Hi, everyone!
Sorry for the late update, it was a crazy night yesterday with both the series finale of Degrassi and a Blue Moon Party in downtown Dallas. But I’m recovering. 🙂
Anyway, if you’ve been reading the comments then you already know this but I figured I’d go ahead and make an “official” notification:
Shelli and Clay are on the block.
Shelli has been crying a lot but she has also been trying to reach out to people on a social level and convince them that she’s not as dangerous as they all think. Clay, meanwhile, has been pouting and laying around in bed.
At one point, Clay said that, if he won the veto, he would use it on Shelli and sacrifice his game for her. Meanwhile, Shelli said that if she won the veto, she would also use it on herself. James, meanwhile, decided that if either Clay or Shelli came off the block, Liz would be replacement nominee, on the theory that Austin and Julia would naturally vote to keep Liz.
But it turns out that it really doesn’t matter because they had the POV comp earlier today and JAMES WON!
So, unless something weird happens and James decided to change the nominations, that means either Clay or Shelli will be going home on Thursday! Shelli has apparently been going into the diary room and begging production to start sending HGs to the jury house a week early. She has apparently figured out that she’ll be the one voted out and she doesn’t want to be separated from Clay.
Finally, and this courtesy of Star, it appears that this was one of those POV competitions where everyone won a prize. Here’s a run down:
James won the POV.
Clay won a vacation for two to Ireland and I would like to volunteer to go with him.
Vanessa is going to be shacked to someone.
Becky won some money.
Shelli has to do a knife routine and ring a bell 100 times. I’m not sure what happens if she fails to complete her task. I imagine she’ll get a penalty vote or something.

Been hanging on live feeds all day and so happy that James won the POV. I was rooting for him to win it. I hope that Shelli is the one voted out. She is so fake. I just wish that James would find out somehow that he does not have the support of the house and I hope that Vanessa is the next one to go. Steve, Becky and now Johnny Mac are not too happy about James winning and we all know why. Their knight in shining armor and their damsel in distress are in trouble and one of them is going home.

You’d think that with Shelli and Clay a couple with a psycho accomplice and Austin’s apparent threesome, that the remainder of the house would see the potential of adopting a united we stand, divide we walk out the door one by one policy. James, Becky, John, Jackie, Meg and Steve finally working together at this point makes numerical sense.

I just hope he won’t let anyone sway him from his brilliant move ….. to separate the power couple. I think the “other side” of the house should be glad someone had the guts to play the game. I would love for Austin to go next. By the way, Lisa, if Clay knew what a Fox you are, he might just take you to Ireland with him. 😉

Clay is begging everyone to vote him out how dumb is that. I think Clay will be the one leaving and all James hard work will be for nothing. Watch sheeli if she stays running the house again with Van and that would such big time for me. Sheeli is i such a selfish self centered person time for her to go. I heard that James is also a veteran love him for serving our Country. He really is a good all around person with a Daughter to support. I would love to see him win over Van who will use the money to play poker.

Am I the only one that thinks that James should back door Vanessa? If he makes a deal with Shelly and Clay to keep them it would be to his benefit. I really think once vanessa is gone Shelli and clay would switch alliances in a heart beat. I don’t care who goes bc of personal reasons, I just think this would be a better game play.

LOL!!!……BB told Austin to “stop that”… because he was trying to move the dental chairs closer together so he could be closer to Liz. Austin in turn wonders why BB is trying to keep him from getting closer to Liz.

So what does everybody think about this….HUMM?? Verbatim from a blog:
6:12PM BBT: Clay goes into the bathroom, still wearing his knight suit from PoV competition, and Meg follows him.
Clay brings her in for a hug, they start blubbering, Clay asks Meg to vote him out and, while crying, she hits him. Meg tells him to STOP, that he can’t ask that of her. She tells him if he wants out to look around the house but not at her, she can’t do that.
They start whispering. I caught Meg saying “I am giving you tough love baby, it’s not up to you anymore. If I am in jury and you are final two – you are getting my vote, so stop acting like this, you came in here alone and you came to play…. I know you don’t want to hear this, but Shelli’s game is better, my peeps want her out… You had to go off with your lady friend… you are campaigning to the wrong person…” She says she loves that Shelli makes Clay happy, but when it comes down to it, she loves Clay more. The only thing I caught from Clay was” “Don’t tell anybody about this…” They, hug, hug, cry, sniffle, mumble… they split up.
That’s it for a while…I’m off to watch BBAD.

Question: When do they have the POV ceremony? I will be so relieved if James doesn’t use the veto! Why would he?? Pressure from his side of the house?? Not a good reason! @Junksies..good stuff!!! Thanks! And good for Meg to try to give Clay a slap of reality!! He’s so young and impressionable and has way too much loyalty to his LADY right now!! He needs to play the game and win the money. Then, he and Shelli can live happily ever after if they want to!!! If being separated breaks them up then, it wasn’t *meant to be*!!lol
I’m behind in BBAD but am being amazed at the severity of the punishments this season!!! Since the POV was based on game of thrones, everything is King/Queen based with costumes!! Shelli(who we called Queen of the house, now is dressed like one, including crown) Has to do 3 tasks with a sword and had 24 hrs to complete 24 rounds. That’s 100/hr! Britanny had to kick a soccer ball last year and I can’t remember how many ties, but it wasn’t this strenuous!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Poor Jackie is dressed like a Knight for a week and the outfit so does NOT fit her!! And she has to keep the helmet on all the time..unless she is showering!! (so I am assuming when she sleeps too??) Meanwhile, Van is her Squire and had to BUFF her armor for 24 hrs straight!! Even while eating! If she showers or pees, Jackie has to wait right outside the door for her. I don’t know what, if any, the penalties are if any of the HGS fail to complete these tasks. They are calling them reward/punishments so if they do complete them, there must be some kind of payoff. But I’ve seriously never seen these things be this hard!!!! I seriously doubt anyone is going to get any sleep tonight!!! lol

Well, I couldn’t sleep!! So, here I am at my second home BB Blog! Star, you are a shining Star! I always enjoy your perspective on the Big Brother house. We rarely disagree! You are one of the people who have made me feel at home here, and I appreciate it. I also like being Facebook friends. I love the beautiful things you put on there, especially at Christmas! 🙂 Now back to BB ….. I really hope James will not let anyone sway him from his plan not to use the POV. This could be one of the most exciting thing to happen this season! I would rather Shelli be evicted instead of Clay. I really think once “Mother Shelli” is gone, he may actually make a decision on his own!

Pat Morita’s grandson, I mean James, has done a pretty good job this week thus far. Having anyone from the other side of the house finally try and do something about the current power structure is a good thing.
We thought nothing could be more pathetic than Austin latching on to Liz everywhere she goes. Well, if Clay tells everybody to vote him out instead of Shelli, he will be right there in the running. Although, Austin will take back the crown when he probably does the same thing.

Go James Go! This has been the best move in the gsme so far. Shelli needs to go. If she does, Clay will follow anyones lead. Vanessa should go next. James will pick the rest off one by one and win.

There is apparently talk of Vanessa wanting to keep Shelli and vote out Clay. It would be better for James’ game to take out Shelli so I hope he uses the veto and puts up either Vanessa herself or Liz. Doofus Austin and Julia would certainly vote to keep Liz so almost for sure Shelli would go.

What a relief it is having James as head of household. It’s so nice and calm, not like Vanessa’s HOH’s where it is nonstop stressing, strategizing, uhhmmming and all her other nonsense. The only way to guarantee Shelli’s eviction is to replace Clay with Vanessa, but I don’t think that will happen. Still can’t wait to see one of them go. Hopefully Queen Shelli.

@cathy I think you make a great strategic move suggestion for James to consider. James should meet with Clay & Shelly for a protection deal, “save” Clay at the Veto Ceremony and put up Vanessa as replacement nominee. He can act mad and shocked if Shelly goes home instead of Vanessa.
