Hi y’all!
So, you know how Vanessa has been offering to give money and gifts to various houseguests (mostly the twins)? Well, just a few minutes ago, she finally got in trouble for it. She got called the diary room and when she emerged, she told the twins that she had been “spanked.” She also told them that she hoped that they understood that she had only been “joking” when she attempted to bribe them. She went on to give a speech about how Big Brother rules state that HGs cannot split the prize money and that bribery is not allowed. She hopes that everyone understand that she was definitely not serious when she offered to do everything that she offered to do.
Sure, Vannessa.
You know, it’s fun to know that Vanessa finally got called out for some of her behavior but, quite frankly, she’s been offering people money and cars for weeks now! And it’s only now that production got around to telling her to stop? Could it have anything to do with the fact that everyone online is talking about Vanessa cheating in the HoH competition?
Well, regardless, it’s too little too late. I get the feeling that if anyone other than Vanessa had done that, they would have gotten a penalty nomination or some other punishment. I mean, they’ll give you a penalty vote if you eat while you’re a have not but attempting to bribe other houseguests? That just gets you a warning.
Anyway, other than that, the big news in the house is that James won the veto. And Vanessa spent all last night, freaking out. Who could she put up in James’s place? Could she put up Weirdo Steve? Or maybe she should just put up Johnny Mac again? And she went on and on about it.
And finally, while Vanessa talked to Weirdo Steve, Sasquatch, and the Hate Twins, there was finally a light at the end of the tunnel. Julia offered to go up as a pawn. Vanessa assured her that there was no way that she would be voted out over Meg.
And so, as of right now, it appears that Julia will be nominated on Monday.
Now, this would be a great chance to break up Sasquatch and the Hate Twins. James, John, and Steven — if they would just work together — could easily vote out Julia and tip the balance of power in the house.
But, don’t get your hopes up. This morning, Weirdo asked Johnny Mac if he would be willing to vote out Meg. “Of course,” John said. So, it looks like John wasn’t joking when he told Julie that Meg would be his target.
Hmmm…what’s the word I’m thinking of here? Oh yes — IDIOTS!
And that’s the way it is in the Big Brother House.

Thank you Lisa for this fantastic blog. I’m just curious, are all the JM fans still JM fans? He’s just as weird (and dumb) to me as Steve. His “exit” interview was hard to watch – his laugh was simply painful. I’ve watched BB since the first season and I usually get frustrated – but not THIS frustrated. (This house is just as bad as the racist house, and that’s BAD). I’m rooting for James because he’s the only one who seems sincere (and I’m from Texas). Meg, well she’s weird too and not much of a player, but she’s an underdog so my heart goes out to her. The rest of those folk are just hideous. Sad to say it, but Van seems to be the only one really playing this game – as much as I can’t stand her, she is constantly thinking 2 steps ahead. If she were SMART, she’d “support” a Julia eviction – but I agree w/ tendr, these people (except James) are all idiots.

James is also siting on the disk in the composition and he does not think it was cheating it was called last man standing, so you tell me was it flat out cheating or miss understanding hate to think it was cheating. Would James and Vanessa deliberately cheat let’s hope not.

I’m sitting here listening to the twins talk about how mean Meg is!!!!!! Do they not see that they are one hundred times worse than Meg! I’m glad to see that Vanessa finally got called down about her ‘bribes’. The first I remember is when Jason was on the block and she was offering to get him a job, a car, etc. since then she has promised things to just about everyone. Why aren’t they wondering how she can afford to do all this.
I still like JohnnyMac. I don’t think he is stupid, just ignorant of the way the game is played and too trusting. He believes when people promise him things that they really mean it. He should have watched a few seasons of BB before he came on the show.
They are still under the impression that double eviction is next week, not this week and I hope they don’t find out. Catch them all by surprise. Maybe this will make the game more interesting for us. Heaven knows what JM or Steve would do if they win! It could be a game changer. If they knew it would be a great time to get Julia out with Austin or Vanessa right behind her. I would love that.

For all Vanessa’s thinking and scheming what one earth does she think will happen when / IF they get down to the final 4 and it’s her , Austin & the twins? She’ll be the first to go! She HAS to realize this! so I just can’t imagine what is going thru her head other than she doesnt want to be the one to “get blood on her hands” so that she can count on their votes .. well DUH .. they will be still in there WITH her if she doesn’t get rid of them SOON so they won’t be voting! I’m lost on what she can possibly be thinking to keep them around. Nobody in there seems to have figured out where this all is heading with keeping the “gleesome threesome” around! How can they POSSIBLY not see it???

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I can’t stand Johnny Mac. He just doesn’t get it in anyway whatsoever. The exit interview w/Julie was a perfect example, saying his target is Meg. Huh? What a dope. Now to Vanessa. I’ll stick to my previous assessment and again say I just don’t understand her gameplay. Why in the world is she keeping frankenstein and the twink twins. Makes no sense. It isn’t brain surgery. No way she wins with those 4 around. Wake up people!!! Its BB and not your chance to become famous, start playing.

This season shouldn’t be called “Big Brother” it should be called “Oh Brother” because of all the stupidity. Van actually said a pair that cares for each other (Meg and James) must be broken up. It’s basic knowledge. This is the person protecting sisters and a girlfriend/boyfriend. Oh brother.

Tomorrow when I can watch tonight’s show, as edited, I will do some frame by frame viewing of James, JMac and Vanessa during the HOH comp, something you can’t do with the live feeds, and see if James was also sitting his butt on the perch, not his utt on his heels above the perch. It seemed to me that sitting in a crouched position with butt resting on heels, but not touching the perch was acceptable. Therein lies the caveat, Both JMac and James have big feet that appeared to totally cover the perch and relatively small butts whereas it is the other way around with Vanessa. So for her to crouch her big butt on her smaller feet both in length and width, not totally covering the perch, without some portion of her butt touching the perch would be quite a feat, if not impossible.
But hey, she deserved the win, regardless, according to her. But when James won the POV he didn’t deserve the win, again according to her, because production created a competition just for him to be the easy winner. Shut up Vanessa before you move down even farther on Joker’s least liked fan list.

I think the most frustrating thing about the HOH comp was the way the ropes swings were favoring some of the HG’s. Did you notice that all of the swings were slowly going around, then all of a sudden one person was swirling around so hard, there was no way they could stay on? It happened several times, but not to everyone. Also, there was some discussion in previous posts that the three girls from Jury jumped off all at the same time because they wanted to go back to the luxury of the Jury house. I think all of the jury members fought hard. Besides Vanessa, all of the jury members outlasted the other HG’s. Just saying!!

I hope Vanessa will finally use her brain and figure out she would be better off going to the other side with Johnny Mac, Steve, Meg ( if she survives eviction) and James ( who is gradually becoming my favorite … in spite of his crazy tricks) I didn’t like it when he poured honey into Steve’s mouth! Beside the danger of him choking, some people are allergic to honey. My mom was! Well, those are my thoughts! I appreciate all of yours. Bed time for this old lady. 😉

C’est Moi: I’m glad you detailed why others in sitting position weren’t breaking the rules,
but Van was. I was so confused as it seemed so many of the players swung around in
crouched positions. Looking forward to your assessment tomorrow. (My computer is
working for right now. I can only hope it continues, as it went on the blink again yester-
day.)
Jolee: I agree with you on the motion of the swing ropes. I saw it,too. I, also, noted that
it seemed Van’s rope barely touched the hand and others were hit hard by the hand. I
don’t know who was manipulating the hand…..but it wasn’t fair across the board. At
least it didn’t appear to be.
I’ve seen the rules applied to some and not others in seasons past, but never as blatantly

Vanessa has cheated on more than one comp and, while only disqualified once, she was never penalized as severely as we expect from participants of a game. Esp. if there is a large sum of money at the end of the game. I have to question a production staff that allows so much cheating to go on (ex:
Audrey and Vanessa) as if these people are their favorites, and they are above the rules
others must follow. Are they not, also, cheaters? And my other question is: If those who
play poker with Vanessa have seen how she has cheated on this show, not now question
if she cheats at poker?

If Vanessa can’t figure out this is perfect time to put up one of the three in front of her by Julie volunteering to go up, then Vanessa orchestrating James, Steve, JM to vote Julie out since only Liz and Austin can vote then since Julie took herself out of voting opportunity and also took Vanessa out of breaking the tie, she doesn’t look too smart in my eyes. Can she not see what Austin tries to talk her into every time. Austin runs his mouth off also way too much but that’s ok! Also if by some chance Vanessa should make it to the f2 she could say she really had nothing to do with voting Julie out she volunteered to go up and it was the others, because she is now thinking of how to secure possible votes if she were to make it that far. And with Vanessa not playing for HOH this week she would have 4 on her side and 2 in Liz and Austin against her and another good chance to take one more out leaving only what I would call the minority in the house, the ones with the minority of competition greatness in Meg, Steve, JM, Liz, Vanessa, and James. So if they get out Julie then back that up with an Austin eviction, this is what it would look like and Vanessa would have to like the look of this much better. Plus maybe garner some jury votes!

why do I sense that the 17 yr. season of BB maybe coming to and end…this season has crashed to an epic low point…some major changes need to happen at CBS and with the show…because as they say in America…IT AIN’T WORKEN ANYMORE…Changes need to happen from the executive producer all the way down the pipe…not sure what crystal ball these folks where gazing at when this yrs. crop of house guests was selected…CHANGES NEED TO HAPPEN…or season 17 may be the last…

I no longer believe that Vanessa was doing anything improper during the rope swing HOH since James, JMac, Liz and Vanessa all clearly had their butts touching the perch off and on during the competition as viewed frame by frame. Question is, where did the belief that butts touching the perch should result in any competitor being disqualified? The only rule I kept hearing was that the competitors feet could not come off the perch and Vanessa’s feet never came off of the perch until JMac dropped and Vanessa became HOH. Though not included in the edited Sunday Big Brother airing, Austin did yell at JMac that his butt touched, possibly hoping JMac would think that would disqualify him and immediately after that JMac did drop off exhausted but knowing he was safe when he did drop.

Randy: Great game plan, and one I was thinking about, also. I know that Vanessa is
someone who calculates all the odds before making a final decision, but I think she has
her heart set on taking the twins to the end with her. She needs to realize that keeping
Austin is the biggest risk to her game. But I had to laugh when the pontificating Austin
said he was so upset for not being able to play in that comp, as he would have done so
well. Ha! With all of his gymnastic antics (might I mention which seem more suited to a playground than life inside a house) he really hasn’t been that great at endurance comps. I
think that comp would have been difficult for him. He has large feet, large body weight
to add pressure to the small perch, and who knows how the twirling would have affected
him. I have noticed he likes to preach about his prowess, when there is no way he can
prove his special skills.
I’m still not so sure how deep Liz’s attachment to Austin goes. She runs hot and cold to
me. I think she likes the added layer of protection he offers her game and the attention
he showers on her, but I rather think she thinks more of herself and any advantage to
promote herself or propel herself forward than she does about Austin. I’m wondering
if Liz was voted out at the double eviction would Austin self-evict? He so wants private
time with her.
I believe Van will think she is better protected to keep Julie. She is still a little afraid of

will be interesting to see how this one works out. At least it isn’t predictably boring for
once….for now.

Each year Big Brother seems to let things slide for the special peeps. Van should be kicked out on her ass for offering money. Funny how the edited show doesn’t show this. I guess BB wants to keep it on the download. I don’t really care who wins this season. I don’t know if there will be anymore BB seasons but since some are getting the special treatment and rules only apply to some, I won’t be watching. Bye BB.
