Dear God: Please Save Amber?
Well, if you watched the on-air episode tonight, you know that Amber and Zach will remain on the block come Thursday. No backdoor, baby, and the Jeddi Alliance, as natvtxn tabbed them, or the Little Julie Chens, as they tabbed themselves, still live on.
BTW, big thanks to all you guys for the daytime updates.
Jessica and Eric are still ga-ga over each other, even though we know now that he does in fact have a real-life girlfriend named Cheryl, who happens to be quite cute. Stunning. Hey, don’t hate the playa, hate the game I always say.
A buddy of mine at work and I discussed this, and I think we’re pretty certain. We can speculate about rumors, hope that there is something else big coming up, but practically, it’s just not likely — not with only 21 days left in the game.
I still think it would have been the greatest twist of all time if Carol had been this unseen Internet love of Eric’s. But then again, I’m twisted.
Zach’s doing his best to campaign for his survival in an almost pathetic manner, like I actually feel a bit sorry for him. I’m twisted, but I do have somewhat of a soul. However, Amber has God on her side, meaning she can rely on spiritual strength and predestination for her survival.
This is a done deal, right?
I mean, Amber does have bigger and better things in store for her outside the house, like a career in modeling? Perhaps to be on the next season of America’s Next Top Model?
Personally, I’ve been clear about not liking Amber’s weepy personality. However, this season of Big Brother has been all about extreme personalities. Joe. Nick (c’mon, he had to have a psyche eval). Jen. Dick. Jameka. And Amber.
I’ll say it now. The strongest, most entertaining personalities the show has produced. Sure, it’s born out of insanity to a certain extent, but I’m looking for entertainment, not utopia.
But dear Amber is clearly suffering still from the meth addiction, methinks. However, as this video I found so aptly communicates, Amber has managed to entertain the BB community this season by the sheer grandeur of her delusions. That she has an equally wacky prayer partner in Jameka makes her survival this week, for the sake of OUR entertainment, an absolute must.

As much as I dislike Amber and Jameka and their constant ridiculous use of prayer, I also think it’s inappropriate how BB uses all of these music clips that are “holy” and “Christianlike” because it seems to be makin a mockery of religion, rather than a mockery of Amber and Jameka. I guess it could be just me, though.

I really want Amber to go. This is just getting to be too much. Too much at P10 and too too much of her thinking Eric is Evil because he didn’t use the POV on her. Paleesee! Just give me a break. I feeling like she is making a mockery of Christianity. I truly feel she is doing all of this praying and carrying on to make the viewing public see her as something she is not. I don’t know what kind of a person she is, but speaking as a Christian, I do not find it necessary or even attractive to walk around using it. Religion is a private thing that most people observe by doing the right thing most of the time and trying to be the best person they can. We all fail miserably sometimes, but we ask forgiveness and go on. Most people don’t put it on display and I am just not sure how Christian she is being. JMO!

I think Amber needs to stay. This is the only way she will ever be able to get a leg up in life, although she could do public service announcements to show America’s children what happens to your brain on crack. I can’t imagine that poor girl interviewing for a job. I believe Jess and Eric made a big mistake not taking out the E.D. and Daniele. They have again let is slip by them. Katie, I definitely agree. They should have split up JEDDI for sure. I just really was afraid that Jess wouldn’t have the courage to do it. Her game so far has been walking a straight line in the middle and not rocking the boat. She is well liked in the house but it is getting down to the end and D&D know they have to split them up. They know Jess is likeable but I think they will try to get Eric out next. Don’t know, just my thoughts.

I had my doubts and THEN….(my kids wanted to know why I was yelling at the tv?). I had to explain tv producing and I was So PISSED! Well, small cracks are starting to show. . . 1. the girls (A.J.J.) are on ST2 figuring the Eric/A.P. thing out Right NOW! Go girls, youre on the right track! If Zach could win the HOH he could put up
D and D so at least one of them could go home even if one of them wins the veto, the others could vote out the other while there is still enough people to vote in their favor. D and D are coming after Jessica, and she may need the others to vote in her favor to stay in game.
If D and D don’t stick to their aggrement now then others can put them up on the block. They will have to work as a team to achieve this.

If D&D were put up this week and/or either Amber or Zach taken off and D or D put in their place, then, Jameka, Amber and Zach would have banded together. Amber is very competitive and we’ve seen she can win in the competitions…she’s aggressive.
It’s simply better to go with the JEDDi alliance till the Final Four. Then the four of em fight it out. I know there’s talk amongst the JEDDi alliance to get rid of Jessica when ED and D talk and get rid of Dani when Jess and Eric chat….but, they are all decently savvy players and will see the best route is to keep the alliance in tact then let it be where the chips fall in F4. Any deviation from that puts any one of the JEDDi team at risk of being evicted prior to F4.
And PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get Wamber out of there! Guess if she had the PoV and Eric was on the block, she’d take him off??? NOT… but, that would be AOK in her warped mind …she’d still feel like she had a soul and wasn’t evil.
Wamber needs to be evicted ASAP and hopefully will be!!
And, to another subject, I am tired of Dani’s whiney..attitude…but, something tells me her and Nick are really going to get together after the show and become a couple.

I truly hope this is her week to go I have had enough of the tears and the praying. CBS really should provide some professional help for her after the show .
Eric should have used the POV and Zach and put up Dani …. that would have been the smart thing to do . By not doing so he has left Jess and himself very vulnerable. Eric better hope he pulls the HOH out of the bag this week. Because Dani will turn on them if she gets HOH. Dick and Dani have already been saying they need to get her out because of her… so they think… alliance with Jameka. The HG really should have broke the D&D alliance up a long time ago. Bad relationship or not there is no stronger bond than blood. They for sure have each others back.
I saw that shameful double team job that Jameka and Amber where doing on Jess … I really think it is funny that these two point fingers at everyone else about being liars and cheats and Amber does nothing but lie lie lie . Jameka doesnt really out and out lie she just trys to put doubt in peoples minds with all of her “what if”. But I guess that is the appeal of the show to see what depths people will sink for a little money.

I don’t agree that if Amber goes Jess goes. Amber promised on her daughters life that she would never nominate Danielle if she got HOH. I think the best chance of getting rid of D&D is for Amber to go. I really hope neither of them get HOH next because I just don’t know what they will do. If Zach wins HOH he could possibly put up D&D. But who knows. He says what he thinks people want to hear. He tried to tell Jess that she needed to break them up, to save himself of course. But then tells Dick he wants to backdoor Eric. Maybe he is mad at Eric for not using the veto to save him. If D&D and J&E end up in the final 4 it will really come down to who wins the HOH. That will determine which team breaks up first.
I don’t have access to the feeds so I only know what I read. I’m not sure though that Jess is buying what Amber and Jameka tell her though. She has heard it all before but she still trust Eric. I wonder if she is just playing them to get them on her side. She can’t play for HOH and neither can Jameka. If she gets nominated, she is going to need their votes, assuming Amber would still be there and neither one of them would be nominated against her.

If you’re watching BBAD, I think you’ll agree with me. I don’t know who is the biggest threat now - D & D or Amber and Jameka. The God warriors are tag teaming Jess, telling her all kinds of nasties about Eric and telling her they are sure Eric has a secret alliance with D & D and that Eric and Dick have a secret alliance to take each other to the final two. D & D are fighting a lot now, so this is seeming possible to Jess. Add to that the fact that Eric has playfully called Jess and bitch and a whore (which Jameka and Amber have pointed out to her over and over again) and Jess is beginning to wonder what has she gotten herself into. She’s doubting Eric and her alliance with D & D. She tells Jameka and Amber she wanted Eric to use the veto and backdoor one of the D & D alliance, but she never told Eric that. She only threw it out as a possibility when they were discussing whether or not to use the veto.
Eric told Amber and Jameka that it was going to be up to Jess whether he used it or not. He pointed out that when Dani was HOH, Dick ran the show for her. He specifically said he didn’t want to do that to Jess. What do J & A say to Jess? “It’s like he was HOH, not you!”
Amber tells Jess how she used (used?) to be a master manipulator, so she recognizes exactly what Eric is doing. The fact is, she is still a master manipulator and is manipulating Jess. They are selling her on a 3 girls alliance - and they believe they can get Dani to go along since she is fighting with Dick. This is a dangerous game they’re playing. They also believe they can get Dani to vote for Zack instead of Amber. I hope they’re wrong because if they’re not, they’re going to throw the house into terrible chaos.
As a humorous moment, Dick, Eric and Zack played chandeliers against Amber, Jess and Jameka (which helped to bond the girls even more). D, E, and Z started early and one of the things they made Eric do if he lost was to go up to the HOH room (where Jess, A & J were discussing Eric unbeknownst to him), and say to Jess “Saddly up, bitch, I’m ready to ride!” This did not go over well with Jess and she is holding Eric at arm’s length.
When they were all playing, the girls told the boys if they lost, they had to kiss each other. If you missed Eric kissing Dick or getting kissed by Dick, you really missed it! Personally, I think Zack is gay and he was enjoying it all.
Amber needs to go home or all hell breaks lose.

To bring you up to date: once Eric left DR @ 3a.m., he immediately found Jess and kept asking her questions about her convo w/ A/Ja. I told you BB would tell “America’s Jester” EVERYTHING! So, during one of her many “Eric Time” she revealed all! (too bad she doesnt know about D/D feelings of breaking JEDDi, bcuz this could bite her bad! Jess was a good BB Puppet & obeyed her master(s)! Amber will be voted out BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, Eric hinted tn Jess about his AP status! So we know now Eric wont let Jess “tear” JEDDi…he wants his $ and credit for being Best Liar In BB History! Whats DELICIOUS is Eric wil be made out so bad (ie: GREED, USER, LOSER, etc…) ultimately, The Fool will BE A FAILURE! (hes made too many mistakes/under BB’s thumb). Amber & Jameka are working together to keep Amber in the house. By going to Jess, the weakest link (some think) they believe they have more of a chance of splitting up at least one solid team. They cannot penetrate D&D whether or not they’re fighting, but casting shadows of doubt with Jess against Eric would be easier. Dani may be annoying with her whining, but she is a very smart player.
Now…I’ve never been a fan of Jess. I think she’s adorable and very sweet although her voice drives me nuts. But I don’t think she’s stupid. She latched onto Eric in the very beginning because she thought he would take her farther in the game than she could take herself, and she was right. But now, everyone left in the house is a threat. Amber needs to be evicted this week. Tag-teaming Jess between herself & Jameka could prove successful, so she needs to go. Plus, please God, do your thing for the viewers and get her some jewelry cleaner. That necklace has GOT to be nasty by now.
I’d like to see D or D get HOH and take out Eric or Jess. Zach is like water and will take the shape of whatever container he’s in. Should he win HOH, AND if Dick votes to keep him in this week, he could be talked into putting up Eric & Jess since they went after him this week. And wouldn’t it be nice if that week were a double eviction??? =^^=

Like I said earlier Jess is just using Jameka and Amber. She trusts Eric and after she talks to J&A she tells him everything they say.
No one can say for sure who will be going next. It all depends on who wins HOH. Plus things change in this house by the minute. I mean we all thought Dick was going home the last time he was nominated but at the last minute everyone decided to vote for Dustin to leave. I think the only way Jess will leave, and that is still not a positive, would be for D or D to get HOH. Jess is smart to try and make the girls think they can have an alliance. If she can convince Danielle to join it would be great for her. She could save herself. I think she is smarter than most give her credit for.
I didn’t like Jess at all in the beginning. I can hardly believe I’m saying these things about her now.

I hope Jess does have a handle on what Jameka and Amber are doing she has come so far to lose it over these two . I really didn’t care for her in the beginning either her little girl voice got on my nerves. But watching her play the game I have changed my opinion of her. She does well in the comps , she hasnt made any real enemeies (except maybe Zack this week) So for me I think she is the one to beat in this game.
I really don’t really want to think about next week yet and who goes home … I just really want Amber to leave the house this week and BB please stop playing the church music … it is bringing us down.

First, Natvtxn, as far as BB playing the “church” music when they show Whamber or Jameka praying, my wife and I personally find it hysterical. They are both SOOOOOO hypocritical and condescending about using God. It’s really pathetic. I’m sure the Big Guy upstairs is not amused. “God bless you God”, “I want to taste you God”. Them bitches are WHACK!!!!
Also, Eric knows that this was NOT the week to turn on D&D. It would have been a bloodbath if it backfired. Now next week? That’s another story….

I see what you are saying about him turning on D&D but he is taking a BIG risk that they are not going to do the same . Eric HAS to get HOH this week and Jess the next week otherwise I think they will both be up together next week . D&D find Jessica WAY more of a threat than Eric so she most certainly will be gone if D&D get HOH.
I husband can’t stand when Amber and Jameka are on … last night he got up and left the room during the PO 10 till after Amber was gone and when he saw the clip of Jameka in the HOH on her knees crying and praying he said well that is enough for me I am going to bed .

If D&D get HOH this week, getting Jess out would be difficult. They would need Jameka for that, and that’s unlikely. They might be able to get Eric out since Jameka doesn’t trust him, but then she’d be making a deal with (in her mind) the DEVIL. But if Whamber goes this week, Jameka might be convinced to take out either Jess OR Eric since she knows they tok out her only true frine in the whole world.

Yes, I would be happy if Dick is sent home but I don’t think it will happen, not just yet. The network needs the ratings for the next few weeks so they won’t let it happen.
It may be only a summer show, but ratings do count.
I thought last night’s Showtime live feed was quite interesting. Whether you like Amber or not, she is an optimist at the very least, always wishing for the impossible but thinking things will work out for her.
She and Jameka were playing the game well, casting doubt in Jessica’s mind and rightfully so. Jessica made a grave error in not putting up D and D this week and she should have convinced Eric to use the veto to backdoor one of them. Eric was too arrogant and honestly thinks D and D are on his side. This mosve will backfire on Jessica because Dick or his daughter will put Jess, or Eric, or both on the block next week if Daniele wins HOH. These two are out to win at any cost. I sometimes wonder if the constant bickering and arguing between D and D is real, or is it just a tactic they are using in playing the game. I think CBS wants them in for ratings and they are working together so that at least one wins the game and they split the take. We will have to see what happens. Whatever happens, if Daniele wins HOH Jess and Eric are goners! Amber has to stay this week because she is the only one who has a chance at beating Daniele in the HOH competition. She has come in second a few times and I think is now so desperate to stay, she will fight to the end to win HOH.
The quarter game was amazing. I think “Eric doth protest too much” when being kissed by the other guys. I think his overreaction was very telling.
Just think how exciting D and D’s lives will be if they win the money. They can move out of their single wide and get a nice double wide in a better trailor park.

in regurards to Whamber and Jamika… I have know a few people ove the years that at one time in their life they were strung out on drugs then found “ME” (I really ought to hide better) and just as they got hooked so badly on drugs, they got hooked on God just as badly… some people need something to get them through the day… Me, Chi or Green Tea does it… and a joke or two…
Funny story…
When I was in the military I supervised a person who had found “ME” after a life of sex-drugs-rock and roll to the extream… and now it was God to the extream… Well I wanted to put this person in chanrge of a newbie that was being assigned but because of some problems with paperwork, a few documents needed to be back-dated to show a continous train of supervision…
Well my goddly troop wouldn’t sign the back dated paperwork stating that that would be a “Lie” and God wouldn’t approve, and he would go to hell…
Well, back then, it wasn’t widely known that I was God, so I found myself in and arguement with him, telling him that this was a “Good Lie” that “God” would approve of… After all, it was fxing a problem, and that’s a good thing…
Nothing I said could sway him… He was not going to hell, although I think he found his own personal hell on earth… in the end, I ended up signing the paper work, Yes, I lied… but a good lie… and who know, perhaps I will end up in hell… but that’s ok, if I can survive marrage, then Hell should be a breeze…

I have to Tivo to fast forward through weepy Amber and her proselytizing. As a non-evangelical Christian, I am insulted that she thinks God give a rat’s ass if she wins. Is she going to spend it on charitable causes or will she start her own meth lab. I do feel Jameka is sincere in her religion despite her hoochie mama outfits. I even think she would spend a good portion on the money doing something to help people. I just wish they had backdoored Dani. She is a good enough liar to win and I’d rather see Jessica get it. I am intrigued by Zach though, there’s more to him than what we’ve seen.

Funny board today, folks! As the minutes tick tock in the BB house, there will be deals all over the place. I also agree that Dani would kick Dick to the curb if it meant her furthering herself in the game. Like her or not, she is playing an excellent game and trying her best to keep it impersonal. It has to be impersonal, else you lose sight of the goal. If Dick were smart, he’d do the same. Jameka will be in a world of hurt if Amber leaves, but she’ll latch tighter on to Jess as Jess is with Eric. Then the three of them would be against Zach, D&D, unless Eric can see his way to stop sucking on Jess long enough to see the final goal of this game.
I would still love to see D&D in the final two. The jury would have to vote for the lesser of the two evils…but if you think about it, that’s how it will be no matter who is in the final two. “Good people” is subjective since Amber has no idea that she has received more criticisms than anyone in the house - even Dick. Again, like him or not, he is who he is and he’s the same guy today as he was when he entered the BB house. Amber & Jameka are not. =^^=
