It’s Unanimous! Dan is the winner of Big Brother 10!
I love the Big Brother finale. I love the jury segments. I love the drama of the voting and the way everyone talks. I love seeing familiar faces in the crowd…alumni from Big Brother past seasons.
By far my favorite part is when they clue everyone into some of the moves that were made and the things that people did not know about…let me give you an example.
I loved it when Michelle learned about “America’s Player”. I thought it was priceless watching her facial expressions. The shock and the “I KNEW IT” look in her eyes said it all.
The other part I loved was the way we got to understand Dan’s moves and strategy. Let me tell you…he was one amazing player (not quite Dr. Will…but close!) When he was connected with Brian and Brian was out right away….he was able to fade into the background by convincing everyone he was not a threat and just let the group of 8 go after who they believed to be more of a threat and then when the 8 split and went after each other, Dan was off the radar. (Worked out so amazingly well for him) Then, when he needed to, he aligned with Memphis and the Renegades were born!
Dan and Memphis went to work. This was a very smart move since he was able to win when he could and if not, have someone who had his back when he didn’t win a HoH or Veto. VERY SMART!
Lastly, I think he was one of the smartest when it comes to forward planning. The fact that he purposely tried to mess with his relationship with Michelle and Ollie with the thought that if he was in the final 2 he would be more liked…simply amazing planning (and maybe a tad cocky) but all worked out. Everyone agreed that Dan was the Man. Jury vote was 7 - 0. Nothing against Memphis….just Dan played the game and really did Dominate.

I think a lot of people (ok, maybe EVERYONE) was shocked by the 7-0 vote. Based on gameplay, Dan was the deserving winner. I didn’t like him personally but he played the best game out of everyone in the house, bar none.
Congrats to Memphis for getting 2nd (and the car, which I think may have played a small part in who to vote for).
I still don’t think Keesha deserved Favorite but that’s just me.

I would have been ok if Renny got it over Keesha, but I would have been horrified if Jerry got the cash. I’m still in the belief that fans had to capability to vote as many times as they wanted for their favorite player online even though I was told otherwise (only 8 times per day). I voted for Keesha like 15 times in one day and it said “thank you for your vote” each time. My thoughts are that Jerry’s family and friends were voting 24/7 for him to be favorite because I don’t believe that Jerry was portrayed as a great guy on CBS. Without any knowledge of the feeds or Showtime I still think Jerry seemed like an ass. The only time my heart went out to him was when he got the phone call from his wife. Which again was due to fan vote. With that one I didn’t care enough who got the call to vote over one or two times but someone sure wanted him to have it.

I loved the showm Dan ran the game…he played everyone.
Keesha trusted Dan and Memphis and she got voted out, but then again, Dan made sure that he wasn’t the one to make that vote, he played very well…

I agree between the two Dan was the best. I liked when Renny asked Memphis what he did for her. Very good question since I didn’t see him do a thing for anyone except maybe Dan. One other thing I saw on Showtime when Keesha was crying big tears and Dan reached over and wiped a tear away. Even though he was partly responsible for her pain I found that very touching for him to do.

Dan played the game as a genius and out of any Big Briother season i have witnessed, the best player finally won.
It’s great knowing that April , Ollie and Michelle put their personal views behind them and vooted for the one who outplayed everyone.
Dan is a peerson i would like as friend…
I was surprisded Renny did not get the 25,000. Renny looked surprised she did not get the prize (did anyone else witness that cutaway shot where she was surprised she did not win the 25,000?
Future Big Brothers should have payoffs for the final three, It’s ten years and the prize money should be 1,000,000 but split by the final three.

I loved the finale, Dan was certainly the best player, glad Keesha got American’s favorite juror, would be nice to see the voting results, again BB should have a 2hrs reunion special after they all see the show.

I think Dan deserved all the votes after listening to the jury discuss who to vote for I was not at all surpised by the 7-0 vote. I was hoping Renny would win the money but am ok with Keesha and glad it was NOT Jerry.

i was HORRIFIED when Julie announced that Jerry was a close runner up. In all the blogs, etc. I never read anything from anyone who supported Jerry in any way. HOW could he have even been close to a favorite. Renny, i would understand - she was great. The upside of Keesha winning fav. (beside Jerry not winning) was a final salute to April and her stone cold face!

i would like to see the winner still get 500…second place 250 and 3rd place 50…i would also like to see family members join the final 2 in the house to get a feel for what their loved ones experinced for all of that time…i see no harm in makeing the 2 finalists allowed to know what has happened in the world at that pt in the game….no harm would have happened if both of the familiee and girlfriends were to join memphis and ddan after they had theirteleconf with the jury house…at that point the gam,e was over…they were going to have no further contct with the jury house until the final nite…let the families join them in the house…JUST MU OPINION…FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH…

Hands down the best player even if I didn’t like his style. I agree, there should be $500, $250, and $50. I don’t think they should win $1,000,000. Survivor winner gets that and there is no way that you can compare BB to Survivor. They have food (even when it is only slop), they have a roof over their heads, and a place to sleep. Sorry, I just don’t think there is any comparison. $500,000 is enough.

I agree with all of the comments regarding Dan and Jerry. I don’t understand how he ever came in ‘A CLOSE SECOND’. The only thing that I could think of is that the votes on the computer for Jerry and Renny were reversed, in other words if you voted for Renny you were actually voting for Jerry. I know it does’nt make sense, but neither does Jerry coming in ‘a close second’.

On an unrelated topic, PLEASE don’t send E-MAILS or TEXT WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING. I’m refering to that train accident in California. Besides working almost a 12 hour shift, the driver was ‘Texting’ 1 minute before the accident. (They know he was). Sorry for going off on a tangent, but things like this bother me!

Not suprised Dan won. Far better player than DR. jerk (Will). I do find it amazing how people hated Jerry so much and say he was a nasty man (which by the way he was) but loved Evil Dick. Once again, the finale left us wanting more. I wanted to hear April defend herself against Brian and Steven’s comments, I wanted to see how Libra dealt with all of her enemies being next to her in the Jury house, I wanted to know how Memphis felt about Dan’s strategy. It just sort of ended, we needed more. Does is not get the ratings to have a two hour special?
Did anyone see April’s fake ass smile when Keesha won. LOL, I thought she would fly away the way she was blinking so fast…
Interesting blog this year BBBlogger, a lot of crazy stuff… Hurricanes, earthquakes, spoiler conflict, it was almost as if watching the blog interaction was as high tension as the show….

I really think that Showtime should revamp the After Dark filming when it gets down to the last 2 players. I agree that they should allow a loved one or friend to to visit with them for the last couple of days after they have their Jury questions. It would be more interesting for the fans to watch also. Another idea would be that after the jury questions, they could film back and forth between the Jury house and the BB house since more people and activity is going on in the jury house to watch at that point. It was like watching paint dry the last two or 3 nights with Dan and Memphis! I feel asleep one night to Dan flipping playing cards into the top hat! LOL…
It’s weird.. I’m happy to get my life back and at the same time, I’m going through
BB10 withdrawal! I kinda felt like I lived in that house too! LOL..

But having all these people in your house 24/7 you feel like they are family, I have both Showtime, and the live feeds, so I dont miss anything…I am disabled, and enjoy every minute of the show…..passes my time by so good….but knowing these people and almost living with them, I think the finale should have been at least 2 hours long, within the hour time, they squash everything in so fast, lets hear some feedback from the jurors, and take a look at the HG family and have interviews with them after the big win…that would be nice to see. just to see their faces when they were told about american player, etc…..would have been interesting just to see what they have to say….but enough….really enjoyed the show, CANT WAIT TILL FEBRUARY BB11

So happy Dan won and 7-0 yet. Someone in a previous BBBlogger email said he would win 7-0 but I don’t know who it was. Great foresight! So happy for Keesha winning $25K and like everyone, can’t even fathom Jerry coming in second. Are people crazy? Loved them at least showing a tiny, tiny bit of the horrible person Jerry is.
The last 3 nights could show more of the JH or some past clips would be great. Yes, it was boooring. I’m not sure having family in the hosue would be good. If it was girlfriends, no telling what we would see and if it’s parents, I think that would be equally boring. Most don’t live at home anymore. They certainly could do a lot more with BBAD but it would take some additional editing unless they give us 1.5 hours of the house and 1.5 of JH.
Yes, I agree that a 2 hour finale would be great. Just wasn’t enough finale in the finale. Wanted to see more faciel expressions and verbal comments and reactions. Did Angie say anything at all?

I also think they need to have a longer finale, like Survivor maybe. Julie needs to grill the houseguests with questions about things that took place in the game. And maybe the audience can ask questions. Would be interesting. Don’t just announce the winner and say see you next season…..

I too agree they need a longer show. They can have the jury vote at the top of the show, let the final two out, recap the season and parts they may have missed, then announce the result of the Jury vote at the end since they won’t be able to change their vote by that point. Also make the result show either 90 mins to 2 hours.
Maybe we should let CBS know America has a much brighter idea than they can come up with.

If your able to find someone with Cable or if you have it yourself once you get your TV service back on, Comcast is replaying the last 16 Episodes of BB10 for a short period of time, including the ‘Finale’. You have to search for it in the “TV Series” portion, but it is there! Good luck.

It was an interesting season of Big Brother. There were quite a few celebrity lookalikes to spice the show up. There was Coloniel Sanders Jerry, Susan Sarandon-lookalike Michelle, Tory Wilson-lookalike Keesha, Ms Not-A-Virgin- Madonna- lookalike April, and LL Cool J - lookalike Ollie. What a colorful mix.

Big Brother did a winter edition only because of the writers’ strike. Unless there is another strike that causes the television season to be placed on hold again, don’t expect Big Brother to return at any other time other than the Summer.
Besides, Big Brother & CBS counts on people wanting to get half naked during the summer season as it helps draw in ratings. Even in California, nobody wants to hang outside in the pool (the heated jacuzzi maybe but not the pool).
