Game On! Couples No More & An Evictee Is Returning
Mark down the date and time. As of March 5 at 7:30 p.m. CST, Big Brother 9 finally breathed life.
The couples are dead. Only one person went home tonight. And what the houseguests do not know is that another person will be returning.
Houseguests will be playing the game as individuals from here on out, it appears. This is the way Big Brother was meant to be played. Mano a mano. Mental combat. Each man for himself.
While my personal feelings about the game are generally not relevant, I have had a hard time getting into the season with the couples concept. Don’t like it. In fact, I hated it. Sure, I love twists, but Big Brother is the ultimate individual’s game in that it requires people to be selfish.
Even if you’re a philanthropist, you must be selfish to win Big Brother.
You could be a missionary, and you will have to be selfish to win Big Brother.
And, I love it. Literally, I got chills when the siren sounded, and you know the house was loving it, even though they had no idea what was happening. Matt jumped into James’ arms. James liked it, much to Matt’s surprise.
The only people to look disappointed about the developments were Joshuah and Sharon, and I think it’s that they looked nervous. As HoH, you want your targets gone, and the news that only one of the evicted couple would be leaving must have put them into mental overdrive.
By a vote of 6 to 0, Allison was evicted. However, she will not return home. She will be kept isolated, and America will vote for one of the evicted houseguests to return to the Big Brother house.
Personally, I will be deciding among Alex, Amanda and Allison. My case for each:
Alex — nice guy. Got screwed by being Amanda’s partner. I predict he will be returning to the house.
Amanda — smoking hot. Sorry. There is something very Fran Drescher about her, and I know I just creeped two-thirds of you out.
Allison — now, let me make my case. How messed up would it be to send the person just evicted by a vote of 6 to 0 back into the house to wreak havoc on all of them?
Yes, I think Alex will go back because he’s a nice guy, like Kaysar was in his return several years ago. However, I think Allison is how I will vote because it would be relatively twisted.
And speaking of twisted, Ryan won the HoH competition, becoming the first single HoH. Well, he’s not single; his girlfriend is in isolation.
Oh, how sweet would it be to put Jen back in the house and force her to play against Ryan. Sure, I know that this type of familiarity gave Dick and Daniele an advantage last season; however, I’m not convinced Ryan and Jen are meant to be forever and ever.
So many possibilities! And, did you see the freaking hamster superimposed onto the TV screen during the HoH competition? What was that about?
Too much to talk about at once. However, may I issue my personal thank you to CBS, to Big Brother, Allison Grodner, etc. etc. etc. for doing the right thing and killing this couples baloney. I’m willing to let bygones be bygones and am excited for the rest of the season.

Thank God!! Ok, now I can watch this show again. For the moment, I actually have one person (Ryan) that I like in the house. While I like your nominations BBB I will vote for Parker to come back. Alex, yes is a nice guy, however he was slightly boring. I think Parker is a nice guy as well and breaths some personality in the game where there seems to be a bit (ok a lot) lacking. No matter what, I’m looking forward to the remaining season. It is nice to be excited about the show again

This is exactly what happened on Big Brother UK in a past season and the person selected to return to the House did not last long - the people in the house did not like that twist. Whoever goes back in the house will have a target on their back - most people will see it as an unfair advantage- that they did not or do not have. I have been reading the blogs and the vote for who should return to the house are all over the place - lots of folks want Allison or Amanda for the drama they would cause - many want Alex because he got a bad deal and Parker seems to be getting a number of votes - so who knows who it will be - and yes Jen seems to be getting votes too. Keep Watching!!!!!

I am voted for Amanda to come back and freak out Joshua. Joshua is the least tolerable of any of the houseguests and it seems he would be the most tolerable being gay and all.
THe way Joshua let loose on Amanda brought chills to my bone, chicken skin as we say in Hawaii.
Bring back Amandas to make it hard for Joshua and plus she is beautiful and very easy on the eyes.

Thank goodness….I can actually watch now without cringing!!!! I am sorry to say that I hated this season so much that I couldn’t even bring myself to read about it online or watch AD. That is saying a lot for me, a total BB addict. Thank goodness no more couples!!!! Go Ryan and I personally hope they bring Parker back. Don’t think I can stand Amanda’s voice and I am way over Allison.

Well, a quick feeds report. Ryan spilled the beans on Allison’s side profession as a card counter. He has no idea that Allison could be returning, but Mattie and Adam think the fact that she is a pro card player (gambler, whatever) is super hot.
Also, on PerezHilton.com is at least one photo of Joshuah snorting what looks to be cocaine … Party boy.

Finally this season is interesting! I was so exited last night that something was going on- but it is completely not fair that someone gets to come back in-I mean they got one chance alredy and they lost why do they deserve another chace? the people that are still there only get one chance how is that fair? cbs is gonna do it anyway so since it has to be someone why not jacob He had the shortest time in the house-he had no chance to save himself(no pov)-and think how much sh## he would start with sharon ect.I think cbs is gonna put in who they want anyway it seems as though they always manipulate the game to give the people they want to win a better chance!

Before the game started in Feb. CBS planned to break up the couples so the show would last the full season. I dont think they planed on the couples acting the way they did or how we as viewers would hate the couple thing. But now that part is over with and now the game is on. As for bringing back a player it is a little different than the other times. We had BB players voted of not because of what he or she did but for the action of the persons mate. That said I think the guys will start taking off the girls one at a time. They are so tried of the way they have been acting Mat would love for Nat to leave the house so he could really start playing “his game” we will see.
That is my thoughts take it or leave it.

I think both Parker and Alex were doomed by their partner. I think either of them should come back. I think if Allison or Amanda came back they would be voted out the next week. It would be nice to see Jacob come back and work things out with Sharon. I will probably vote for Alex or Parker. I think they deserve a chance at playing the game without the burden of a partner bringing them down.

To be fair - I would like to see an evictee come back who was eliminated due to their partner’s actions. That would be Parker or Alex. But, then you have the other side of the spectrum of who would stir things up the most. Like Allison or Amanda. Or then again - someone with a current connection to the house. Like Jacob or Jen. Well, I think Jen could be placed in either of the latter two cases. But, I’m personally voting for Parker. He seems laid back, but doesn’t take crap from anyone. He’ll speak his mind when he feels it’s necessary. But, he’s also a people watcher. Now, if any of the houseguests were smart, they would keep Adam or Sheila til the end. They can’t win comps. They haven’t done anything to “deserve” to be there. They certainly would not be chosen to win the money if it came down to the final two. That would be the smart play. Anyway, it’s finally getting really interesting. Thank goodness.

I think Jen should come back. She has probably been humbled and would rock Ryan’s game BIG TIME!!!! Josh and Sharon are scared in my opinion because they cannot play without each other. Neither are very likable people at this point with their constant putting people down and making fun of physical features. Which I do not understand since neither one of them are the best looking people. Yet nobody slams them. In fact a lot of the guests were trying to help Josh with his food issues and dieting-:)

I think bringing a HG back into the house is a stupid idea. I don’t think it matters who they are, they will just be voted out right away. They were voted out! They should be gone. Also, if they are bringing someone back, I wish they knew all the secrets about the players, like James and his porn, the uproar that Adam has caused and the other players’ strategy. They still wouldn’t make it through, but would stir up the house for a bit.

Dang, everyone’s arguments sound good! I also think no one should be allowed back. It took hard work to get them evicted. But then again, it would throw the house for a loop. I can’t see any of them coming back with enough presence or power to keep a target off their back. Typically, they would most likely be nom. soon thereafter, unless he/she came up with a good strategy. Kaysar did a good job until he made the mistake of trusting and released the button for a false promise. I also think BB Producers will manipulate and put back who they think will raise their ratings.
Thurs. BBAD was pretty calm…considering. 1. Sheila surprised me with her crying jag over her loss of Alllison. I’m sure her opinion of her will change once she sees the show and how Alli used her. 2. Ryan really enjoyed his four beers and stayed downstairs to mingle. 3. Josh looked deflated, but he spent some time chatting Ryan up, giving him “hints” about the HOH room. 4. Sharon still walked around with her “luv-luv” blanket (baby blanket) around her neck, and couldn’t stop her repeated folding of the edges as she Always does! Both she and Josh know they are going up on the block.
5. James and Chelsia were probably the most interesting last nite. They met in Sauna to talk over their feelings and possible strategy. Chels told James she new instantly…when Matt jumped into his arms…that they were going to have “The Boyz” Alliance. James reaffirmed his “feelings” to Chels and their short but passionate kiss seemed different than their playful/horny? ones. Chels said if she couldn’t win, she wanted James to. She gave James permission to sacrafice her if it pushed him to finals.
6. Ryan stood up for Nat and thot she was a “sweet chick” who loved Matt and that Matt should be nice to her. Of course, Matt said he had her back and wouldn’t let anyone hurt her. Ryan mentioned he didn’t know who to put up, but Matt said, “Oh, I have the feeling you do.”
7. Natalie showed some spine and told Matt in KT (in front of everybody) that she didn’t have to do his bidding…”I’m not your beotch anymore!” Matt was like..oh, you’ve grown some backbone, I’ve taught you well. Then Nat proceeded to fix him a meal and later mentioned that if she ever got HOH she would invite Matt to sleep there with her.
8. Hgs. are all guessing correctly that someone is probably coming back. Lot of talk about that..mixed with contradicting comments…Jen’s home taking care of Ryan’s dog, Allison’s calling boyfriend to wish him Happy B’day or heading out to Vegas to gamble, etc.
9. No fights, no hot tub, no perversion. Everyone seemed in a perpetual state of semi-shock.
10. Everyone ended up sleeping in their same spots. Except, of course, Ryan. And Shelia moved to the non-cursed boat bed. Everyone seemed exhausted, although later, Chels got up to contemplate the Memory Wall with James joining her.

Finally some sense. I hated the couples thing. Alex is a nice guy, and sentimentally I would want him back. Jen might make for good T&A on youtube. It would be interesting to see Ryan and her as competitors against each other. Maybe Ryan could stand up for himself, for a change. Amanda is good T&A, but I agree with the Fran Drescher thing. I didn’t really care for Parker. He’s too sullen. If they bring back a guy…. Alex!! a girl ….Jen.

I liked Jen a lot plus it would be sweet for her to get to see her boyfriend again. But I think Alex needs to come back because he did nothing to make anyone mad at him, and Amanda was the whole reason why he had to leave, not to mention, he and Matt could get a major alliance going on they have a lot of power.

Hmm…Looks like Ryan really has it out for Sharon, wants her to go home and nom. her with Chels. Nat told Sharon that she, Matt, James, and Shelia would not evict her. She doesn’t know of the “Bro’s Alliance” and that Matt will vote the way Ryan wants him too. Josh also promised to vote the way Ryan wanted him to, but was shocked when James told him that Ryan wanted Sharon gone. Josh thinks he is going to be backdoored. PoV is going to be interesting. I am very excited about BB bringing an evicted House Guest back, however I will be voting several times for Parker. I think Alex is a nice guy, but so was Parker and I want the chance to see him play the game. I felt terrible when he left because of Jen and her stupid mouth. I think that matt would rather be out of that house and in sequester instead of still being in the house and being pestered by Gnat,good thing for matt that big brother did split up the couples or Gnat would have went right along with matt to sequester
