Big Brother 9 to premier on Feb. 12, 2008
Well it looks like we finally have a date. Feb. 12, 2008! 9:00PM Eastern/8:00PM Central Big Brother will return to CBS for the 9th time!
So with Big Brother coming back I figured it was time to start getting the blog in shape! So I have made a few changes around here.
Change #1: As you may have noticed we have a brand new banner. I would love to hear your feedback. My thoughts were to make something simple and something that could be used for all Big Brothers now and future. Also I wanted it to match the “puke” green color scheme…how did I do? 
Change #2: I have added GRAVATARS to my blog. This will allow you to show your personality next to your comments on the blog. As we were one of the most commented Big Brother Blogs on the web last season, we expect to keep up the trend. With that being said, all you have to do is go to Gravatar.com and upload an image of your choosing. It will automatically show up next to your comment (as long as you use the SAME EMAIL ADDRESS) so start getting your Avatar ready since we will have a contest for the MOST CREATIVE BIG BROTHER THEMED AVATAR…more info coming soon.
Change #3: We are expanding. With this being the most popular of my TV Blogs, I am in need of help with all of them. Also our new sister site needs someone who LOVES BIG BROTHER, who LOVES YOUTUBE and is INTERESTED IN EARNING MONEY. (got your attention did I?) Please email me if you are interested in helping out.

BB9 is starting in February, I heard, because of, 1) the phenomenal success the show had this past summer (Evel and Zach in the rain holding those keys? Riveting!!) and , 2) the writers’ strike’s duration is unknown, and it’s a JIC scenario. I happen to love the “puke green” banner, the keyhole bit..nice. My wife thinks I’m sick that I still am into BB, but after Season 8, who COULD get enough? My only hope is that BB didn’t “jump the shark” with Dick, and by that I mean, imitators, maybe spurred on either by CBS BB producers behind the scenes, or wannabes who saw how Dick won BB8, so now all of a sudden, we’re gonna have Evel clones. If that happens on BB9, I personally will tune out quickly. In the pit of my stomach, I have a notion that’s gonna be the case, though; I just hope I’m wrong. Just wonder if Showtime’ll be doing AD again…

Stacey, have you been living in a plastic bubble? Didn’t you know there is a writer’s strike going on now that has no resolution in sight? Therefore, no prime time non-reality shows that need script writing are being filmed due to the fact that there are no people to write the scripts!!! So, having said that, the prime time major networks i.e. CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, etc., have to fill in their prime time tv slots with programming other than repeats or they fear their station will drop in the ratings, hence, fill in those time slots with non-scriped reality TV!! It was pretty easy to explain, hope you now know why BB9 will air in the winter. Mayb e we’ll see a summer edition as well. Who knows, we could get lucky.

I am really looking forward to BB9 And I don’t know about anyone else but I really, really hope they have BIG BROTHER AFTER DARK , ( on any channel )
It really gives you a heck of A LOT more info on things that are going on in the house. I watched it every night. PLease let me know if BB9 is planning to keep BB After Dark. I’ll keep my fingers crossed!!! thanks

I hope we have the After Dark again as well, sure is a lot easier to watch it on TV than sitting at my computer watching the feeds. If you are listening Showtime, we want more BBAD!!!

On the “Survivor China” television program that aired on December 16, 2007, Mrs. Denise Martin, an employee of the Douglas Public Schools, stated that she was demoted from her position as a cafeteria worker upon her return from taping the show. This statement is false. In fact, Mrs. Martin held a full-time position as a custodian prior to her participation in the series, and she returned to this same position upon her return from China. Mrs. Martin was granted - at her request - an unpaid leave of absence so that she could participate in the “Survivor” program. We were pleased and excited to support Denise, and have enthusiastically cheered her on throughout the duration of the show.
Although Mrs. Martin was a cafeteria employee prior to her selection as a contestant, she asked to be considered for a promotion to full-time custodian, and was promoted to this position on March 30, 2007. This promotion came with additional benefits and a higher salary. Following her leave, she then returned to this same position.
Regretfully, the Douglas Public School District was inaccurately portrayed as failing to be accommodating to an employee during what the District viewed as a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity. This is far from the case. On the contrary, we granted all requests made by Mrs. Martin so that she could participate in the “Survivor” series. Since Mrs. Martin was on an approved leave, her position was held open for her, and she returned to this same position upon her return from China. As a District, we make every effort to support our employees, and will continue to do so.

Man…that was totally inappropiate what Denise did! She completely LIED! She could get written up for that sob story! But she put them in a tight spot cuz anything they do to her will be observed and School Districts have to be politically correct! Playing the fool at least got her an extra 50K. Thats shameful that she (in a way) took advantage of Burnett’s generosity! Her face DID have a strange chagrine (?) on it when Jeff told her. And her family didnt look like they were hurting for food. She should use that $ for a tummy tuck after the VERY BRIEF camera shot during the bridge puzzle Challenge. WOW! I watched the interview with the (former) Lunch Lady…. If I know anything, I know that she would have rather been anywhere other then answering those questions… CBS did a split screen interview with Denise and an HR rep from the school district… and let me tell you, watching Denise squirm is no pretty sight… I wonder if CBS were to now tally the viewers on the shows most popular players, what would the totals say about her popularity? The thing I don’t understand is why she did it… she never said that they MOVED her, but the story was spun in that direction… her career moves which happened well before she left for China had no bearing on what was going on in the show… to me, that makes no sense, but after we all though it was all said and done, it did add one little bounce of drama…
That being said, I hope everyone is haveing a better day then Denise…

First of all, Julie Chen IS back. Here is information I’ve found for you guys, enjoy!
New information on the Big Brother 9 House: Source
*The house is extremely colourful.
*The living room and kitchen are decorated like a winter cabin- logs and stones,—to match the winter season.
* White birch mural paper up in the Diary Room!
*The living room sports a circular couch for the bb9 Houseguests.
*The third level is no longer the log wallpaper and is bookshelf wallpaper.
*The HoH room has a surfer theme.
*The other bedrooms have low walls which divide up a little bit of individual space for the big brother houseguests.
*One room has a nautical them!
*The backyard now sports a firepit to keep the HG warm on the frosty winter nights.
*The pool is also heated now.
Diary room is weird looking. It won’t have the crunchy paper. The hamsters go in next Friday. They’re already in sequester… ” becuase julie chen has begun filming entertainment tonigth segments.. and will reveal a secret sooner than expected”.

What a great season last year!!!!!! If this season is half as good as last year I will be in heaven. Could BB find another Evil Dick on season 9 ?… Man that guy’s horrible mouth just drained all the energy out of the house (and my house too)…LOL. it was a great season but man were some of the episodes painfull to watch….I will never forget how DICK saved his daughter Daniele those times w/ the power of veto and she stabbed him in his back to save herself. What a spoiled little brat that girl was. In the beginning I thought she was such a beautiful sexy girl but the way she acted made me sick ; What an ugly human being. oh, not only did little miss selfish stab her dad in his back but she stabbed her boyfriend in his back on national t.v. by fooling around with Nick. And who cryed more Daniele or Amber? And Im not sure but I think Amber’s strategy was to cry every episode… wah wah wah, boo hoo hoo, poor me, EVERY SINGLE SHOW, I called my friends and we laughed over the phone ,”ha ha ha she’s crying again”… LOL And let’s not forget JEN aka Jenius…. he he he ….If I was one of the houseguests I would have written JEN-ITALS .on my T-shirts and wore it as a goof…ha ha ha and if anyone out there runs into Zack tell him that MENSA called looking for him, cause he was a real Jenius….. Well People I can’t keep my trap shut , I mean this game has me stressing. I am happy to see that Sheila is no longer in the house. She gave up in the water competition. She blew it cause she’s a damn quitter. (Ryan voted her out last night) And of course we had to deal with her crying and crying and…..crying…. I am so sick of Sheila and her mouth.
