Friday Night’s Alright For FIGHTING!

Fights, fights and more fights.

For those of you without live-feed access, Friday has been one of the more dramatic days in recent Big Brother history. Dramatic is one way to put it. Brilliant is another.

As of 3 a.m. CDT Saturday, the live feeds are unavailable because our houseguests are in the midst of an overnight PoV competition. And THAT means nominations have been made.

So, allow me to catch you up.

Recall the endurance competition and April’s promise to keep Michelle and Jessie from nominations? Well, April did not keep her word, although in her defense I don’t recall her promise to keep Jessie safe as being set in stone.

Yes, Jessie is on the block, and so is Memphis, which I think is a smart move. In fact, April acknowledges that Memphis is the “real target,” although how often do we hear this?

After tonight’s series of fights, all bets are off anyway.

April, Keesha and Libra were among a few others talking about PoV. Our HoH, April, noted that she might have to consider who she’d nominate should Jessie or Memphis win, a comment Libra took to be an insult on behalf of the blonde princess toward her.

Cat fight.

The dutiful and level-headed boyfriend, Ollie, tried to step in and sooth things, but it didn’t work. Soon, April, Libra and Keesha were at each other’s throats in separate incidents.

Like an absolute madman, Jessie says something to Libra, which sets her off, which gets the tornado spinning again. Soon, Michelle was involved and, heck, even Jerry and Renny were fighting. And these weren’t mere debates. This was some high drama.

All the while, Ollie and Memphis chilled while Dan read the good book on a couch. Dan was part of the initial group talking about PoV, and given his status as America’s Player, I’m glad he stayed out of the fray for now.

Alas, the PoV is on like Donkey Kong, and I’m not staying up to see what happens. If one of you would be so kind as to keep us posted in the comments section, that would rock!

  2. What a cat fight indeed, as of right now 4:19 CST the POV is still being fought out. I’ll let you know if I make it through this crazy night. I was watching on BBAD, so I’m sure I missed some of the windoiws but I went back and watched it over again to see who is lying, my conclusion, EVERYONE is a little bit, but unless Jessie comes through that door with the POV, I’d say he’s a goner.

  8. Good! Now I sincerely hope that Jerry does NOT use the pov. This is their chance to get Jessie out of the house, otherwise another week of him and he will be sequestered. He just needs to go back home. Memphis, Michele, Libra - next - I am not too picky on the order of their exit. This is the one house that continually fights..hehe. Good stuff, now let’s see some strategic gameplay people!!

  10. Keesha had a competition with herself trying to see how many times she could use the F word. She was in the kitchen blowing off steam, or the F word if you will, while Jesse and Michelle just grinned like Cheshire cats. Mission accomplished. I was just about to turn it off after they had hugged and kissed and got over it, when it looked like it was starting again.

April is a princess, Keesha just a common bimbo, and Libra the angry black woman. Will there alliance hold together? I’d say until the fingernail polish holds out, when it’s gone who knows?

  14. Just a quick comment……….I think this season may go down to be the MOST combative Big Brother yet. And, why is everyone so against Memphis? Is it because he’s a threat? Is it his name? Or did I miss something about the way he interracts with the houseguests. As far as I’m concerned with who is left in the house, I wouldn’t mind him winning. Of course, this is only in my humble opinion.

  16. Yes I am so glad Jerry won the POV, people have been rude to him, disrespectful to him, and it is about time these young people see that he is and can be very helpful.
And as for Mister Jessie, umm he has to go I hope Keesha,Libra, and Renny stick to their word and get him the heck out of there, next to go should be Michelle, then her and Jessie can hook up, maybe she can see what he is really like???? Libra my hat is off to her for standing up to to Jughead Jessie.. someone had to do it I am glad she did, NOW GET HIM OUT!!!!!!
April, needs to learn to not jump and yell instead ask questions first..

  18. I think with Jesse out of the house there will not be the drama, and isn’t that what we all wanna see. Think about it who they gonna fight with, who is gonna really cause more drama than Jesse, i think he will stay for script. If he doesn’t i guess we will have to watch them fight with each other, that will be fun to watch them devour each other!!

  20. *racinred*…the only one really against MEMPHIS is JERRY, APRIL, and OLLIE. JERRY - for personal reasons, A/O - because they think he is coming after APRIL
    next week

First of all, I give Kudos to LIBRA!!! She is smart (and loud!) She has already figured out that Dan is AP and FINALLY….late this morning, LIBRA and KEESAH figured out that there is a side alliance between J/M/A/O. Both girls are really fighting NOT being loyal to APRIL and voting out JESSIE anyway.

APRIL is making me sick!!! So is OLLIE! The fact that they even Want to allign with MANCHELLE/J.ASS.IE is making them look ridiculous. I loved it when JESSIE yelled at LIBRA….”America is watching!” Little does he know…America is disgusted with him!!

THE SICK ISSUE or MANIPULATION? That the BB DIARY ROOM asked APRIL if she Really Trusted Her Alliance (the seven)?!!!! Then later her and Ollie discussed how the DIARY ROOM said….THEY WERE MAKING BORING TV!!!!….HAVING THE ELIMINATION VOTES ALWAY UNANIMOUS!!!

THEY NEED TO LEAVE THEM THE FLIP ALONE!!! STUPID PRODUCTION!!

Believe me….these people will tear eachother up like they did on BBAD last night as soon as The Seven have to turn on eachother.

  24. Production needs to chill out and let it play out as normally it would. I am convinced production is the reason Angie was voted out last week instead of Jessie

  26. Lord this group must have the intelligence of FRUIT FLIES. Keeping the huge physical threat JESSIE and voting a weak link ANGIE off of the show makes little or no sense at all. Actually KEESHA showed an equal lack of intelligence by not taking ANGIE off the block and putting the as dangerous MEMPHIS up for eviction. One of the two super powers would have gone home and the rest of the players might have had a fighting chance. Me thinks that this evenings vote is going to come back and haunt the other players in the house.

  28. Last year at this time I was in the UK. Talk about BORING. I TRIED to watch the British version of Big Brother and it was just awful.

But I agree, production needs to shut up and let the game play out the way it would if they were left alone, even if they are the most boring group ever. And we thought the couples version was bad. geez

Oh, Lord, please let Jessie go home this week. If I have to watch one more week of him telling everyone how awesome his muscles are and being overly cocky and telling them what he wants them to do, I think I will puke. His mother wears rose-colored glasses when it comes to her disrespectful and classless son. And when he said in his eviction speech last week that he came into the house with nothing but respect, or something like that, I wanted to scream, “So did you leave it outside the door???” He makes me SICK!!!! I swear, I hope my kids don’t act the way most of these “kids,” and yes they are kids, act toward older people. If it were my child, I would be so embarrassed. And if either Ollie or April was my child, I’d disown them. “America Is Watching!!!!!”

  30. Sorry Marla Jo but I rather like the UK version of Big Brother and I also like the American version. I to have had it with Jessie - but I can’t join those who are so fond of Jerry - if he were my father or grand father I would be embarrassed. It is wonderful that he served in the Armed Forces but Big Brother is not the right place to honour that Association. I can’t believe the mouth on Keesha and Libra is not a Joy to behold. To April and Ollie “Canada is Watching!!” I wish Michelle would stop her crying. Dan is okay but I wanted Renny to be AP - I would like Production to allow the game to play out - without their interference!!! In the mean time Carry On Gang!!!!

  32. Sorry I was so late in getting my comment in but I was at a Famiily Outing today - next week-end a family reunion- so I’ll have to take my laptop with me - wouldn’t want to miss any of the excitement BTW - the family is both Canadian and American - and we have rented a Camp Ground - so that all can attend with their RV’s - and of course you can still expect my comments!!!
Wouldn’t want to miss taking part in that. Evel Me - how did you manage to get your avatar on your blog - I am not having much luck.

  38. Jessie kept quite the level head as Keesha was calling him an effin pr— and giving him the double high sign over and over again. Quite the lady this Hooters girl is. All the while Libra’s mouth was at top volume and speed in the background. Even Renny’s cackling reminds me of a fishwife. That old goat Jerry thinks he’s special since he was afforded age consideration at the beginning and now has the answer to everything.
Jessie should stay cause if I have to watch Renny yaking about nothing, Libra painting her nails with her mouth going at 100 mph (about nothing), and Keesha picking at zits while tossing her hair in true bimbo fashion without him there to play them in good Big Brother gameplaying then I will feel that the 3 hours plus a day that I give to this nonsense will be a real waste of valuable time.

  40. Jenna, I put my avatar on here last season, and I really don’t remember now what I did, sorry. But I’m sure BBB will be glad to help you with it, as he did for me last year. :)

1 hour 10 mins until live show!!!
