Is Dan Blowing His America’s Player Cover?

Happy Sunday morning my fellow followers of the church o’ Big Brother.

The big news for today is twofold: The PoV has been claimed, and a rift could be brewing between our house couple, April and Ollie.

If you don’t want to know about the PoV, turn away now. Otherwise, forever keep your peace, or keep the peace or keep your piece or whatever the heck the saying is!

The PoV competition was held overnight from Friday into Saturday, and the old man finally has a win. Jerry is the holder of ye power of veto, and nobody is expecting him to use it to save Jessie or Memphis. I do wonder what type of competition was held though. No offense, but I expect it was more cerebral than physical, although I’d be pleasantly surprised if the marine kicked a little tail on the physical side of things.

After a night of tense fighting in the Big Brother house, Saturday night was a tad more laid back. April and Ollie are having heart-to-heart convos about the game after a girls confrontation of Ollie and Jessie. April acknowledges she has “feelings” for Ollie that go beyond the game.

Waa, waa, waa, waa.

Michelle in her red unitard, which she has to wear all week, is completely smitten with Jessie, but I suspect you already knew that. As of 2 a.m. BBT Sunday, they’re the only houseguests still up, although I’m hoping nothing gross happens.

Muscles, yuck!

On the America’s Player front, best I can tell, houseguests are catching on to Dan’s newly found status. However, he hasn’t exactly played it like Eric did last summer. Dan’s laying hints like Britney Spears does bodyguards, and his acting is transparent.

In fact, Dan might have completely blown his cover by the time you read this.

As of 2:30 a.m. BBT, it looks like Jessie and Memphis are headed for a showdown deluxe come Thursday. While I hope Jessie goes, I still think it’s the smarter play to oust Memphis. On the other hand, Big Brother has a way of keeping douchebags (hope I’ve offended nobody) around way longer than they should stay.

Save Memphis!

  2. I agree with you. GOODBYE JESSIE! Hopefully Libra will be right behind him. I’m pulling for Dan but I really didn’t think acting was going to be his forte. Does he still get the money if all the houseguests suspect him but he still doesn’t tell??? Have a great end of your weekend!!!

  4. This has been one of the most head to head sreaming matches I’ve seen in the BB house in quite awhile. Not sure how the alliances are going to hold up. Ollie is between a rock and a hard place as long has he keeps following April around. The “Girls” are gonna bug him every time he talks to one of the people nominated. His “game” could be compromised unless he gets out on his own. Time for one of the cryboys to go home.
Too much trash talking in this BB and way to early in the game, make more enemy’s every time you complain, lay low y’all!!

  6. All I can hope for is a double eviction, anyone for a 3x evict? Jessie, Memphis, Michele? That would put a smile on my face. As for Dan, no comment at this point. All I would be able to say is something full of disgust. Ollie is going to pack his own bag is he doesn’t get his gameplay in check. Hook up later, right now there is $500k in front of you. This season may go down in BB history as the most argumentative. I certainly know of some ‘people’ who would be perfect for the confrontational games.

  8. The only reason that Memphis might have a chance of staying is because Keesha likes him and is trying her hardest to keep him in the game. If April wants Memphis out she better let Keesha know that they voted her way last week, will that make a differance not sure. Jesse just might stay and then Keesha and Libra would be on the block and that would not hurt my feelings. I don’t think Dan is the best choice for AP, he really wasn’t on top of the list in his alliance and they are kinda catching onto him. He really hasn’t been pushing for Jesse to go, although he may after the Veto ceremony. I think Eric was indeed a better AP, he just had a better way with words and manipulation, i don’t see Dan being that aggressive in wanting what we want, but we will see i like Dan and hope he goes far.

  10. Now that keesha got her great nemisis Angie away from her prey Memphis, she can move in. Can she be more transparant. If Jesse makes it past this week she’ll get hers big time. She should have taken care of business first.

  12. Jessie kept quite the level head as Keesha was calling him an effin pr— and giving him the double high sign over and over again. Quite the lady this Hooters girl is. All the while Libra’s mouth was at top volume and speed in the background. Even Renny’s cackling reminds me of a fishwife. That old goat Jerry thinks he’s special since he was afforded age consideration at the beginning and now has the answer to everything.
Jessie should stay cause if I have to watch Renny yaking about nothing, Libra painting her nails with her mouth going at 100 mph (about nothing), and Keesha picking at zits while tossing her hair in true bimbo fashion without him there to play them in good Big Brother gameplaying then I will feel that the 3 hours plus a day that I give to this nonsense will be a real waste of valuable time.

  14. I’ve never posted before and have enjoyed this site for the last couple years. My grown children think I’m nuts but my husband is now asking me, “who’s nominated, who got POV?” So I think I have a convert.

To the game, this year has been either totally over the top or totally boring for me. However, I did watch the entire ‘extreme XXX over-the-top pissy fight’ on BBAD and I was amused first and sick to my stomach by the end of it. Did anyone notice how Ollie actually instigated April to go after Libra and Keesha after Jessiekins did his little showdance for Ollie and Keesha? I don’t think Ollie’s smart enough to have planned it but I wonder what his strategy might be?

Libra just can’t control herself and she manages to get everyone to take a turn ranting like maniacs. My husband says she’s an angry woman. I liked her at first and thought she was smart but now she’s simply a maniac and must go soon. Her high test energy even caused Renny to jump on Jerry for what seemed to me nothing at all. Libra wouldn’t let it just settle down and Keesha was right there with her. Jerry had the only sane head and tried to calm the situation but you can’t stop a stampede. I’m happy he won POV. From their discussions it had something to do with hockey.

As for Jessie, he needs to go this week. God, if he was my son, I would be embarrassed by his self-adoration. I love reading everyone’s posts.

Go home Jessie to your mommie!

  18. Question about AP- did dan just get that initial $20K for excepting the challenge or does he also get an additional $10K for each task he completes???

  20. Sorry folks but Jessie should be by-passed in order to take out the stronger player Memphis. Jessie adds value as the joke of the house and the people are responding which keeps the ratings up. Libra is an irritant who needs to go. Keesha continues to make mistakes and her time will come. This turned out to be a sorry cast with no real game players since Brian in week one. Outside of Dan they all seem like jerks. The only thing good about the woman is Keesha and April look great in a bikini.

  22. I see the Keesha haters are coming out of the woodwork! Good for you all. She is a slimey one, she went right to Memphis after Angie left, further supporting my theory that Keesha was jealous of Angie because Steven liked her more and because Angue was hotter.

BBBlogger, I am starting to agree with your take on Renny, though I am still a Libra fan, Renny is getting to be fun. She seemed cool and confident in the interviews, not the high strung person from the first weeks.

Has any one noticed that Dan has changed this week. He seems to be cocky again, bad idea fir him, the humble game was working…..

  24. They all drive me nuts but then again i’m sure if i was in there with them i would be kicked out by now.
so many mistakes have been made. Jessie should have sent Libra home and Keesha should have sent Jessie home so it’d just leave Michelle and Memphis but uh no…so…i guess now Memphis needs to go or he’s going to win. I think i’ve said this about twenty times now. Jessie needs to go soon as does michelle and Libra…
    Ollie needs to be neutered.
Dan should be told to dress up in drag..do some really wild funny things…he’s being boring because America is being boring. I’d have him ask renny to bleach his hair blonde…have him really love it. let him just tell the other’s the stress of the house is making him do these things. I mean just trying to get someone voted out is old hat and boring. He needs to be told to act totally opposite from what everyone expects.
Ollie needs to be neutered…….oh..i already said that….didn’t i?

Mortgage dr, check your spelling before you enter anything!
Were you drinking when you wrote your blog?

If we shaved Keeshas’ hair I wonder what she would play with?

I think these women would argue over flyshit in pepper!

  28. I record BBAD and watch it in the morning while on the treadmill for about an hour. All I can say about last night, the little I saw, is that Michelle is truly a fool about Jessie. I’m actually embarrassed for her because she just doesn’t see that he’s NOT interested at all. However, he needs to talk to someone I guess. She follows him around like a puppy dog and she even pouts. God help us! These showmancers are truly idiots and they are not playing the game. Some of them never even heard of BB before and only saw a few shows or part of a show before coming on. I think Ollie is one of them. They should get fans to play the game, then we would really have something to admire. This group is simply a bunch of bloviating fools except maybe Dan but he’s working on it.

  32. They are making a big mistake not sending Libra home - that mouth of hers never seems to rest!! I can see reasons to send Jessie home - he is such a pain and acts like a brat — I can see reasons to send Memphis home - he is a much better player that we have seen up to this point. Keesha needs to get over herself. Dan is not doing a good job as A.P. April and Ollie - come on - enough is enough - Did Ollie say his Father was a Minister??? Wonder how he is enjoying watching the Feeds - I presume he is watching!!!

  34. i haven’t seen this season all that much just bits and parts thanx to CBS freezing videos agh anyway i think Libra will be the next to go from the looks of it and i think after she leaves Ollie and April are gonna be the next to be targeted they could be a powerful alliance if they played it smart they need to stop seeing each other so much…maybe there argument will do them good maybe people wont think of them as a threat if they play it off right to make it look like there crumbling…….and jerry is my least fav he’s gonna end up wining the game because the players are to dumb to realize there letting him float on by…..get him out all ready!!!!!!

  36. I really think Libra needs to go but she probably won’t. That’s how it usually works. She is the troublemaker. She runs around and tells everybody what to do and just stares at them. Even when April and Jessie hit her up about what she had said to Keesha, she admitted it kind of and then turned it around to someone else. Jessie is a tattle tale but Libra is a snake. Jerry is now getting on my nerves. He just can’t let anything go. And he is getting too “nice” with the young girls.

  38. Is it my imagination or does the camera man or production team for SHOWTIME 2 keep the cameras on Libra more than anyone else?

I’m tired of seeing her face or listening to her big mouth!

  40. Yeah that cameraman is partial to Libra’s big mouth. I really think it’s her cleavage. Keesha gets a lot of coverage too but it’s her butt they likes to focus on. Last night they zoomed right in as she bent over into a bureau. Gimme a break.

I’ve noticed that production seems to be imposing themselves more this season. That may be because they’ve always introduced SHOWTIME2 as being uncensored but my experience during the past few seasons is that you can see hotter stuff on daytime soaps or the CW11.
