I know that you are all expecting no more emails from me and I PROMISE that this will be the last one until I hear more about Big Brother 9, but I want to help you out with going through your Big Brother Withdrawls.

I have opened a brand new website for all my Big Brother fans. It is called Big Brother Videos and can be located at http://www.big-brother-videos.com! (matching domians with big-brother-blog.com!)

Basically, I have found a bunch of wrap up interviews and just Big Brother themed videos for all my faithful Big Brother Blog patrons.

Also, I have added its seperate email list to update you if new videos are added. I expect that this site will be very active for Big Brother 9 (and beyond) but until then be sure to visit, bookmark it, sign up for the mailing list and then come back here and share your opinion by commenting on this post.

So I am not sure anyone else is still feeling empty….like something is missing from their lives. Its like the time invested over the past 3 months has not come to a stop and many fans of the Big Brother TV Show have started to integrate back into their lives! Officially…Summer and BB8 are over…however, the fun can continue.

On Wednesday 9/26 @ 6pm PDT, America’s favorite showmance will be live and ready to chat with you. That’s right Jess and Eric will be on the live feeds (which are no longer live but they are still showing the whole season once again!) and will be interviewed for your enjoyment. OK…so I am going to be honest. I have not been watching Big Brother tonight. The reason is I almost do not have to since the best information is contained in all of the comments to these blog posts!

First off I would like to appologize for the site being down tonight. It seems that since there is a live HoH competiton that after the show on CBS is done….people want to know what is going on. Well….everyone came to Big-Brother-Blog.com and thus crashed my server. Well…not so much crashed it but made my hosting company so worried that they had to suspend my site for melting the server. After 3 hours of phone calls and chatting I was able to tell them to bring them back up. I am going to be upgrading the servers to make sure these last 7 days are outage free!

As far as the HoH competition, I know the following (and since I am not watching could be WAY WRONG). Daniele is out and broke a rabbit. (I have no clue what that even means) I know Zach and Dick are at each others throats and still each have a hand on a key. I know Dick had to piss really bad and almost wet himself.

For those of you who didn’t know, Daniele won the PoV this weekend, and she’ll be using it come Tuesday night on herself.

Jameka is headed home.

We’ve heard that the final HoH of the season is an endurance competition, but we have also heard there is more than one competition left. Might there be a PoV at the end? It seems to me in past years that whoever won HoH basically picked who was going to the finale with him.

So, let’s talk strategy here. If you’re each of the remaining houseguests, presuming Jameka is evicted Tuesday night, who do you take to the finale with you?

If I’m Daniele, I take Zach. Why? You don’t want seven jury members thinking even for a second that the source of my success was my father. I won multiple PoVs, multiple HoHs, and I had the balls to evict my own father.

If I’m Dick, I take Daniele. Why? It seems all the bad Dick did this year was in the name of protecting his daughter in the game. If he were to boot her now, should he have the opportunity, he’d just seem like a crass %$^#$@! He needs to bring Daniele with him so the jury members can make that connection between her success and his existence.

If I’m Zach, I take Dick. Look, it’s no guarantee that Zach would win because, historically, houseguests have frowned upon rewarding “floaters,” and Zach would technically be considered a floater. However, Daniele would destroy him in a final vote. Destroy.

Right now, if I’m guessing reality and not strategy, I say a Zach-Daniele finale results in a Daniele victory, possibly 7-0, a Zach-Dick finale results in a close Dick win, and a Dick-Daniele finale results in a stunning Dick upset. I just think in a finale vote situation, Dick will get a lot of the credit for maintaining an environment that made it possible for Daniele to succeed.

As most of you have been discussing, the Big Brother 8 Final Four now has its HoH and nominees. So, for those of you who don’t know, guess who is guaranteed a spot in the Final 3?

Zach. He’s the new HoH.

I’ve told folks before how much Kendra from The Apprentice impressed me in Season 3, floundering around under the radar and then kicking butt when it counted. Zach is doing the same thing right now.

His first line of business was to nominate the Donatos, which has sent them into a tizzy. They’ve gone from lovin’ Zach to hating him, just like that. And, they know that one of them must win Saturday’s PoV, otherwise, Daniele is almost sure to be gone.

Meanwhile, Zach and Jameka have made a Final 2 deal.

Wow, this just has my head spinning. Zach the floater, and Jameka — who believes the game was preordained from the beginning — might be our finalists.

On the other hand, if either Dick or Daniele wins, Jameka is headed home. That’s a guarantee, and it’s almost a certainty that if Dick or Daniele were to win the next HoH, they’d take the other one with them.

With that said, if my logic is right, and I’m understanding the house vibe right now, our finale will be either Dick vs. Daniele or Jameka vs. Zach. Period. Them’s the combinations.

Agree? Disagree? Is this a disappointment? Or do you think something will change between now and Tuesday?

An Active Blog community covering Big Brother 8

Took a couple days off for the Labor Day holiday, which has always struck me as odd. I never seem to labor on Labor Day.

However, the Big Brother 8 houseguests are definitely at work. Most of you know that the nominations have stayed the same. Jessica and Jameka will stay on the block after Daniele won the Janelle-hosted PoV.

What many of you have come to realize is that Dick and Daniele have decided Jessica is going home but that they will be telling Jameka she is. Jessica has gone so far as to ask Eric if she should even pack, which could be super awkward come Thursday.

So, as of right now: Jessica is definitely headed home. However, on the feeds, it might seem like Jameka is because Dick had a conversation with our favorite Maryland school counselor that she would be headed to the jury house. Jameka goes and tells Jessica, which actually serves to raise her suspicion.

I’m not totally sure where Eric stands on this, but he is sure to be upset when Jess is evicted, and this could either thrust him into madman status, making him super dangerous in the final couple of competitions or render him useless. I’m betting on useless, but let’s see what the boy’s made of, k? It’s a chance for America’s Player to step up.

What the houseguests don’t realize, of course, is that two people are going home on Thursday. But, alas, for this week, Dick and Dani plan to eliminate Jess and then make sure Eric goes next week, which would leave the Final Four as Dick, Daniele, Zach and Jameka.

However, life just isn’t that simple. What if Eric wins HoH?

He’ll almost certainly put up Dick and Daniele if Jess goes, and the house would be foolish beyond foolish to keep Daniele. In other words, I kinda think the goings on of the past couple of days will cost Daniele the game if Eric can manage a win over D&D.

On the other hand, is anybody here willing to bet that Eric can beat Daniele? I’m not.

So, unless Eric wins the HoH after Jessica is evicted, presuming it all stands as-is through Thursday, Mr. Stein will likely be headed to the jury house same night as his princess.

While that spells good news for D&D, I’d say they shouldn’t count those chickens before they hatch. Even if Jess and Eric go bye-bye this week on Thursday’s double-eviction episode, Dick or Daniele would still have to win the next HoH.

If Zach or Jameka were to win it, either one of them, they would put up D&D.

Look, there are many scenarios here. However, for everybody who has maintained that Dick and Daniele have played this game at the utmost level of honesty throughout, even relatively, it’s time to rethink. Jessica’s elimination will actually be THE back-stab of the season given the agreement from three weeks ago.

Hey, in my book, it’s good game play, but I never said I admired honesty in Big Brother to begin with, and that’s why I think it would be absolute justice if D&D ended up in the finale together. They have played, I think, a masterful game, particularly if they get that far.

However, if I can be flip-floppy here, I also am not convinced we won’t see Zach or Jameka in the finale. If either goes up against Daniele, they lose. But either one of them will beat Dick.

Strangely enough, right now, I think Dick would beat Daniele in the finale.

Your thoughts? You have a good Labor Day?

Zach had been pretty transparent in terms of who he planned to nominate in his first stint as HoH, and on Friday, he fulfilled that plan by putting Jessica and Jameka on the block.

Jess’ reaction? She apparently was peeved because she told Zach to be a man and look her in the eye when he nominated her. Little do they know, the real plan is to back-door Eric.

And little do they know that Dani is workin’ Zach something fierce, trying to work out a deal to save her and her father this week.

Could be an interesting 24 hours in the Big Brother house!

The plan was for Jessica, Eric, Dick and Daniele to go to the Final Four together.

But, what can we say? Zach happens.

After Amber was bounced from the Big Brother 8 house Thursday night by a 3 to 1 vote, the houseguests embarked on a tortuous little game of fill-the-giant-bowl-with-liquid-a-teacup-at-a-time until a ball floating atop the water could be picked out of a small orifice covering the bowl.

Zach didn’t dominate, but he did win, and we’re left to wonder whether the houseguests regret ousting Amber given that she would have sucked at this. C’mon. Top models aren’t good with endurance challenges.

Top that with the knowledge that next Thursday is a double live eviction, and I’m almost certain the Little Julie Chens are blown up this week. First and foremost, I am pretty sure Zach nominates Jessica for sure.

He might go after Eric right off the bat, or he might try to backdoor him. We could be in for another instance of a PoV winner using the PoV on somebody but himself if Jess and Eric were to go on the block and Eric were to win the PoV. Seriously, those kids are a bit goo-goo for each other.

If you asked me, I say Zach has to go after Dick and Daniele. We are facing the very real possibility that Dick and Daniele are the two finalists, which I think is a wet dream for CBS in terms of drama. But, me? I’m not a fan of either, although I recognize that if somebody doesn’t do something soon to split them up, they will be impossible to beat in the final stages.

My hunch also is that the interest level on the feeds will go up dramatically as the level of not knowing also rises. Zach’s a wildcard, and this could get very interesting if he opens himself up to the strategic maneuverings of a desperate house.
