span of one hour.
I do not think there is a PoV involved. Traditionally, BB has not done doubles like that, but anything’s possible.
Let’s say the nominations stay the same. Well, Jameka will go. So, at this point, only Zach cannot be HoH, meaning it will be J, E, D & D vying for HoH. One of them wins and immediately nominates Zach and one person from the opposing twosome. If Jess wins, she’d pick either Dick or Dani. If Dani wins, either Jess or Eric.
Almost certainly, Zach goes in that scenario. So, if Jameka is ousted, look for Zach to follow.
Let’s say Eric gets backdoored like Zach wants, that would leave only THREE to play for the HoH, meaning Zach and Jameka would get nominated on the spot.
Right now, I don’t see any way Zach is putting up Dick or Dani in place of either houseguest. I think that’s a mistake, but who am I …
But to answer your question, NO, the two people up will NOT go home. They’ll do evictions like normal and then go through almost a week’s worth of stuff in one hour, evicting a second person.

Knowing selfish Dani just by what is seen on the show, she is as trusting as a street walker and unless Dick reels her in, Eric will leave this week and the agreement made with the Jedi will be trashed by the trash person on the show Dani!

Thinking since they don’t know about this week being a double evict week and thinking there is still a POV competition next week, and knowing Dick’s way of thinking, here is how it will likely play out with Dani’s POV:
Keep the noms the same and Jameka gone!
Let Jess win HOH next week thus she can’t compete for HOH in the final 4 and even if D/D are put up by Jess, unlikely because of Eric, they can win POV and thus Zack is gone!
That leaves to play in final 4 HOH Dick, Dani and Eric, which Eric is useless as a player and since the final 3 everyone plays, D/D control the final game and the final 2, at least in their minds!

Dick and Dani have to go to the Final 2 together for either of them to win - that’s a given.. Right now, I’m going to say if it ends up D&D, there will be enough votes for Dick to win. Jameka win POV? You are kidding. Eric or Jessica is going to win. Jessica will be saved. Eric will be put up, Jameka will go home. No matter who wins HOH, Zach will be the biggest target - he’s going home and the Alliances will battle it out. Danielle will throw Dad under the train to save herself, Eric will sacrifice himself to save Jessica (they’re getting married right?). Jessica will get the votes to win because she’s managed not to piss anyone off, and Eric’s power of persuasion will guarantee it. Will ED be a good spokesman for his daughter, who the hell even likes him? And I can seriously guarantee that Danielle has no plans to share any money with dad. Will they play the HoH competition and then be told that’s a double eviction week or will they be told and then play? It would be funny if someone threw the HoH competition (say, like Daniele) thinking she really wanted to play in the competition the week after that, only to find out after she threw it that it was a double eviction week. That would suck to be her. But very karmic.

I really want for D&D to stick their word with Jess and Eric for the simple fact that the feeds for the rest of the time would be so boring…a real snooze fest, do you really want to watch Jam and Zach, I mean really think about it.
This is what I would like to happen, Dani uses veto on Jam with the intention of Zach putting Eric up, but oh by God he puts up Dick would be a good strategic move for Zach, because you have Eric , Jam and Dani voting.(are we gonna have a say in the vote this week, I dont think so) So you have Dick and Jess on the block, Eric and Jam vote out Dick. Then you have Jess, Eric and Dani playing for HoH, if Jess wins you have Zach and Dani up, if Eric wins you have Zach and Dani up, if Dani wins you have Zach and Jam up, so the consensus would be Zach to go for he has now pi$$ed off everyone in the house. So final four are….
Eric, Jess, Dani and Jam.

Guys and Girls….Let’s give credit where credit is due. Dani and Dick have played the best BB game than any of the other HGs. If Nick had stayed, he was on the right track by not committing totally to the Ms Robinson alliance and assessing the situations available; therefore, he also would have been a force to be reckoned with.
At this point…well…actually…all the way through… I’ve never given any credit to a players personal life in regard to who I’d like to win. I have my picks for the ones irritating and I’d like to see go…i.e. Wamber. And, makers of really stupid moves…re’ Dustin.
Dani and Dick deserve to be in the F4 and F2, imho.
As for Dani dumping her b/f back home. Big deal. He’s been watching and if he stays with her or attempts to…then, he is the dummy. All he has to do now is either of 2 things: Depending on how long they’ve lived together.
1. Declare everything Dani wins as Communal Property and get half.
2. Move out now taking everything they have…if joint account…empty it out. This option is if they have not co habitated long enough for it to be an actual Communal split. But, if their joint account is Name or Name with the ‘or’ in there… then, he can take it all legally right now.
I’m just not one to feel sorry for folks when, if they use their brain, they can make things happen to their advantage.
Dani is NO dummy. She has proven herself to be a dominant force…right from the get go; Dick certainly proved his power and the HGs didn’t break up the DD combo. Too friggin bad for the HGs.

Based on updates Dani- want’s jess to leave this week…Dick-for some reason want’s to honor his alliance and wants Jameka to leave this week (he says to secure votes at the jury house which makes no sense to me)…..it sounds like the whole backdooring Eric plan went out the window

I agree Vivian, and I am personally SHOCKED Eric has made it this far, seeing how ‘erratic’ his behavior would seem to those not in on the twist (though America has been pretty easy on him when it comes to personal tasks. Kissing Jess? Woobie to Jess? Mustard for Jen?…come on…stir the pot)! As much as we like having a say, I think it is time that we begin to prepare for a F4 WITHOUT Eric, and therefore without our input. Zac is too stupid to not be overtaken by the pressure to put up Eric.

I agree Vivian. In that I like having him in the game. But, Dani and Dick are thinking strategically. It is the thing to do. The Jameka is a wild card though. Since the HGs don’t know about the double evict… they should get Jameka out now.
It’s still looming in their minds I would bet that this might be their last chance to get Jameka. Heck, we haven’t really seen her potential since she has been disallowed for 5 HoH competitions. All she’s had is the PoV so who knows if she had been able to compete as many times as the others…she might have won competitions. It’s risky to keep her.
At the last minute, this might weigh on those left and they could send Jameka packin’. It’s either get Jameka out while the gettin’ is good or break up the Jess/Eric alliance now. In my mind eye’s, if I was playing, it’s a 50/50 call.

I thought that Dani and Kris had only been together a few years. And, if I remember correctly, I believe they both had to be out of their place by 8/31. I seem to recall that Dani was telling the girls one night that Kris was taking care of packing their stuff up while she was gone. I wonder where they are supposedly moving to, or if they “had” to move out and aren’t sure where they will be. I get the feeling neither party had any real belongings to speak of. Remember Dani said she needed a car desperately? I think Daniele is absolutely DESPERATE for money. She’s definitely cunning and will do anything to make this go her way.

I think when the alliance was made to boot Dustin, producers had imput for the sake of their ratings to have the final 4 wittle down to Eric, Jess, Dick and Dani and they will keep it for the sake of ratings! How boring is this game going to be with Jameka praying all the time, Zack spirting out some dumb thing or sitting there picking his nose all the time and Jess in bed sleeping all the time?
BB8 is second in its timeslot, not good for renewals, since re-runs are beating it out!
Dick thinks, Dani whines all about herself only, and yes this is a game of slef preservation, but if it wasn’t for Dick, Dani would of been gone 4 weeks ago!

I recall several times Zach talking to others saying that D&D were too powerful a force and needed to be split up. Him being a “numbers man” I can’t believe he is going with emotion and not common sense. He seems like such an analytical guy but here is basing it on his emotions.
I agree with all who think that Dani would throw her dad under the bus. She would do it in a minute and not give her dad a penny of her money. Don’t like Dick as a person, but I know he would share his money with her, no doubt!
I just wonder, are they going to wait until Thursday, like they said they were, to start the double eviction or are the rumors right about it happening sooner. I doubt it will, but wouldn’t it be fun?!?

In reference to the producers and ratings, I have a few thoughts.
1) I think we can all agree the producers have been too involved this season, and haven’t let the houseguests play the game. From various Diary Room persuasions, and blank feeds, we all know they have taken an active role in the game when it isnt entirely necessary to do so. They need to let BB9 run it’s course like past seasons, and not interfere!
2) I would completely expect BB8 viewing to be down the crapper. All-Stars did poorly, but BB8 seems about where they left of with ‘Summer of Secrets’ on BB6. As an avid BB fan, I have almost lost it with this season, and if work needs me on the 22nd of September…oops…I’ll watch it online in the morning. I am not on the edge of my seat to see who wins like past seasons. The reason I don’t care to see who wins isnt clear to me…maybe some of you can help…
There are several distinct personalities in the house: Dick, Jen, Eric, and Amber to name a few…but for some reason their interactions aren’t satisfying.
There has been no Janelle, James, or Dr. Will. No dominant player.
The twist(s) is(are) horrible. Enemies was basically worked out by Week 2, with Carol and Joe being evicted, and Dick and Dani reconciling. America’s Player is a good concept, but poorly executed…

If from the feeds, the POV happens today, then it is likely that an eviction night will be before next thursday and it does smell like if there is something early then they will pull a Kaiser thing again and return one of the HG’s, because it will be really boring having to listen to Dani whine about herself, Dick spit and cough, Zack show his stupidity even more, Jameka pray and Jess sleep all day long for 2 more weeks! At least with Eric there weezel as he is, he does manage to get some things going! Or send Jen back in and we can be entertained by Dick’s ignorant antics again, just seeing his face if she returned would be priceless!

Kevin, as for the AP, it is a sham, I doubt the majority voted for Eric to kiss Jess, lay odds it was for him to kiss Dick but that was shelved by CBS or at least the producers!
Only good part of the AP was our ability to pick someone to be nominated and someone working for us to do it although lame the past few weeks, as they were pretty boring nominees picked!

Hmmmm……I don’t think the eviction will happen before Thursday. I am pretty sure the eviction will be as is on Thursday night, and then an immediate HOH competition, will the announcement the HOH needs to name 2 HG’s for eviction, and possibly a POV contest or a vote all that night.
Does anyone know if Thursday is a 2-hour episode?

me, I agree, plus I don’t think there is ANY way we voted Jen out. She and Dick were the only entertainment left. If Eric HAD cast a vote for Jameka last week, that would have made it too obvious who the one vote was, and so the Producers shelved it…
