Big Brother 11 Blog

Yes. I watched on Sunday….and I still have a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. How did Adam win Big Brother 9. Either he is the smartest player to ever play Big Brother or he just was always “never a threat” and people thought he was just window dressing the whole season.

All I know is after the first episode….I was NOT an Adam and Sheila fan. In fact, I am still wondering if the house is kicking themselves for not getting rid of them early in the game. I know that initially it seemed like that would happen and part of me is a little sad it didn’t. We would have had a much different ending to Season 9. The final 3 would have been Ryan and 2 other house guests and for sure a different ending.

So was Adam deserving? The easy answer is yes. He won. He lasted to the end and was able to get the Jury to side with him.

As far as the finale, it was nice seeing old house guests in the crowd. It was nice to see the first house guests who were eliminated and everyone all getting back together.

So here is where I believe CBS really drops the ball…why do they not have another hour to the show (or even 30 minutes) to talk with the house guests and get their take from what all happened. I do understand that the final 2 would have been cut off from the world and to thrust them into a live TV show setting after leaving the house would be a little tough….but still…I think the fans should be able to hear from the house guests about their experience.

Overall, it was an interesting season. I give props to CBS for trying something new with the pairing them up as couples angle…..however, I think it was not as well received due to the success of Big Brother 8 and the generic feel to all the personalities in the house. They were all young and single and looking for love (which makes sense however it did not make for very good Big Brother watching).

So here is where I am….Big Brother 9 is done. I am looking forward to Big Brother 10. I am going to make sure the blog is back and better than ever with some new features. (that I cannot share with you quite yet but they are AWESOME!)

Tonight either Adam or Ryan will be crowned the winner of Big Brother 9. From the looks of it on our POLL the readers of our blog think Ryan will win with a vote of 4-3. The next most popular thought is Adam will win 4-3 so basically…it is going to be close. Happy Earth Day everyone! Every TV station has gone green. Well for the record, my blog has always been a shade of green so I am WAY AHEAD OF THE CURVE! I am so glad you all are a part of our blog and come here for your Big Brother fix!

So here is what we know…Ryan won POV…Then the feeds went down for quite awhile. Much internet chat about them being down until Wednesday, etc, etc, etc. That is why I thought the BB9 house went dark.

Well…they came up and one of the 2 ladies DID get evicted (you will find out tonight if you do not know) so currently there are 3 people left.

The final HoH competition has begun and well lets just say it should be an interesting night.

So without saying too much, all I am going to say is you find out who is gone tonight, then Wednesday we will know the final 2 and well after that we have the Finale on Sunday! So who is going to win? Ryan is by far the strongest left in the house. I see it as his game to lose.

We are down to 4. Here is how I view the Big Brother 9 final four.

1. Ryan - strong player. Was on his wait out the door being “attached” to Allison. The “buzzer” intervened and he was saved. I personally think he is set to win this puppy. But as you know it all depends on the final HoH and who goes to the end.

2. and 3. Adam and Sheila - Wow. How are these 2 still in this game? From being paired up together to starting off the show at each others throats. I thought they would need a restraining order to break these 2 apart. (Ironically they are currently chained together for 24 hours) If these 2 were smart they would work together and finish the game together. They would make it to the final 2 but at this point….I don’t think they can work together.

4. Sharon - I am personally hoping for a Sharon miracle and a surprise win of the BB9 game in an upset victory. However, I am thinking that her sliding through will probably end on Tuesday. She was with the Josh, James, Chesia alliance and even if she makes it to the final 2 she probably will not have enough votes to win. My guess is she will be the next HG on the jury.

So…that is how I am seeing the game. Adam and Ryan are probably going to be the final 2 with Sharon leaving Tuesday and Sheila leaving Wednesday. These perdictions are dependent on POV and the final HoH.

So with that being said…how do you see the rest of the season playing out. We are less than 2 weeks. My last post was after Sheila won HoH…which in my mind made this week one of the most boring in BB history. I mean…from Adam and Sharon going up on the block…to Sharon leaving tonight…what could have made it more predictable?

Well…with the POV nothing is ever for certain. Adam won the POV (which I have to say impresses me) and smartly removed himself from the block. Allowing Sheila to replace him with Natalie.

So….will Natalie get backdoored? That is the question of the day. Is she going to go to the sequester house and have a loving reunion with Matty? (at least in her mind)

Or will things end as predicted…with Sharon finally being evicted from the Big Brother 9 house. Our diary room is open…who will be evicted? Who will be the HoH of the Final 4? Who is going to win Big Brother 9?

I look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas for the last couple weeks of Big Brother 9.

So James had nine lives in the Big Brother 9 house, however last night was his 9th and final. He was evicted 3-0 which in my mind is no shock. James was a very strong player but as many people have stated and even James himself said…it was the house vs. him and well…it was his time to go.

Leaving us all with the final 5 houseguests. The fight for HoH is setup as a nice endurance test….however after some wheelin and dealin….Shelia is given the opportunity to be HoH. Not a bad move on Ryan’s part strategically but sure did not make for much of an endurance competition! (I still remember Dick vs. Zach all night long!)

So once Sheila was given the HoH, I said the following sentance in the Big Brother Blog chat room…

“Oh great…that means Shelia is HoH, Adam and Sharon put on the block with Sharon leaving next Wednesday!”

As of right now, I am close to be right on….the only possible monkey wrench in making this just another very predictable week in a fairly stale season of Big Brother would be if Sharon were to win the Power of Veto. I am thinking that it will not happen and things will happen exactly as I have guessed. I am feeling like The Great Karnac now!

So what do you think…how will this week go down? Any hope for a new alliance or getting a power player like Nat backdoored? Hmmmm?

Hello all of my Big Brother Blog faithful. I know that my updates have been quite random to say the least…one here…one there….
so to keep you a little more up to date I invited my friend from one of my first websites I created to post her opinions on the BB9 house over the past week.

She has been working with me since BB8 and does a great job updating the live feeds…yes…every day…through thick and thin she is posting so that people will be “in the know”. The address of my other site is Must See TV (www.Must-See-TV.com) and we provide daily live feed updates and recaps. Her screen name over there is IHaventSaidEnough and I think she does a great job of providing the goings on inside the house.

So without further promotion…here are her thoughts from this past weekend with Adam as HoH!

Warning…there are some spoilers below. If you do not want to know who wins POV then do not read until after the show tomorrow!

This weekend in the Big Brother house… hmm. When Ryan won the PoV competition, my heart sank. It was obvious what would happen on Sunday during the PoV ceremony. Ryan would take someone down (that someone would then owe him a favor) and Adam would put James up as the renomination. I was interested to see how James would handle things. It was obvious even to him what was going to happen.

James has gone back and forth on the campaigning thing. He has started to campaign but then he accepts his fate. He says he is okay with leaving and he talks about seeing Chelsia but then something inside of him gets fired up and he tries to save himself. I don’t know if there is anything he really can do at this point to save himself. James has impressed me overall with keeping his cool and making his best efforts. I just wish he would make up his mind if he is coming or going and act just that one way !

Other than the block goings on this weekend was, as it tends to be closer to the end of a Big Brother season; kind of boring. The house guests received some toys, and they put them to good use. There was some beer to be had but because Ryan was injured and taking medication for it he couldn’t have any. Natalie was asleep and no one rushed to wake her. And Sharon didn’t want any per her usual. So the remaining three, Natalie, James and Adam shared the 5 beers.

There was some silliness to be had this weekend also. I think the house guests are getting bored and finding any way to entertain themselves (including talking about Adam’s parts and Natalie’s fear of them- yikes). Everyone is getting along as well as can be expected. There is a lot of trash talking James. James really only talks with Sharon other than that he has been keeping to himself or just remaining friendly. I wasn’t a big fan of Josh but he added a certain something to the house that I only noticed when it was missing.

It was not the “suprise of the season” like some thought it could be. It was supposed to be setup to be a “Dustin II” but it was far from it. When Julie Chen read Joshuah’s name as the evicted house guest, he nodded, stood up and shared what was on his heart. At first I thought it was lame but after thinking more, it was a classy way to go. Much differnet than Chelsia’s exodus from the game.

The vote was 3-1. I guess I was surprised that James voted for Sharon but as he showed in his goodbye tape and in hugging Joshuah before he left…he did lose a friend and part of his alliance tonight.

So…any one else guess that not only would the remain “couple” be Adam and Shelia? Plus with Adam being HoH…I am thinking they will still be together in the final 5. If Adam was smart (and I am STILL trying to give him the benefit of the doubt on that) he would start really partnering with Sheila and they will be the final 2. Ironic since after the first episode I would have said they were both done right away. Crazy how this game toys with our thoughts…

So with Adam my guess is James is a man who will have to do anything to survive. Will they nominate him or just try to back door him with the Veto.

Chelsia is quite the firecracker! She decided to use her 5-0 eviction to let everyone know what she was thinking…

I have to admit, for an outcome that all of us saw coming a mile away (you did not really think Sharon was in danger did you??) it sure was still entertaining to watch.

Between mashing up a bowl of hard boiled easter eggs to telling Shelia she had been “rode hard and put away wet” on live TV while she was walking out the door. WOW!

I found Chelsia to be cute and fun to watch but it was her time to go….and you the readers agreed.

Now James…man…I seem to keep going back and forth…I think he is a great player then I see him vote to evict his girlfriend, soul mate, love interest, partner in the game. I am not sure why he voted to evict her? Strategy wise it makes no sense at all. I must have missed a subplot somewhere. I guess the whole she voted for me so I am going to vote for her is probably it…but he also seemed to not like her self destructive behavior. I also found it interesting that Chelsia said she was sad that James came back? Ironic!

After her dramatic exodus from the house they played a weird politically themed game of who would…and Nat was able to finish first.

Natalie, Natalie, Natalie….she is quite the character. It is tough not to love her…she is so all over the board and yet still doing very well in this game. I think she is representing the Beaver State very well. I am confident that James is a target…it would be smart for her to set him up to be back doored but who knows what will happen. Guess we will find out soon enough.

Big Brother 9 continues to roll on and James is becoming quite the unstoppable force in the BB9 house. Our poll over the past week also shows that most who read this blog agree with over 1/3 of the votes saying he IS the strongest player. Winning POV and removing himself from the block leaving his girlfriend Chelsia to remain and hope that the rest of the houseguests will show Sharon the boot instead.

The best part of tonights episode was the return of the Evil one himself Dick Donato came back to host the POV in which was a pivital one in the BB8 show. It was fun. My favorite comment by far was when he stated that he was using the “EXACT SAME POT” he used from last fall. Too funny. It was nice seeing him back in the house…he looked right at home and it was fun to watch the POV tonight.

So with all of that James is safe and going to be gunning for the HoH once either Sharon or Chelsia leave the house. Has Chelsia thrown in the towel and accepted that fact that she will probably be gone tomorrow night? Or will Sharon be this weeks victim of eviction?
